Mean while as Patrick and J took Anny to the cafeteria, Anny was squirming as Patrick and J was in the elevator. . “So, are you ready for this dad job yet? You think you might can do it?” Patrick asked trying to keep hold of Anny.. “Yea...Im ready. Im very excited, and I feel it will be a real job, but…I can do it.” J responded. “Well, look at her…she is into everything. If take my eyes off her for a second, she is into something!” Patrick sighed as he put Anny down. “Well, I took care of her, and she was very good.” J replied. With a laugh…”Well, you aren’t her father, and man, she gives me a run for it! I swear! Anny…don’t press those buttons!” Patrick said.
Patrick and J finally made it to the lunchroom after Anny pressed every button in the elevator. As Patrick and J got Anny’s drink…she pulled on every drink faucet she could. Anny was into everything. When Anny finally got to the table…she was climbing, and trying to pour her drink on Patrick. “Listen if you don’t sit now…you are in A LOT of trouble young lady! Now sit.” Patrick scolded her. “Awww…Patrick she is just being curious, and she isn’t trying to be bad. She is just being a baby.” J said in a baby like talk. “J, is she your kid, or mine? I will tell Anny when I mean business. Please…don’t make her think it is funny…when it is, but she needs to stop.” Patrick said kinda irritated. “Anyway, J you have to be up and guide them in the right direction, but you can’t be mean. You have to tell them right from wrong. Like now…Anny is being a lil butt, but you have to control your cool, and just let her know in a calm and cool manner.” Patrick told J. “Anny King…Stop! No mama…we do not throw food, or our drinks on people!” Patrick said as he wiped the food and water off him. Anny just looked at Patrick and laughed. “Oh yea Patrick…you are tough! I think she is following.” J said as he tried hard not to laugh. “J! Please…stop laughing! You aren’t helping. Anny, please get over here…NOW!” Patrick said as her ran after her. J sat at the table watching Patrick run Anny down. Man, she was much better for me. Maybe she doesn’t like him. Or maybe she is mad at him cause she knows of the new baby. J thought as he sat at the table. After a 5 min run, Patrick finally made it back to the table. Just as Patrick sat down…”Wap”, Anny had hit him in the face with her chocolate pudding. J just couldn’t resist…he fell over laughing. “Anny!!! Why did u do that! That is a NO, NO!!” Patrick said really ticked this time. For the first time ever, Patrick smacked Anny on the hand. “No mama, DO NOT throw your food! NO! Anny just laughed harder, and so did J! “Let’s go, we are going to see mommy now. Anny hold my hand, and let’s go!” Patrick said in an anger of a tone. J just couldn’t stop laughing. “Shut UP! You aren’t helping!” Patrick said as he snapped at J. Patrick took Anny’s hand any led her to the elevator. But, before they left, J got Katie a sandwich, and a water. J and Patrick rode the elevator in silent, well except for J laughing. Patrick just held Anny’s hand in silent.

After a few moments of silence Josh said finally a little before they got there, "Okay Patrick whats up? I never thought you could get so mad over something stupid!"
Anny just looked at both of them, she finally had realized she had made her daddy upset.
"Nothings wrong....I'm just doing a bad job as a daddy....I need a break....I love Anny but she drives me up the wall sometimes!" Patrick said sadly.
"Your not a bad daddy, kids annoy parents, its in their genes!" Josh laughed, "Sides you gotta admit that putting thing was kinda funny."
"No it wasn't....now half my clothes have stains of some kind on them, all from Anny..." Patrick said.
Just then they got to Katie's floor
"What happened?" Mary asked Patrick as she got up, he had let go of Anny's hand and let her run free.
"Nothing, Anny just spilled pudding on me." Patrick said.
Josh laughed and said, "Yeah it was great, here honey I brought you a sandwhich...hey how come your not holding Maia?" Josh said concerned as he handed Katie the sandwich.
"Because shes sleeping, and I want to too.....Josh, honey..." Katie said as she opened the sandwich, "this is a ham sandwich....you know I dont eat meat..."
"oh god I'm sorry honey I just got it in a hurry because of Anny! Here I'll go over to that Chinese place and get you some noodles...." he said quickly....though he'd already picked up his dear Maia.
