Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Training (open. I wanna fight...)
Maaz, wearing a different outfit than usual, walked into the gym. She wore a red tank top and black gym pants. On her feet were a pair of black sneakers. Feeling a bit awkward, Maaz let her psychic arms go out and feel all around in front of her. Not many people were in the gym. As far as her hearing could tell, which was superb, there were only about six or seven people. She walked the perimeter of the gym first, drawing stares from the other students. She made a mental picture for herself of the entire gym and stopped to survey it with her mind's eye. Bags. There were bags in the far corner of the gym that a couple of other students were punching and kicking. That's what Maaz decided she wanted to do. Walking back over, she stood in front of the bag, unsure of what to do. She knew she wanted to work on her hand to hand combat but how to start? The other students near her were just kicking and punching away.
"Shouldn't be too hard." Maaz said to herself, making a fist. Awkwardly, she punched the bag, her psychic arms still out. She saw the bag move in her minds eye and smiled approvingly. she punched it again but this time it swung back and hit Maaz in the chest, knocking her back a couple of steps. Grunting, Maaz used her psychic arms to grab it and make it stop.
"It's like a real person. Only..." Maaz murmured, ignoring the other students who were laughing at her. She began punching the bag again, being knocked back at various times but also dodging it at others. Eventually, she got the hang of it and began to vary her attacks, smiling at she attacked. She even threw in a couple of kicks just for....kicks. She found that if she timed her attacks right, she could always know where the bag was because of her psychic arms. The bag was all fun and well, but Maaz wished she could fight somone really. Her so called training was becoming monotonous.

Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
*Leaning againest a wall, he watched everyone work out. His body had gone thru alot since he left the school for a while. He was still in top condtion for fighting, but he looked like he had missed alot of meals.
As the female entered the gym. The color red caught his eye. Looking over he smiled lightly wondering how new she was since he had not seen her around before to his knowledge. As she moved around the gym he contuined to watch her and other students.
The ones punching the bag looked like beginers or maybe a little more then that. He nodded to the lass as she moved by him doubting she would notice. As she made it to the bags he watched her calmly wondering abotu her form. It was a little off and then she got hit by the bag. He smiled lightly as she stopped the bag and went back to work.
He got up and moved towards her and the others. They were laughing at her getting hit about when he got there. He looked them dead in the eye and raised a single eyebrow.*
"How would you feel if you ran into a door or a pole and everyone started laughing at you? I suggest you either close your mouths and train, since you need it, or leave. This place is a safe haven to train and not be made fun of because you are not the best at what you are doing. If you can not handle that, then do not return to this gym."
*The look he gave them was ment to show them he was serious about his words and would back it up if he needed to. He personaly considered a gym just another field of combat. You do not laugh about combat and death. After a moment of eyeing them he looked to the lass working on the bag.*
"Hail and well met. I am Jun-Bo. You want some one to help you train?"

Maaz paused temporarily to listen to the speaker then resumed her training. He was talking about the other students laughing at her. She smiled a bit at his hospitality but ignored him.
"Hail and well met. I am Jun-Bo. You want some one to help you train?"
Maaz stopped altogether, catching the bag and looking in Jun-Bo's direction. She pushed some of her short red hair from her face, the sweat she was producing made it stick to her forehead and she didn't want that. Not that Maaz was worried about her appearance, it just felt awkward.
"Hello, Jun-Bo. I am Ma....Rikku." Maaz had almost used her real name in response to the guy's question. Mentally kicking herself, Maaz continued. "I wouldn't mind some help. Will you fight me?"
Without waiting for an answer, Maaz swung her leg up towards Jun-Bo's face, wondering if he could dodge her kick. If he couldn't dodge her greenhorn attempts at fighting then he wouldn't be worth the time. Maaz needed someone who could really challenge her as well as teach her.

Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
*He smiles as she speaks her name or at least what she wants to be called. He was about to mention what a interesting name it was when she kicked at him. He raised up right arm and held it close to his body blocking his face with it. He smiled and spoke calmly*
"I like the name you are called by Rikku. It would be my pleasure to fight againest you."
*While he spoke he thrust out with his right arm forcing her leg up and back at her from his face. He took a step back and lowered his body down about 8 inchs and stuck his left hand forward. His right stayed near his side as he waited for her to react to his thrust, and see if the opening is made for his attack.
After a moments time he moved to shoulder ram her as she was just about to catch her balance. He smiled as he moved keeping his hands close to his body to be able to react to attacks.*

Maaz's kicked was blocked and her leg pushed back. Maaz didn't regain balance quick enough and her new opponent rammed himself into her. Maaz stumbled backwards and fell, rolling backwards and into a crouching position with the force of the push. Her psychic arms, as if on cue, emerged and readied themselves for another attack.
They were blind to the naked eye and Maaz prided herself for having them. But she was in the gym to work on her hand to hand combat, not exercise her psychic arms. Using them to find out where her Jun-Bo was, Maaz stood again.
"Good. I'll get serious." With that, she rushed at him and jumped, trying to get him with another roundhouse kick. If she missed, she already had in mind to bring her elbow around and catch him in the side.

