The new opening act
"GUYS WAKE UP!" Lou Pearlman yelled as he walked on the tour bus. It was 6AM and his band Natural were all still sleeping, though they were supposed to have been up an hour ago.....
"eh...in a minute" Ben mumbled
Lou walked over and pulled the covers off of Ben
"I said get up, all of you! You have to be in makeup, well hell your already an hour late for that, no food for you! And anyways I told you, you all have a photo session in an hour, then you have to dance reherase, then dress reherashal, then you got to meet your new opening act aboout 7 tonight, and I want you all to be up and decent looking by then so GET UP!"
"I dont want to" Marc mumbled
"Fine if you dont get up no calling Sarah"
Marc tried to sit up "I'm up, I'm up, dont be cruel *mumbles* fat @#%$."
"What did you say?"
"I said thanks Lou forgetting me up" said Marc as he climbed out of bed, stepped on Ben's hand, and went into the bathroom
Lou glared at him, then looked around at the rest of them
"Get up you lazy asses! Or your all fired!"
Ben mumbled "that might be better off that way"
Lou turned and headed for the door "You all better be up by 6:25 or I will make u get up!"
And he slammed the door
Ben got out of his bed slowly and said "Come on guys, remember he almost sat on us last time! We might as well get up"
The other guys mumbled in agreement and slowly started rolling out of bed
"I dont want to dress rehearse" said Patrick whinily
"I dont want another damn photo shoot" said Michael
"I dont want another annoying opening act like last time" Said J as he almost fell off the top bed.
"Who was the last 'act' Lou got? I'm starting to forget anymore! Their always so stuck up and then they do something to piss the fat ass tyrant off and get fired." Ben said as he put on his jeans
"Yeah and there always some 'boy band wannabes' who think their so much better then us" Michael said
"Yeah why couldnt he get some chicks or something?" Patrick said as he poured some cereal (hopeing lou wouldnt know he ate )
"Because he wants to torture us" said J
Marc came out of the bathroom and said "Or he wants you for his lil boy toy!" The guys all laughed but J didnt find it so funny!
"Oh yeah whos the boy toy Marc? If he threatens to take sarah away for one secon..."
"Shut up shut up Mr.Pearlman"
the guys cracked up again
Josh put on his coat and said "Well I'm going to work early, I can see Marc is PMSing again and I dont feel like dealing with it!"
Josh walked quickly to the building and was in no time having more make up then christina aguleria wears being put on him! Lou walked in about 5 minutes after Josh had sat down for make up and said "Where the hell is the other guys, its 5 minutes late!?!?"
Josh said "I dont know they were all sleeping when I left"
"Dammit I'm gonna strangle them when I see them..."
"Lou?" Josh intruppted his ranting
"Huh? What?"
"I was wondering what kinda new act you got for us this time."
Lou, trying to forget his anger, said with a sigh
"Oh shes some..."
Josh intruptted "she?"
"Yeah she" Lou looked at him funny, "Anyways shes a new artist, been playing locally for about a year. She just got signed to a friend of mines label and he showed me her and I was like 'whoa' she's perfect! Shes a real sweet girl too I dont want you guys corrupting her! I met with her and shes very nice and dont think you guys can play her, because shes worked with guys since the start!"
Josh was really interested now "So whats her name, whats she look like.....you know all that good stuff?"
Lou looking at his cell phone said kinda dreamily "Well her real name is Katie, her stage name is Kalliope, and shes about your height, blonde, curly hair, brown eyes and a figure better then Britney Spears!"
Now Josh was *really* interested "Well what else do you know about her?"
"Well shes from Iowa, so shes a small town girl but she can handle the cities. Oh yeah and shes 16..." Lou trailed off as the other 4 guys walked in very loudly at that!

oh well it didnt matter....
The guys went through their schedule and it was lunch before they knew of the new act. Lou had simply mentioned to be looking nice at 7 for the new act, and Josh said
"I will, she sounds nice."
The other guys looked suprised and laughed.
"What whats so funny?" Josh said innocently
Ben said "Oh what you know your the only single one here, so Mr. Pearlman Jr just found himself a little girlfriend..."
The other guys laughed
"Shut up," Josh said as he took another bite of his sandwich
"I havent even met this girl yet!"
Ben laughed and said "That never stopped you before! Well if you want my help I can help you pick out an outfit that wont look like your mom dresses you!"
"I look like my mom dresses me?" J said worridly
"Nah if his mom dressed him he'd have brighter colors and designs like her!" Patrick said
The guys once again laughed. Michael was enjoying the 'pick on J' day, and marc would be too, except he was on the phone to Sarah every chance he got!
J said "Shut up what is wrong with you guys today?"
Ben said "Nothing we're just having fun with ya! If you want we could go tease marc for awhile"
"no thats fine," josh got up, "I'm going to finish practicing anyways"
Josh walked back to the dressing room area when he heard Lou talking to someone. he paused outside the door so he wouldnt interupt anything (okay he was snooping, he'd never admit it though !)
"Its so nice to see you again, are you excited about meeting natural?"
then a soft (but loud ) and pretty female voice said "its nice to see you too lou! Oh yes I am so excited to meet Natural, I hate to say it because I'll sound like a teeny fan, but I am a huge fan of theres!"
"Oh really whos your favriote?"
Josh leaned closer to the crack in the door and there he saw Lou talking to a gorgous girl....wait something was familar.....blonde curly hair, brown eyes, figure like Britney Spears...OMG Josh thought 'its her thats Kalliope!'
"Well I think they all seem nice, but Josh would be my favriote!"
All of a sudden something started beeping, and the girl took a cell phone from her purse, "I'm sorry excuse me a second, Hello? Hi Jim. Yeah I'm talking with Lou right now......,no I havent met the guys yet........uh huh........okay I'll be there bye" and she shut the phone off.
"I'm sorry to cut this meeting short Lou, but Jim just called and said he squeezed in some interview or something so I gotta go."
"okay see you tonight"
"okay bye"
"bye"
and she started walking towards the door

Josh tried to quickly move but he didnt move fast enough. Katie walked out the door and bumped right into him sending her cat purse (yes a purse shaped like a stuffed cat) flying.
"Ouch" she said as she landed on her spiky boot
Josh after realizing what he had done, quickly got up, grabbed her purse, handed it to her and helped her up while saying very quickly "Oh I'm so sorry, heres your purse (look at it funny) I think purse, and I'm sorry." He was so embarassed he ran off before she could say a word. Later when the guys got a break from rehearsing Ben had noticed something wrong with Josh. "Yo J, whats wrong?"
"Oh nothing, I just met this girl and she has a boyfriend I think..."
Ben got that look on his face and said "ahhhh so Kalliope has a boyfriend eh?"
"I dont know, I just overheard her on the phone to some guy named Jim..."
"Ah dont worry about it, hes probably her manager or something...."
"yeah maybe..."
Josh hated admitting it to himself but he had got his hopes up, and when he seen her he was in love, nobody could tell him else wise.
Just then Patrick's wife Mary walked in.
"hey Patrick!"
Patrick put his guitar down, "Hey sweetie how come you didnt come for lunch?"
"Oh I was busy I'm sorry, Lou bumped into me on my way there and he introduced me to this girl named Katie. Lou invited me to lunch with them and her lawyer..."
Josh cut her off, "What was his name?"
She looked at him a little funny and said "Jim I think...anyways and then we..."
Josh intrupted her again, "OMG, Ben you were right!" He got up, ran over and hugged Ben. "Oh god, Mary come with me I got to get ready for tonight I need your help..." he said as he started pulling her away from Patrick. After a goodbye kiss mary went willingly to help Josh.
After going through every outfit he had, deciding they werent good enough, and going shopping with Mary, Josh finally was ready and it was 6:50, time to get into the limo and go to the restraunt where the guys were to meet the new act.
Josh didnt want to admit it but he was really nervous, he wasnt even sure why!
It felt like an eternity until the limo pulled up to the restraunt but finally they were there and at the table. They were a little early so she wasnt there yet. For once in his life, Ben didnt tease J !
Then they came.
Josh had been watching the door for 5 minutes when a tall black man with cell phone in hand came through the door, and behind him there she was! She was dressed with mini pigtails in her hair, and she was wearing hip hugging jeans, with a shirt that was pink with black sleeves and had a little cartoon on it that said "This song sucks!" This time she had a hello kitty purse with her and she was wearing some boots that looked like they hurt. She had just the right amount of makeup on and some glitter.
Her and the man walked up to the table and Lou stood up and said "Natural this is Jim, Katie's lawyer. and this is Katie, your new opening act for this tour! Katie, Jim, this is Marc, Michael, Ben, Patrick, and Josh." Each guy said hello and then Katie said back a shy "Hi" to each of them. Katie and Jim sat down and Ben said "So tell us more, what kinda music do you sing?" And before anyone could say anything Michael intruptted "Wait i know her! You rap right?" She shyly shook her head yes. Patrick said a little to bluntly "A white girl rapper? ha ha yeah right!" Josh said "shhh" to Patrick but it was to late. Katie said, "Yeah well this is to much of a classy restraunt to prove you wrong right now, but later I will" and Marc and Michael at the same time went "ohhhhh" and marc said "she showed you patrick!" and laughed. "Where is mary?" Patrick said as he took out his cell phone to see if she left him a message. Marc said "oh patrick you know shes always late she probably just had to finish something up."
"shut up marc, she'll be here..."
Lou interuptted "I sent her to go check out a new act, i dont know when it will get over."
Patrick sighed and started looking over the menu.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" Ben said
Josh almost spazzed when he said that but thankfully Katie just laughed and said "Your in this buisness, you know theres not much time for love! Actually I've really never had a boyfriend.....but I'd like one!" She smiled and before Ben could move on to the second part of his comment Mary ran in with her work folders and cell phone and said "Hey everyone sorry I'm late that performance just went on forever!"

