The day had been long, and exhausting, even if it was a beautiful day, all Ashley wanted to do was sit here in the common room and write in her notebook. She needed to finish the story that she had started earlier in the year. Summing her notebook to her, she flipped open to the last page that she had wrote in the previous afternoon. "Hmmm..." she hummed softly to herself. "What should I have Maddox do next?" She positioned the pen at the paper and spoke out loud as she scribbled down the words that tumbled from her mind. "Maddox looked up at Alexi with his startling blue eyes. He wasn't sure how he was going to express his love for her. It had taken him two years to admit his feeling for her to himself. This one day alone would change everything. What if he lost Alexi forever. His heart could never take the rejection of losing the girl of his dreams and his best friend all in one, but it was time. It had to be done. Never taking his eyes off the beautiful young woman before him, his best friend of six years, he took Alexi's hands in his own, and with a smile and a a shaky voice, he blurted out the words that could very well ruin everything." Ashley paused in her writing to look up and stare out the open window. The warm spring breeze drifted in from outside, sending a chill down Ashley's spine as it hit her face. She sighed softly, tapping the pen on the paper as she struggled to come to a conclusion on how to write Maddox's words. I have PMS and a Wand...