*He smiled as she went to get up. He was not too worried about what she was going to do. He could take a large amount of damage before having to call it quits. When she came towards him and jumped he knew what to do. With him quicker reflexes he cruched down fast, planting his hands and then horse kicked up at her trying to catch her hip and side as she did her round house kick.*
"If you are againest an enemy you know nothing about, useing fancy attacks like a flying round house kick could leave you open for dire counter attacks."
*He hoped that she would not be upset with him trying to teach her something about fighting, that she might not have known. He uses his chi sense to be able to tell where she was even with out having to see her with his eyes.*
Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
When Jun-Bo's feet collided with Maaz's side, her psychic arms came out without warning nor promting and wrapped themselves around her upper half for protection. The pain from the kick was dulled and lessened but Maaz still felt it. Again, she fell back and landed on her feet.
"If you are againest an enemy you know nothing about, useing fancy attacks like a flying round house kick could leave you open for dire counter attacks." Jun-Bo said. Maaz frowned slightly, angry that she couldn't hit him. She could care less about what he was saying. She wasn't the jealous type.
Her ankle hurt from the fall but Maaz ignored it, letting her psychic arms stay out to aid her. As much as she wanted to fight hand to hand, she wouldn't know where her opponent was unless she could 'see' him. Being blind had its pros, and it had its cons. Maaz took a deep breath and let her psychic arms divide and scan her surroundings. Moving at top speed, a scratching noise could be heard, similar to that of light scratching on a chalkboard mixed with whispers.
Now that Maaz knew exactly where Jun-Bo stood, she kicked the hanging bag at him and then quickly rushed in to punch him, hoping the bag would distract him so she could at least get a hit in. If all else failed, she would still know where he was because of her psychic arms.

Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
*He watched her shift her stance and noticed that his feet felt odd when they hit. He was puzzled by this, he could not figure it out at that time, because there was a bag flying towards him.
He stepped out of the way of the bag and towards her and her punch. He actived steel skin and lowered his forehead down to take the blow of her punch. He had broken some one elses hand doing that once. But then the person had, had supernatural strength. Once the blow contected with his forehead he move to the right around it and came in close grabing his around the waist and throwing her stright up.*
Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
Maaz's punch connected but it hurt her instead of her intended target. Before she could completely register with the pain her opponent grabbed her by the waist and threw her up and above him.
Instinctively, her psychic arms retracted themselves into four again and locked onto Jun-Bo own arms. So, instead of going all the way up, Maaz went up a few feet but came back down faster with her feet below her so she could kick Jun-Bo in the face.

Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
*There was a second of a look of shock then a smile appeared on his face as the lass he tired to throw up grabbed him some how and made it so she came down on him hard and fast.
He moved his head so the feet would hit his forehead instead of his nose. Seeing that the forehead had the most bone and was made to take a blow unlike the rest of the skull. Apon impact he grabbed ahold of her waist, though this time it was more like hips, do to the long legs.
With the blow he rolled back and changed the toss up he had tired earily into an wrestling move trying hard not to slam her on her head which is what the move was ment to do. He shifted her in his hands so that her shoulder and back would take the blow.
He closed his eyes as he fell back. He had to use his chi sense to keep track of what was going on. The first blow was a minor blow and did almsot nothing, but taking a full force slam to the forehead by her feet was making his eyes water and making his dizzy when he used his eyes to try and see. He very quietly speaks to him self*
Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
Happy that her feet had hit their target, Maaz was caught off guard when Jun-Bo flipped her still and landed her on her back, hard. All the wind was knocked from her chest and temporarily she couldn't breathe. Her back and her shoulders hurt from the fall and her opponenet was above her, not helping the situation. But then again, was he supposed to?
By instinct, her psychic arms wrapped around Jun-Bo and began to squeeze, a common form of defense against living creatures she used.
"NO! Don't kill him. Just get him OFF me!" Maaz thought, the air returning to her lungs. She regained control of her arms and they landed on Jun-Bo's shoulders and pushed him up and away from Maaz. She rolled to the side and stood, a wave of dizziness hitting her hard. She had to sit back down again.
"I'm fine. Dont' stop." Maaz said, climbing back to her feet not two seconds after she had sat down. She no longer knew where Jun-Bo was so she sent her psychic arms out, looking for him. He was in front of her, to her far left. She ran towards him and made a move to kick him again.

