What may we provide for ourselves?
[Mestitia]

After dusk one evening, Mestitia has invited all the younger magi to meet up and discuss what sort of items and books others might be interested in buying or borrowing from each other.

Salvete Sodales. Rather than raise suggestions at council, where the elder magi here might feel their time was being wasted, I thought it might be an idea to meet up and talk through ideas for items and books that we might be able to create. I dare say we shall be dependent a while yet on the libraries of works owned by the elders, but as our abilities grow we may be able to trade with each other more frequently.

Though it is a matter of record in the Covenant Journal, this might be an opportunity to identify things we have also created that might be available for sale. [ooc: so that Simon can lift them for the website] However, what I'm more interested in are things we are yet to create - but which fall within our abilities. After all, there is little purpose in spending our time creating books and resources that no one else has need of!

So .. I'll start off, if no one objects.

I have scribed laboratory notes for the following spells. To keep them in good condition I have had them bound as a small Grimoire which I have entitled; "Applications of the Apprentice's Art"

Purification of the Festering Wound CrCo15 R:Per, D:Moon, T:Ind
Veil of Invisibility PeIm15 R:Per, D:Sun, T:Ind
Preternatural Growth and Shrinking MuCo15 R:Touch, D:Sun, T:Ind
Subtle Whispers of the Faerie Voice CrIm10 R:Sight, D:Conc, T:Ind The target of this spell hears the caster's voice whispering in their left ear.
Trap of Entwining Vines CrHe10 R:Voice, D: Diam, T:Group
The Wound that Weeps PeCo10 R:Touch, D:Mom, T:Ind
Vengeance upon the Vain MuCo10 R:Touch, D:Sun, T:Ind The target is transformed into an ugly and twisted version of themselves (reducing Presence to -3)
Bind Wound CrCo5 R:Per, D:Sun, T:Ind
Eyes of the Cat MuCo(An)5 R:Touch, D:Sun, T:Ind
Winter's Icy Touch PeIg5 R:Touch, D:Sun, T:Ind

I would be particularly keen to loan this book in return for a similar book of spells.

I am able to write Tractati, of fairly average quality (ooc: Quality 7), in Creo, Muto, Perdo, Rego, Corpus, Herbam and Mentem.

In addition, I have developed the laboratory notes which enable me to create 7 potions of "Purification of the Festering Wound"; which I would be happy to sell (as batches of 7) either for vis (we can discuss a fair price for my season's labour) or in exchange for a service in return. I can also make 6 potions of "Bind Wound" in a season if such would be useful.

If any of you are ever injured, then I will freely use the spell 'Purification of the Festering Wound' to speed your recovery. So long as I am in the covenant anyway, I will never make charge for such magics. Recently, I have learnt some useful healing rituals which I will be happy to cast upon any of you who require them - though, it would be worth you reserving some Creo or Corpus vis from your personal stores for such an eventuality.

Cheating the Reaper CrCo30 Resolves up to a Major aging crisis
Asceplius' Healing Touch CrCo30 Heals up to a Heavy wound

Finally, I have focussed these first years of my training for the purposes of creating Longevity Rituals. At the moment I can create a ritual of the 6th magnitude (ooc: lab total 31). It is my earnest hope that we shall all have long and productive lives here at Vida's Tear.

Re: What may we provide for ourselves?
Salvete Sodales, this seems like a fair notion, i do not mind going next.

While I am still to write up the spells I have learnt during my apprenticeship, here is a list of those I would be able to include in such a tome,

Cloak of the Duck's Feathers (ReAq 5)
Adversaries Made Babes in Arms (MuCo 20)
The Last Stand of the Horned Gargantuan (MuCo(An) 20)
Intuition of the Forest (InHe 10)
The Artist's Brush Aflame (MuIg 15)
Prying Eyes (InIm 5)
Disguise of the Transformed Image (MuIm 15)
Taste of the Spices and Herbs (MuIm 5)
Wizard's Sidestep (ReIm 10)
Eyes of the Eons (InTe 10)
The Crystal Dart (Mu(Re)Te 10)
Rock of Viscid Clay (MuTe 15)
The Unseen Porter (ReTe 10)

Along with Mestitia I would be willing to write up and loan this book in return for access to a similar book of spells.

My studies so far have focused on the comprehension of magic and laboratory theory, I am willing to lend my services (OOC +14 [Int+MT+Inventive Genius] towards your lab total) in assisting with major lab activities such as Longevity rituals and instilling talisman effects. This would be on a like for like season service or similar arrangement.

I am also capable of investigating enchantments, in theory I would be able to uncover enchantments up to the 7th possibly 8th magnitudes within an item. I would be willing to perform a season of investigation in exchange for vis (a fair price for the season to be agreed) or for a season of similar service.

Also bear in mind that I am interested in rare and unusual materials and might be willing to trade for any you discover.
