What are some Must have poisions?
I am currently finishing up my 230 poision making with my 56 roguei have vien and my remiss sketch. I am lacking my grand master seal but i have my grand master vial. I have few questions. What are some poision that i always want to have on my person? What are some poision that i want to supply my guild rogues to use? Also since my rogue is not my main i solo him inbetween cr alot so i am looking for some cheap good poision i can make that will make his soloing go farther. I usually only kill one or two mob before i camp down to let his displine refresh. I have research some but i rather have word of mouth info? Thank you in advance.
There are no must have poisons. And as to what I would provide my guild rogues, a link to a poison making walk through so they can learn to do it for themselves.
Re: What are some Must have poisions?
There's very little that I would call "must have". In fact I think the only think I would say you really should have on you is a bottle of spine rend for the snare effect. Just in case.
What poisons should you make for the guild? Frankly you're going to end up spending a TON of money trying to supply them and in the end you won't end up adding a lot of value. Also some of the key raid poisons (dex debuff) are nodrop so you can't supply anyone.
To me, there are two kinds of poisons - everyday use, and "keep a bottle on me just in case".
Everyday use: the problem is that it becomes hideously expensive to click off another charge every 15 minutes. Even when you sell off the bottle when it has one charge left, there's still a lot of time and ingredients used up. Poison is fun, but it is cost- and time-prohibitive for constant use. The only way to use poison constantly in my opinion is to get a set of ornate chain legs. Then you can summon poison til the cows come home, and that's exactly what I do, and exactly what I reccomend.
Just in case: I carry a LOT of bottles on me for contingency use. Dex debuff, snare, undead DD, straight DD, dot, de-agro. Not all of those are really necessary but some are damn handy to have.

Add Lower Resists 2 to the "handy to have around" list. It's the only poison I keep on me aside from Ornate legs' Concussion 2.

well i have bought a pair of ornate pants thank for the advice. i didnt know they summon poision. Thank you for all the advice.
Re: What are some Must have poisions?
I tend to keep a few different types of poison on me.
Lower Resist
Snare/Root
DD
Each is useful in a situation. The only time I really apply them though is in a raid type setting or in a GoD instanced zone.
I agree with the above posts about ornate legs. They are the only must have poison.....free=fun! But even they have their costs....../shiver at Rallos Ornate prices

Re: What are some Must have poisions?
I allways have:
Dreams of Drusella (aggro debuff)
Rage of incapacitation (Dex and aggro debuff)
Scorcia bite (DD and spell interrupt)
scratching madness (resist debuff)
Snare poisons when I remember to make them
Mostly because I can summon scorsia and use that everyday, and the others are ok for raids.. I have slow proc on my locustlure so not bothering fishing in LoY for the crap slow 10 dose-poison..

Re: What are some Must have poisions?
When exp-ing I like to add the bite of the shissar 125 DD poison when opposite a tanks that keeps aggro lock. If I get the occasional aggro, I may back down to to sting of shissar 75 DD with spell interrupt. Going further I will use the hate debuff and dex poison followed by dreams of drusella. In short scale poison use to the situation. I usually have a couple of each type poison handy at all times.
When raiding big nasty mobs, Dreams of Drusella all the way 8)
