What's in a name?
So, I pose something for you all to ponder.

Being that Rob is short for Robert, would it be logical to assume that Bob must be short for Bobert?

I've never understood why Bob is short for Robert. And Jim. It should be Jam. How does one get Ted from Theodore? And Ned from Edward? Ed makes sense, but not Ned.

I understand, although I never thought of all those other poor guys of the world!
No one else should have to suffer the same fate as Bob!!
