Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Tradition...(continued...again)
((OOC: Just the same post. Nothing new if you already read it!))
Vash was the last to enter the rift. As he stepped into the light blue outlined portal, he found himself moving at an increadible pace. Everything wnet by so quickly, almost in an instant. The blur that was the world around him was hard to discern, but he could make out key monuments as he shot past them. England, France, Germany, he watched as each country faded into the distance and he passed through a new one. Finally, it all stopped. He appeared out of the other side of the rift, standing in the back of the group he had brought.
The scene around them was dark and brooding. The sky was a dark grey and black clouds threatened rain overhead. A full moon lit up the village so that everyone could see just what was going on. The small houses that littered the cobble stone streets were delapitated and sad looking. Most looked like they would be the bare minimum for a home, while others were blown right open, sometimes having half the house blasted apart. The streets were littered with rubble and a damp feeling was around their ankles as the mist floated past. The flapping of wings could be ehard everywhere as bats flcoked around in the air like birds. The air held a smell of rot, gun powder and burnt wood and stone as Vash breathed deeply with satisfaction.
"Ahhh..." he exclaimed, exhaling loudly, "it is good to be home."
The feeling of moving so quickly without moving at all stopped. Amber's dark eyes looked around, but nothing looked familiar. The air didn't feel the same as it had around the estates and the school. Ria dashed over to Amber, pulling her arm. The feeling came off as creepy, yet it made sense when Vash had said he was home.
Home?
"Sugoi! That was so fun!" The young girl said.
Amber turned to Vash, more in curiousity than anything.
"Home?" she repeated what had been on her mind. "Where exactly are we?"
"Somewhere in Europe," Ciana said, seeming distant as if she was reminiscing a time before. "Never been in this area..."
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
“I saw England go past, my home it was so clear” Yakoutio laughed as he suddenly jumped up and down with excitement, “That was so cool we have to do it again”. Yakoutio suddenly stopped jumping as he realised where he was, he was in a strange place with bare streets and poorly built houses, much different to where he was a second ago.
“Vash…” He started as he looked around the strange place, “Where are we…?”

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
"My friends, welcome to the The Balkans of Romania! Our current residential area is known as Moieciu, though the acctually city is a little ways away. As you can see, Bran Castle is a mere stone throw away. Now, if you will kindly follow me, we shall go search out what it is I brought you all here for."
With that, Vash was off. His pace was slower than usual, and it looked like he was taking in the scenery. To others, it looked like a run down, war ravaged city. To him, though, it looked exactly as he had left it. None of the buildings had been ruined, the town was prosperous, yet the plague that began it all had finally reached the poor town. Since then, his home had been slowly ripped apart from a constant war and various uprisings of demons. It didn't seem to bother him at all, which was a good thing. He seemed happy for once, walking down the destroyed cobble stone road towards what seemed to be a cement bunker off in the distance.
Vash's mother looked at everyone, giving them a quickk smile before walking off behind her son. She stayed a dew feet away, letting Vash have his nostalgic moment. She knew he had a habit for wanting to be alone, and she had always respected that. It was in his nature, his blood to be that way. His father had had the same tendencies once and awhile, so she had grown to accept it as a part of her life. Still, it would have been nice to talk to her son about these things once and awhile...
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
"Romania?" Amber said. She watched Vash and his mother walk ahead. It probably was the first time she had seen him so...rejuvenated.
Ciana and Ria both followed after Emily Hellsinger. Ciana remarked something about the quaint architectural style of the town while Ria hummed a happy little tune. Amber looked up at the sky. It was beautiful in a dreary sense, similar to the days when she would look outside from her bedroom and see the rain coming and while the sun was setting behind the clouds.
"It's actually kind of nice here..." she said softly to Yakoutio, trailing after her mother and sister.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
“Quite nice in a eerie creepy kind of way” Yakoutio replied nervously, he swiftly walked forwards in order to catch up not wanting to use his lightning speed technique when not needed, he finally managed to catch up with the group though he had to move his legs almost twice as fast just to keep with them.
