Walking into the gym in his usual light blue colors, Merciah enters the gym only moments after Gloria. He came from the other side and so didn't see the girl when he entered the gym. Which might possibly be for the best due to whom she frightenely resembles.

*Flashback A year before

A girl named Tahara. Went to Manga Highschool for her first year here the same year Merciah came to the United States and enrolled at MHS.

Merciah was a very quiet boy who did best to keep to himself. If he weren't simply doing his studies in the library, he would train in the Meadows just off campus.

During class he never spoke to the other students, and he never volunteered in class. Though he was a clean and well kept student, he just didn't have a very good grasp pf the language, and his social skills suffered due to the fact.

One night he was training after dark and he heard what sounded to be a pack of wolves hunting what sounded like a small animal. While training though, the offal truth as to what was happening passed directly infront of him.

A young girl with dark blonde, perhaps very light brown hair ran by him, chased by what were found to be demonic wolves. Himself seeing the truth Merciah proceeded to help the girl, killing each wolf and helping the girl to the nurses office.

He made a pact with himself that day, to rid the campus grounds and surrounding areas of any presence that threatened the students and to personally be at the girls side at any time of need.

Her name was Shizuku Tahara. She never learned the truth of that night. That her life was almost lost due to what he blamed as his own failure to recognize as a person in danger. Instead of being angered at him like he thought would be certain, she was greatful to him, helping him constantly with his English, and even getting him to open up more.

She took him to his first dance, which was held in the Manga Highschool Auditorium. Later that night, which was the night of New Years, Merciah went to the meadow with her to simply gaze at the stars.

This was the place that Merciah received his first kiss, and found the first girl he had ever liked.

Suddenly sparked by an idea, Shizuku told Merciah to wait right where lay, she had something she wanted to show him. Hopping up she jogged happily around a tree. As Merciah turned, expecting her to appear from the other side of the tree, a sudden thunderous crash was heard from the sky as lightning streaked over Buffalo only minutes away. At the same instant, a bright flash of light surrounded everything Merciah could see.

Merciah woke up to see only sunlight shining down on him. Standing up he looked for Shizuku, and she was nowhere to be found. He talked to the few people he new at the school, and nobody seemed to know anything. Not even the teachers new anything. It was as though she had simply ceased to exist.

Merciah has forever sense blamed himself, that one moment of lapse in which he looked away at the lightning, she dissappeared.

*Back to today

Now Merciah is currently walking through the gym, hoping to do some training for that which he had resigned himself. One vigilint to protect Manga High's students from anything and everything. Un-known to him, a girl that looks identical to Shizuku of his past sits only across the gym from him.

(Sorry it is long, but I figured that could kinda set a mood. Whether serious, or comedic, I'll leave up to you.)

Gloria nodded in response to his words but the strange boys actions wouldnt be forgotten that easily. He acted as if she were a ghost the minute he say her so she couldnt simply disregaurd it. She was way to inquisitive for that, maybe even borderline meddlesome or intrusive in her sisters eyes.

She looked up from Merciah to be greated by another boy, a face she hadnt seen before and gave him the same warm smile everyone recived. She took the extended hand infront of her, shaking it lightly.

"Hello. My name is Gloria Florez...and you are?"

"Wow, my brain just died for a second. OO"~Ami in chat.