"Thats okay honey" Patrick said as he helped her sit down beside him. He was happy now. Mary put her papers down and looked up and said "Oh hi Katie nice to see you again! So when are you joining us again?"
"Oh um...when is it?" She looked at Jim
"Ummm next Tuesday" he said
"What day is today?" Ben asked
"Friday" said Jim.
Mary said "Oh well that'll be great! I mean Sarahs never here, and I havent met Ben or Michael's girlfriends yet so their never around either so it will be nice to have another girl around!"
"Your always around?" Katie asked
"Oh yes I'm always with Patrick, also I'm lou's personal assitant so that helps! Besides ever since we got married we thought it would be nicer to stay together when working."
"Oh when did you get married?"
Patrick said "3 months ago tommorow..."
Ben piped in, "You know Marc's married, Patrick's married, and me and michael well we have our girls, but J's single." he said as he pointed to Josh.
Josh almost died with embarssment....he thought 'omg why is ben doing this to me?'
Katie looked nervous and said "Oh well thats good to know" and then took her food as the waiter served it.
Ben kept acting that way the whole night! Whenever something Katie did or liked was mentioned, Ben would chime in that J liked or did the same thing!
When the meal was over Katie and Jim had to leave early. She shook all the guys hands and then she gave Josh a hug!

alright its 2AM I gotta sleepy ! If your gonna add on to this story let me just give you the plot line: J agonizes over Katie for the weekend, Ben keeps helping him out and so does Mary. Tuesday comes and then somehow over the beginning of the tour and the final rehershals J tells Katie he likes her, they date....thats all I got so far lol! The role of ben and micheals gf is still available !

When she had walked out the door Josh said, "Ben what the hell were you trying to pull?"
Ben got that 'secret' smile and said, "Just helping you out, thats all...."
"Well I dont want any help, besides I barely said anything to her all night...."
"Yeah but you still got that hug! Thats more then any of us got...."
"Still....she'll forget Im alive by tommorow!"
Mary turned away from her conversation with Patrick and said, "Oh Josh dont be that way! She likes you, trust me!"
"I dont want to!" Josh said as he got up to leave. He didnt want to wait around for the others.
The weekend past and alls Josh could think about was Katie. He didnt notice, but she was all he talked about! After what seemed like an eternity, Tuesday finally came.
At 5AM Josh woke up (thanks in part to his spongebob alarm clock) hopeing Katie would be coming soon. He was dressed and awake eating ceral before Lou even came in!
When Lou walked in the door it was apparent he was ready for the ol 'i dont wanna get up' routine. The guys had had the weekend off though so he had hoped they would be easier to get up, but the monday morning they did the same ol thing lol! When he seen Josh eating ceral Lou thought he was delirious with sleep.
"J what the hell are you awake for?"
"Just couldnt sleep. Whats wrong with that?"
"Seems suspicious...." Lou said as he sipped his starbucks latte`. He turned towards Ben and said, "Oh well, GET UP YOU LAZY MORONS!!!!!" And the routine went on.
When the other guys dragged themselves out of bed and over to the table to eat, it took them a minute to realize J was awaker then any of them.
"Josh why are you up?" Ben asked groggily.
"Because I wanted to." Josh said hopeing they would all let it go
"Nah hes up cuz his girlfriends coming today" said Patrick as he poured himself some cereal.
"Shes not my girlfriend, shut up!" Josh said
Marc was more awake then usual too.
"What the hell are you so perky about?" Michael asked marc
"Sarahs meeting us when we get to Kissime."
"Oh I see..." Michael rolled his eyes.
Lou walked over to the table and said,
"Okay guys heres the schedule. You're on this bus tell about 4pm. The reason I got you up is because were making a stop in Kissime to do a radio interview in about an hour. After that were driving over to a local station to promote the concert tomorrow night further. So at noon the bus will stop at Burger King, you can all eat lunch, then you can all sleep tell about 4 when the bus stops. We'll be staying at one of those Disney World hotels because its not to far from the Venue and no one will suspect us there. I got you day passes if you like to the amusment park, and you guys will have to rehearse tonight for an hour at 7, then tommorow you have off tell 4 when you have to rehearse, the prep, then perform. Then we're off to Georgia for the next show. So dont worry you'll get more sleep!"
Ben couldnt help but ask, "And when is J's lovely girlfriend joining us?" the guys (all but J) laughed and Lou said,
"Shut up Ben dont scare her off! Shes one of the good ones!! She'll be joining us at noon. And I hope you guys dont mind but she'll have to sleep on your tour bus until hers in fixed and ready. It should be ready a week from now so you better treat her good! Michael, Ben, since you guys dont have your 'wives' traveling with you, you will have to share a bed so she has somewhere to sleep. Now Im going to drive to the station, I'll see you all there."
Lou walked off before anyone could say anything further.
"Oh ho hear that lover boy? Why dont you and Katie just share a bed?" Ben teased.
"Shut up Ben you heard Lou...." Josh got up from the table and ran over to Patricks bed where mary was still sleeping.
"Mary......Mary.....MARY WAKE UP!" Josh said as he shoke her awake.
"What what what?!?" she said groggily.
"I need your help again today, I only got tell noon!"
"to what?"
"To look nice...."
"Oh you look fine!" Mary said as she got out of bed.
"NO No I dont! Please get me an outfit please please please" he said as he made a puppy dog face.
"Fine fine fine! Lemme get dressed then I'll run out while you guys are doing that interview and I'll get you an outfit."
"Thank you thank you thank you!" Josh said happily.
To Josh the radio interview never seemed to end! But Mary came at the end, just as promised, with a new outfit for him.
Even though he was about to drop dead from sleep and hunger, Josh couldnt wait for the damn TV interview to be over. When it finally was, he realized he wasnt ready! But that didnt matter.
The guys all piled back on the bus as it drove to a local Burger King. The driver got out to order the food.
"J? You okay?" Ben asked.
"No no Im not. But I will be! Please everyone dont say anything to embarass me please please please!"
"Fine." They all said hesitantly.
"Josh what is this...this thing you all speak of? Sarah said in her german accent.
"Oh theres this girl whos joining us, shes our opening act, and well..."
"Oh I see! You are in love with these girl! Maybe I could help talk with her or something for you." Sarah said proud of her self for figuring it out.
"No honey, no meddling. J already stole Patricks wife! And hes not getting mine!" said Marc
"Shut up Marc" said Patrick, Mary, and Josh at the same time.
"J dont worry you will be fine" said Mary. Right as she said that the bus door opened again.
"Thank god FINALLY the food is here." said Ben jumping off his seat to go get the food from Larry, the driver.
But instead of Larry walking in with 10 Burger King bags and trays, there was Katie still wearing her pajamas and looking really tired.
"Hey everyone, sorry Im not dressed up! I just figured I could sleep on here anyways so why not?" she laughed.
Ben said, "Dammit, its only J's girlfriend!" And went back to his seat as J hit him on his way.
"Hi" everyone said as she got on. Katie walked over by Mary and fell on the bed that J was sitting on.
"God Im tired! They've had me up since 8! But I hear you guys had to get up at 5 so I shouldnt complain!" she said as she tried not to notice J turning around and starring at her.
"Foods here!" said Larry as he walked through the door with Lou in tail, bringing a bunch of burger king bags. Lou sat them down on the table, apparently 3 bags were his! Then he noticed Katie laying on the bed and said,
"Oh hi Katie I didnt know you were here! I'm sorry we didnt get you anything. You want me to send Larry back in for something?"
"No thanks Lou I dont eat fast food. I'm just tired anyways."
"Ah alright, well then Josh why dont you get her that blanket and then she can sleep? Everyone be quieter!"
It was apparent Katie had fast become a favriote of Lou's! Josh did as he was told and when she said "Thanxs Josh" to him, he almost fainted! She fell asleep in no time, and when the guys were done eating Lou restated their sleeping places. But when Lou got off the bus (and it was already moving) Ben and Michael refused to leave their beds.
"Guys come on I'm tired too!" said Josh as he tried to push Ben off to no avail at that!
"Go sleep with Katie!" Ben said groggily. Michael threw in a tired 'yeah' with that.
'well I dont have any choice' Josh thought and he went and put on a tshirt, and took off his jeans, and cuddled up next to Katie.
He wanted to sleep, but obviously this was going to be a challenge! Right as he laid down, there wasnt much room so he had to turn and face her anyways. Right as he did that, she rolled over in her sleep and was in his arms really closly. 'Oh god, oh god, breathe breathe, sleep J sleep' was all Josh could try to think. But it was a little hard to do. Of course this was made harder because her pajamas were tight and low cut in the shirt, and they were baggy pants that were half falling off! 'Shes 16, I just met her, OMG! shes 16, I just met her...' ran through his head for about another 20 minutes when he thankfully fell asleep. J woke up about an hour and a half and didnt want to get up because Katie was still beside him and he was enjoying it. He just laid there and about a half hour after he woke up, Katie got up and went into the kitchen. There he heard her and Mary talking.

Story
After about 2 and half hours, Mary and Katie just happen to wake up at the same time. Katie and Mary went to the kitchen part of the bus. Looking at Mary, Katie asked; "You think Josh likes me uh? I really like him!" "Mary...did you notice Josh was laying next to me?" I almost died!" Interupting Katie, Mary said: "Slow down girl! Let me catch up!" " Yes, Josh does like you, but you know him, he is shy, and he gets scared. Give him a chance, he just met you, you just met him, and this kind of thing doesn't happen over night!" lol Katie looked at Mary, "How do I act around him? What do I say to him? What do I wear? And for Ben, why does he keep teasing Josh?" I kinda don't approve of that to much. I think it is wrong!" "Katie, Ben is well, like that. That is his way of teasing and trying to be funny" said Mary. Girl, you think Ben is mean to Josh....you didn't see what he did with Patrick and I!! Girl...Let me tell you! I thought Patrick was gonna kill him!
Ok, when I first started working with Lou, I had a thing for Josh. Well, little did I know, Patrick had a thing for me. So, I hate to say this, but I actually avoided Patrick, and kinda just stuck with Josh. Well, Patrick was telling the guys how much he liked me, and how he thinks I adorable, and so on. Well, Patrick wasn't about to confront me, so Ben took matters in his own hands! *Smacks head* All the guy, Lou, and myself all went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. At the time...Benm was engaged, Marc was single, and Michael was with a girl name Tori. Well, Patrick would speak to me, and I thought he was mad at me, so I said to Ben: "What is it with Patrick? Is he mad or something? Ben looked at me, and said.."No, he is just in LOVE!" OMG Katie, Patrick stood up, and said" Ben I will tell Mary I like her when Im ready adn now is....then he realized he has said it to LOUD! lol It was great, after that, Patrick and I started dating,a nd we then started going out, and within about 6 months...we got engaged. I have to give Ben credit, if he never opend his big mouth, Patrick and I would have never probably gave it a chance. I never thought this would have come to be. So, don't give up hope. Get to know Josh, and I'll help ya through. I can even talk to him for you. Katie looked at Mary, "Thanks, would ya really help me? Im so scared and nervous, I would be greatful to you if you could help me. Little did the girls know Josh was listenting in the whole time. He was so glad to hear of Katies' liking for him, and he was glad he had Mary to help him. He wanted to get up, but he thought it would look to obvious if he did. After another hour or so, the guys all started waking up.
of course, Josh was one of the first. Morning baby, said Patrick as he gave Mary a kiss on tyhe cheek. Morning. How did you sleep? Mary asked Patrick. "Very well, thank you. Patrick said. Hi, Josh Katie said in a quiet voice. Ummmm...Hi. Josh said, in a bit of shock. Ben then came through...hey all, how did everyone sleep? with a grin. Good said Mary, Great said Katie. How about you?Ben ask Josh, with a smerk Good, thanks. Josh said with a shy grin.

