What is the best color to paint walls these days?
What is the hot color to paint walls these days? Are earth tones still hot? Are they out? I know I should just go with what I like, but I don't want to look like I am trapped in a time warp either. I would like to redo my bedroom completely. I am looking for somewhere to start.

Colors....
Carrie,

Earth tones are still hot!! I just did my kitchen in a color called Sandspit, it is about the color of Dockers Khakis!!
What colors are you thinking of at the moment? I think that all these Khaki Shades are very nice, they seem to give the room a great glow in soft light! I saw a room in a house the other day that I really liked, keep in mind this WAS a bold move.... the color was Terra Cotta!!!!!! I thought ewww this is going to be U>G>L>Y!! but it was actually very very nice, the room was done in a Victorian style with a canopy bed, that was draped with beige colored sheers!! ( It was stunning ) the carpet in the room was a soft beige. Aside the room was a dressing area, open to the entire room, it had floor length mirrors and a tile floor that was several colored tiles ( gray, tan, terra cotta etc ) Let us know which color you decide!! Be Bold Be Daring, Be Creative!
