I have a '94 ssrv 3l turbo that I have just discovered has a cracked head....overheated on xmas day...blew a water pump seal & top radiator tank. Now have tracked down a new head...but the question I have is ....-should I get the turbo checked?...could it have been damaged due to overheating....I'm getting conflicting advice on this from...either a turbo goes or it doesnt, to if you dont get it checked it could disintegrate through your motor....& wreck the whole lot any advice?would be welcome!
