Kay only shook her head and waited, watching him carefully to make sure nothing irregular happened.
But I don't even know how the gate system works... I doubt I'd be able to tell what is supposed to happen from what isn't... Hey, is that--? She blinked as she thought she caught a glimmer of the Dragon Ryath, but the image faded as soon as she became aware of it. She kept searching the vortex, looking for anything, any image, that resembled either of the two forms she had seen Ryath in. I can't stay here too long.. I hope Kain can find her soon. |

Re: Finding the Silver Guardian ooc: sorry if my posts arent to good recently....ive got one hell of a nasty cold, so im sorta just hopping on and offline  ic: Kain shuddered, his eyes still closed. The aura around his hands was pulsing and he was starting to sweat pretty badly. He clenched his fists, crying out once as he fell forward, being caught by somebody...Ryath? As the glow of the gate faded, Kay could see that it was in fact Ryath in her human form (whose appearance i cant remember, and im to sick/lazy to go looking for). She put him down gently and looked up at Kay, a slightly confused look on her face. "What is going on? I couldnt understand his message at all, the gate scrambled it to badly..."

Re: Finding the Silver Guardian Kay sighed in relief and helped with Kain. She gave a small smile to the woman in apology. "A lot has happened since I saw you last, Lady Ryath.. I'm not sure what he said, exactly, to get you to come here... but we need your help." She let go of Kain's shoulder and took a step back, her hands trembling. She looked up at the dwinding glowing light that was the Gate, a mix of shock and fear splashing across her features. Not now.. please not now... it wasn't open long enough to affect me... was it?? She shuddered and hugged her arms around herself, trying to regain control. "We have to leave now... we can let Kain rest somewhere else.." |

She looked up at the pristine blue sky, wishing that there was a way to get to the DragonLands from Nirvus, but at the same time knowing that it was impossible. She snuggled down into her thick emerald robe to hide the tremors, gesturing to Ryath. "We can go to the Real World, and plan from there." |

She picked up Kain and walked over to her, closing her eyes, the air around them starting to shimmer. Ryath could create dimensional rifts to pretty much anywhere she chose... "Where in the real world did you want to go?"

Re: Finding the Silver Guardian She let a small smile pull at the corner of her mouth. "This is perfect, thank you." Here, no one can see or hear what will happen. If it happens. She shuddered again and breathed deeply to calm herself. "Kain...."

She was nowhere near as large as the last time Kay had seen her. She laid down, curling up, her head watching them. Re: Finding the Silver Guardian "How do you know Kain..?" Kay remembered the first time she saw Ryath in her humanesque form, and how perfect and utterly beautiful she was. She studied the Golden dragon lying in front of her, and realized that even in a Dragon form, Ryath lost none of her beauty.

Re: Finding the Silver Guardian She smiled. "Then he wasn't as alone as everyone thinks he was.... at least he had someone around when he was living here.." Her smile faultered as a shiver ran through her body. She closed her eyes for a minute, then turned from Ryath and Kain and walked away slowly.

Re: Finding the Silver Guardian Kay turned around and faced the golden scaled dragon. "I wasn't going to say that nothing was wrong; I'm sure you can figure out that there is something abnormal. But I don't want to talk about it--I need to go for a walk. Take care of Kain....." I wish I could tell you Ryath.... I wish I could tell someone.... but I don't want to. I don't want to lose what I have.... I don't want to have my friends run away from me, but if they don't, the chances are that I'd kill them unintentionally..... and I don't want that....... She shook her head and laughed aloud, the laughter quickly being replaced by a somber expression as Kay's eyes slid to the ground before her. "...I wish I knew." |
