We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Appearance:
Vash is a 6'4", slightly under built dunpeal weighing in at about 158 lbs. He has flowing brown hair that is slightly longer than shoulder length. His face is shadowed by a black wide brimmed hat. Only his mouth and chin can be seen which are a pale white. The only thing that is seen from time to time are his eyes when they flash red with hunger or anger. Vash wears a long black trench coat that matches his hat. It’s even beaten and worn in like the hat. Under the coat he wears a black t-shirt and hides various things like holy symbols, holy water and other useful little trinkets. Also, he wears a pair of black gloves to cover his hands. Black pants and a pair of black boots are his favored pants and footwear. Across his back is his trusty Judgment, a large claymore that is said to contain the soul of his father. The hilt is made of a golden cross that is worn from years of use. He carries it across his back with the strap going across his chest from left to right.
Personality:
Vash is more or less the personal type. He prefers to be talking to someone alone or only a couple people rather than in a large group. If he’s forced to be in such a large group, he tries to make sure the person he’s talking to have his full attention with a full conversation only between them. He likes his space and will get his space back if need be. Though, anyone who can respect this can become very good friends with Vash. The dunpeal always seems brooding, something eating away at his very core. This can sometimes lead people to believe that he’s quite bitter but it is only the contrary. He simply has a lot of responsibilities and his life has led him to believe keeping more personal troubles to himself is the best way to handle them.
There are only four things knows to bring out Vash’s more emotional responses: his family and friends, a good fight, vampires or his past. Vash holds his family very close to his heart, especially his father despite the fact he was a vampire. His father had always crusaded for the weak and vanquished evil instead of becoming dark. Being a dunpeal, he enjoys getting a rush in a good scrap, though he will avoid inferior opponents unless they are doing something criminal. The last thing, vampires, anger Vash to no end. He sometimes may look collected in front of vampires, but deep down in his heart, and in his eyes, it's easy to tell the hatred is surfacing. His past is also a dark one, filled with many terrors that haunt him. The fall of the Soviet regime, Vlad Tepes, and a monopoly over his city are a few examples of the hard times Vash went through. When brought up, he often talks about how 'the streets were filled with blood' or 'the communists began and ended with red'. He also has one quirk that completes his personality. Vash tends to talk to his sword at times of importance. He believes that the energy of his father was embedded in the family sword. Vash nicknamed the sword after his father's nickname, Judgment, because of his father's supposed presence within this sword.
Special Power: Judgement- A sword rumoured to have the soul of Vash’s father inside the blade. This heirloom holds many mysterious powers and is treasured by the hunter. The large claymore is very plain with a square guard and a cross for a hilt. Though quite heavy, a normal person could lift it with some effort but because of Vash's superior strength he can wield it with ease in one hand. Having a weapon with such a large reach and superior strength and speed, Vash created his own technique that sprouted from various stances he used throughout his career as a hunter. He has named this style after his father and the very blade he uses, Judgement.
Soul Reaper- Laying the edge of his blade across his shoulders, the dunpeal outstretches his other hand for balance. This is the most versatile stance in the style. From this he can move into various attacks that reach out far beyond that of most weapons. For those that do reach beyond his own attack radius, counter attacks make for a good way to break past an opponent's guard. Finally, this stance can easily be utilized on the attack, large sweeps and guard breaking being the primary focus.
Divine Cross- A refined and renamed stance that Vash is renowned for, this is primarily used for guarding and counter attacking. The sword is held up in front of the dunpeal, going from their right shoulder to their left knee. The blade is then turned to it's side so the flat is not blocking his view. This allows for a better view of opponents and a faster reaction to attacks. As for the abilities of this stance, it mainly focuses on protection. Moving is impossible, with most blocks and counter attacks relying on sliding his feet across the ground for precision maneuvers. Though an excellent stance to survive in, it offers little in damaging opponents.
Shadow Flayer- Laying the flat of the sword down across his back, Vash can take to the offensive with a brutal combination of sweeping maneuvers. Though it does lack defense, the Shadow Dance stance replaces it with movements that allow for dodging blows rather than blocking them. Speed and strength are the main focus, with some aerial strikes mixed in. As an added bonus, this stance easily converts to an aerial assault stance, usable with Vash's excellent ability to jump around and strike at his foes with skirmish tactics.
Eldritch Blast- Every vampire above a spawn is given a gift from the demonic powers that fuel them. Vash’s gift is control over the shadows around him in the form of a blast or striking aura. When he uses this power, Vash absorbs the shadows from the surrounding area to create a form of energy that he can use. He then can either use it as a blast from his palm that fires outwards in a cone or a beam. The cone extends for 60 feet and the beam can be fired 120 feet.
Cultist Ward- This ability creates a ward around Vash that weakens evil souls and slowly starts to damage them. At first, the target in question is drained of some of its power. At first the target feels drousy, then his body slowly starts to ache and finally some weaker people have been known to vomit. This is spread over around 8-12 seconds. After the target is weakened, the aura then starts to slowly kill the target. A burning feeling, bleeding from the nose, eyes, ears or mouth and even something to the extent of stigmata can appear on the target. Humans that are affected by this do not die, but the evil is simply extracted from them after the torturous experience. Things that are born of evil, like vampires or demons, are completely destroyed. If purely used by itself, it would take 10 minutes or more to destroy a weak demon. This is why it is used only to add an extra sting to every blow Vash deals and to weaken his opponent slowly. The pain it causes is merely to hinder, not to kill on its own. This aura extends 30 feet out from Vash.
