captive audience....
Ok, since I've tricked you guys into coming here (mwaaahaaahaaa) I have a few questions about things, because I percieve things differently as the author. At least, I *probably* do. So I'm curious, and I'd luuuuurve to know what people think about...
-who the main character is, Kalin or Taylin (or Riss, I guess)
-what people think is going to happen
-what people WANT to happen
.....there are also a few things I wonder if people picked up on, but I don't want to mention them until it's over. (I'm a brat, aren't I? Sorry.) Which pretty much means I'll be asking things like this a *lot*. So if you indulge me, that would be supernice. And if not, that's also ok. (And if people want, I can offer *my* perceptions too, later.)
Uhm am I allowed to reply to the last two questions? Being that although I haven't really been privy to lots and lots of spoilers, we have talked about it a bit...I am just asking but I will answer the first question.
Kalin is the main character, although Taylin has a big part, his whole reason for existence in the story is centered around Kalin. The story is mainly driven by the, oh, what will happen to Kalin now theme. Since all characters are tied to Kalin in various degrees of seperation, I would say Kalin is the natural main character. I don't wonder what will happen to Taylin next. I wonder about Kalin, even Taylin's dissappearance, made me think but he has to be around to help KALIN!

I have the same problem with the second two questions, I guess, that Nic does, so maybe I shouldn't answer them either. ^^; But Kalin's definitely the main character. Even if other characters have huge parts, Kalin's the reason for them to appear in the story at all, as Nic already said. I'd try to be more profound and original but I'm a bit ill right now and rather incoherent. ^^;; (*grrs at infected wisdom teeth surgery which made her sick* Ewww....)
