Watermelon waffle tire-iron. And I suppose Keyair too.(open)
[I realised that this isn't the inside of the quad exactly but I had no idea where to put this so I chose here.]

A cold winter day was hardly a day for people to be outside, of course the children playing with the snow were indeed outside although they were wrapped up in protective layers of clothing by their mothers and sent to the safety of the fields and play parks away from the dangerous roads. Those who were not enjoying their time were at work and so this left the streets quite empty with the exception of those walking about the road to go to wherever they were supposed to go to. These were the people who tilted their heads and gave a confused stare at the boy dragging two suitcases towards the less than normal school. The boy had dark brown tanned skin that really showed him up in the snow although this was not all that showed the child up. His hair was puffed outwards to form a large green Afro where a small red flat cap sat on top, not touching his head at all rather just coating the top layer of his hair. His arms were exposed bare as all he wore was a purple T-Shirt as well as a pair of cut off blue jeans that had been stitched into shorts. On his feet a pair of sandals that were now dragging snow along with his feet.

Although the cold air froze his breath causing small clouds of frozen water vapour to rise upwards after each breath outwards he looked quite content and warm. How this was even possible was confusing to even the greatest mind, as any normal boy would have complained immensely due to the cold he must have been feeling. Keyair did in fact feel incredibly cold however he figured that since it was winter he should wear what was expected of the season and had unfortunately got summer and winter mixed up while he was getting changed. Keyair didn’t notice this though; in fact while he dragged his suitcases towards the school he wondered why all the weird people that were staring at him with such odd ex-pressions were wearing the totally wrong clothes for the season. Keyair shrugged this off though and carried on walking towards the school although he made very slow progress. His suitcases dug into the ground as he dragged on them, he appeared to be having a lot of difficulty walking towards the school due to what seemed to be the massive weight that these suitcases were.

“All be it! Your unprecedented volume is not socially excepted.” Keyair rambled on to himself as he tried to take his mind off of the weight of the suitcases, he released them and stood upwards, hitting one with his cane, which until this point had been tucked underneath his arm. “Learn faster and give me a smile madam. No not you kind Sir you have my seal of approval. Repeat after me, the rain in Spain falls mainly on the roofs of the poor.”

Keyair whipped his cane back underneath his arm and grabbed onto the suitcases firmly with both hands, he began dragging them along the ground like before. Keyair did seem to be having a lot of difficulty doing this and yet his facial ex-pression didn’t show it, merely the fact that he was moving about so much to try and pull the suitcases across the ground.

“...By George. I think she’s got it, I think she’s got it.” He added on, inching the suitcases past the school gates although still with a massive distance to get to the school entrance itself, “If I were a chinchilla I’d dine solely on turnips.”

Abby skipped along the sidewalk without saying a word. The only sound that could be heard was the occasional tingle from the bell on the cat collar she was wearing. Like always, the present was around her neck. It was a gift from her 'big sister' and Abby loved it. She moved through the streets, now humming whatever came into her head.

The amber eyed youngster dressed in her usual splash of colour. Her shirt was rainbow coloured, the sleeves were fluro orange and they reached down to her elbows. She wore the usual black tights, and a fluro yellow skirt over it. Her leg warmers were neon green and pink checkered, and her shoes were bright blue. On her head was a bright yellow hard hat that was on backwards. It shielded her messy blonde hair from anything falling directly above her.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw a man that seemed to stick out of the crowd much like she did, but for different reasons. Abby decided this was a mission. She ducked behind a nearby post box and held her hand to her mouth. " This is special agent Triple A. I can see him and am now in pursuit of the criminal. Triple A, out!" She whispered to herself.

Abby began to follow him, ducking behind things every so often and making small notes about him to... well... herself. She ducked behind a rubbish bin when he stopped and listened into what he said. Bringing her hand up to her mouth, Abby began to whisper to herself again. " Suspect is on the move again, I'm taking him out!" She turned on her spot quickly. " No don't do it Triple A, it's dangerous." She replied, deepening her voice when she spoke. Abby moved back to her normal position again. " I have to, it's my duty. If I don't make it, tell my dog I said.... hello. Then give it a treat and pet it... Then take it out for a walk because it might need to pee. Cause I don't want pee on my carpet." She explained.

