Oh Boy...Here goes...
Hi, my name's John.....and I like to dress up.
I've put off posting here mainly because Lee would get a kick out of me posting on his board...but too late now I guess!
Most of the stuff in the above pictures are freely available in the UK, just go and sniff them out! I think the whole get-up, took me less than a week to acquire (apart from the MP5, which I've had for a while now). However you should note that a lot of it isn't totally accurate...the Vest I borrowed from TK Lee for one. The holster is also slightly different, but not enough for me to go buy a more accurate one.
As for the P90...I should have bought one at the weekend, but they had run out. Saying that...I SO love my MP5 with all the little bits on it, that I may stick with it.
Look at me Ma! I'm a Newbie!!
EDIT: BTW Chris/Foxy...FANTASTIC Pics dudes! They look like stills from the TV series! But.....I WANT BIGGER PICS! LOL!

Re: Work in progress costumes
Its a pity you guys were so late with the Stargate costume interests -lol. A couple of years ago the main theme for Dropzone was Stargate. A weekend of playing SG teams shooting each other with lasertag gun, outrunning jaffa and generally saving the earth (again)
Im sure a Stargate game will be run again at some point. We'll let you know when if your interested. Its sure another use for our nice costumes.
theForce is my ally, but a kick A$$ lightsaber helps........
Re: Work in progress costumes
Yeah, that would have been a blast!
I wonder if we can't do the same thing with BB style games? Might hurt a bit more though!

That would be so cool, the only problem id have is lack of money to get costumes and guns. My mate has an airsoft team who might also be willing to offer a helping hand.
Re: Work in progress costumes
I sure will keep you informed.
BTW the main theme for this years dropzone is High Frontier. The High Frontier setting is a synthesis of Aliens, Outland, Terminator with a few more similar thrown in for good measure.
So lots of Marines, Corporate mercs and suits etc with the occasional ICC type rep too.
As for lasertag weaponry, well I wouldnt worry about owning any as there a fair amount of spare kit floating about for loan if you just want to give it a try. Im not sure what my personal kit status is at the moment as most of it is sitting in The Colonels garage but between us we could outfit an SG team or a squad of marines.
Of course theres the lasertag P90's Im working on currently to add at some point (progress photo's soon).
Re: Work in progress costumes
I like where this thread is going.
incoming for TK Lee... In another thread you mentioned wanting a rubber Beretta. If your plans don't work out mould wise, these people do the very one for £19.99.