Ben said as he was on his way to get some cereal, "So Josh why havent you given your girlfriend a good morning kiss yet?"
Josh obviously embarassed stammered out, "Ben I dont have a girlfriend, remember?"
Ben with a mouth full of captin crunch said, "yeah ya do remember katie? See? Shes right there!" he said and pointed, "Besides remember you demanded that you slept by her last night!"
Josh quick to shut him up said, "nah uh you and Michael wouldnt let me in a bed! And Katie isnt my girlfriend, shes just a girl thats a friend." Alls J could think was 'shut up Ben, why hasnt this damn bus stopped? Where can I run to?'
Katie just laughed nervously and said, "Well I better go get dressed" and picked up some jeans and a baby tee, and went into the bathroom as fast as she could!
"Oh great look what you did!" Josh whispered.
Ben said very LOUDLY "why dont you go stand on that chair over there? Then you could watch her dress through the top of the bathroom (the walls fell short of the ceiling.)"
Josh said in normal tone "Shut up shut up shut up BEN!" and ran over to the other half of the bus, to discover the bus had stopped, and thankfully put on his jeans and went into the hotel.
When Katie came out it was obvious she had wanted to impress Josh. She had on tight jeans that fell short so you could see a sprakly thong top, and her tshirt fell just short of her belly button which was pierced and had a tattoo of a butterfly by it.
"Where did Josh go?" She asked
Ben laughed and said, "He got to 'embarassed' so he left! He REALLY likes you ALOT. He never shuts up about you even though hes only known you a few days!"
Marc, on his way to change in the bathroom, said "Josh is nothing but a horny child predator!"
Mary quick to defend said, "Shut up Marc he is not! Age ain't nothing but a number! Besides, how old are you Katie?"
Katie quickly turned a ring on her finger so the front of it couldnt be seen, and after hesitating a few moments said, "Oh um....you know what? I better go check into my hotel!" And she quickly ran off the tour bus.
From the bathroom Marc shouted, "Shes newly 16!"
Ben choked on his cereal and so did Patrick. Mary just sat down on Patricks lap and said, "OMG! Marc for once in his life may be right about something......."
Patrick swallowed his coco puffs and said, "Don't worry honey, its not like they've done anything or are dating."
"Yeah I guess you're right...its just J likes her so much! I wonder if he knows...."
Ben with a smart little laugh said, "Of course he knows! I think he mentioned that to me earlier...."
Mary said, "OMG! Marc I hate you!"
Marc came out and said, "You're just jealous cuz I'm right!"
Michael just waking up came over and said, "Well Lou won't let it happen even if she was over 18! Lou never shuts up about Katie, I think he likes her himself although I'm sure that girl isnt desperate enough to date him!"
Mary looking very worried said, "We can only pray...."
Meanwhile Josh had walked into the hotel and checked in. When he got up to his room he noticed the note left by Lou. It read: Dear Natural, their wives/girlfriends, and Kalliope. I just figured I'd make this easy and say who has what room so no one fights over it. I could only afford one suite, so Mary, Patrick, Sarah, and Marc can have that one since it's big enough! Ben, Michael, and J you can all have room 132, and Kalliope you can have room 133 to yourself. Dont forget practice at 7pm tonight everyone! DONT BE LATE! See you all there and BEHAVE (especially BEN!)

'damn why couldnt I have a room with Katie?' J thought to himself. Right as he plopped his suitcase down to begin to unpack, the door opened. Assuming it was Lou J paid no attention to it.
"ummm is this my room?" Josh realized it was Katie. He almost tripped himself being so startled!
"Oh ummm....yeah, yeah it is! See Lou told me that Sarah and Marc have the suite, and Ben and Michael have the next room and me and you have this one, and Mary and Patrick have room 133." He was amazed at how easily he lied. Then he realized the room only had one bed.....'yay! I mean....dont think....just dont think' Josh thought.
"Oh okay....I thought Lou mentioned to me earlier that I had my own room or something..." she said confused.
"oh no he changed it because he wanted the newlyweds to have their own room, you know just to be thoughtful."
"Oh.....alright. Its a nice room...nice view.....one bed i see..." Katie said with an interested smile.
"Oh um...yeah its a nice room and view. I can sleep on the couch if you want." Josh said, hopeing she wouldnt.
"Nah I guess we shared a bed last night, what the hell why not another?" she laughed. Josh laughed nervously too.
"So whats it like to be on your first major tour?" he asked, trying to change the subject.
"Oh its okay...you guys are all sweet and its such a neat experience. The only thing I really miss is my sisters and my puppy Jenny. Shes a little carrien terrier, you know like to to in the wizard of oz? Shes so sweet I wish I could have brought her with!"
"Oh I know what you mean see," josh took out his wallet and opened it to a picture, "these are my greyhounds and this is my kitty Josie. I miss them a lot but my buddy Billy and my mom take care of them while I'm away."
"Oh their so cute! I like greyhounds too. My favriote dog most of all is those little white pomerinians. I always joked with my sister Brittni that if a guy got me one of those I'd marry him!" she laughed. 'note to self, get a white fluffy dog' Josh thought.
All of a sudden Katie's cell phone rang, "Hello? Hi Ruby! Yeah its going good. Yeah the shows tommorow......oh thats good! I didnt think of that! Yeah I'll have to see the swimming pool and beach while I'm here......Sure I'll bring back some pics. Okay........okay......uh huh.....talk to you later.....take care.......k......bye bye," she hung up and then said to Josh, "oh that was ruby she helped me meet Jim and all. You know she suggested I go swimming....that sounds like fun! I just dont want to ruin my voice for rehersal tonight. Wanna join me?"
Josh almost fell off the bed when she said that! He quickly stammered out, "Yes of course! Thats sounds fun, yeah....fun."
"Great! I'll change and meet ya down there!" Katie said as she pulled out a stringy silver bikini and a towel and walked out of the room.
Josh couldnt fumble fast enough for his swimming trunks. Just then however Ben and Michael walked in.
"Hey child raper hows it goin?" Michael said as he put his suitcase down on the bed.
"Shut up I am not! Besides I got to go....oh and ummmm wheres mary and pat?"
"Oh their coming." Ben said.
"Okay well Lou called and he said you guys got room 134, and Mary and Patrick have room 133 and Marc and Sarah have the suite."
"And I suppose he put you and Katie together?" Ben teased.
"Yes...yes he did. Now if you dont mind I have to go!" Josh said as he ran in the bathroom and put on his trunks and flew out the door.

