We spilled Renux's blood all over Steamfont
Myself,56 Wizzy,55 Necro,53 Druid and a 58 Beastlord beat Renux down......We did have 1 casualty however and it was due to LAG of all things....The Drood was aggro kiting renux while pets galore were following her attacking (With Taunt off) And all the sudden the Drood stops after some nice kiting...Im like WTF? And next thing I know hes spinning in circles and his health bar drops like a bad habit and then she proceeds to kill off all the pets and by this time the Necro takes over (Im like holy crap, Jendar Starpyre just ate my book and parchment)...So now the Necro takes over and finishes the kiting off (Theres no telling how many DoT's she had on her)....The Necro killed her Via a Lifetap at the end with Wizzy nukes ontop of that....Wierdest thing though....Ive been hearing rumors of her healing herself once shes down to 20%...She never did...She dropped the Skean...2 Ravenscale Belts and of course the all Important Rogue epic items =-) and a pretty good chunk of plat...She dropped like 138pp

I took her down last night with a 54 druid, 49 bard, 51 necro and 37 bard (what the heck, she had fun). But it wasn't that simple... (It's a long story, but somewhat entertaining and this is By The Fireplace...)
We planned to have the druid snare and kite her while the bards, necro pet and I beat on her and the necro dotted her, with bard song supplementing us and damaging her. The only problem was she resisted the druid's snare and the druid wasn't far enough ahead of her to get out of melee range and try it again. The druid went down in about 3 seconds.
So, Renux turns on me and I'm thinking, "I can't tank Renux; hope the necro can fear her or something, or the bards can get her kiting before I'm dead..." Got that thought out when I hit 20 percent, hoping the others might be able to finish her, but knowing it was not going to happen. LOADING, PLEASE WAIT....
Necro and 49 bard go down in seconds after I'm gone. The 37 bard flees for the PoK book and makes it out alive. I zone back in to find the 37 bard dragging corpses to the book for the druid's 60 cleric to rez. I run back for my corpse, loot all but arrows and drag the corpse back to the book. I start to head back for another corpse when I see the 37 bard dragging a second one back and realize she's just had Renux run up on her from behind. I tell her to zone. She drops the corpse at the book and zones. Renux just stands idly at the book while I'm marveling that the bard still had aggro (from dragging corpses? a bug? aggro through zoning out and back in?), but doesn't aggro on me.
My brain starts clicking.... Wonder if she's still got my drops? Can we get people back here in time to try her again before she poofs? Druid's logged to get the cleric; can we get rezzed and get druid back in time to try it again before she's gone? Can we even do this, since we failed so miserably the first time? There's a high-level gnomish caster standing nearby, I note -- I tell him she's my epic mob and we wiped, hoping he'll understand we'll want to try again and won't touch her.
Next thing I know, I see an unfamiliar high-level druid zone in, seem to take note of Renux. I have time to say "NO" before he casts on her and takes off running with her. I'm running behind when I realize the cleric had mentioned her son's 60 druid might be coming by -- was this him? On the chance it was, I dove in, unbuffed, with the 37 bard right behind me. The druid gets her a good ways from the book when snare drops and she catches him. He's down in seconds and I tell the bard to run while I throw myself in Renux's path. LOADING, PLEASE WAIT....
Zoning back in, I know there's no chance Renux will still be there long enough for us to get rezzed and try again. I head off to find the second corpse and run into the 37 bard. We start looking for the corpses. I find mine, loot all but my quiver, drag it back to the book. I start to head out for any of the remaining ones when the bard says she's found Renux again. I tell her to tail her but don't aggro her.
We get the bodies back to the book, the cleric rezzes all, including my first corpse (didn't see the second), and I run off after the bard and Renux without waiting for the rez effects to wear off. Everyone else is at the book. I find the bard and Renux and my second rez comes in. I tell the bard to stay with Renux. The new druid is, in fact, the other druid's son and joins the group. Finally, everyone's rezzed and miminally buffed, the druid's back at 70 percent mana and in wolf form, rez effects are wearing off, and we agree to try it one more time. This time, the 49 bard will try to kite while the druids snare and DoT, the 37 bard boosts us and the necro does what necros do.
We get about two steps when the necro goes LD. We keep going, hoping she'll return in time to help, but wanting to be at least in visual range of Renux now that we're ready, and knowing she could poof at any time. We get to her, the bard starts on his song when the 37 bard decides to help out and take over the kiting, so Renux starts after her. I'm thinking "crazy little bardling" when the druid hits Renux with a snare and takes off with her in tow.
From there, it was a pretty orderly textbook kite with the 37 bard and I meleeing, the 49 bard doing damage song and the druids keeping her snared and following the 54 druid. The necro came back from LD and tried (unsuccessfully) to find us. At one point the kiting druid ran out of mana, but snare stuck and she kept ahead of Renux. We beat her down to 20 percent, stopped meleeing and let the DoTs work. At 8 percent, I dived back in and finished her.
She dropped the dagger, the parchment, the skean and two Ravenscale masks. I looted the dagger and parchment, and one mask. The skean was a likely upgrade for the 37 bard's new rogue, and the second mask was for her, so she logged and ran the rogue to us. She missed the skean loot by about 30 seconds; I looted it with 2 seconds left so it wasn't wasted. The 49 bard picked up the second mask for her, so she at least got that.
We then headed off to Lake Rathe to camp the goblins for the druid's epic, also successfully.
