As a Christian, before reverting to the truth of Islam, I was often confused by the contradictory statements of the bible verses those of the church. For instance, it is clear from reading the Bible that the disciples were armed and that Jesus had encouraged them to arm themselves. Yet the church tells us that Jesus was a peace loving man that would "turn the other cheek". Does anyone besides me see the contradiction?
