She sighed in resignation.. she knew that he was right, and there were precious few other options open to them at the moment.

I don't know if I can do that or not... I've never tried before. Never had a reason, really. I suppose it's worth a shot, though, yes?" She held out her hand, palm up, as a faint blue orb of Frost Fire came to life, then slowly started to rotate and desintigrate, making it appear that her hand was glowing a light blue-ish color. "I don't know if that's pure enough to be called energy or not.. I can work on it some more if I need to. It's not that difficult."

"i cant tell myself...we will have to find out when we try it with the gate. this is what i was reffering to though..." He held up his own hand, closing his eyes. the familiar blue aura of his power flowed upwards into his own sphere of energy that he would normaly shape into crystal. instead, this time, it seemed to be losing power to his body, tendrils of energy flowing back into his hand. what was left, in the end, was a glowing sphere that was so bright it was hard to look at, pure white. "its raw magic."

The magic lost its color and quickly faded to nothing, leaving her hand looking normal again. "I.... can't do that. What you just did. I can't let my magic stay in its true, raw form. It won't work right if I do.." She shook her head and dropped her hand back to her side. "I'll help if I can, but I can't do... that."

Ryath is the only way to make sure things work out normaly..." He started picking his way over rubble heading back downstairs, helping Kay when/if she needed it "The gate system is pretty much undamaged, fortunately...we just have to go out to it"

She realized that such a show of magic was probably frowned upon in Nirvus, but she was more worried about finding Ryath than anything. The prophet's words rang hollow in her ears as she remember how she was told of her death, her Guardian's death, or the death of the Mishen.... and how she and Kain would determine who died. She shivered and continued on, following Kain. "Where are we going...?"
Rubii Getsurei MBV Member Posts: 25 (11/23/03 3:35 pm) Reply	Re: Finding the Silver Guardian "to a part of Nirvus that even i have only seen once. the gate system is very dangerous, if somebody that wanted to use it for evil found it. they would have access to just about the entire universe in their hands. fortunately, Ryuhal couldnt find it when he attacked...i guess thats at least one good thing that came out of this....." he shook his head, nothing good had come out of Nirvus' destruction, but he couldnt change it now, so he might as well be grateful for small miracles.

"i suppose i should get this over with..." he began drawing the runes in the air again, although they were a pure, shining white this time, instead of the crystal blue that was used to enter Nirvus.

"Using my magic as I normally do wouldn't hurt anything, maybe, but using it the way you are using yours right now.. that might hurt something." She stood and watched as he flicked his hands around, drawing runes to open the path to the gateway, knowing that it was best if she stayed quiet and let him concentrate.

The runes flew in a small circle, then vanished, the sky seeming to tear open and flicker. There was a bright flash, and when it faded, the gate was there. It was a pair of tall white pillars that appeared to be marble, laced with veins of varying color. They were about 20 feet tall, and 20 feet apart. It didnt look much like a gateway...but then...in Nirvus... "The Gate. normaly Asteamon would power it, but..." he shook his head. "I suppose we should get started."

Kain started to call out to Ryath mentaly
