My fletching skill is 187 right now, next time I sit down to do it I'll get it up to 202. I'm guessing it will be really slow to 250, but I'll keep plugging away.
If anyone needs bows, arrows, fishbone darts, etc. just let me know.

Other than bragging rights and being able to make some kick ass bows, Nightmarewood Compound Bow for one, that's about it I think.
Just send a tell if you need arrows anytime, I usually have a bunch of 150 range ones on me and it takes about 15 minutes to make 200 of them.

I for one wouldn't mind having an item in my range slot with nice stats (sv, ac, ect.) and still have it useable for pulling.

whats the trivial on the bow? I have some of the stuff for one and really want one. I never use a bow for pulling but it beats the crap out of my goranga idol.

It says the trivial is 250, but I've seen it listed as >250 too. Keep the nightmarewood bow staffs and silks as you get them, when I get up there we'll make as many as we can. Give them to people that want them and sell the rest for the guild bank.

I spent some time this weekend working on fletching skill (on my ranger, Grec), so I could make the whittled fishbone darts for Sleeka. His skill is now 191, and I'll probably raise it to 202 next time I can't find a group (so, like, really soon ). I found that wood elves can make some pretty nice arrows, though they are expensive. I don't know if anyone (other than a ranger with endless quiver) would want them.
Anyway, these are now trivial for me:
mithril warrior arrows: magic, ranged, damage 9, range 125, fire damage 3, WAR, RNG, PAL, SHD; ALL
And these are not trivial, but I can probably make em:
mithril champion arrows: magic, ranged, damage 11, range 150, fire damage 3, recommended level 1, wt 0.1, size small, WAR, PAL, RNG, SHD; ALL
If you're a worshipper of Tunare, there's even better arrows, and some nice bows. Please send me a tell if you want that nice stack of arrows for that special pulling situation. Oh yeah, Henge can also make the tailored quivers, which allow you to shoot faster.

It's the fleeting quiver that you want, but that has a trivial of 222, and requires stuff you have to hunt for. Henge's tailoring is in the 150's, so I don't think he should be attempting these, yet. The tailored quivers are really easy (requiring only 1 HQ cat pelt), so anyone using a bow should at least have one of these.
Quivers do reduce weight (and can only contain arrows), and the bigger the weight reduction percentage is, the more haste you get on your bow. I'm sure a good ranger site like The Ranger's Glade has more details than you'd ever want to know on the subject, but I've read that the bow haste you get is 1/3 of the weight reduction (so 7% haste for the tailored quiver, 20% haste for the fleeting quiver). The haste only applies to bows, and the next used stack of arrows in your inventory has to be in the quiver.
Cikki, I will try to make some of the mithril champion arrows for you. I should finish getting 202 skill before I start on them. Let me see how much a stack costs me, and then you can say how many you want. They are going to be expensive, though - all of the components have to be made out of mithril. Since Physica is an actual ranger though, don't you want the Tunare-only arrows instead? They're better...

I made a ranger to play around with the quiver haste thing..
Foldslikea (lawnchair) is gunna be my sir name =P..
The bow I am using has a recomend limit of 50 somthing I think ( i didn't notice it when I bought it)..
But what I noticed is that the stats are not being imposed.. its like a 20/23 and a 4/23 with the restriction..
I was hitting very consistant in the 20's and was critting for 56..
