TalkingToAWall spiritual seeker Posts: 1 (3/15/07 8:13 am) Reply	Why gender identify God? Ok, figure this is a good as any place to ask. Why is it that we as a people feel compelled to Gender Identify God. Some people want to say god is a man, and another big movement says god or the goddess is a woman. It is like we can’t handle it if god was genderless. As if the creator of all things, time / space / matter has to have a specific gender, and if this was the case, why would it create another gender that was opposite to its own in the first place. Heck, why stop at two genders, how about 7, or 17, or 131? So my question is, do you feel god has a gender, and why do you think this?