Rolling out from behind the bin, Abby began running towards the stranger. She quickly latched onto one of his suitcases, clinging to it as if for dear life. " Freeze sucka! I got you pegged!" She called, looking up at him. Abby held out one hand as if it was a gun and pointed it to him.

Not seeing whoever had recently grabbed hold on his suitcase Keyair tried to continue to walk forwards even as he heard the person yell out, his name wasn’t sucka so therefore whoever it was must not have been talking to him. However now that his suitcases couldn’t move and he was still trying a problem occurred. Keyair fell ridiculously slowly forwards onto his face, his arms coming off without any difficulty and sticking upwards into the air still attached to the suitcases he had been holding previously. He remained on the ground for a while, not saying anything at all or in fact even moving while he left his plastic mannequin arms staying in a more or less ridged position in the air. Finally after a few seconds he rose upwards to his feet quickly, taking about a second to do this compared to his slow actions previously, he was smiling happily at the sight of the new person holding onto his suitcase.

“Interruptions! Dangerous pet playing with foundational equipment!” He said, mistaking the girl for a pet due to the collar on her neck, “I would rather have parsnips they are more subtle in action.”

Keyair moved the stumps of his arms onto the mannequin arms and at that they released the suitcases, twisted around, and rejoined his arms in a more or less perfect fit. They moved as if they were his own and were a matted brown much like his own skin colour, only the small difference between hard plastic and soft skin could be noticed and even then it would have taken a lot to guess without knowing otherwise. Keyair moved his ‘arms’ about in the air around him and stretched. He then reached into his pocket and began reaching for something.

“Cute little pet human Jason has a reward for you.” He said as he pulled out a dry cream cracker and held it up in front of her face, “A butternut cookie, eat it fast or you shall contract copper piping. Disease!”

Abby watched as his arms became disconnected. But then suddenly they were back on again and he was offering her something. Jumping up, Abby stood on his suitcase and balanced on it. She scooped up the treat he offered her and studied it. " Hmmm..." She commented, staring it down. It seemed that his little arm problem hadn't phased her at all.

She tucked the cracker away into her skirt pocket for 'further investigation.' Abby brought up her hands, pointing her index fingers and her thumbs out like a gun and pointing to him. " I caught you now! You can't run from me!" She explained. A serious look was on the amber eyed youngster's face when as she stared him down for a moment. Then suddenly, as if out of no where, she began to laugh.

Reaching back, Abby flicked the bell on her collar. He was so weird, and Abby loved weird! Just like when she met those two alien girls on the roof. Weirdness seemed to be quite common at Manga High, but none seemed to compare to her. " You have bags here! Where are you going to? Trying to run out on a mission soldier?" She asked him.

Keyair scowled and glared back at her when she took his cracker, he had said that he had a cookie for her not a cracker so she shouldn’t have taken the cracker that he just so happened to be holding out in the open. He then realised what cracker was he talking about? He could see no cracker. So therefore everything must have been all inside his head and he was making up such a cracker ever existing. He stared up the length of her arm, staring at her face while holding onto his cane tightly, tapping it against the side of his leg. When she tapped her collar he jumped up and landed on the second suitcase, holding his leg upwards into the air and shielding his face with his arms. He stared down at the snow in shock and fear for some profound reason.

“We get on top of the high ground!” He said, “The snow is made of acid? Acid is made of tar and furniture polish, it burns! Tasty burning I call it giddy.”

Keyair put his leg down onto the suitcase and held his tongue out into the air to allow some snow to fall on top. It melted and he licked it up, smiling happily and rubbing his stomach afterwards. Of course snow didn’t really taste anything like how he descried it to have tasted, he had just convinced himself otherwise through rather odd methods. Keyair had heard her question previously but to him he wasn’t allowed to answer it yet, not until he rang the bell on her collar. She had done so before when she talked so to Keyair ringing the bell signified talking in that conversation. He reached forwards and rang the bell on her collar before he allowed himself to answer.

