Where can a mage with a twisted past find love?? (Zachary sighs. It's another summer day, and now it's his turn to be lonely. Although he doesn't have quite the sadness that Ken did, looking at the flowers is depressing for him. Of course, being Cthonic, he has an aversion to flowers, but let's not stray from the point. Everyone has someone...but Zach fears to meet whoever that someone is. If they become close to him, the Old Ones will make them targets too...and they'll suffer. Maybe die because of him. Zach can't stand the thought of that, but today the loneliness presses down deeply on him. He has always put on a soulful or happy face to cover the shadows inside of him, but today that mask is falling off. Pulling his long, tall frame up from the grass where he sat, he walks off, and then nearly bumps into an innocent woman...) Zach: AI! I'm sorry, miss, didn't see where I was going.... OOC: Yes, Zach's up for grabs! Take him or leave him! |

OOC: well lets see, i just got me a new char. and she could use a little company, and someone to calm her down too^_~ so i'll give it a try
IC: *Lost in her own little world that she is often found in, Azura walks through the park, totally oblivious to any other living matter around her when she suddenly nearly falls head over heels, tripping over someone that almost crashed into her* Eeek! Oh, I'm so sorry! It was me who wasn't looking where I was going, which happens a lot I might add, aheh. Are you ok?

Re: Where can a mage with a twisted past find love?? Zach: Well.... I grew up a little ways out from the suburbs of Arkham. The Lovecraft estate..not exactly rich, but enough that my great-great-grand-uncle made a mansion off it. I was an only child, and my mother and father loved me very much. I remember that the school was another friendly place...things got a little rowdy sometimes, but I had lots of friends there. I used to go out into those fields...those endless, golden fields...and watch the stars come out. My dad would help me catch fireflies. Then, when I was six years old, my parents were...killed. ( his eyes' usual brightness dims and a grim look sets his face) Soon after that, strange men in black suits started showing up, looking for me. I knew I had to leave....had to get a ticket to Japan, where my grandfather lived. I stayed with my best friend till I was eight, then his mother helped me get a plane ticket, and I came to Tokyo. |

Re: Where can a mage with a twisted past find love?? Azura: Arkham sounds cool. Sorry for your parents though...must have been tough. I found my way here by just following my heart. And my friend Shadow, who said it was pretty cool here. I lived in the desert my whole life, and I loved every minute of it. Riding on the sands with Quetz, under the stars...that was the life. Not a worry in the world, doing what you want when you want. Thats what I loved, freedom. But after a few raids and attacks, my family began to dwindle and change drastically. My mom and little brother died soon after. The sand was tainted red with blood and I couldn't take it so I left to find a new life. I came to Japan because my friend Shadow was here, really the only other friend I had, and Quetz...but he's not exactly human...more of a digital creature...

Quetz is a rather long snake with big wings and a feathery tail that is kind of hard to hide, so I left him with Shadow today. He's anything but lazy, the little brain machine. *notices the two figures walking in and looks to Zack* Uh-oh? Do you know them or something?

Stay low...pretend you don't see them. If we look normal enough, they'll leave us alone... (whispers) They're a couple of extremely evil individuals called Agents. They're employed by a conspiracy that wants to hunt me down for one reason or another.... ( The Agents appear not to have been deterred, and are apporaching their table....) |

And they don't seem to be leaving us alone... *the Agents seem to stop at their table and just...stand there* *azura comes to the conclusion that its kinda awkward having the two imposing individuals standing there and decides to try to act casual and make them go away* Hello gentlemen, what can we do for you? *smiles innocently thinking things are probably gonna go from bad to worse*

Run...run far away...just forget me... ~ DAMNIT. They ruin everything....~ Zach: Smith....Kawasaki...greetings. You've come expecting to capture me in broad daylight again, haven't you? Smith: (grins) So blunt, Mr. Lovecraft. But yes...things *will* be better for you if you come peacably.... Zach: Azura....run. Go. Go NOW. Run, and don't stop, or they'll find you, and they'll kill you too... (The Lovecraft boy begins gathering energy between his fingers and chanting. Smith powers up his rifle...and Zach lets go of his spell. Tendrils of lightning arc into the Agents, and knock them over. Zach runs, trenchcoat trailing behind him, as the Agents pick themselves up and fire after him. One shot hits him in the leg, and he stumbles, then picks himslef up and keeps running.) ~ I hope Azura escaped...oh, dear God...what if they shot her? Did she stay? I told her to run....DAMMIT!!! Everyone I get close to gets hurt...damn you, MoonMilleniumon. DAMN you. I can't just run...I have to go back...see if she needs help... I can't let another person I care about suffer because of me!!!~ ( Without pausing, Zach turns, and runs back painfully, blood dripping from his inner knee. |
