We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Eric had only just recently arrived on the campus. He was told that all of his paper-work would be in order, so he didn't have to worry about that. He was glad that had been so simple, though he wasn't entirely glad of everything he had to go through to attend the school. He was here now though, and he though he might as well take a look around the place before he got settled in. He opened the doors to the gym, wondering why they needed as big a building as they did, though he had no complaints if that ment they had plenty of good training equipment.
And so he stepped in and began to look around, his hair and trench coat flowing slightly behind him and a dufflebag hanging from his left shoulder.

"What is firmly established cannot be uprooted." Whispered a gentle voice. "What is firmly grasped cannot slip away..."
The glint of a sword gracefully moving to an tune unheard. A girl with copper-blond hair, with pristine white wings, her athletic clothes all in black with few traces of white lace along the collar. She was practicing the graceful movements of Tai Chi. Quick movements that flow like water but retained a certain speed: she was mindful of her breath, her movements and her concentration all at the same time. It is unknown how long she had been there working on her movements.
"Flow like water...mindful of breath; 1,2,3...and done."
Amber would drop onto the mat to rest, setting the sword next to her. It was as close as she had come to being on par with her own movements; getting better, she thought happily.
And then her dark eyes would briefly gaze over at a new face entering the gym. A young, unfamiliar man in a trenchcoat carrying a duffel bag. The winged girl tilted her head in a curious manner, there had been a lot of new people on campus lately.

Eric blinked and looked again. Yes, this girl did have wings on her back. It wasn't something he hadn't seen before, but he hadn't noticed such irregularities on anyone outside of the school. Maybe he hadn't looked hard enough before.
He saw her look at him, and he gave a wave. "Hey there, nice form," he spoke, his eyes taking a quick glance about the room before centering back on her.

Amber didn't answer immediately, her shyness got the better of her. Besides, she had to be mindful of what she says to new people; it was bad enough her wings made her stand out. After a momentary silence from her, the winged girl smiled and make the "okay" gesture with her hand.
"Could be better, but I'm getting there."
The girl speaks in a gentle manner, feather-soft and comforting like her own wings. She stands up, her hand taking up the sword: an unconcious motion. The week or so had been hell on both girl and sword and in an effort to cleanse it from tainted acts, she gained much more control over her movements.
But what was the price...?
"You have an unfamiliar face," she says, slipping the sword into its laquer and gold printed sheath. She then bowed her head to him.

Eric smiled and returned her bow with a bow at his waist. "I'm Eric, and I've just recently arrived here," he spoke in a friendly voice, "I thought I'd take a look around the place before I got settled in. So what's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

"I...wonder that myself." Her finger touched her cheek, thoughtful manner. "I'm usually out in the forest or near the waterfall doing this. A change of pace maybe."
Her dark eyes caught his, maybe because something surprised her. Dark blue, yes his eyes were the most interesting dark blue! Her heart ached for a moment, remembering her own eyes before the eventual change and before the emergence of her cursed heritage...
Amber realized she may have been staring and bowed her head again.
"Ah, sorry. I like your eyes, Eric...though you should be a little more careful with yourself."
Where that last part came from, she wouldn't have the answer to. Whether she could read eyes or not, it seemed to be good advice for him. Now for the change of conversation:
"When you get the chance to, you should take a walk through the forest or see the waterfall sometime. It's really quite a sight and there are very few people there when you need a moment alone."

Eric gave a big smirk. "Well, thanks. And I'm plenty careful, or at least careful enough."
He didn't know why she felt like giving him advice. It was nice of her to tell him about the waterfall. "Sounds like a nice spot. Maybe you can take me out there to see it sometime. It might be a nice place to watch alone, but I find such things are better when having someone to share with."

The last part of his sentence granted him another stare from Amber. He wasn't wary about being around her? What an odd person, she thought to herself, but he spoke kind words. Amber bowed her head again, contemplating his words.
"You don't...mind being around me?" She said so softly, almost in a mumble.
If it wasn't paranoia, she wasn't sure what it was that made her say that. Some humans were very in tune with energies and auras; hers would probably be pulsating black and white.
But he's talking to you...and it's not like...
Amber lifted her head up and her expression was bright and cheerful.
"I very well could do that sometime. It's the safe place, at least I always called it that."

Eric blinked as she stared at him. Had he said something wrong? She mumbled something, but Eric didn't catch what it was. Then she was looking at him with a much brighter expression. Eric returned her expression with a big smile. "Well, it's a date then," he said rather smugly.
He hadn't been here long and already he was making a date. His smile got bigger.

"Eh? Date?"
The term made her nervous of course; she was typically reserved about calling an outing something like that. That and she wasn't sure what kind of person Eric was...Not to be distrusting, but she had to be cautious.
"Ah, nothing like that. We've only just met, so I'd consider it more of an exploration."
She held up her finger as she realized something.
"Oh, and the weight rooms are that way." She thumbed behind her. "Most guys seem to go there...if that's what you were looking for."