Josh, running all the way, got down to the swimming area as fast as he could. When he entered he noticed it was empty, including the pool, when he turned and seen Katie in the hot tub.
"Bout time you show up." She teased. 'Oh god...give me the strength to not make an ass of myself' Josh prayed silently. The bikini was smaller then it had even looked when she took it out of the suitcase. Trying not to slip on his butt, he slowly walked over and got in the hot tub. As he stepped in he stumbled on the last step and fell right into the hot water, splashing Katie and making all of her wet.
She just laughed and said, "Be careful you dont need to drown!"
Josh laughed too, just wishing he hadnt done that! He decided he had to say something or god only knows what he would do! So he said, "ummm...thats a nice swimsuit."
Of course when he said that he was starring at the *top half* which made Katie wonder why he said that. She just laughed nervously and said, "Umm thanxs, the scooby doo trunks are cute."
He thought 'of all the swim trunks to pack why the hell did I bring these?' "Umm thanxs, Billy gave them to me for my birthday so i just wear them so i dont hurt his feelings." What a lie! J had begged Billy to lend him the $5 so he could get them !
"ah I see."
after starring at her top for a few minutes, (and we all know boobs make men lose their sense of sanity) he said, "Whoa! Are those real?" Katie got a look of 'what the hell' on her face, and before she could say anything Ben and Michael ran in, screaming, and cannonballed into the pool, spraying both Katie and Josh with cold water. Katie screamed because it was so cold.
Ben and Michael both climbed out of the pool saying "Hi Mr and Mrs. Horn!"
Apparently Katie had had enough sexual tension for one night, she said, "Josh I think I'll go back to the room. See you later." And as she climbed out Josh noticed that the bottom of the swimsuit was a thong.
When she left Josh climbed out of the hot tub and went over to Ben and Michael saying "Look what Im missing because of you two!!!!!!"
"Ah dont blame us! We heard what you said to her before we walked in! We saved your scrawney child raping ass!" Michael said as Ben laughed.
"Shut up! Oh god what did I say again? Alls I remember are those breasts!"
"You said (imitating Josh) WHOA! Are those real? Man no wonder she left I woulda slapped you if I were her!" Ben said laughing.
"Oh christ no! I cant believe I said that!" Josh said as he ran out of the pool area and back up to the room. When he got back up there he gathered his mind for a second and then slid the key through the lock. Katie was there laying on the bed in a t shirt, with only thong panties on.
"Ummmm....hi" Josh said as he came in. Katie turned and looked at him and said bluntly, "hi."
Josh laid down next to her and said, "Listen I'm sorry about what I said! I mean you're a beautiful girl and I just kinda lost my inhibitions. Can ya ever forgive me?"
"well," she said as she rolled over so she was facing Josh, "I guess I could" and she gave him a kiss "but never do it again!" She laughed.
"Okay I promise." Josh said "So....mind if I ask you some questions?"
"Knock yourself out." she said
"Well okay," he said as he put his arm around her, "why havent you ever had a boyfriend?"
Obviously hesistating on answering Katie decided to answer and very quietly said, "well guys never liked me I guess. Also when I was younger I was way heavier.....I moved a lot too. Then I tried the singing thing and made it and well...here we are!" she sounded like that question made her want to cry.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Josh said and he kissed her on the cheek, "you're very beautiful inside and out and guys should have seen that!"
"Yeah....I got to go..." she said sitting up, and she put some pants on and walked out the hotel room door.
'God I'm in love with her' Josh thought, 'I need to tell her badly....Wait I know!' And he got up, realizing he had 2 hours tell practice, and grabbed his rental car keys. He called Billy on his cellphone and told him to meet him at the pet store.
When he got there Billy was waiting for him.
"So J whats this bout?" Billy asked.
"Well I want to get this girl I like something that shows her how I feel, and she mentioned her luv of puppies, and I'm getting her one." Josh said. He walked around until he found a small white pomerinian puppy. He bought some food and stuff for it, and got back into the car.
When he got back to the hotel with the dog Katie was thankfully not there. He knocked on Marc and Sarahs door and Sarah answered.
"Sarah could you watch this puppy tell I come and get it later tonight?" He asked.
"Oh yes this is a beautiful little puppy yes it is!" She said as she picked the puppy up.
Josh thanked her and went to practice. After the reherasal Josh asked Katie to come back with him. Hesitantly she did.
He had taken her to the hotel room and told her to wait there. He ran upstairs and got the puppy from Sarah. He opened the door just so she could see his face and said,
"Listen Katie I got you a present and i hope thats okay."
"Ummm sure it is. What is it?" she asked curiously
Josh walked in and she seen the puppy, got up and ran to Josh and picked it up.
"Oh Josh its so cute! Whats its name? Why did you do this for me?
"Well," josh said smiling, "It dont have a name but it is a boy dog, and I did it because well...I have to tell you something.....come here sit down." He sat her on the bed. She was cuddling with the puppy and Josh sat by her.
"Listen I.....I like you......a lot! Thats why I said some of the stupid stuff I did! I was wondering....if....if...maybe you would like to go on a date sometime...." he said nervously. He couldnt look away from his hands.
Katie put the puppy down and said, "Ummm...I didnt know you felt this way......sure I would love to!" She smiled nervously. Josh took her hand and said, "Mind if I kiss you?"
She just smiled a little more and nodded her head no. Josh leaned in and gave her a kiss. He noticed this must be her first kiss, but he was so nervous it didnt matter! It felt so good just to finally kiss her! He lost his inhibitions again and frenched her. It obviously startled her a bit but she let him. Neither of them could stop! Neither of them wanted to! Pretty soon they were laying on the bed making out.
*Okay its late Im tired, and i dont have enough guts to finish this story lol! Continue on! Nighty night*

After about 30 or 45 min of making out Katie moved back. “What is wrong?” Josh asked. “Oh, I was just going to check on the puppy. I kinda knocked him off the bed; so I was just making sure he was ok.” Katie said worriedly. Josh sat up, “Where did he land?” he asked. I think over next to you. Said Katie. Josh looked over the bed. The puppy was sitting there looking up at Josh. Josh picked up the dog, looked at Katie, and said…”What name are you giving him?” Katie sitting down next to Josh said, “I was thinking…Cotton. What do you think?” “I think it is a really cute name, but it is completely up to you.” Josh said. About then a knock came from the door. Katie grabbed the dog, and ran to get the door, hoping it was Mary. Saying hello, she opened the door. It was Mary! Katie was so glad to see her. “Mary, look! This is Cotton, Josh got him for me!! Isn’t he adorable? Laughing at Katie’s excitement and fast talk, Mary just said. “Is who adorable? Josh, or the dog?” Mary said with a laugh. “The dog silly!! Katie said with a laugh. ”Josh gave you a dog? Wow that is so awesome!” What did you name him? Mary asked. “ I named him Cotton, you think it is ok?” Katie replied. “That is really cute!” Patrick said, walking in behind Mary. “Hey Josh, whats up? Said Patrick. “Hey Pat, not much. I just gave Katie a dog, and I asked her out, and she said…Yes!” Josh said with a happy tone. Knowing the age difference, and knowing how Lou is, Patrick nearly choked on his Mellow Yellow.” She said YES?? You serious? No way! OMG!” Patrick said, nearly stumbling over Mary.
Josh looking puzzled looked at Patrick, and said. “What is the big deal? Why you acting so funny? Something wrong? Patrick and Mary just said…”Nothings wrong, we didn’t think you two would actually go out. That is all. Katie closed the door, and went and sat down on the bed next to Mary. While Mary and Katie played with Cotton, Ben, Marc, Sara, and Michael all walked in. Ben looking at the dog and the girls on the bed with the dog said…”Where did the little rug come from?” Mary looked up and said…”For your info. The rug is a dog, and his name is Cotton, and Josh gave him to Katie.” Ben nearly flipped. “You gave Katie a dog?” Ben said…looking oddly at Josh. “Yea, so? What is wrong with that? She wanted a dog, and I got her one!” “Oh! I also asked her out and she said YES!!! Josh said with a happy grin. All the guys looked at eachother knowing the deal about Katie’s age, Lous’ reaction, and how are they gonna tell Josh Katie’s real age?
Do they tell Josh the truth about Katie’s age, or should Katie tell Josh? And what will Lou say? How will he react, and what has Josh got himself into?

Ben being the smart mouth he was said, "Josh, you do know how old that child is dont you?" Josh looking at Ben like he was the biggest idiot in the world said, "Yeah, shes 16 Lou told me. So?" Michael almost dropped his Moutain Dew and Patrick groaned and said, "Josh are you stupid?!?!? I mean okay I didnt want to say anything because Mary and Katie are friends and all, but I could tell you had your way with her and god only knows how long you two were alone!!! Josh thats illegal and Lou wont stand for it either!"
Josh was upset now. Couldnt anybody just be happy for him? He'd met his soulmate he just knew it and here they were acting like he was some pedifile or something! Its not like he was planning on doing anything with her, or had at that! "You guys are pissing me off, out of my room NOW!!!!!!"
The guys looked a little worried and upset, but they left and took their wives with them. When they had gone Josh grabbed his keys and said, "Katie I'm going out for a drive. I'll be back later." He gave her a quick kiss and left. Now she was worried..... Katie freshened up and then went over to Mary and Patricks room. She knocked on the door and alls she heard was Patrick very breathly and quickly say, "GO AWAY!" She took the hint ! She then went and knocked on Ben and Michael's door. Michael answered. She said, "Oh ummm... hi Michael I was wondering if Ben's here." Michael took that a little offensivly, then remembered Josh telling everyone how shy Lou told him she was, so he said, "No Ben went out to one of those Disney World bar/clubs with his girlfriend. Is there something I could help you with?" he opened the door a little.
"Ummm.. well okay I was going to talk to Mary, but her and Patrick are having some 'happy alone time' and then I went to find Ben and well you know....Anyways do you think its wrong for me and J to date?"
"Come in." Michael opened the door and let Katie in. "I guess I dont know what to think. I worry about that boy sometimes! And if you havent noticed Lou wont accept this...nor will your guy!"
"I know I know I know!" She said putting her head in her hands and started crying.
"Dont cry dont cry, shhh its okay." Michael said as he gave her a hug. "Listen if you really like J, and J really likes you then its fine. See when everyone was helping you guys hook up, they didnt realize how old you were! Now that they do they regret what they did! Listen its okay.....just be sure he's not usuing you. I mean I've known J since I was 16 and hes a sweet guy really he is, but hes never had a girlfriend the whole time I've known him!!! From what Ben found out, he had a girlfriend before the band but she really REALLY hurt him and so he just kinda gave up with dating for awhile....but I mean you know 'be careful.'" Katie looked at him a little funny,
"Well if he is such a good guy then why be careful?"
"Because I mean I dont know his whole sexual history or anything, but you know if I went 5 years without a girlfriend of any kind I think you know...." he paused trying to put it delicatly, "I'd be a little 'forward' with the one I got if you know what I mean." He said.
"Oh......I see....." Katie said a little sadly, "he's just usuing me....." she went to get up from the bed her and Michael were sitting on, but Michael pulled her back down.
"Listen thats not what I meant! I'd almost dare venture to say that J really is falling for you hard. Not just because hes a horny old man! I mean he never shuts up about you. Not just how you look or anything, I mean everything about you he's in love with! He even told me he was in love with you the day he first seen you, but that was only Friday and I didnt think it could be true. But when we went into your guys room and I seen how happy he was, I think he might just be telling the truth. All I am saying is just make sure J keeps his motives pure, thats all."
"Fine. I was stupid enough to even try!" she said as she went to get up again, but Michael stopped her again.
"Why are you acting like this? J really likes you!" Michael said. Now he was curious. He never seen anyone look so sad in his life!
"Its nothing....its just remember how I said I never had a boyfriend? Well its because guys didnt like me and Michael that really hurts, of course you were a damn preppie you wouldnt know anything about that kind of hurt!" She said standing up. As she walked towards the door she turned around and said, "I was foolish to even think I could love! Everythings happend to fast tonight...." she said as she stopped short of the door and very quietly said, "Michael would you and Ben mind if I stay here tonight?" Michael had just taken a lot in in a few minutes. Jesus did everything move this fast anymore? he wondered silently.
Michael said, "Yeah sure its fine. You can have the bed and everything. And maybe we can talk some more."
She reached for the door again and said, "No.....I've had 16 years to talk.....and I'll sleep on the floor.....I just need some alone time." She left to go get her stuff.
Katie walked fast back to her old room. Why did she do anything she did tonight? Why let J do those things he did with her? It wasnt worth it.....was it?! She could barely see she had so many tears in her eyes. When she got back into the room Josh was sitting on the bed holding Cotton.
"Hey sweetie where were you?" He asked. God, she thought, he's already acting like we've been together more then an hour!
"Oh um..." Katie said as she wiped her eyes so Josh didnt see, "I just came to get my suitcase. Listen Josh I dont think we should do this dating thing.....I mean theres so many good reasons why not to that I just cant ignore them.....so I'm going to stay in ummm....Mary's room." She said as she quickly grabbed her suitcase to head out the door.
"Wait!!!!! What in the hell? Where did this all come from?" Josh said as he jumped off the bed and ran to block her way from the door.
"No where...." Katie said quietly. Joshwas about to cry, but he loved her to much to let her go.
"Katie listen who did you talk to? what did they say?" she didnt answer.
"Katie please? Is this about age?" Katie hadn't even thought of that!
"No Josh its not....its just I talked with someone and they warned me about letting you use me and well.....i guess it scared me good." She said quietly
Josh hugged her and said, "No no no! I would never ever do that! Listen come here come here...." He led her back to the bed. Cotton jumped up on her lap. it was obvious they were both doing their best not to cry.
"Listen," Josh said as he took her hand, "I didnt think it was going to be a problem to be with you.....but apparently they're not going to let us! I mean everyones ragging on me because you're 16 and they think i'm going to be some Marc/Patrick jr or something! I'll do anything for you....Whatever you want name it! Its yours!....." After a moment of hesistating Josh said, "I love you....a lot. And I know that sounds crazy to say and everyone wouldnt believe me, and you probably dont either, but it feels so right to say." He gave her a kiss. She didnt fight it.
After a few seconds of that, Katie said, "Well Lou and Jim and all those people arent going to like this....what are we going to do?"
Josh looked at her hands and said, "Well.....if we have to hide it we will! We can date, and we can be happy, and they dont have to know! Listen how about we go out tonight, our first date, and then you can go back and stay with Mary...." she interuptted him, "Actually it's Michael and Ben...."
"Oh...," he said, obviously a little hurt that she lied, "well thats okay too....anyways we can have tonight together and then we'll just tell them we broke it off because it would never work."
"Josh we cant keep that up!" Katie said.
"Yes we can! Lou favors you. He'll always get you your own room and I'll be stuck with the guys....actually," Josh said a little shy, "He did that this time....I just lied so you would spend time with me...."
"I kinda guessed that..." she laughed.
"Well anyways I can come over to you're room and people will just think you want to be alone because you're upset, and then we can spend time together."
"Fine....its better then this..." she said and gave him a kiss.
"Let me call Michael and tell him I decided to go for a drive." she said as Josh agreed. After calling and lieing to Michael, Josh said, "Whelp we got those free passes to Disney World, want to go to one of those night clubs?"
"I'm to young...." Katie said looking sad because she remembered that.
"I'll sneak ya in." he gave her a kiss.
"Alright. Might as well!" she said.

