We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Vicarious Rose (Open)
A winged figure in a dark dress, with shimmering copper blond hair had been sitting in front a mass of flowers. A parasol rested along her shoulder, giving her flower-haped shade. Once in a while, the young girl would reach out and stroke the soft petals. With fall coming, it would be soon time where the flowers would whither. For Amber it was never a death but a dormant state until life-giving spring would return and the flowers would bloom again.
Life, death and rebirth...
A graceful being among the flowers, humming the dulcet tune of "Ave Maria" while musing so many thoughts to herself. This had to be one of the most peaceful places next to the waterfall and less windy than the rooftop. There she could inspect the blooming flowers and lose herself in their hypnotic colors.
"Great I had found myself in the garden again." Hisoka said as he was getting annoyed. Hisoka looked like a pretty much lonely sick kid but little did anyone know he always looked like that. He had green eyes and sandy blond hair. He looked at the flowers by his feet and kicked them mainly because he was annoyed.
The flowers' petals or different colors that flew and danced around him in the air struck something in his mind. He put his hand to his head and when he closed his eyes he could see flower petals swrilling and dancing around him but he wasn't paying attention to them. Hisoka tried to remember more but that was all he could remember.
"Crap!" He said as he went down to his knees and placed his left hand on the ground while he still had his right hand on his forehead. Where had I last seen flower petals that did that? He thought to himself. "Errr why can't I remember! ERRR!" Hisoka yelled out as he made a fist with his right hand and pounded it on the ground as hard as he could.

"Try not to think about it. It'll come to you." Said the gentle voice, answering his frustrastion.
Amber didn't have the need to look at him at the moment, continuing to take in the colors of the flowers, occasionally plucking weeds whenever her idle hands felt the need to. Merciah had kept the garden tidy, there was no need to do all that much after all.
Finally she would glance over her shoulder at the boy, who probably did not realize she had been there listening to his annoyances. He was quite pale, she noticed first, and for a moment she couldn't help to wonder if he was all right. She also realized he had a bit of a temper.
"Try not to kick the flowers." The winged girl said with the most calming smile. "There are other ways to vent."

Hisoka stopped and he thought the voice came from his own head until he saw a winged girl there. HE started to blush. This was mainly because he had no idea someone else was here.

The winged girl said this with a smile. There were stranger things in this world, never to be understood easily unless one has walked that path. Amber took care in shifting her body to face him, smoothing her dress out so that it cascades over her legs and spill over the grass. She folded her hands in her lap and stared at him with her dark eyes.

"Really? Then why don't you tell -- oh." He said as he looked at the winged girl. Hisoka's tone had started off as harsh but by the time he reached the last word his tone was slightly more nicer. He looked at Amber and didn't realize he was staring until he shook his head.
"Something frustrates you, ne?"
Hisoka didn't say a word. He looked down at the flowers. Some were missing a few petals. "Yeah." He said in a slightly low voice. "I don't know why but the flower petals triggered an image." Hisoka said. "I guess I ended up more annoyed at the fact that of all the things I tried who would have thought flower petals would trigger a small image of my lost memories of ... that night." Hisoka said. He dug his fingers into the dirt as he formed his hands into fists.

The winged girl tilted her head curiously as she considered what he was talking about, not minding the fluctuations of harsh tones the young man would give her. She knew very well the link between images as triggers for repressed memories, or otherwise. After all, Amber had a few encounters herself, so it seemed she could sympathize.
"I assume this night you're talking about isn't one of pleasent memory."
Her fingers played with a crystalline object clasped around her left wrist.
"There's a link between imagery and a memory is so thinned, so tucked away that it's building frustration. However, succumbing to the frustration will not allow a memory to surface. The mind and body have to be relaxed."
She gave him a kind smile. A part of her wanted to know more about this night the young man was speaking about, but she knew better than to ask directly. If she couldn't remember certain days or spans of time, he may not know any of his as well.
"At least, that's how I come to remember things my mind has blocked. It's inconvineint."

"It isn't that easy." Hisoka said. He was deciding to try and keep his calm voice. "How can a person who five years ago couldn't sleep one night and decide to go for a walk and suddenly wake up at his house with no memory of getting back home? And on top of that end up with an unknown terminal illness that killed him slowly over three years time?" Hisoka asked.
He had without knowing it admitted that he died two years ago. His mind had been caught up in being confused and now stuck with an image of flower petals that he didn't catch himself at all. "And while I was in the hospital I over heard that the same night I came down with this illness my mother, father, and brother were murdered just six blocks from my house." He added.
"Not that they were the best family in the world or anything like that. They hated, feared, and was embarrassed of having me for a son and brother for as long as I could remember." Hisoka said. "But still my family's murder and my not remembering how I woke up in front of my own house and suddenly becoming terminally ill is all to much and it can't be a coincidence." Hisoka said.
It was then that he realized what he had said. "Crap I did it again." Hisoka said He felt like kicking himself or at least putting both his feet so far into his mouth that his lips would be touching his knees. "I am Hisoka Kurosaki. I'm a Shinigami." Hisoka said.