“Large school will keep many happy he wishes to cleanse it of its asbestos!” He replied enthusiastically, “Here are my papers now don’t shoot me officer pet!”

Keyair held up a sheet of paper in the air as he shielded his face with his arm and held his leg up into the air. A second later he was gone, leaving the paper floating around in the air where it had been previously, slowly drifting towards the floor. On it was the written document of his transfer to the school from his previous school in Orlando. Keyair however had seemed to have forgotten completely about it and was on the snow on his back, making snow angels with a very serious ex-pression.

“I make the angels of the snow, but they are not really angels...” He said, “If you must see the fruits of my labour they will be ready in a matter of defrosting.”

Large school will keep many happy he wishes to cleanse it of its asbestos!...Here are my papers now dont shoot me officer pet!

Abby looked at him with a smile. He called her pet! Sakura always called her pet, and so his words reminded her of her sister. When the paper began to float in the wind, Abby grabbed it with both of her hands and read over it. She then looked over at him and pointed, a wide smile appearing on the young girl's face as she jumped up and down between the suitcases, pointing at the sheet. " You! You're going to my school! My school! The school that I go to!!" She explained, an overly excited sound in her voice.

I make the angels of the snow, but they are not really angels......If you must see the fruits of my labour they will be ready in a matter of defrosting.

" You're makins snow angels!!!" Abby squealed, jumping up from the suitcase and landing on the ground behind it. Thinking about angels reminded her of Angel Lady! The girl that she met when she first got here. " I'm friends with an angel!" She explained. Abby knelt down and crawled over to him. She sat down beside him and picked up some snow, rolling it into two balls and placing one on the other one. " Look! A snowman!" She said, pointing to it and smiling.

Even though he was being spoken to Keyair didn’t stop making snow angels when the girl started talking to him, he wanted to finish his work quickly. All work needed to be finished and if he didn’t then he would be fired, Keyair didn’t like the word fired it reminded him too much of fire and Keyair didn’t like fire. He hurried up in his snow angel making and sat upright, hopping out of the hole he had made in the snow to reveal the image of a train created perfectly in the snow where he had been moving. He smiled and nodded towards the snow train he had made though all of a sudden he jolted in shock and kicked the snow back over again, covering the image he had just recently made. His attention then turned to the small snowman she had just made, she had also previously said that she was friends with an angel and so there was only one connection he could make.

“The angels are made of snow!” He said in shock, “They shall melt come winter!”

Keyair sat upright and hurried over to his suitcases, grabbing one of the handles and tugging it although only making about an inch across the ground before giving up and sitting down on the ground. He bundled as much snow as he could possibly carry and held it tight against his body and took a step forwards however the weight caused him to trip and fall onto the ground causing a shower of snow to fly upwards into the air and cover him completely. He was left with only his flat cap on top of the pile and his leg sticking outwards. A few seconds later however Keyair sat down next to the girl and placed his chin on her shoulder to stare out over to the pile that looked as if he were underneath it.

“Tada!” He said excitedly, “And for my next trick pick a card any card!”

Keyair jumped back a bit so that he was now in front of the girl, using his cane for a new leg while he wasn’t attached to the one that was half underneath the snow. He held out a pack of cards from his pocket and began shuffling them in front of her so that she might pick one out at random.

Abby watched as he got up. It wasn't an angel, that was for sure, but it was a train instead. " Wow, you made a train! How did you do that?" She asked, leaning over to look at it. But then he kicked it and ruined the picture. Standing up, Abby looked at him strangely. It was such a pretty train, why would he want to ruin it? " Why would you do that to your train?" She asked, a confused sound in her voice.

The angels are made of snow!...They shall melt come winter!

Abby let out a rather childish giggle. The train thought was gone suddenly. " No she's a person! So she won't melt... at least I think she wont..." She explained. Abby then began to wonder if Angel Lady could somehow melt. That wouldn't be that much fun, but then again melting people never was. It would probably hurt! Abby shook her head furiously, getting rid of the strange thoughts that occurred in her head.

Continued to shuffle the cards for a while however all of a sudden one flicked outwards and hit him in the eye. Keyair stood up and started to wave his hand around in the air while he used his cane to walk without his leg, clearly in a lot of pain due to what had happened to him. Either the card had given him a paper cut or it was stuck inside his eye, seeing as it wasn’t coming out of his socket no matter how much he shook his head about.