Re: The new opening act
Katie put on one of her nice stage dresses. It was a tight blue little thing and it was shiny and a darker color. She didnt take to long to get ready because she didnt want Michael to suspect anything. Josh put on one of the outfits Mary had bought for him when he had begged her to pick out something good for him. Josh put Cotton reluctantly in the big cage he had bought him, and then Katie and J snuck down through the lobby to Josh's car. Billy had drove it there earlier so J wouldnt have to use a rental. The drive wasnt long really but all 5 minutes seemed really ackward. To break the silence Josh said, "This is actually kinda exciting. I havent been on a date in awhile...."
Katie said shyly, "I know what you mean."
When the got to the club the bouncer didnt even check for ids on Katie, just Josh because he was so short! When they got inside they kinda eased up. Neither of them wanted to drink so they had some fun on the dance floor. J ordered some food and they sat talking at one of the tables.
"So are you having fun?" Josh asked with a smile as he scooted closer to Katie, and put his arm around her.
"Yeah actually I am." she smiled.
"Are you sure you dont want to stay in my room tonight?" Josh asked with a kiss
"I do.....but Lou will have our heads!"
"Well maybe you could just stay a few hours...." he said as he rubbed her leg. Katie was actually okay with all this and she was just about to say okay when she seen someone leaving the dance floor with a pretty girl at his side.
"OMG Josh Ben's here! OMG I completly forgot!" She said as she scooted away from Josh.
Josh's eyes got big when he finally realized what that meant. "Oh god we gotta leave! Or Ben will have me in even more trouble!"
"Alright lets go." They quietly and *thankfully* snuck out without Ben or his girlfriend noticing.
When they finally got back into their hotel room Katie noticed Josh locked the door.
"Thank God we made it back alive" he laughed.
"yeah..." Katie said.
"Do you think Ben or anyone we know seen us?"
"No i dont think so..." said Katie.
Realizing they were relativly safe from anyone realizing they were together again, Josh got back into the mood he was in before they realized Ben was at the club. They were sitting on the bed and josh cuddled up to Katie.
"So back to what I was saying earlier...." he laughed a little and gave her a kiss, "Do you think you could stay awhile....I mean only if you want to."
"I wouldnt mind...." she laughed a little too.
They started kissing and after a few minutes it started getting more intense. Katie kept thinking of what Michael had said, but she was ignoring it.....
After about an hour things were really getting heated. They didnt even notice it was almost 1AM! Soon after that Josh asked if he could take off her dress and she let him. Before they could stop themselves they had gone all the way! It wasnt until afterwards when they were both laying their that they had realized just what they quite had done...It seemed okay except for the fact that Katie had to leave. Before either of them could say a word, there was a knock on the door. *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* "Josh are you there?" It was Michael.
"Oh crap!" Josh said quietly. He made the quiet gesture and they both tried their best to be quiet, hopeing Michael didnt have a way to get in.
"JOSH! *knock* Fine....be that way....I KNOW SHES THERE!" And the knocking stop and Michael had left.
"I better go...." said Katie
"Oh do you have to?" Josh said with a kiss
"I'm already in trouble I dont have to be in more!" She got up and put her original clothes on and wiped off the makeup and combed her hair.
After a 5 minute good bye Katie left. When she walked back to Michael's hotel room, she found Michael sitting on the bed with his arms crossed.
"So, where were you?" he asked. He didnt know Katie that well, but he was really worried about her...that was odd for him.
"Oh um...I went to the bookstore. I just luv that new age section and I found a good book to help deal....with...well you know...Anyways I forgot my purse so i didnt buy it but i read a bit of it, I must've got carried away!" she casually laughed.
"I dont believe you Katie...why would you lie to me?"
"I'm not! Oh god now you hate me too!" she said as she sat down on the floor with a blanket to sleep with.
"I dont hate you its just...well suspicious but if you want me to trust you then I will I guess...here..." he said as he picked her up, "sleep in the bed, I'll sleep on the floor and Ben will be with his girlfriend all night."
"No you sleep in the bed Michael I wont intrude." Katie said.
"Fine I will....but I'm sleeping by you! You must be upset about Josh...." he said as he crawled into the bed.
What could Katie do? She just had to play along and she thought Josh would understand! When Michael thought she was asleep he put his arms around her. He felt sorry for her about Josh and all...he noticed how pretty she was....and then he realized what he was feeling and he told himself no. The next morning Katie woke up to Michael clinging on to her. After fighting her way out of his arms she went and got a shower. Michael, meanwhile woke up and realized he had to go to the bathroom really REALLY bad. Being to tired to remember Katie was there he just walked into the bathroom where katie had just happened to step out of the shower!
Michaels eyes got huge and his mind went still. Katie screamed and shut the shower curtain. Michael mumbled a sorry and ran out. When he went into Patrick and Marys room to use the potty after that alls he could think was 'I can see how she corrupted J! OMG shes so beautiful! I luv my girlfriend, i luv my girlfriend......' Katie and J met in his room to have breakfast.
"I missed you so so much last night" J kept saying over and over again.
"I missed you too." Katie said.
Right then Mary walked in on them kissing! The only thing she could say was,
"What the hell is this?"
They both jumped a mile! Katie gave Josh a goodbye hug and went with Mary. Mary took her to her room and shut the door *forgetting to lock it*.
"Katie what the hell? You cant be with J Im sorry but Im you're friend and it isnt right!"
"Listen Mary I'm sorry its just....I think I'm in love...."
"YOU CANT BE IN LOVE YOU'VE KNOWN HIM LESS THEN A WEEK!!!!"
"YES I can! Listen please accept this and dont tell anyone. You're my friend! Please" Katie begged.
Mary put her hand on her head and sighed,
"Fine I accept it only because I know J's a good guy. Now tell me everything! I swear I won't tell."
"Okay well...you promise everything I say you wont tell ever again?"
"I promise!"
"Okay" Katie sighed, right then Patrick and Marc were outside the door as they heard Katie begin her story. They both waited because they just had a 'feeling' they should.'
"Okay" she began again, "Last night Josh as you know asked me out and bought me that puppy. Well anyways after I spoke with Michael I changed my mind about dating him because I was scared. Well when I told Josh he begged me to stay, and when I seen the tears in his eyes I knew he luved me! We agreed we would just date in secret because people would ridicule us. So anyways we went out to a club and he snuck me in, and we just danced and talked all night, no drinking" she threw in as mary got the 'and' look on her face.
"Anyways then we came back to the hotel and the mood was right and we....well......" she hesistated.
"What? What did you do?" Asked mary.
"We.....had sex. Then I had to leave to go sleep in Michael's room so no one would suspect we were together."
Patrick, Marc, and Mary's mouths dropped to the floor!
"KATIE YOU ARE WAY TO YOUNG!" Mary said almost angrily at her.
"Mary listen it just felt right! Besides....I was all for it, he didnt force me or anything."
"Well thats illegal none the less! He could go to prison and be labeled a sex offender!!! Katie...."
"Mary please," Katie said looking like she was about ready to cry, "Its hard enough not being able to tell people how I feel and now if my best friend goes against me..."
Mary sighed and gathered herself, "Fine, okay look I'm sorry. But you know you guys cant keep up like this!"
"I know I know" Katie said sadly.
Meanwhile Marc and Patrick recovered from what had been said, and went back to Marc's suite.
"Patrick listen we have to tell Lou and Jim! Its for her own good!" Marc said.
"I cant.....Mary will kill me!"
"Well I cant, I mean I would say things I shouldnt say! Please Patrick she's so young! She obviously is being used by him I mean shes never had a boyfriend, and shes obviously attention starved and lonely and I mean Josh knows this! He hasnt had sex in 5 years and he'll do what he can to get it! Patrick her innocence is lost. We have to tell, and she has to stay away from him!"
"Fine...youre right. You know she told me how her dad was never there for her and she told me how she grew up....I mean no wonder! She just wants love and Josh is usuing her!"
Patrick got up and went downstairs to his car. He drove to the studio where he knew Lou would be working with a new act. He called Jim on his cell phone and asked him to meet him there. When Patrick got to the studio it was the hardest thing he ever had to do. Katie and Josh were both his friends, and he knew in his heart he was doing wrong, but he went anyways. He met with Lou and Jim in an empty conference room. After some hellos Patrick started.
"Lou, Mr. Hall I'm sorry I have to break this news to you. Katie and Josh are both very good friends of mine and the tour starts tonight, but theres already troubles." Patrick went on to describe how and what he heard. Jim almost fainted and so did Lou!
They told Patrick they would handle it, and that if he wouldnt mind that he please excuse them to settle the matter.

