Ho there stranger! Before you pass. I've heard tale of strange goings in this land. Oh sure, perhaps not as odd as some in the towns you must have passed along your way. But ... and you didn't hear this from me, mind you ... but they say no one comes to the realms of this unspeakable place, because they're chicken. That's right I tell you! Booger picking chickens! Bock! Bock! Bock! Hahahaha, that's right, run with you, off you go! Bockbockbock! Never enough time to stop for tea with old Mad Droody!

The Emerald Drood
  Emerald Forest
This grand forest is deep, dark and rich with green mosses and huge ferns. There are many kinds of walks of life here, from faerie kind and dryad to the rare but occasional white stag and hind alike. It is the largest and most ancient realm of the dree.
15/9/06 11:54 pm
  Old Mad Droody
This is a 500 acre patch of forest where a number of mad and senseless dree have been collected together. They pester traveler's and change the paths. It is said they can make one's very weapons, armors and rations come to life and speak (mostly complain). It's barely worth crossing through, much less remaining. Yet, some do in hopes of finding the Black Eln.
239/5/05 6:38 pm
  Dark Forest
The forest seems even darker, the tall canopy is thick enough that a troll could run by day. Whole patches seem to be dedicated to boggy mud. Perhaps even worse are the dark sided dree. Ahead could be a fortress hold but unless you're a drow, don't feel too safe just yet.

  Field of the Titans
Coming from the tree line, some begin to thank their stars the few trees on this huge plain don't seem to be any sort of dree at all. Over the shallow hills many different sizes of boulders dot the land. In the distance can be seen one of the five giants here made out of stone. But you can't breath just yet you realize, as several boulders begin to roll away of their own accord.

New Forlen
  The Spider Mountains
This mountain range is filled with deep crevasse canyons and lush valleys. It was given its name for the way the underground of natural chambers of caves and ancient dwarven mining networks together many levels. Even the safest, easiest paths above ground were ones made by the dwarves who once had a massive kingdom here. It is now home to various kinds and smaller kingdoms.

  The Falcon Hold
This human kingdom lies in a great valley along foothills just at the edge of a wide river. It is teaming with commerce as the grand center connecting many other kingdoms together by land, water and air by way of the Gis Gard. Here there are thriving monasteries for different beliefs and schools for scholars and guilds of many walks.

  Angle Horn
Rich forest coats these rolling hills, interrupted here and there by open patches of grass land and rock edged springs from a merer trickle to lake sized. A few wooden forts stand in welcome to trade but the realm is mostly ranged by nomaden clans and bandits.
06/21/05 10:27 pm
  The Oracle of Gates
Two tall, black monoliths stand like towers between what looks like a shaft of silver light rising to the heavens from a crack of black stone half buried in the ground. It is surrounded by high, stone walls where stone titans stand in each corner as a tower. Those who pass through this dimensional gate encounter an arch leading into a wide hall. Some have been known to come from very strange places, from peculiar alternate dimension, to the universe itself.

Elven Wood
  The Tawny
This grand forest has more tawny owls in it than it does hawks. The ancient trees are spread wide apart, the canopy allowing beams of sunlight to fall on the heavily leaf coated ground. There are natural springs here, moss drowned boulders and fox fire.
258/1/05 11:27 pm
  Elder Wood
In this ancient forest can be found a kingdom of the elves. A castle of stone stands inside the trees, its walls over grown with vines. Spread from it is the village and forts with smooth paths swirling around it and into the central square where shops and taverns await the weary traveler. There are not only tree houses but huge oaks serve as some of the shops, taverns and homes. Somehow the spaces within their hollows are even larger than their outside.

  The Rowan Scholary
In this glade a temple stands with its great double doors open to visitors by day, it expands out as various chambers and connected buildings of the monastery and dorms, dotted with breath taking parks and a hedge maze in the back. Beneath it are deep catacombs. All kinds of learning and training goes on here and the teaching of trees and herbalism is welcome to any without apprenticeship.

The Plains
  The Down
On the plains this jagged patch of forest surrounds half buried and crumbled ruins of some ancient, massive castle. Most of its remains below ground remain intact rooms. Some places have been dug through to open it up into chambers of caves where sounds of trolls, orcs and goblins can be heard.
06/12/05 3:32 pm
  The Sea of Grass
These great plains are dotted with low rising mountain ranges with mesas and scattered patches of forest around springs and along deep furrowing creeks. Great herds of elk and horses range here and some unicorn, centaur and minotaur can be found.

The Greshan Desert
  Sandstone Buttes
A series of red sandstone buttes streaked with blacks borders this edge of the desert. Among a host of smooth, rounded tunnels and caves carved out by rainfall and ancient rivers now dried away, this is the last spot weary travelors will find water in the ice cold springs hidden around.
012/10/05 10:54 pm
  The Saguaros
This vast, flat land is filled with desert plants at almost every step, sand is disrupted by slate and hard, dry dirt. Here can be seen few mesa's days away, as well as the towering saguaros cactus the size of a titan. Dead one's dry up and become pocketed like swiss cheesed hollows, providing shelter and occasional pools left by rainwater in its shade. In some instances, whole tribes may even inhabit one as a community lodge with plenty of elbow room for the human sized. Water is hard to come by without some ingenuity, but there is an abundance of reptiles, small mamals and insects and the cactus fruit every spring.
012/10/05 11:04 pm
  The Black Dunes
In the center of the desert, the lands give in to pure, black sands that are shaped by the winds into great dunes and shallow ripples. There is very little solid ground available and not all of them are an oasis. Among the dangers are giant trap spiders, sand wyrm's and other hungry creatures buried in the sands.

The Amber Coast
  Torn Sail Port
This port is as busteling a city kingdom as Falcon Hold. It is a very large port spread across the coastal edge, leading into an even wider spread of three kingdoms who are allies, but have divided each other by walls whose gates close at night.
2812/10/05 11:38 pm
  Merchant Coast
These coastal waters are primary trade routes to many different islands and other ports along the main continents edge.
06/11/05 5:38 pm
  Gis Gard
Just off the Amber Coast is a smaller continent or massive island rich in jungles and mountain terrains. Here the folk have established a very unique form of travel, with two and four masted schooners that do not sail by sea, but fly as powerfully as the dragons by air. Duck for your life if you hear their canons above!
