Vengeance is Mine, Sayeth the Lord
There is a Christian expression that says, "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord". Retribution, although accepted in Islam and prescribed by Allah, it also comes with a preferred method of dealing with one's anger and need for retribution - forgiveness and acceptance. Someone must be the first to stand up and say enough of the cycle of violence and forgives and forgets. When that happens, let us all pray the other side will do likewise.