That afternoon all Mary could think about was what Katie told her. What was she to do? Just then Patrick walked in. He seemed kinda odd, and Mary was concerned. "What is wrong Pat? Mary asked. "Well, I know about J and Katie! And…you never told me! You know it is wrong, they don't need to be together! She is 16 he is 23, and Lou is gonna kill us! Did I forget u never told me??" Mary looked at Patrick. "How in Gods name did you find out? Who told? Why do you know?" Mary was kinda mad. Patrick looked at her…"I was coming in the room, when you and Katie were talking, Marc was with me, and he had me tell Lou!!" "YOU WHAT!!! Are you stupid? What were you thinking? You know I could have come up with some idea! Lou is gonna kill J, and then Katie! Patrick, have you lost your dang mind?" Mary said as she yelled at Patrick. Mary just wanted to kill Patrick, Mary couldn't believe Patrick told Lou, and Jim! Of all people…Jim Lou? What was Patrick thinking?! What was he thinking? "You know Patrick? I think this is the maddest Ive ever been with you, and if I ever forgive you, you will be one lucky Jerk!!!" About then the phone rang. It was Lou. He was mad, and he wanted to see J, Mary, Patrick, Katie, and Marc, then and NOW!!

Mary and Patrick went quickly to the room where Jim and Lou had told them to go. Them and Marc were called in first. Katie and Josh just looked so nervous waiting. When called in Patrick and Marc told what they had heard, and Mary just hsadly shook her head yes when asked a question, because lou had threatened to fire her and Patrick if she didnt. Then Josh was called in.
"Josh we have proof that you and Katie had an affair. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!" Lou almost screamed at him.
"We didnt do anything!" Josh tried to claim
"We once again, have proof" said Jim
"This is unacceptable! Josh you are forbidden to be around her. I'm going to have Michael and Mary keep an eye on her, and you two are not allowed to speak!" Lou shouted.
"Thats not fair!" Josh was almost crying.
"Its that or you go to jail!" Screamed Lou
Josh just quietly got up and left the room.
Then they called Katie in.
"Katie listen, we know what happened with Josh and that is why you aren't allowed to be around him. I'm sorry but thats just the way it goes." Said Jim
"Or what if I be around him?" Katie said daringly
"Then you'll be fired from the tour" said Lou.
"I see...." she said very angry and about to cry.
Katie was confined to her dressing room tell showtime. Josh locked himself in his hotel room and said he wasnt performing until he could be around her! The rest of the guys were trying to coax him out when Michael came in.
"hey whats going on?" Michael asked. For some reason he looekd pretty damn happy.
"Oh Lou and Jim ordered that Josh and Katie can't date each other and that they couldnt even be around each other, so Josh locked himself in his room and wont come out until he can date her again!" Patrick explained
"Oh wow! So....Katie's single?" Michael asked trying to hide his smile
"Yes I guess....oh and you and Mary are to be around her at all times because for some reason Lou trust you. So heres the keys." Patrick handed Michael a key to Katie's dressing room.
Michael had to pretend he didnt care much. "Oh, okay kewl." Josh screamed something about hating Michael and hopeing he would burst into flames, as Michael walked away.
He couldnt drive fast enough to the venue. Right as he walked in Lou was leaving to handle the Josh situation. He went and found Katie's room and knocked then came in. Much to his disappointment, she was dressed and prepared this time. She was all ready for her first big show, dressed in huge goth pants that hung way to low, and had her makeup and hair done. She had on a Natural tee shirt, but even though she was supposed to be happy, it was obvious she wasnt.
"Hey, what you thinking bout?" Michael asked as he walked over to sit by her.
"Nothing really...." Katie said sadly.
"Listen I heard what happened with Josh...."
"STOP! I dont want to talk about it." Katie interuptted.
"Oh sorry...do you ever want to talk about anything?" he tried to joke.
She just looked as miserbale and said flatly, "No."
"Well you are sure a ray of sunshine." Michael teased. He hated seeing her sad like this.
Just then some stage hands came and dragged Katie out of the room. The guys still had to get into makeup and wardrobe, and Katie was going on stage!!!
Just then the other 3 guys came in. They were all being hustled about getting prepared to go on. When Michael got a chance he asked Patrick, "Where's the little one?"
Patrick sighed "He left. He told Lou he quits because Katie is more important then any damn career, and I quote! Lou's trying to convince him otherwise but he only had 20 minutes!"
"Whoa....Josh would hate me then...."
"Why?" Patrick looked at him funny
"Because....well you know when I stepped out, and then came back in to find J locked in his room?" Patrick nodded.
"Well.....I was out dumping Lisa because I think I've fallen under Katie's spell."
Patrick looked shocked, "OMG Michael shut up! You cant do this too!" Michael just looked away.
Just then right before they were about to go on stage (after missing Katie's performance) Josh ran up beside them and said cheerily, "Hi guys!"
They all said hi and Patrick said, "I thought you quit?"
Josh said, "No I didnt. Lou and me made a deal. Me and Katie could date and be friends, but we cant tell the public, and we cant go to far again until we're married or something like that..." He trailed off.
Patrick just laughed and then Katie came off stage. When she seen Josh she pretended she hadnt and kept walking. But Josh pulled her aside and told her. Michael was saddened to see her happy. It was bittersweet because he wanted her to be happy, but with him!

Michael couldn’t believe this. Josh had actually worked this out! He and Katie got to be together. How did J pull this off? Michael wondered. Well, Michael thought to himself, long as Katie is happy. So am I.
That night after the show, Marc, Patrick, Ben, J, and Michael all went out to diner, as well as the wives, and girlfriends. Katie and Josh were so happy, and so were the others. Well, everyone except….Michael. He missed Lisa, and really wanted her back. But he wondered. Will Lisa take me back? After diner everyone went to the club, and hung out. Well, Katie and J went back to the hotel to just spend time together. Katie moved back in with Josh. That night Katie and Josh rented a movie, popped popcorn, and relaxed. Cotton also laid on the bed with them. Josh looked at Katie, and said: “You do know, I wasn’t gonna let anything keep us apart. I was gonna quit this group if I had to. Katie, you mean more to me then any job career, or anything else in my life. I love you, and I want to be with you for the rest of my life. After a while, I was thinking we should think about getting married, and spending the rest of our lives together. What do you think?” Josh said. Katie looked at Josh, ”Wow! Marriage! You serious? I would marry you in a heartbeat Josh! You are everything to me, and Id honestly quit my career as well, to just be with you! I love you Josh Horn and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me! Katie laid her head on Josh’s lap. As Cotton lay next to her.
In the next room Michael was calling Lisa. I’m truly sorry. I was having a very bad day, and I took it out on you. Would you please ever forgive me? I love you and I want you back! Lisa gave Michael another chance, and Michael hung up the phone to call the airline. He would fly Lisa out to Orlando that night.