“So anyway” Yakoutio said as he followed, “Now that we know where we are, would you mind telling us why you brought us all here?”

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Vash completely ignored the two. He was too involved in the scenery to even hear anyone around him. It was as if the boy was in a trance, or had regressed to the age of a mere child. His eyes were dancing around, trying to take in everything at once. The situmlation was overwhelming. The hunter then smirked, chuckling to himself and shaking his head. He was acting foolish, yet he enjoyed it.
As the group reached the bunker, it was evident it had not been used in decades. The door was rusted, the stone was decaying, and it looked like it had not had any upkeep for at least twenty years. The bunker also had that 1945's look about it. It was a large cement block in the ground that nobody had bothered to fix. The strange thing was, it looked as though people had been here. Footsteps littered the front as they were imprinted in the dirt now below their feet.
Vash knocked on the door three times, waiting for an answer. It came in the form of two golden eyes, staring lazily back at him through a slit in the door. They seemed to sway back and forth in the small slit. It was somewhat comical to watch them, or hypnotizing if you concentrated hard enough.
"Who issssh it!?" the deep, dark and slurred voice of the eyes asked.
"Vash." the dunpeal replied, smirking a little more.
"Whaaat!? Yooouuu werrre shupposed to haaave beeeen here yeshterday! We allllll got drrrunk without ya!"
The noises of mechanics could then be heard from behidn the door. A large wheel was being turned, most likely that of a safe. Undoubtebly, this bunker was state of the art for it's time. The large iron door then swung open and a large hairy wolfman stood there. The werewolf was staggering as he moved forward and hugged Vash with all his might. The dunpeal looked as if he was going to be snapped by the lycanthrop's two telephone pole arms, covering in a silvery grey fur.
"I thought you'd never shooowww up!" he protessted. "Com'on! Everyone isssh waiting, buddy!"
Amber felt a little better, seeing Vash in such an upbeat mood. Everytime she had seen him, he was less than in such a mood. Even earlier tonight he had been in a low mood, but that felt so far away now.
While Amber was quite composed seeing the wolfman, Ria made a small "eep" and had hid behind the safety of her wings. Amber had been more fascinated by the area, the sky and she tilted her head curiously as the wolfman hugged Vash. Strange...like the slinking man.
More friends of his?
Ciana was just as composed as her daughter had been. Apples never fall far from the trees it seems. She was inspecting the wolfman with a hand on her chin in thought and made a comment in a low voice.
"Huh. So they do exist."
Amber clasped her hands in front of her, suddenly feeling aware of how out of place she must look. A girl with small wings and a dress of pink and white lace must seemed odd in a place such as this. Maybe she should've changed to a black dress before meeting up with Vash...
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
“Wow a Lycun” Yakoutio said as he walked around the werewolf slowly checking him over, “I’ve read about you guys in books but I never thought you existed let alone would get the honour to actually meet one in person”
Yakoutio flipped his coat open as he reached inside for something, the sheer mass of guns and dangerous explosives jangled as he pulled something out but as he pointed it outwards it became clear that it was a bottle of some sort.
“Amazing” He said as he twisted the new bottles cap off filling even the open aired street with the stench of strong alcohol, it was a bottle of black absinthe.
“Truly remarkable”. Yakoutio repeated as he took a large swig from the bottle.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
The werewolf looked at the young boy as he was inspected. He didn't exactly like it, but there was something he didn't like even more. The boy had pulled out an alchoolic beverage that was very strong and took a swig. The werewolf quickly snatched it up, growling a little. He then crushed it in one hand and let the glass and liquid drop to the ground.
"You shouln't be drinkin' dat stuffff!" he scolded.
The werewolf then motioned for the group to follow, going to the stairs of the bunker. Emily quickly scooted in and started to talk with the large wolfman. Vash lingered behind, seeing how uncomfortable Amber seemed. He didn't exactly want her to feel that way, especially since he invited her. Besides, he was going to be embarassed enough for the both of them once he got down into the bunker. He had neglected to tell any of them his birthday had ended not more than two hours ago. The doorman, Shadowfang, had known and that's why he was so puzzled. He just wasn't sure how the others would react.
