To win the heart of a Kaiser...

* Jamie watches the whole scene from a tree limb. Her heart just about breaks into a million peices when she sees that single tear.*

Jamie: * Whispers.* Ken-chan... ~ I wonder if I'm the only one that fell in love with the Kaiser and even after all the things he did as the Kaiser I still loved Ken? I MUST be the only one. I hate how so many people turn away from him just because he was the Kaiser! That was the past! Can't they let it be?! Well, here goes nothing.~

* Just as Jamie is getting ready to get out of the tree her trademark move is pulled. Someway or another she manages to flip herself and fall out of the tree. She hits the ground.*

" So..... you don't believe in god but you believe in the god of death?" ~ Nun " Yeah! I've never seen any miricales but I've sure seen alot of dead people!" ~ Duo Maxwell

(Ken sits on a bench in Odaiba Park, looking at the young children playing in the fountain...He smiles) Ken: The innocence of youth...I remember those days, when Osamu and I would blow bubbles off the balcony. We weree so young then...so naivete. Perhaps it was better that way. (He sees a young girl hurt herself, scraping her knee. Tears fill her eyes...until a young boy her age helps her up with a smile. The tears vanish and she smiles up at him. At this, Ken gets up and walks away...) Ken's thoughts: 'I wish I had someone like that...someone who truly cared about me. But what am I talking about? Who could love me? I was the Kaiser! That dark shadow will always follow me...' (A single tear runs down Ken's cheek, which he quickly wipes away.) OOC: Okei...fans of Ken, here's your chance! I leave it to you ^^

He wants desparately to tell Jamie that he's not fine, that he's lonely, and how beautiful she is, and how he would do anything for her.... It's beginning to dawn on Ken that these emotions won't go away. But feeling like he has no other choice, he does what he's best at, and bottles his negative feelings up inside of him. But he can't hide them completely...Ken blinks, and a tiny droplet, much smaller than a tear, falls to the ground. It's miniscule, but Jamie notices...)

And it's just gotten...steadily worse ... this whole Kaiser thing...I mean, Osamu is my brother. And just when I think I've found him again, he... (Ken sobs bitterly, and this is a gateway that lets out the torrent of emotion Ken has inside of him.) It's not that I hate Deis and you, or Kay and Dagrus, or Nate and Jen for being together, but it seems sometimes like everyone has somebody except me, and I'm stuck here all alone, because even Zach, my oldest friend, doesn't truly understand me...maybe it's my punishment for being the Kaiser, but that's not fair! I got rid of that facet of myself a long time ago... I look at you, Jamie, and you're so beautiful it almost hurts my eyes. Fate gave you the wrong crests, you should've had mine, because you're a far better person than I ever will be... (He feels tears well in his eyes, and he knows he can't stop them this time...)

Of course, this would mean that Deis and Jamie would break up. I don't think Eden will mind, seeing as how every single solitary one of his chara is involved, while all my characters are single. But...what are your feelings on the matter? Does Jamie intend to stay with Deis, or go to Ken? Or what? I leave that decision in your hands. Sorry if it's a bit weighty. ^^;

Well...I don't believe in going by what the season said about the ending, myself. I mean, Matt married SORA, fer godsakes! BIC: ~Just leave, Ken! He places this flower in Jamie's hands...and then walks away, back turned, so that Jamie can't see the tears silently running down the Kaiser's face.)