“There is card in my eye!” He screamed, all of a sudden the entire thing burst into flames leaving Keyair running around in circles, “And now the card is on fire!”

Keyair stopped the pulled the card out of his eye, throwing it onto the floor where it hit the snow and stopped burning. The face of which instead of a picture card of a king or jack had a strange picture of Keyair in the form of a picture card, each smiling face making a thumbs up gesture. Keyair used his cane to walk himself over to his false leg, picking it up off of the floor and slotting it against the stump of his missing limb. He stretched afterwards, swinging his cane underneath his arm.

“My my my music is, so hard makes me say oh my lord.” He said proudly, reaching down with both arms and struggling to carry the singular case, “Thank you for blessing me with a mind to rhyme and do my thing.”

Keyair struggled with the suitcase, he tugged on it and heaved a massive amount however nothing would cause the thing to move. He ended up slipping over on the snow and landed on his back, sitting up afterwards now with an afro covered in white snow. He shivered and turned over towards the girl he had been speaking to previously.

“Could you please help me it’s hard to carry things when I don’t have any arms or legs.” He said in a surprisingly serious tone, “Waffle waffle queen bee flying through the sky.”

Well so much for that stroke of serious behaviour.

“There is card in my eye!”...“And now the card is on fire!”

Looking up from her tiny snowman, Abby looked at the card in his eye. She pointed and laughed. " Wow, that's a cool trick!" She commented. Then it even caught on fire! Amber eyes filled with excitement as she watched him move around quickly, then finally throw the card into the snow. " Hey, did that hurt getting a card in your eye? I bet you were tricking!" Abby explained.

“Could you please help me it’s hard to carry things when I don’t have any arms or legs.”...“Waffle waffle queen bee flying through the sky.”

When he asked for help, Abby shot up from her sitting position and looked to his bags. Everything that had just happened, with the flaming card in his eye, was completely out of her head now. She was going to help! Abby walked over to one of the suitcases, gripping the handle with two hands. She lifted it and spun in an awkward circle once due to the weight.

With the suitcase now resting on her back, Abby held onto it over her shoulder. She turned back to look at the stranger. " It's this way, I'll show you!" She shouted happily. Looking forwards once more, Abby grinned before taking off quickly towards the school. The tiny speed demon ran as fast as she could, before stopping and turning back to look at Keyair once more.

Now being able to hold onto the suitcase with both hands Keyair was able to lift the suitcase upwards, however one of his arms slowly drooped downwards after this point forcing for him to grab at it and push it back against the stump of his missing limb. He swung the suitcase around to mimic the girl before flicking it upwards onto his back, although he buckled under its weight and dropped to his knees. Keyair then slowly stood upwards, had the girl been paying attention to his legs she could see that they were bending due to the suitcases weight. He ran towards the school after her, hopping up and down from time to time, he ended up slipping on the ice however and toppling head over heals. He landed on his back on top of the suitcase, which slid across the ice like a sledge, slipping right past Abby and crashing against the steps of the school entrance with a loud crash and a scatter of plastic limbs.

Keyair was at the bottom of the steps with only one leg now, one of his arms was next to him while his second arm was on the top of the steps. His leg was in the middle of the steps. Keyair seemed to have totally lost his legs even past his knee, the mannequin legs replaced his knee, shin, feet and almost up to the hip, leaving Keyair with about six inches of leg remaining. He sat up and shook his head from side to side, looking at all his scattered limbs laying around the area before grinning. He lifted the stump of his arm up to the arm closest to him, the mannequin arm turned around by itself and shot up his sleeve to reattach before turning one hundred and eighty degrees with a click. He then grabbed his cane and used it to lift himself up again so he could look at his leg on the steps and his arm at the top of the steps next to his suitcase.

“Where is the disabled ramp!?” Keyair yelled in fright, “I must have access to a disabled ramp!”

Keyair began to pace up and down, staring at the five steps as if they were a gigantic mountain with absolutely no possible method of climbing.