"No its fine...I'm just going to sleep...Mary, Patrick, Anny, if you 3 dont mind I think I need some rest." Katie said tiredly.
"Okay sure...I can sympathize! Anny no, leave daddy alone come on now..." Mary said as she picked her up, and her and Patrick left.

On the way home Patrick and Mary didn’t talk much, and Anny knew she was in trouble, so she didn’t make much noise. After about 15 minutes into the ride Mary looked over at Patrick trying not to laugh, and said…” Well, now I know if you really start to get bossy and get to me...I'll throw my pudding on you!” as she laughed really hard. Patrick just gave her an irritated and angry stare. "Well, if this new one is another girl...we can always try again for a boy. I want a boy.” Patrick said. “NO WAY!” Mary said. “Id honestly like a son, and if this one isn't a boy, I want to try for a boy!" Patrick snapped. He was still kinda mad at Anny for pouring her pudding on him. Mary just looked at Patrick in a irritated way and said…”hahaha...NO! We aren't having another one! Besides...we are having a boy. So, chill." "OMG! Are you serious! OMG! Patrick was thrilled he was so happy of the news. He has always wanted a son, but he didn’t know if he would have one. Because Patrick was loud with excitement, Anny began to cry. She thought dad was mad, and she knew he has never gotten that loud before. “Awwww…. Anny, don’t cry. Daddy isn’t mad. He is happy about the new baby.” Mary turned to Anny who was in her car seat in the back. “Patrick, she thinks you’re mad at her. You need to make her feel better.” Mary said as she smacked Patrick on the arm. “Anny, daddy loves you. Im not mad. You are my lil angel. Don’t cry sweetie.” Patrick said in a sad voice. Finally, Patrick, Mary, and Anny got home. Patrick got out and picked Anny up. As he held her he gave her a kiss, and held her tightly as she started to clam down. After a few minutes, Anny stopped crying.
After they got in the house, Patrick went to put Anny down for a nap. She was getting tired, and she was starting to fall asleep in his arms. After 10 minutes of rocking her, Anny was asleep. Patrick laid Anny in her bed, and closed the door. Patrick went back in the bedroom where Mary was. “Hey, how long have you known of this? You know the baby.” Patrick said as he rubbed Mary’s tummy. “A week. I didn’t say anything cause I was gonna surprise you, but since you got mad at me, and Anny, and insisted you wanted a boy. And you were gonna keep trying for a boy till you got it. I just thought Id tell you before you lost your mind! You seemed to forgot I would be involved!” Mary said in an irritated tone. Baby Im so sorry. I was just ticked off with Anny, and I wasn’t thinking. I would never make you have another baby unless you wanted one. Besides…I would be happy with whatever we had. Im sorry.” Patrick said. “Well, it’s ok. I knew you probably weren’t thinking, and Id honestly try again if this baby wasn’t a boy. I know how bad you wanted one, and I was willing to have one more.” Mary said as she sat on Patrick’s lap. Patrick put his arms around Mary, and gave her a kiss. “I love you, and you’re the greatest.” Patrick replied. “So, what do you want to name him? Any ideas?” Mary asked with a laugh. She already knew. what they’d call him. With a light laugh Patrick said…”Why not Patrick Bruce King 111?” “What a great idea. Id never thought of that!” Mary said with a laugh. Mary was only 5 ½ months pregnant, and was ready for this to be over. “You know, I was wondering after this baby, if the guys might like to try and get back together. You know? Bring Natural back.” Patrick said. “What can it hurt? That would be fun to see you guys all back together and singing again.” Mary said. Patrick was sitting on the bed while Mary folded some clothes and straightened up. “Hey, give my your shirt, and I’ll quickly wash it before the pudding sets in.” Mary said with a laugh. Patrick took off his shirt and handed it to Mary. “Boy, she did a number on your shirt! What did you do to make her do this?” Mary asked, as she laughed hard. “I ran her down, cause she tried to leave, and when I put her back in the chair…”Wap” she hit me.” Patrick said with a little laugh. “Man it is cold in here!” Patrick said with a shiver. “You idiot. Put on a shirt, and you might warm up!” Mary said with an odd look. “You saying you don’t like me with out a shirt on?” Patrick said sarcastically. “Hahaha…put on a shirt Romeo!” Mary said as she