*He smiled as she seemed to live thru hitting the floor. He had tired hard to make it so. He felt the invisable arms curla round him and starts to squeze. His skin held the arms at bay. It would have felt like they were trying to crush stone or something close.
When she thru him back off of her he let him self go flipping twice landing a good distance from him with a grin. As she got up he could tell she was feeling the blow but willing to contuine.*
"Good."
*He changed his stance so that way he was alot lower to the ground. As she ran towards him, he went to trip her at ankle height with his right then pushed it down and kicked with his left foot at knee height, at which point he switched up his kicks drawing them in fast and shooting them back out at her stomach hard and fast.
Her kick contacted his hip during his middle kick making his foot go a little higher then he had wanted. It aimed about chest height. But he moved his hands fast to keep him balance for his move.*
Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
The force of Jun-Bo's kick sent Maaz stumbling backwards. again, the air was knocked from her chest. Maaz fell onto her back and didn't move, trying to regain the lost air. Her pyschic arms were up, ready to block for her but she didn't plan on using them. She was enjoying fighting hand to hand. She rolled to her left side and stood up shakily, her legs feeling like jello.
"This is good. This is what I get from relying on them..." Maaz murmured, shaking her head to try and clear it. It took several deep breaths for Maaz to return to normal. She then realized just how tired she had gotten. The adrenaline rush from the fight was wearing off and fatigue was setting in. She wasn't used to long drawn out battles. Usually, Maaz just killed her attackers...
"Come at me again. I'm ready!" she said, despite her legs protest as she took a step in Jun-Bo's direction.

*With a huge grin he walked towards her calmly, letting her find out where he was as he moved towards her. His eyes opened as he had clears his head by then. He watched her actions with a sense of wonder at the fact that she was still standing. It was because of the invisable things he was sure.
With a smiled he raised two fingers to his lips and kissed then gently, just the tips and then with a realy quick move he weave to the right and then move fast to the left, just in front of her to her right. His right leg snapped back at the back of her legs to trip her onto her back. Once she was on her back. He kneeled down next to her and pressed the two finger tips he kissed onto her forehead.*
Re: Training (open. I wanna fight...)
Once again, Maaz found herself on her back. But this time, she didn't try and jump to her feet. She gave up, knowing full on and well that she was in no condition to continue. Breathing hard, Maaz's pupiless eyes stared up at the ceiling. She felt Jun-Bo press two fingers to her head and moved her head to the side, away from him.
"You are not bad at fighting. Just young at it." he told her. Maaz could only nod. Her back and shoulders hurt, her but was sore, she had a headache, and Maaz's hand ached from the punch she delivered. All she wanted to do was take a nice hot bath and relax.
"Thank you for fighting with me." Maaz said, sitting up. She stood slowly, with the aid of her psychic arms, and limped her way towards the door. She stopped and addressed Jun-Bo over her shoulder.
"I'm going to the springs. Do you want to accompany me?"

*As she moved her head away from his finger he nodded lightly to him self. It told him at least a little more about her. As she started to move he stood up and stepped back as she used her invisible arms to help her. He watched with interest as he got to her feet. He could not help but smile at the fact that she was resilient.
He watched for a moment while she limped her way towards the door. He was just turning to head back to train when she called back to him. As she offered to allow him to attend the springs with him, he looked back to her. His reply was cheerful.*
“I would be honored to join you for a relaxing dip in the springs. If you would like, I can go by my room and get some lavender sticks and bring some ointment for your burses.”
*His feet moved lightly as he started to head the way she was going. He was planning on getting the door for her. Not that he thought she needed it, but it was his way.*

“I would be honored to join you for a relaxing dip in the springs. If you would like, I can go by my room and get some lavender sticks and bring some ointment for your burses.” Jun-Bo said cheerfully.
"What are lavender sticks?" Maaz asked, truely curious. Ointment and bruises was a commodity in Maaz's world but she had never heard of lavender sticks.
"Can you eat them?" she asked, noticing vaguely that the fight had made her hungry.

*He raised an eyebrow as she spoke of not knowing what lavender sticks were. They could be used for different things, but eating was not something he had ever used them for.*
"You could eat them, I guess. But they are normaly but in the warm water to put off a mild lavender smell. Or you can rub them over bruses to help bring blood to the area and quicking the healing of wounds. It can also be ground up and bruned to fill a room with a stronger smell of lavender. Though if you are hungry, I could pick up some food and bring it along with the other items to the springs. We could make it some what of a date, to get to know each other better. If you could stand that and would not mind."
*He reached the door and opened it for her moving to a postion where she could get out easily enough.*

"Okay." Maaz nodded, somewhat satisfied with the answer she got back. She wouldn't eat the lavender sticks, not if they were to help heal her.
"I don't mind you bringing food. Can you meet me at the springs?" Maaz asked, exiting the gym. "Thank you for opening the door."

*He smiled warmly as she exited the door. Her okay gave him a feeling that it was meant for more then just his question. He nodded to her question as exited the gym just after her. *
“Yes, that is no problem. I will meet you at the springs after I gather a couple of items. It is only natural to get the door for a lady. I hope you will like the food I bring.”
*He stepped out and started heading towards his berthing room. He looked back over his shoulder after taking a few steps to look at her. She was an interesting lass and he would like to get to know. *
“Maybe…”
*He shook his head at his thoughts before he even let them surface. *

Having nothing else to say, Maaz nodded and made her way to the springs. Jun-Bo was interesting. He readily accepted her challenge to fight and had no problem with joining her at the springs. It was like they were friends. Maaz vaguely wondered what Jun-Bo looked like. She judged him being around her age because of his voice. Also, being that he was a better fighter than she, he grew up with some sort of discipline. He could help her so she wouldn't have to rely on her pyschic arms so much. And then she wouldn't have to run...
