The only problem with that is you run the possibility of camping back to a camped Raster.
I ran into that with a guy doing that in lguk, he thought it was his camp since he kept logging back to it. He was such an ass about it, I left.
I seriously considered rooting a huge number of mobs at his camp point...just to see if my timers worked also.

When I was hunting him, I basically left Sleeka camped there, and took over the camp whenever I found it open. If not open, I might try one of the other camps while waiting, or camp and play an alt. I found that I got to know the other monks that were trying at the same time, so it wasn't too uncommon for us to send each other tells when one of us was leaving. Also, there's a guide on www.monkly-business.com that explains how to get 4 chances to pop him per game day, rather than 3. It basically involves letting one of his ph's live, because it will despawn at the same time everyday, then spawn again soon after. 2 other pieces of advice I'd have are to avoid marathon camping sessions, and to put a TV by your computer. I found that camping for 10 hours straight only to have no Raster at the end was just really frustrating. After a few of those, I found that 'couple of hours per night mode' was much better for my sanity. Also, there's not all that many spawn points to keep clear - I did all in Raster's room, the room outside, and the pit, some only do the Raster PH - so most of your time will be spent feigning, waiting for the next spawn to happen. Use this time to get caught up on your TV watching, or chores around the house. Just make sure you are right there when the Raster spawns are due, cause there will be no mercy if someone else finds him up and you are afk. Basically, you have to just keep plugging away, forsaking all else. When you least expect it, Raster will spawn quite unceremoniously. Once he's dead, you can re-discover that there is more to the game than a little room at the bottom of Guk.

Ya Sleeka, its a great guide... Monkly Buisness has alot of good info, if you can get beyond all the asshats complaiing that monks suck, and they will never play again....
on the note of getting 4 spawns in a day... I personaly have a hard time doing anything, where the requiremetns are that I hold my breath... hop on one leg, spin in circles, and recite the constitution of the US... just to get a single green mob to spawn "MAYBE"..... lol thats why I went the route I did... of course if I camped in and somone was camping the spot, it is obviously theirs...
Reminds me of one of the first times I went there for raster... and this monk was screaming at me... RASTER CAMPED!!!!, all I did was go through the area to determine where the bugger spawned... I swear this guy had spittle flying when he was yelling... some peeps take it way too serious..

log in windig, sit at that undead playground SE it, or clear it in whateverway, the mobs are on a sequence. one pops close to the bridge, the other 2 are in the southern part. all 3 are dropable so you can check the baz from time to time, i ended up buy 2 of the three and getting the 3rd the way i explained above. im 2 drops and the fights from finishing this in just 2 days of being bored and figuring " hey ill start it and get closer so i wont have so much to do later on down the road " need the book from targin, and the chardok pipe