rolled her eyes at him. “You don’t! I can tell!” Patrick said. “Patrick…you look GREAT without a shirt! But you said you were cold, so I said..put a shirt on. Geez, you can leave it off for all I care! Just don’t be so annoying.” Mary said. Patrick went to the closet to find a shirt. “Well, I don’t see a good one, I’ll have to go topless for now.” Patrick said with a laugh. “FINE!” Mary said as she walked out of the room to the guestroom. Patrick followed her. “What is wrong? I was just trying to joke with you.” Patrick said curiously. “Patrick, Im tired, pregnant, and I am just not in a joking, or teasing mood. I don’t feel great, and Im exhausted. Please, don’t be mad, I just don’t feel that great.” Mary said in a tired voice. “Im sorry, I was just trying to joke around with you, and flirt with you. I won’t bother you.’ Patrick said kinda sadly. Mary turned around. “Patrick, Im sorry, Im just tried of being pregnant, and Id honestly like to go back to work, and loose some weight!” Mary said as she put her arms around Patrick. Patrick sat down on the bed. As he pulled Mary closer to him he replied…”You look wonderful. And after this baby, no more! I think if you want to go back to work, do it. We can find a sitter for the babies. Besides, I think it might be good for both of us to get back into our careers.” Mary smiled and kissed Patrick. Well, Patrick liked the fact Mary kissed him first. That was a first in a long time. Patrick held Mary close, and well things were getting a little heated, till Anny decided she wanted to get up. “Patrick, I need a nap. You take Anny, and I’ll take a nap.” Mary said getting up from the bed. “Ok, I will.” Patrick said as he got a new shirt on, and head for Anny’s room. Mary took a nap, and Patrick gave Anny a bath, and watched a movie with her.

Meanwhile Josh barely got any sleep his first night as a daddy. Katie slept fine (thanxs to some sleepin pills !) and so did Maia, but Josh insisted on holding her all night long anyways! He just thought the world of her! She woke up once about midnight, but Josh quickly rocked her back to sleep.
Katie woke up the next day to see him in the rocking chair holding Maia, just like he had with Anny! She hoped that wouldn't become a habit...
Before Katie could even get up to wake Josh up, there was a knock on the door. It was Mr. and Mrs. Horn.
"Oh hi dear did we wake you?" Mrs. Horn said as she carried in some flowers and a stuffed animal...well Mr.Horn was carrying the big bouquet !
"No I just got up, but Josh is still sleeping..." Katie pointed to him and Maia.
"Oh theres my granddaughter!" said Mrs. Horn as she went to take the sleeping baby from Josh. But he had a death grip on her !
"Josh honey...wake up." Mrs. Horn said as she tapped him.
"huh? uh? I'm up I'm up!" Josh said as he woke up startled.
"Oh hi mom and dad!" he said as he put on his glasses and looked around.
"Hi honey. How are you and the baby?" Mrs. Horn asked. Mr. Horn had just been quiet the whole time.
"I'm good so is Maia. See this is my baby....her name is Maia Marie and shes the best!" Josh said as he held Maia up for his parents to see.
"Oh shes a doll! I think she's wakeing up." said Mrs. Horn. Maia had opened her eyes.
"Oh here Maia, hi honey." Josh said as he turned her towards him.
Mrs. Horn and Mr. Horn stayed awhile, but Josh refused to let them hold Maia! But it was pretty obvious he was enjoying this whole dad routine.
Katie and Josh and Maia stayed one more day in the hospital before the finally went home. When they got there Josh barely even let Katie hold the baby!
"You know I should be enjoying this..." Katie said after offering to feed Maia, and Josh insisting he would do it, "but I'm beginning to feel a little left out!" she laughed.
"I'm sorry honey its just I never had brothers or sisters and I'm just loving this! You can feed her next time okay?" He said, he hadn't stopped smiling since the baby was born!
"Okay...you know while your doing this...I think I'll go play around with my birthday present, I havent got to use it yet!" Katie said as she walked off.
She went down to the basement studio and started working on one of the songs she had half finished before her and Josh had made up. Of course now it was kinda hard to sing, with the message being a scorned ex !
She actually came to bed late that night, Josh thought he'd be in trouble for keeping the baby up, but when he came up and found Katie wasn't there he was actually shocked.
