Sitting here reading some of RandalG's posts and thinking.....I wish you were here in Sydney....I would pick your your knowledge. We are about to venture into the world of 'cheap and reliable' cars for our 18yo daughter. We had a VW that my father did up for her (Convertible 72 ??Superbug) but she absolutely hated it...think it was more for him to relive his youth. Sharyn wouldn't drive it. So we put it up for sale. It was sold yesterday. Now we need to get a small car that is reliable. She would like a Suzuki Swift or Barina (Swift with Holden badges!). On this thread does anyone know of such a car out there in the Sydney area? As we live in a 'country' area it needs to be reliable...would you put your child in a hunk of junk? She has an absolute maximum of $5000 Leanne