He really wanted to make it up to her.....but he didnt feel right. But what could he do? She luved him, and he had luved her a lot, and he could never have Katie so why not? The first show had been a huge hit. It was sold out and after word got out about it, the show in Atlanta sold out too! After celebrating the guys had to leave for Atlanta which was a bit of a drive so they didnt stay to long. Michael begged lou to leave him behind so he could have his girlfriend fly in. But Lou refused and said that either she met him in Georgia, or she didnt come because they had no time to stop. He called Lisa and told her that he had no choice, and she had work anyways so she couldnt come. However she did promise that on Patrick's birthday (a week from that day) that she would fly into join him. The tour bus was going to be packed again. Right as Josh and Katie (with his arm around her) were walking onto the bus, Lou said there was no need. Josh asked why. Lou told them to come over with him. There was a huge tour bus, with the word "Kalliope" on the side in pink and silver letters. Josh automatically realized that meant no sleeping by her tonight.
"Lou you know why dont I stay on this bus? That way there will be more room! Have Patrick and Mary stay too!" Josh pleaded.
"Nah theres not enough room. Its a one person bus, see?" Lou said opening the door.
They walked in to see that Lou had obviously helped pay for it. There was a huge bed (that was permanent and didnt fold off the walls like Naturals) a huge TV on the wall (one of the flat screen ones), and about 3 more little rooms, one being a bathroom. There was also a computer hooked up and a place for Cotton.
"Theres enough room" Josh teased. Lou flatly said no and told Josh to go on his own bus. After giving Katie a quick (lou was watching ) goodbye kiss, he relucatantly left.
Back on Naturals tour bus Josh didnt shut up for a half hour about how unfair it was that he couldnt sleep over there.
"Its not fair! I mean theres enough room for me and her and even two or three more people!" Josh whined.
Patrick, holding Mary, said, "na uh uh! Remember you had to be mr. child molestor, thats why you cant sleep there!"
"I AM NOT! I dont have to discuss my love life with you!" Josh said pouting rolling over in his bed. Once Michael realized Katie was all alone he quickly snuck off the Natural bus and found Lou right before he was getting in his limo.
"LOU!" Michael said panting (he had ran) "Lou thank god I caught you! Listen I heard Katie was all alone tonight and I mean I thought since shes my friend I could stay on her bus because ours is so crowded." He said trying to look like that was his honest intentions.
"Fine whatever." Lou said as he shut his door. Michael was thrilled! He quickly ran and knocked on Katie's buses door. She opened it hopeing it was Josh. When she seen Michael she got a disappointed look on her face.
"Well happy to see you too!" He teased as he walked on.
Katie walked back to her bed where she had been watching tv and said, "I'm sorry Michael its just.....I wish Josh would disobey one of these days and actually come see me!"
Michael came and laid down on the bed beside her.
"Ah Josh is a choir boy if you get my jist! Sleeping with you was the only against the rules, bad thing, he ever did in his life!"
Katie still looked a little sad. Michael couldnt help but stare at more then her face though. She was wearing one of those pajama sets that have a tiny little shirt, and what would qualify as some little underwear for bottoms. It was pink and had a kitty in the middle of the shirt. He realized he was going to be alone with her all night, and no one except the bus driver would be there. And Jerry (her driver) couldnt see or hear anything anyways!
"Dont look so sad," Michael said as he put his arm across her tummy, noticing for the first time (he didnt get a good look the one time he walked in on her) that she had a tattoo and a tummy ring. "I get to spend all night with you! Thats gotta be fun in some way!"
She laughed a little and said, "Well I guess" and she turned to face him. "So what do you want to do? We have a long time before this bus stops!" Michael almost fainted. 'No,' he thought, 'behave behave!! Not only is she to young, shes not interested, she has j, i have lisa, so NO BEHAVE!'
"Ummm..." Michael said in a shaky voice, "we could watch a movie."
"Hmm..." she said as she got up and bended down to find one. Michael's eyes got huge and he just thought what he had thought earlier, "Well i have no clue what Lou left....oh we could watch Scary Movie! I've only seen the sequel. Or a walk to remember, my sister just ranted on about that one."
She waited for a reply but Michael hadnt heard a word she said. She turned around and said, "Michael....Michael....which one?" That got his attention. He had that stupid look on his face still and said, "Ummm a walk to remember is a good one. Besides its a sad movie, im here if you need cheering up!" He smiled, then laughed a little late so it wouldnt look like he meant to say it sexually. Katie just gave him an odd look and said okay, and put in the DVD.
Meanwhile the buses started moving. Back on Naturals bus Josh was bored and decided Michael was the only awake, non married, guy on the bus, and he wanted to play playstation 2 with him.
"Michael.....Michael...." Josh said. He intruptted Mary and Patricks making out and said, "He have you guys seen Michael?"
Before Patrick or Mary could yell, or say anything, Ben half a sleep said, "Oh he left and I seen him go on to Katie's bus."
Josh said, "Thats odd....well at least she has someone to keep her busy." Rightaway Patricks mind clicked back to what Michael had told him.
"OMG!" Patrick screamed, "Mary ummm....ummmm....how do I get Lou to stop the bus?"
"Why?" she looked at him funny.
"Ummm....because...." then he whispered in her ear, "I'm out of condoms. I need to get some for tommorow or tonight."
"Well we dont have to do anything to night" she said quietly.
"Please" Patrick begged.
"Fine..." Mary went over to the driver and asked him to stop. She told him she needed to go get some papers she forgot in Katie's bus. Patrick was even more thankful that she had mentioned Katie's bus because other then Naturals bus was leading the way, he wasnt sure if her bus would stop or not.
Patrick ran off the bus really fast and told Mary to wait for him that he would get the 'papers'.
As all that had gone on, about a half hour had passed. Michael and Katie were watching the movie and Michael kept sneaking little touches every now and then. Katie would scoot away but Michael would just scoot closer. Finally 5 minutes before the buses stopped, Katie confronted Michael.
"Michael what are you doing? Thats the 6th time you've 'accidently' touched my breast."
She sat up and looked at him. "Oh Im sorry I really am its just....I got a confession to make."
Katie was just looking at him funny.
Michael sat up and looked her in the eyes, "Listen okay when I met you Josh had already told everyone that he would date you. Then I seen you and I thought you were a nice girl and that was that. But that night you came to me and Ben's room I noticed thats not only how I felt. I started having feelings and...." He leaned in before she could do anything, and frenched her! At first she was just so shocked that she let him. But then she started trying to pull away. Thats when Patrick came in.
"MICHAEL WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?" Patrick ran in, slammed the door, and pulled Michael off of Katie. He could see that this wasnt something Katie had wanted.
"GET OUT!" Katie screamed at Michael.
Patrick lifted Michael up and said "What the hell is wrong with you!?!? There are so many things wrong OMG I cant belive you!"
Patrick noticed that Katie looked scared out of her wits so he said, "Katie I'll send J over, forget Lou!"
With that he dragged Michael off the bus and back to Naturals bus. Right outside the bus Michael stopped him and said, "Why did you do that?!? That was the most incredible moment of my life!"
"What rapeing a 16 year old?!?!" Patrick shouted at him.
"I wasnt rapeing her like Josh did! I kissed her and thats all!" Michael scream back.
"MICHAEL SHE DIDNT WANT YOU TO KISS HER!"
Right then Josh had walked off the tour bus. He had decided that he would sneak to go see Katie, and he heard them fighting so he paused in the doorway.
"MICHAEL JOHNSON WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?? God I cant believe this! What is she some kinda of seducing teenage slut? No! NO! I know shes not! Shes a good girl and every body in this whole f***ing band is trying to corrput her. Wow Lou was right after only one freaking show! 1 MICHAEL!" Patrick continued on.
Michael sighed and said, "You're right. I dont know what came over me. She was just trying to be my friend, nothing more.....its all my fault. I shouldnt have kissed her its just I wanted to so bad! And I guess some of me thought if Josh could get her in one night why couldnt I?"
Before Patrick even had a chance to respond to that Josh ran out and started beating the life out of Michael. He almost knocked him out!
"STAY AWAY FROM MY GIRL!" Josh screamed, "AND ANd.....shes not a slut! SHE DIDNT GIVE IT TO 'ME' IN ONE NIGHT! SHE LOVES ME AND I LOVE HER!" He said with his final punch. Michael was just laying their stunned and bruised with a bloody nose.
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU ALL!" Josh screamed and ran for Katie's bus.
Patrick just out of friendship helped Michael into the bus. He was very upset with him though. When they walked in everyone had heard screaming and seen Michael and wanted to know what had happend.
Patrick was so irritated that he told Mary to come with him, and that they were going to sleep on the other bus. He told Larry to drive when he seen they were on the bus.
Once Mary and Patrick walked in (Mary had no clue what had happend) the bus immediatly took off, and so did Katies.
They walked into Josh hugging Katie, and her crying on him.
Mary very concerend asked, "What happend!?"
Patrick told her, and Josh (because Katie was to upset) what had happend. Mary couldnt believe it. Patrick took Mary and they went into one of the other rooms so Katie and Josh could talk. Josh was hugging her tightly,
"Honey it'll be okay, don't cry....Listen I'll protect you from Michael, and the world, I will I promise."
"aww Josh" she said slowing her crying down, "its just the fact that so much has happend, and God only knows what would have happend if Patrick hadnt come in!" She wiped her tears away.
"Listen it wont happen again! This is a short tour, only 10 cities, then we're off to Germany and...." Josh let her go for a second, "we wont have an opening act there..." he said sadly.
"Its not fair..." she said in disbelief, "I mean I knew the tour was only a couple of months...."
"I know..." Josh said hugging her again. "We'll come back though, and then we have to take some time off to finish our new cd, and Jim told me you were finishing yours too. Maybe we can see each other then...."
"Okay..." she said trying not to cry.