"Oh hi honey Im sorry I stayed up so late...I just had fun singing again." said Katie as she crawled into bed, she was still a little in pain.
"Its okay I just put Maia to bed a half hour ago or so..." Josh lied, more like 5 minutes ago!
"You know...we should tour again, maybe after Maia's a little older, I know you'd like to reunite Natural someday." Katie said as she cuddled into him.
"You think the guys would go for it? Marc and Sarah have twins now! They dont have time. And Michael and his wife are having a baby around Christmas, and Mary's due in Janurary. And then before any of these kids get more then half a year old, Ben and Kyelly will get married and probably have kids too...." Josh said sadly. He really did want to reunite the band even though he had his Maia.
"Well couldn't you guys meet for like an hour everday and just put a CD together? Then by the time your done all the kids should be older, and if we buy another tour bus or two your families could come with." she laughed.
"Yeah but that would be hard on the kids..." said Josh sadly, "if we toured we'd have to leave all you guys behind, and I think that would kill most of us!"
"When theres a will theres a way..." Katie said, she hated the fact so much ahd changed since the day Jim told her she would open for Natural! So SO much had changed.
"Maybe..." Josh said as he fell asleep, he hadn't had a good sleep in awhile.
The next morning Katie woke up to Maia crying. Josh was dead a sleep so she figured for once she could get the baby. She was going to see to it there was a reunion and a tour, even if she had to wait tell all the kids were grown! As she rocked Maia she noticed the telephone near her....what the hell it was worth a shot!
"Hello Transcon Studios may I help you?"
"yes this is Mrs. Hor..n I wanted to reserve some studio time for 7pm on Monday night."
"Okay see ya then."
okay thats was taken care of, next she had to get the guys in on it!
"Hello?" Sarah said in a drowsy tone.
"Hey Sarah is Marc around?" Katie asked.
"No and vell yes, he ist here vut he ist sleeping because our daughters ver up all night." Sarah explained
"Oh okay...have him call me back k?"
"Okay bye."
"Bye."
Jeesh Marc never used to like sleeping in, he always said if he had to stay up for work, he'd do it!
"Hello?" Patrick said, he sounded annoyed and tired.
"Hey Patrick I was wondering if you would like to meet Josh at Lou's studio about 7pm next monday."
"I have Anny...and Mary's not feeling well..." Patrick said hesitantly, he would love to be in the studio again!
"Well I can watch Anny, and Mary can have a break." Katie said, she was determined.
"Okay I guess...see ya then."
Next Katie called Michael.
"Hello?" Michael answered in a normal tone, the first one she'd heard all day!
"Hey Michael I was wondering if you would like to meet Josh and the other guys at Lou's studio next Monday at 7pm." Katie said as she got Maia a bottle.
"Sure that sounds great, Kaylie is with her mom for a week so why not!" Michael sounded really excited.
Next Katie called Ben.
"Hey Ben I was wondering if you would like to meet the guys at Lou's studio next Monday at 7pm." Katie said.
"Sure sounds like fun, oh and Kyelly wants to come see the baby." Ben said, he hadn't been in the studio since working on Kyellys last album.
"okay she can come over anytime." Katie said.
After she hung up with Ben her phone rang,
"Hello?"
"Hey Katie its Marc, Sarah said you called." he said tiredly.
"Yeah I was wondering if you would like to meet the guys at Lou's studio at 7pm next Monday."
"Sure anything to get away from these devils disguised as children! I love them but i think i'll take a nap while I'm there!" He laughed.
"Okay great."
Just then Josh woke up as she sat the phone back down, Maia was just finishing her bottle.
"hey how come you didnt wake me up to feed her?" josh asked a little disappointed.
"I figured you needed your sleep, besides it was my turn," Katie laughed, "oh and I got you some studio time at Lou's studio at 7pm next Monday night..."
"What honey I dont wanna record!? Besides whats wrong with your studio....?" Josh asked shocked.
"Nothings wrong, its just not big enough. And your going." Katie said defiantly.
"What isnt it big enough for?"
"You'll see...anyways here you can have Maia now, I think she needs a diaper change." Katie said handing the baby to him.
"Oh thats the one job I dont mind if you have!" Josh said.
"Yeah well I need to go finish my sleep..." Katie said as she went back into her bedroom.
