Finding the Silver Guardian

Kay gathered her emerald robes about her, trying to supress a chill that crept up her spine and made a solid lump of fear in her stomach, reminding her of how she nearly got in a brawl with a Mega-sized dragon the last time she visited this forgotten place.
She looked past Kain and studied the ruins that marked where the towers of Nirvus once stood, knowing that they'd have to enter those destroyed towers if they were to try to find Ryath. Steeling her will and recalling her magic so she wouldn't desecrate the sacred place she was in, she took the first of many steps that would lead her to the ruins of Nirvus.

For those who don't RP with Kay and Kcrix often, it might be sort of confusing to follow this thread. I'll see about posting an explanation in the OOC Forum, or updating my Character Profiles to include information on Silver Guardian Raun, the DragonLands, Mishen and Mishen-Sao, and of course, little Naru, the newest addition to the Moone-Mission household. -- DragonRalith [12:43 PM]: Okay, so I don't know what I'm going to do with Naru. Nirvus hadnt changed a bit since the last time they had arrived. "I never thought I would be back here again...not after last time..." He shook his head as they walked, he hadnt ever wanted to come back.

For now, Ryath was her only chance, and had to be found. And to find the great dragoness, they had to start searching somewhere. Unfortunately, the only place either of them knew where to look was in Nirvus--the one place that neither of them ever wanted to return to.. but if we can't find Ryath, even here in Nirvus... "I know.. I didn't want to have to come back either.. but what other choice do we have?"

The structure was unnafected by bad weather, since Nirvus had none. Kain was trying hard to control his emotions, breaking down now would only make it harder to contact Ryath. He hadnt expected to ever come back...he had finaly made peace with himself, but now...he stopped at the shattered doorway to the tower "I dont know if I can do this Kay..." He was shaking

"You can do this, Kain. We both can. We have to." She took his hands in both of hers and stepped forward into the tower, pulling Kain along with her, because she knew that he could never have entered the forsaken place of his own will. "We'll be fine," She said reassuringly. "There's nothing here to be afraid of but memories and our emotions.... and those are things that we have complete control over. We can do this..."

There were just to many memories here, it felt like he was trying to walk through a steel wall...but he had to, for Kay... "I hope we can find Ryath...i dont want this trip to be for nothing....."

"You and me both..." She pulled her digivice free and looked at the d-4 screen, thinking that it might be able to help them find Ryath, or find something that the tamers could use to contact her. He climbed over a large piece of rubble and helped Kay over it. "My only guess right now is that we need to be at the top floor...whichever floor is the top floor now."

"Might as well just keep climbing until there aren't anymore stairs, then we'll know which floor is the top one. Maybe we can find something a little more useful than a digivice up there, too." We can only hope....

She brushed her hand across the class, finding hairline cracks all over it, but as she pushed the power button near the console, it lit up, much to her surprise. "One miracle, coming up." She frowned and looked at the screen, not knowing what to do next. "Now..... what use to us is this thing? Any idea what it does?"

Whatever was flashing over the screen, Kay couldnt read, it was the same language as whatever those runes were that Kain made in the air that opened the warpgate to Nirvus in the first place. "Its a systems check..." Kain walked in front of the computer, his hands faintly glowing as he apparently started to type in midair. If Kay was looking, there was a very faint shimmering in the air under his hands, a see-through glowing blue keyboard ^^; "Before you ask, no, i cant make magic computers. Its part of Nirvus"

She frowned as Kain typed commands into the glowing keyboard, trying to decipher the symbols on the keys. "What will this get us?"

Its an old language that Asteamon used, I dont remember where she said it was from though, some other world." He was still typing, watching the results on the screen very closely. "As for what this will get for us...if there is still any sort of communications system working, I might be able to set it up to be able to send messeges between worlds. Nirvus is the nexus point of existance for the digital world and the real world, but before it was destroyed, there were ways to open gates to just about any world there is. I could set up a relay to send out a signal to Ryath through the gate system, but thats only if the system is still operational. If its not, I'm going to have to hope I can fix it..." He didnt sound very hopeful.

She hoped that he's say anything but the latter, that he couldn't fix the communications array, becuase that would mean that they would have a lot of work ahead of them.. they would have to search elsewhere to find Ryath, but this seemed to be the only real option. Her thoughs drifted back to the Mishen, and to the dragons that Kcrix had taken with her to the DragonLands. Naru would be fine.. Raun could easily take care of her. But Kay didn't think that Raun favored Emarismon much, being the half-breed that he was. She shook her head and continued to think to herself, keeping silient so as to not break Kain's concentration. ooc - You feeling any better Stef?

Some images were appearing now as well and he sighed, a faint blip sound being heard as the screen went dark and the keyboard vanished. "I had guessed it was going to be like this..."

"Power it yourself, so you can nearly die of exhaustion like when you protected Raun from my attack?" She shook her head again as a thought emerged. "Not a good idea... let me help you this time."
