cazic-thule recipes (warning: spoilers included)
One of the funnest things for me about the new zones is being able to share in the exploration and discovery. The night we went to Cazic-Thule, a book dropped, written in an unfamiliar language. I could not interpret it, but if you open and close the book repeatedly, the spelling of the text changes so that some words become familiar. Ouze has this book if anyone is interested in examining it.
In the book, new recipes for nearly all the tradeskills exist. But they are like puzzles. Most of them haven't yet been solved. The following thread is a really easy-to-read compilation of the writings from the dropped books and possible recipes: www.eqtraders.com/secrets...cthule.htm

I think some of you might find the links fun to read. Hopefully one day we can go in deep enough to try out our own experimentations with the recipes. But till then, it's neat to see how people are interpreting the puzzles that EQ made for us to figure out.