The week passed and Josh finally got the jist of getting up at 12, 2, 3, and 5 AM everynight. He loved it though but he was getting worn. Monday night came and Josh had completly forgotten what Katie had planned.
"What video do you think Maia would want to watch?" Josh said as he held up 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'A bugs life.' It was 6:45pm
"Josh why are you still here!?!? Come on get dressed (he was only in his boxers and a tshirt) and get going!" Katie said urgently as she took Maia and shooed him into the bedroom.
"Why do I have to get dressed? Why can't I watch a movie with my baby girl? Where am I going?" Josh asked as he put on his jeans.
"Your going to the studio remember? You have to be there at 7!" Katie said urgently, she didnt want the guys to think she'd lied.
"Why though? Are you cheating on me or something? Why do I need to go record?" Josh asked as he slowly put on a different t shirt.
"No I am not, your going and your going to like it! Luv you bye bye." She said as she hurried him out the door and gave him a kiss goodbye.
Josh thought she was nuts as he walked out the door. He hadn't been in Lou's studio since they'd gotten back together! Maybe she wanted to plan the wedding...he hadnt thought of that! Oh well he had no choice, so he drove to Lou's studio. He failed to notice the other guys cars as he pulled up.
Josh walked into the studios and gave his name and they told him to go to studio B. He walked in to find Marc, Michael, Ben, and Patrick all laughing and having a good time.

When J walked in he was shocked to see all the guys again. “Hey! What are all you doing here?” J said in shock. “Your wife called us and told us to meet you here. She thought we might should try getting back together, and work on another album.” Marc replied. “Awww…. She is so awesome! So, how is everyone?” J said. After 30 minutes of showing pictures of there kids, and talking about all that has been happening with each individual the guys decided to try to write some music. “Hey, you know. I wonder if we can come up with a song to dedicate to our new wives, and babies, girlfriends, and etc? Patrick asked. “Hmmm…. Not a bad idea.” J replied. “Any ideas?” Ben asked. “Well, lets write some tunes, and see what we can come up with.” Marc answered “After about 2 ½ hours of working, and practicing, the guys came up with some good ideas. It was about 10pm and the guys decided it was time to go home, and help the wives, and girlfriends. Since Michael didn’t have anyone to go home to, he was going to go over to Js’ house to work on some more music. He and J decided they’d use Katie’s studio to work. J called Katie before they left. “Hey honey, do you mind if Michael comes over for a lil bit, and work on some music in your studio?” “No! That is fine. I don’t mind. The others can come to, it is fine with me.” Katie replied. As J went back to tell Michael it was fine to come back and tell the others it was fine for them to come to as well. Ben said…”Why don’t we all meet at your house Fri. and we can bring the kids, and wives, and girlfriends and give the ladies time to spend together?” “Im not sure if Mary will be up to it. She isn’t feeling to well, but I will mention it to her.” Patrick said. “Well, I will talk to Katie and see what she has planed. That night when J went home he told Katie what Ben suggested, and said all our girlfriends, wives, and kids can see each other. Katie said…sure, Id like to see everyone, and the kids. J then remembered what Patrick said about Mary. Katie said….”Well, I will talk to her. I don’t think she will mind if we all pitch in to watch Anny while she was here just resting.”