"Nervous?" he asked Amber, his own voice now sounding a little shakey.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
"Listen to the wolfman, kid." Ciana said to Yakoutio rubbing her hand through his hair. She had momentarily seemed crushed by the shattering of the alcoholic beverage. "You're too young to drink stuff like that. And on that note, I wonder if there's any good booze stored here."
Amber smiled softly at him. Nervous was not exactly the word she had in mind, but it was close enough.
"A little. I feel overdressed," she said with a giggle, pulling at one of the ruffles in her dress. The girl clasped her hand around the cross at her neck and its prescense reminded her of the question she had been wanting to ask Vash. She glanced around. Ria was fascinated by the wolfman, but kept her distance by staying around Vash's mother while she spoke to him.
"Ah Vash..." she said softly, trying to remain composed. "Did you like your Christmas present?"
“That drink costs twenty five dollars,” Yakoutio said in shock as he stared at the broken bottle on the floor, “Eighty percent alcohol volume and delicious taste, all gone”.
Yakoutio bent over to the ground as he tried to scoop up as much of it as he could but the high alcohol percentage caused for it to evaporate incredibly quickly.
“Chickusho!” Yakoutio yelled, “Dammit, that’s not fair”. Yakoutio stood up and started shivering as he took out a wide roll up cigarette and lighter, putting one in his mouth he lit the tip and took a deep breath in exhaling the smoke causing for him to calm down as he put the lighter back in his pocket.
“I only have three of those left” He sighed.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
"Chirstmas present?" Vash said, wondering what she was talking about.
Had she given him a present? Did he lose it? Did he even bother to open it if he had gotten it? What was she talking about!? Vash had no clue Amber had even given him a present. The thought of the messy room then came back to him. It must have been buried under the rumble, or at least hidden in some corner.
"Oh, yes, that present!" Vash exclaimed, as if he had just remembered. "Mmm...I love it. Quite thoughtful, Amber."
He then nodded his head in agreement and hoped she wouldn't ask anymore questions. He then turned to face the door once again. His mother and Shadowfang had already disappeared down the long staircase. Everyone else seemed to be sticking around the entrance, though. It must have been because they had no clue what was down there.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Vash asked the rest of the group.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Amber brightened up at his words and clasped her hands together. She seemed a little less nervous than she had been earlier. She briefly hugged his arm.
"You did? I'm so glad you like it!"
Ciana raised an eyebrow at Yakoutio. A cigarette too; if this child had been her own...
Ria pulled Ciana toward the staircase before she culd say anyting to the boy. The two started down the steps, Ciana holding Ria's hand.
Amber followed after her mother and sister without another word. The staircase reminded her from a scene from "The Cask of Amontillado", where Fortunato and the narrator descended a long winding staircase into the catacombs where the narrator would trap the intoxicated Fortunato in a crypt. She shivered for a moment, her arms crossing her chest.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Yakoutio finished up and took another deep breath in as he calmed down completely.
“Okay I’m done, though that Lycun owes me money, you can’t even buy those bottles in America, I had to get them in England and with the exchange rate they cost thirty pounds” Yakoutio said calmly, “And look Amber I’m still wearing your present”.
Yakoutio lifted the pendant she had given him up over his shirt so that she could see it though there was also a silver cross that he had made into a necklace with string next to it, seeing that he had pulled it out he pushed it back into his shirt so that only the pendant Amber had given to him showed.
“I think this Algiz thing is working because I haven’t… you know…” Yakoutio said, “Turned since I started wearing it”.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Amber smiled at Yakoutio. Algiz was a pretty powerful rune, and as long as one had a connection, an affinity with it he would be allright. Or that's how the legend goes. She placed her faith in that kind of magic, no matter if the Almighty had allowed it to exist or not.
"I'm glad it was able to help you. It suited you best, and I was sure it would protect you."
Amber had to watch her step, her hand resting along the walls of the staircase as she descended the stairs.
