Video from Camera, Transfer to HDD
So I got recruited to figure out how to transfer a video that's on a cassette tape in a digital camera to my hard drive so I can burn it on a DVD by tonight. The camera is a Panasonic and I'm running WinXP.
I've got the camera hooked up, and I can watch the video without sound on my computer, but I can't see any options to export it off the camera. There's no memory card in the camera, which I think would solve the problem since I know I can copy from that.
Any help would be appreciated, especially since I'm workin on a tight deadline...thanks in advance.

Can you use a desktop capture like " frapps" and is there any way you can plug your cam into the sound card to deliver audio. May need to edit the two together with something like a trial version of Adobe premiere or someting..

If it's connected through firewall or USB2.0 you should just be able to use windows movie maker that comes included with windows XP.
