Training gone bad (open!)
It was coming upon evening, and the warm sun was falling low in the sky. In fact, even in the open meadow of the forest, the sun was still low enough for the trees to hide much of it's direct light, which cast long shadows across the grassy ground from said trees. Yet there was still enough light to see quite clearly, and the sun was still enough there that the day remained warm. It was peaceful and nice; perfect for a training session.

Which was exactly what Knives was doing: training his swordsmanship. After all, he was now at a school where students learned to use superpowers. And on that note, he'd also heard that this school had a reputation for battles and whatnot. So, of course, Knives must make sure he could use his sword to the best of his abilities.

In the clearing, the student could be seen slashing and slicing his sword. As he swung it up and down, back and forth, the quick movements caused his long, curly brown hair - which fell to his eyebrows in the front, and past where his ears should be on the sides - to blow back and forth. But he wasn't just slashing the sword wildly: no, that was what inexperienced swordsmen did. He had a rhythmic movement to it, every action was a fluid extension of the last. He looked like a true swordsman, even though he was still only seventeen.

But now, as the sun hung low in the sky, Knives knew he had to finish up. He stood up straight now, resting his samauri-style sword on his shoulder, and sighed. All the movement had left him breathing hard, and very sweaty. With his free hand, he wiped the soaked hair out of his face, and then used his shoulder (as his white shirt had no sleeves on it) to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

Suddenly, there was a sound from behind him. The German Sheppard ears atop Knives's head twitched a little at the noise, and he spun around quickly. With his sword gripped tightly in front of him by both of his hands, the dog boy looked up with his deep blue eyes. Before him was a large dragon. With a look of complete fright on his face, Knives took a few steps back. He'd never seen a dragon in real life before, only on television and in movies and such. "And why would a dragon be here?" he wondered. But he had no time to ponder on it, as the dragon lunged forth to attack him.

(btw, feel free to control the dragon.)

Re: Training gone bad (open!)
Raunks had walked into the forest as a way to pass time and, more importantly, see where he stood in battle. Sure, he'd fought demons before, but they were all petty demons bent on revenge. As he wandered around the forest looking for people, he heard a noise and takes off running toward it's direction. He took the lighter out of his pocket and gripped it firmly, not letting it show in his hand. He stopped just a little short and took off his trenchcoat, letting his wings extend out. He tucked his tail around his left shoulder and walked out, looking for the thing that made the noise.

Raunks noticed the other person's presence there long before he'd seen what he was looking at. When he did see who the person was, he judged his strenght just a bit, making sure that he didn't overjudge and become . He then looked out towards what it is that this person was staring at and noticed the dragon. holy shit, this place has everything doesnt it, he thought to himself. i knew i should have trained harder before i came here! He stayed in the shadows of the trees, walking silently as he watched the the person and the dragon, just waiting and gripping his lighter.