"Vash has one too, on the back of his though. I only had three of those, and used the rune that suited each person best."
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Vash watched as his two friends entured down the stairs. He then went in himself and shut the heavy iron door behind them. Who knew what crept in the night, and why would they want it inside? It was just the sensible thing to do.
The trio then walked down the stairs, following the path that the three adults and Ria had already made. It was a very dark corridor that led downwards in a spiral motion. The only light was the occasional lantern shaped light fixture that had obviously been remodeled into the bunker. It was quite spooky for anyone who wasn't used to such a scene. Vash seemed right at home, though. He let the other two keep infront of him, just to make sure no one lagged behind.
"I do hope you enjoy the party. I would not want to have put you two through all this trouble for nothing." Vash said, taking off his hat and seemingly unusually relaxed.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Yakoutio wondered how much a spooky spiral staircase like this would cost as he walked downwards keeping in front of Amber and Vash.
"I do hope you enjoy the party. I would not want to have put you two through all this trouble for nothing."
“Well only if nobody destroys my alcohol then I’ll be fine,” Yakoutio replied, “That includes Ciana, I know I may be too young to drink or smoke but it’s my decision”.
[Mr FUACKER sez]}33the Crulty of man shall be heard////don't touchthelinks fcker!; - SX<33/drugs/n’Fck’nRoll – I’m not addicted to drugs, I’m addicted to FAME <333//
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
((Well, seeing as sugoi is not posting, I shall))
As the group traveled down the stairs they found a light at the end of the tunnel. It was in the frame of a door. Shadowfang, Emily, Ciana and Ria were no where to be seen. Vash then walked over to the light, which was apparently behind a large iron door. It was identical to the last one, aside from the fact it had a regular handle. Vash looked back once at his friends and smirked before pulling hard and opening the door.
A sudden burst of light filled the stairwell as the sounds of music, cheering and laughter came with it. A party was going on in this concrete bunker and it seemed to have been going on for awhile. Red and gold decorations littered the place. Streamers, ballons, napkins, cups, everything matched. There was a band playing something that sounded like classical music, though it was up beat and dancable. It also sounded Ukrainian, or Russian, or slovic, whatever your preference was. The strangest part was that the room was littered with monsters like Vash. Vampires, lycanthropes, a few skeletons, a gaggle of madusas, a pair of liches and a single wraith in a dark shrowd. Shadowfang and the girls had already made themselves comfortable, or at least as comfortable as it possibly was.
"Well, I suppose we should enjoy ourselves while it lasts." Vash said, looking at his friends. "Breakfast should be soon, if I am not mistaken. Hopefully the food is not too varied for you."
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Amber glanced around quietly, taking in the festive atmosphere of her second party in a single night. Red and gold everywhere, such an unearthly and beautiful color for the atmosphere. Her mother was already making good on her declaration earlier, taking on another vampire in a drinking contest. Ria meanwhile was fascinated by the skeletons and asking them a ton of questions. Amber smiled to herself.
Another year to be here...
"This is quite the New Year party,"she said, looking at Vash and Yakoutio. "I'm sure breakfast will be fine. Excuse me gentlemen."
Amber bowed to them and then dashed off, joining Ria in chatting with the skeletons. She had always wondered (she had once believed it was a morbid thought) what a conversation with a skeleton would be like and there was no better opportunity than now.
Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
"For the last time, I don't know how I'm alive!" the skeleton retorted to Ria's questioning. "I just am. Alright? Just because I can take off my head and roll it around doesn't make me interesting. Go bug the werebear! He loves being questioned. I saw one of the madusas asking him a ton of questions yesterday and he was happy to answer them. Alright? Weren't you going to get some punch, little girl?"
The skeleton obviously had no clue how to get Ria to stop asking questions. He also seemed a little scatter brained (no pun intended). Hopefully the girl that was coming up to him would be a little less curious.
"Why, hello!" the skeleton said, trying to ignore Ria's questions. "And who might this beautiful angel be?" he asked Amber, taking off his bowler hat and bowing.
