Wolf SG8: Sold out!
Just seen this on the Wolf site: -
Quote:We will know this week the best guess for when SG will finish shooting S8 however this is not an exact science the producers are the ONLY ones who will know as the filming goes ahead in March.
Whatever happens we will confirm the date for SG-8 by this Saturday 28th Feb 04, the event itself is SOLD OUT. Once this is confirmed we can proceed with confirmation on the 10th Anniversary location, dates and first guest announcements.
Shades of SG4, anyone else remember being packed into that room when Shanks came out?
Re: Wolf SG8: Sold out!
Thats if there is one!!! As there was not supposed to be a SG7 or SG8 as 6 was going to be the last, well I hope the sucsess of these 2 will make them change there mind
Re: Wolf SG8: Sold out!
All may not be totally lost, they are still talking about possibly changing the date which might mean some people will be dropping out and there is always people who dropout and want to transfer their tickets. I would e-mail Wolf Events and ask if there is a waiting list if tickets become available and also join the Wolf SG Con Yahoo Group as people also try and get flog tickets on their as well (groups.yahoo.com/group/Wolf-SG-Con/
Re: Wolf SG8: Sold out!
Cheers James, I mailed them a few days ago saying if after count they had any left could I have 1 and if all sold please put me on list for a ticket due to cancellations. So I hope that works! I hate to sound mean but I hope they change the date cause I know that will cause a good few canx, then I can go play,, Also people where talking about another SG Con within a few weeks of that one do you have any details of that one???
Wolf SG8: Sold out!
There's actually two other conventions happening, one is the Amanda Tapping event (limited to 400 tickets) and this happens two weeks after SG8. Cost is £125 and is at the Radisson Edwardian.
Then there's the more interesting convention hapening in November, only one guest announced so far but it's an intriguing one in the shape of Peter DeLuise (with more guests yet to be announced).
So far I haven't booked for either one and doubt very much I will do the Amanda Tapping event but the Level 3 one is tempting depending on who else they get. The only slight problem for some of us is that this event is very close to the Wolf 10th Anniversary event I have already said I am going to.