Amber's dark eyes stared up in surprise at the self-proclaimed shinigami. It wasn't more startled by what he was, she knew exactly what a shinigami was. It was more of the ease that he could tell her something like that. Maybe it was the flowers that finally triggered his memory, triggered him to tell her so much about himself. It was the same as what the sight of blood does to her, she figured.
Don't think about that now...
Amber listened however, her expression never wavering into fear once. People carried many kinds of burdens, she had come to understand this meeting with many students at MHS. Once he was finished and astounded by what he had told her, she gave him a gentle smile.
"Nice to meet you, shinigami. I am Amber Ramius. I am a nephilim."
It was something she hated to admit, but maybe it would make him feel better. She placed a finger to her lips.

Hisoka smiled at Amber. "You can just call me Hisoka and I will just call you Amber." He said. Hisoka then ran his fingers through his sandy blonde hair. "You know. I can't help but to think that my loss of memory so long ago, the two missing dead bodies of the people I accidentally ... killed, and now the flower petals that I can picthure in my mind is all connected." Hisoka said.
"I can't help but to think that it is leading me to something or possinly someone." Hisoka added. "Could I be wrong to think that Amber?" Hisoka asked. Normally he would keep this stuff to himself. However, he somehow felt that it was easier to just say it rather then keep it to himself.

The winged girl's expression was grave, for she had realized how lucky he was to have only killed so few. Being a shinigami, it came natural to him. Too bad it wasn't so simple for her. Amber may have envied him maybe, just for a moment. He had a direction at least...
"It wouldn't be the strangest thing to occur in a person's life, Hisoka." She said, another smile crossing her face. She fiddled around with the pendulum on her wrist, wondering if Djibril would be able to find something like a missing memory. Finding energy was one thing she could do...but memories?

The girl may have been a little confused by the sudden change in the conversation, but it may hav been necessary. Connections come up on their own, something that could not be rushed. She hoped the shinigami would find his missing connection, just as she hoped to find hers.
We all carry burdens...
"Well...I make dresses, create custom dolls, and I practice Tai Chi in the forest sometimes. Nothing too interesting I'm afraid. You?"

Daedelus entered the garden. he was wearing his usual attire of full black clothing, with a hood covering his face, and having a pair of black gloves on his hands. He then noticed a winged girl, and another person tallking, hearin the persons previous remark, and the winged girls comment, he then responded as well. With him, he had his gold dragon Longsword in its sheath on his belt.
"I practice my swordsmanship, read comic books, and spar. Nothing to interesting that i like to do either. I am daedelus anon, and you are?"
He asked the winged girl, he then smiled from beneath his hood.

Hisoka was about to answer Amber when someone else spoke. Hisoka jumped. He didn't like being startled. Of course had his thoughts have not been so scrambled he wouldn't have been startled. "Man careful!" Hisoka said. "Had my power been over sensitive I probably would have ended up hurting someone by accident." Hisoka said. His tone was different from before.
He placed a hand to his head. I need to just calm down. He didn't know he startled me. So I need to calm down. Hisoka thought to himself. He put his hand down and looked at the flowers. He didn't want to face any one's eyes right now. At least not after the way he just spoke. "Sorry." Hisoka said.
His tone was back to being a calm and almost gentle. "I don't really know what I like to do." Hisoka said. "But so far I don't like having to wear school uniforms." Hisoka added. "Hisoka then looked up. "Daedelus huh?" Hisoka said. "Well, I am Hisoka Kurosaki." Hisoka said. "Maybe sometime we should test your skill since I used to be a sword welder." Hisoka added.

Amber had been just as startled as Hisoka has been, but she knew how to keep it from showing entirely. Poor Hisoka was easily startled, but she supposed it was all in good reason. Looking at the newcomer, Amber realized she had seen Daedelus a few times on campus, but never it had occured to her to converse with him. She had been having her own troubles after all...
But she bowed her head politely at him, as she would with anyone.

Hisoka did not like being ignored being as he basically was when he was a live. "Did you not notice that I am here?" He yelled. "Or are you to much in love with my friend here to notice me?" Amber didn't return the shake of Daedelus's hand and instead bowed her head in respect towards him. It wasn't meant to seem rude, she was merely raised with a multitude of cultural gestures.
Poor Hisoka seemed to have been ignored (ah but she hoped it wasn't pangs of love eminating from the newcomer...) in the meeting process and so she turned her attention to him again.

"Well, my family use to teach that and I was learning how when I was 13 years old." Hisoka said. with a smirk. "But unfortunately nearly two months later I ended up with a strange illness on the same night that my family was murdered. But I don't even remember that night at all." He said.
"But those flower petals did trigger something." Hisoka said. "But getting off subject here." Hisoka said. "How about you Amber?" Hisoka asked.

The flowers...the flowers triggered something in his memories yet they faded away as quickly as a fading dream. How frustrating, Amber thought to herself, not knowing what had happened between increments of lost time. Especially when it involves the deaths of loved ones. Her dark eyes scanned over the roses; white, red, pink and "sunset" (yellow with reddish tips).
Maybe...I can help.
"I understand...it must be frustrating, ne? I wonder..."
She began to pluck a petals from each of the roses. Hopefully Merciah wouldn't mind, especially if it's to help another student. It may not recover his entire memory, but maybe she could find what exactly was the trigger among the flowers.
"Hold these and look over them one by one. If you start to feel anything, let me know."