Dunpeal’s Strength- Being a dunpeal has its advantages. One of these advantages is having enhanced strength. Vash is much stronger than an average human and can perform feats of strength beyond any normal person.
Dunpeal’s Speed- Being a dunpeal has its advantages. One of these advantages is having enhanced speed. Vash is much faster than an average human and can run at speeds not dreamed of by any normal person.
Regeneration- Because of his vampiric heritage, Vash has the uncanny ability to heal faster than a normal person. Cuts and scrapes only take hours to heal while larger wounds and broken bones may take a few days to weeks. The process is, however, much faster than that of a normal human’s. He also has a greater immune system because of this, recovering from illness much faster.
History:
Vash's life was very hard from the day he was born. He was born into a house of poverty in Walachia. His Romanian heritage obviously was part of his poverty, but also his parents, Upir "Judgment" Hellsinger and Emily Hellsinger were both travelers stuck in a town because of their new son. This wasn't as bad as it may seem, because Upir was a vampire hunter, and what better place than the home of Vlad the Impaler himself, and also just north of Transylvania, the haunting grounds of many denizens. Emily, coming from America and not knowing much of Romania, was very much the typical housewife. When Vash was around six years old, his village was attacked by a vampire by the name of Vlad Tepes and his army. The vampires burned down the village completely and slaughtered his father for being enemies of his soon to be empire.
After that, Vash was taken away from his mother and raised to be one of Vlad's elite soldiers. He was trained day in and day out. The one thing Vlad didn't know was that Vash was a dunpeal. When Vlad finally figured this out, he threw Vash out onto the streets. Vash then wandered the world, training himself to become a strong warrior like his father. He traveled the world, fighting evil and helping the weak, trying to become strong enough to avenge his parents and his village. After wandering for most of his life, Vash has made it to America, where he planed to train and become strong enough to defeat his mortal enemy Vlad Tepes. This ended in a stalemate between the two and Vash was forced to flee back to Romania after a brief period at Manga High School.
During his short period in Romania, Vash once again was forced to deal his hand against the vampire lord. Unfortunately, it was not directly with him. A plot to infiltrate the Hunter’s Guild was finally unmasked when Grimlock was found out by the Vash. The ensuing fight tore the guild apart and forced his former blood brothers to hunt the teen slayer down. Vash was devastated, but his instinct to survive and his hatred for Vlad kept him going. After months of defending himself, Vash was left with only his two most trusted blood brothers, Buckshot and Shadowfang, at the end wrong end of his father’s sword. Twisted inside from the experiences, he sought redemption but found very little comfort. The days of mourning that followed left a need to return to his friends in America. He longed for their companionship and decided to risk seeing them once more. After many weeks of travel, Vash finally made it back to the doors of Manga High, his final showdown with Lord Tepes drawing closer than ever…
ROLE-PLAYING POST:
Vash shifted his eyes from side to side, scanning his new surroundings. It was about elven o'clock at night and the airport was still bustling with the sounds of joyous reunions of friends and the loving words of families. His eyes never stopped moving as he slowly walked past the gate to get his luggage. At the carousel, there he found who he was looking for. She was about 5'6" and very beautiful, despite her age. She had flowing blond hair and wide blue eyes that were fixated on Vash. She was very slender and had a very authoritative and business like stature, but almost as she saw Vash, she burst into tears.
"Vash...my poor baby boy" she exclaimed as she ran up to him and embraced her son.
Vash said nothing as he was a man of few words and just hugged his mother in return. He felt very warm inside when he hugged his mother for the first time in a decade and a rare treat presented itself to Vash's mother, a smile on his face. After assembling Vash's belongings, the two made their way out of the airport and into a car. Even if this reunion was for the drive to his new school, he was glad of it, and knew his mother understood how he felt despite the lack of words.
As they pulled out of the parking lot, Vash sorted through his thoughts. The lights shone over him like giant fireflies, buzzing their own hypnotic tune. He could feel a calmness of the scene, his mother continuing to smile as she stayed silent. Despite being separated for so long, the two still had a silent understanding between one another. When they reached the school they got Vash's things out of the car. He watched his mom take her seat back behind the wheel of the car and leave him again. He didn't want her to leave, but he couldn't stay with his mother and still attend either. Just as she was about to leave, Vash stopped the car. Rolling down the window, his mother looked puzzled, but she soon found a smile and more tears of joy as her son looked straight at her and simply said "I love you mother..."

Okay, that works better. Cultist ward still needs a few things. Saying that vampires and demons and such are expelled or fully destroyed. That would half to be after a certain amount of time. If for example they remained in the circle I could understand, but as of now, it still not being very powerful, I say have it so that it is more harmfull to such things. Rather then outright destruction. How you want the things to be harmed I'll let you do, as I don't want to be the one making the power. It is your power after all.
This is where I put more of my random thoughts. :)
Has everyone heard, there have been attacks in the forest. More and more students are showing up in Mrs Hanabishi's ward by the day. What's going on. It's the talk of the school.