Thankfully that evening everyone fell asleep. Josh clung to Katie scared to let her go. The next morning the tour continued on. The Michael incident wasnt reported to Lou or Jim, but Michael apoligized to Katie and promised just not to be around her. The tour had to go through 10 cities in all: Orlando, Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, Boston, Kansas City, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Las Angelos, and Housten. Natural soon broke into the top 10 on the charts, and so did Katie's single. They were all in NYC on Patrick's Bday. Mary and Katie went shopping and Mary got him a new guitar customized for his bday. The party was in the posh hotel and right as everybody was just starting to enjoy it, Lisa walked in. Michael hadnt told her about Katie, and in fact he had been meaning to dump her again!
Michael took her in the other room. They had a talk and Michael was a bit tipsy when he had went in, and when he came out it was apparent he had gotten down right drunk. Especially when he threw open the doors, Lisa on his arm, and shouted "We're engaged!"
Everyone who had known about the Katie incident didnt think this was such a good idea...but they pretended to be happy.
Other then that things seemed to run smoothly...that is until Minneapolis. On the way to Minneapolis Katie and Josh stayed on her bus. They had a lot of time to kill and eventually they started getting a little heated again. Right as her shirt was about to fly off Katie said,
"Josh stop. We cant do this...remember?" she said pulling her shirt down.
Josh still in his state of mind said, "Why? Lous not around..."
"Jerry is..."
"he cant see or hear anything...."
"I dont care...I dont want to risk it."
"But we havent....since that night! And now we've been together 24/7 for a little over 2 months...." Josh pleaded.
"When we get to Minneapolis okay? That way its less risky."
Josh got the biggest smile on his face, "Fine if thats what you want, but here is safer."
That night though, more then that would happen!
They got to Minneapolis about 4. Katie was about ready to go on stage at 6:30. There were some backstage pass winners waiting where the singers came to go out on stage. Katie and Josh didnt know that! Josh went to give Katie a good luck kiss, which ended up lasting a few minutes.
"look!" said Tina (a fan.)
"OMG! Shhh....is that J and the opening act?" asked Brittni (another fan.)
"OMG It is! Quick get a picture!" said Tina.
Tina and Brittni clicked away on the camera getting a picture of what had become a little more then a kiss between the two. Josh and Katie had no clue they were being watched.
That night (for even more bad luck) Katie and Josh got the hotel room right next to the two girls!!! The girls were walking up the stairs when they seen Katie and Josh sneak into a hotel room.
The quickly ran into their room (it was a cheap hotel, katie and Josh had rented it because they didnt want the others to know what they were up to.) only to confirm further their suspicions.
So now they had pictures of the two kissing backstage, and pictures of them sneaking into a hotel room, with a story to go with it!
The next day the tour headed to Los Angelous. This requiered a little plane ride on top of bus travel. Katie and Josh had no clue still that they had been caught. On the plane ride Mary kept getting really sick. After she had got up 3 times to use the bathroom Katie asked Patrick what was wrong.
"I dont know! Shes been throwing up whenever we travel, and in the mornings, for like 3 days now! I'm worried about her....Im gonna take her to the doctor when we get to LA."
Patrick said turning around to see if she had come back yet.
No one really suspected anything.....yet!
The tour had a week long rest. Josh booked a really nice hotel for Katie and him to stay at.
2 days had passed and everyone was loving the break. On the night of the 3rd evening Katie and Josh had just got back from their date. Right as they walked in the door the pone was ringing off the hook. Katie ran and picked it up.
"Hello? Oh hi Mary how ya feeling?.......uh huh......OMG Really! Thats wonderful!.....true true........yeah i agree.....okay......see you in a few days.......bye bye."
"What was that all about?" Josh said with a kiss.
Katie sat on the bed and her eyes were huge.
"Well apparently Patricks other birthday present paid off! Mary's almost a month pregnant!"
Joshs eyes got huge and then he sat down next to her, "Thats wondeful! Patrick must be really excited."
"Yeah he is," Katie said in an odd tone of voice, "but him and Mary are kinda sad because he still has to finish his tour, then the album."
"True..." Josh said when Katie all of a sudden intruptted him
"Josh I think we should wait tell were married!"
"To what?" he said confused.
"To....have sex again. I mean we've only....well 3 times and what if I got pregnant?!? That wouldnt be good! I got enough little brothers and sisters at home I dont need a kid of my own!" she said scooting away from Josh.
"Honey...we're careful dont worry about it." before he could finish she intruptted with, "Accidents happen! I dont think Patrick and Mary were quite aiming for a baby at this point in time!!!"
"Well true...." Josh sat silent for a moment, "Okay if thats what you want, then I respect and love you and we will wait. Besides its only..." he said really twitchingly, "2 more years tell we can get married...."
"Yeah....I'm tired I think I'll just go to bed." Katie said.
A few nights later the tour resumed. Josh was happy to see his friends again. It was obvious that Patrick was thrilled about the baby. He never shut up about it!
"....and if its a girl Im gonna buy her lots of barbies and and dresses and she'll have mary's eyes and my curls and and...." he ranted on, but J interuptted.
"Guys can I ask you something?"
"Sure what?" Marc said, Michael and Ben werent around, and Patrick looked annoyed that he had been interuptted.
"Okay I know me and Katie arent supposed to have sex together....but we started again in Minneapolis....please dont tell Lou and/or Jim! Thats not the point! Anyways when she found out Mary was pregnant she decided she didnt want to anymore because she got worried. I hate to sound like a perverse old guy....but this upsets me!"
After Marc and Patrick got over the initial shock of what was said Marc asked, "Well is it because u just want to sleep with her? Or because you want to be married and having kids?"
Josh thought a second, "I dont know....I wish she was 18 then we could be married!"
"Ah ha so you do want kids with her!" Marc said smartly.
"Yes I mean no I mean not right now, shes way to young, and I want to be married to her first."
"Admit it Josh, you wish she would get pregnant dont you!?" Said Marc
"No I dont! Shes to young!" But inwardly he wondered....
That night when the second to last show was over, Josh and Katie got on her tour bus.
"Hey honey I havent seen you in awhile!" Katie said real sweetly as she gave him a hug.
"yeah I missed you too...listen I just want to sleep on my bus tonight..." Josh said in the same tone she had had earlier.
"oh okay..." Katie said kinda worridly.
When they finally made Houstin Josh hadnt spoken to Katie since the bus incident, 8 hours earlier!!! Katie finished the show and still hadnt talked to him.
"JOSH!" she ran to catch him, this was the last she would see him tell he came back from Germany!
"What?" he said kinda curtly.
"Honey we gotta talk. You're leaving me for 4 months tommorow, and you havent even seen me since LA!"
"Fine come in," Josh said as he opened his door.
"Josh whats wrong? Dont you love me anymore?" Katie asked kinda sadly.
"I do I do! Its just I have a lot of thinking to do, okay?"
"Okay....I see...." Katie said sadly as she got up to leave.

Re: The new opening act
Josh wanted to say wait come back, but he didnt because he didnt know what to think. That night Josh felt really bad about what he had done. Now Katie probably thought he hated her, and he didnt he loved her! The next day Natural got up at 6 to catch their private plane. They didnt get to spend the night with their wives/fiancee/girlfriends because Lou had made them make sure they got plenty of sleep. Mary, Sarah, and Lisa all went to meet them at the airport. Josh had kinda been hopeing Katie would come to say goodbye. But she didnt. Mary asked, "Hey J wheres Katie?"
Josh kinda just said sadly, "Oh umm...I dunno....I thought she would come...to say goodbye...."
The guys got on the plane ready for their long LONG flight.
After 2 hours of pure tortue at his own his own expense, Josh just had to ask. He kept thinking about what he had done and now it was time to figure it all out.
".....and if its a boy I want to name him after me, and we'll go play baseball, and he'll learn guitar and dance and...." Patrick ranted on to Marc (who was falling asleep!)
"Patrick," Josh interuptted, "I need some advice."
"What now?" Patrick rolled his eyes. He was so thrilled about his baby thats all he wanted to talk about!
"Well....okay well you know how Katie didnt want to sleep with me anymore? Well I guess I kinda showed her how upset I was, because I really was, and now I think she wants to break up with me!"
"What did you EXACTLY do?" Patrick said in a suspicious tone
"Well, when she came to say goodbye to me I acted really mean to her....and now I really feel terrible about it! I love her so much! God why couldnt she just be older....?"
"Josh why are you so upset bout it? You love her thats all that should matter!"
"Because.....I want to marry her, right this instant! And I want kids with her, and I want her to be wanting the same thing i do....I dont think she even wants kids...ever! Shes just so young.....she doesnt want marriage and/or kids....and she doesnt want sex...."
"She just wants love!" Patrick interuptted him, "You know you are her first boyfriend, you cant go from 1 to 20 like that! Give her time, give her space, she loves you so much..."
"No she doesnt!" Josh intertuptted, "If she loved me she wouldnt care if we had kids or not, she wouldnt care about what people say, she wouldnt care!" He shouted as he turned away from Patrick.
"Josh you are truly insane! Shes 16...."
"I KNOW THAT! I'M NOT A MORON PATRICK!" Josh screamed.
"You should dump her, you really dont love her! I mean if me and Mary had that big of an age difference, and she didnt want kids or sex I would be fine with it I really would!" Patrick said, Marc snickered at that and patrick gave him a punch in the shoulder. "I really would!"
"Yeah well.....maybe you're right...." Josh said as he curldled up into his seat and blanket.
Meanwhile Mary and Lisa had stayed in the US, Sarah had gone with Natural, she was their new opening act. Mary decided to help out with Katie's career and spend some time with her since they were friends. 2 weeks had passed and Mary and Lisa had heard from their guys everyday if not twice! One day on the way to the doctor (Katie was joining mary, then they were going to get lunch) Mary's cellphone rang. After talking to Patrick for 5 minutes assuring him she was okay and she'd let him know how the appointment went, she hung up.
"Mary...." Katie asked, "when a guy doesnt call you, or contact you in any way or form, what does that mean?"
Mary laughed a little and said, "Well why in the world do you ask that?"
"Because.....Josh hasnt called me, or emailed me, or anything since the day before he left!" Katie said sadly looking at her hands.
"He hasnt?" Mary said shocked.
"Do you think it has something to do with not wanting to sleep with him?" Katie asked sadly.
"No....no I dont think that Josh is that way..." she said hesitant and reluctantly...she knew in her heart that it may have something to do with it.
"Well do you think I made the right choice?" Katie asked sadly.
"I think you did! I mean me and Patrick waited tell we were married, and we're fine. Of course Marc and Sarah didnt wait, and there fine too. It just depends on what both of you want."
"Well....Josh doesnt want it this way and I do....so thats not gonna work out huh?"
"It will dont worry....oh were here!" Mary said trying to change the subject.
Mary was going in for an ultrasound to see what sex the baby was. Much to her joy she found out it was a girl.
As they were leaving Katie asked if she was going to tell Patrick.
"I will when I go to Germany next week." Mary said as the drove to the mall.
"You're leaving?" Katie said shocked, "Then could you please find out whats going on with Josh? I think maybe he's cheating on me...."
"I'll find out dont worry. I doubt hes cheating on you..."
Katie worried all day. Later that night she got a call from Michael.
She had been sitting all alone in her hotel room waiting for Josh to call. When the phone rang she practically jumped it!
"Hello?" Katie asked hopefully.
"Hi its Michael." Said a kinda sad voice.
"Oh...hi." Katie said disappointedly
"Well I'm glad to hear you too!" Michael teased.
"Oh Im sorry Michael its just...Josh hasnt contacted me at all..."
"yeah thats what I was calling about. Josh sure has been acting weird. I mean he met Sarahs backup dancer Kaylie and now they hang out all the time. I mean they're like you two used to be....and well...I was worried and thought I'd call to warn you."
Katie was speechless....she was worried and sad.
"Katie are you okay?" Michael asked.
"Yeah Im fine....did Josh say he didnt want to see me anymore?" Katie asked sadly.
"No but hes kinda talked about it....he sounds sad whenever he does though!"
"Well...." Katie said in a shaky voice, "tell him I hope hes happy with Kaylie and I dump him!" she hung up and started crying.
The next morning Mary met her in the studios. Neither of them had heard from Josh. Katie hid her sadness. She was good at that. A week passed and still no word. Even though Patrick called Mary everyday he didnt mention it.
Mary flew off the next morning. She was determined to find out what had happened. Right as she got on the plane her phone rang. It was Patrick,
"Mary OMG something terrible has happend! Josh had kinda been depressed for the last few days...and we didnt know why....but today he blew up and said it was because Katie had dumped him! He locked himself in his room and wont come out hes so depressed! When will you get here? You can fix it cant you?" Patrick said urgently.
"OMG when did this happen? How?"
"Michael said Katie called him and told him that. I dont know if thats true or not...."
"I'm calling Katie and i'll be there tommorow okay!?"
"K luv u."
"Luv u too bye bye"
Mary immediatly called Katie.
"When did this happen?" she demanded.
"A week ago....Michael called and told me about Kaylie and I just couldnt take it anymore." Katie said trying not to cry. Before Mary could add any more Katie quickly said, "I dont want to fix it mary, I gotta go finish my CD. I'm almost done with my 3rd song. Gotta go. Bye." and she hung up.
Now Mary was even more determined.