Well, Friday all the guys came over with their girlfriends’ or wives. Katie was happy to see everyone, and Mary came because she wanted to see everyone as well, all the kids. Katie and the girls all stayed upstairs chatted, while the guys went in he basement to write, and get the music together. All the kids got along pretty well. Except Katie kept Maia with her, while the twins, Anny, played on the floor in the playroom. Katie, Mary, and Sara told Kaylie what to expect, and what all was involved when having the baby. They were careful not to scare her, but they didn’t lie to her. With a laugh Mary said…”If Michael tries to touch you again… you might try to kill him!” “It isn’t BAD, but it could be a little easier. Just make sure you ask for drugs for the PAIN!!” Katie replied. “Well, Ive never had kids, but Id honestly like some someday…I think.” Kyelly said worriedly. Awww…don’t worry. It’s not that bad, but it isn’t that great either.” Mary replied to her. “After you have that baby and hold it for the first time, all the pain and everything will go away because of the site of that adorable baby.” Mary replied. “OK, Mary…that is such a lie! You never forget the pain, don’t lie!” Katie said with a laugh. “Ok, well, it is unforgetful, but it can’t be to bad if you see yourself pregnant again in a year or so!” “Ummm..Mary you seem to have forgotten ACCIDENTS do happen!” Katie said with a laugh. “OK…hush you! Enough.” Mary said with a little laugh. “I wanted another baby! Seriously!” Mary said. “Not now? You and Patrick weren’t trying to have a baby now? Were you?” Sarah asked. “No! It just happened!” Mary replied. “I thought so!” Katie said with a laugh. “Katie, why are you picking on me? I told you, I was gonna have another baby, just later. It was an accident. I didn’t think Id be pregnant again!” Mary said kinda skittishly. “Well, Mary. What did you expect? If you sleep with your husband…or any guy, there is a VERY good chance something will happen! Remember?” Katie said with a laugh. “Katie…leave me alone!” Mary said with a laugh. “Patrick and I are having a boy, and that’s it! This is the last baby!” Mary said. “Riiiggghhht! That’s what you said after you had Anny!” Katie and everyone said. Mary decided to just go in the basement to see Patrick since everyone was picking on her. Anny was lying on the floor playing, so Mary didn’t bother her. She was being good….for ONCE! After about 3 ½ hours of working on music, Katie, Sara, Kaylie, Mary, and Kyelly cooked diner, while all the babies slept. Well, except for Anny, she was down in the basement with Patrick hitting on the drums while the guys took a break.

The guys came and ate dinner, it was a bit of chaos though! 10 people, plus 2 kids just is a mess ! Finally everyone reluctantly left each other, with plans to have the reunited band meet once a week on Fridays at 7 at Josh's house. That night Josh was just ecstatic. When he crawled into bed he said, "Aww honey I love you so so so much!" with a kiss, "thank you so much for reuniting the band! Honestly I dont think any of us ever would have!"
"your welcome, I'm just glad to see you so happy." Katie said as he gave her another kiss.
"Well how could I not be happy I have a beautiful daughter, and my best friends are back in my band, and I got a beautiful wife...fiancee`" he said the last part sadly and hesitantly.
"2 out of 3 aint bad." Katie laughed.
"You know honey, the baby is born, why cant we get married now?" Josh asked
"Because our baby is only a little over 2 weeks old! I'm still recovering." Katie said as she cuddled into him.
"Well....couldn't we plan it? We could get married on Christmas Eve. Or Valentine's Day or whenever...." Josh pleaded.
"We could....how about the day after Valentine's Day? That way its not specifically on a holiday, and it gives me time to rest, and us time to plan the wedding."
"Okay thats fine with me....I'll start planning when I have a chance."
A chance didnt seem to come! The guys worked non stop on their new album. They hadn't told the public their plans, so only they knew. In December Josh finally realized time had caught up with him.
It was Christmas Eve, and him and Katie decided to celebrate their anniversary just by being with Maia all night. Maia was now almost 3 months. She liked to crawl a little every now and then, and try to eat her presents!
It was about 8 pm and Maia was doing just that.
"Maia honey, no no. Give daddy that present." Josh said as he picked her up and took the wrapped box away. Katie was in the shower. Just then the phone ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey Josh guess what! I'm a daddy! And I'm the first one to have a boy in Natural ha ha! He's so cute he's black haired and brown eyes and his name is Justin Lee and he's darling." Michael said excitedly.
"Thats great, when was he born?"
"About 3 hours ago, best early xmas present I ever got. I gotta go, why dont you and Katie and Maia stop by tommorow or the next day if u can.." Michael said
"Okay we will probably tomorrow."
After they hung up Katie came out of the shower.
"Katie guess what!" Josh said, he was happy for his friend
"What?"
"Michael had a son, named Justin." Josh said with a smile as he admired his Maia
"Aww thats great, guess Michael will have to take a break from recording for awhile." Katie said as she sat down and took Maia.
"Yeah I guess..."
Just then the phone rang again it was Ben.
"Hello?"
"Hey Josh guess what!"
"What? Please tell me you dont have kids too!" Josh teased
"No but Kyelly just left, I asked her to marry me, cuz she turned 18 in November, and she said yes! Tomorrow we're going to fly out to Jamacia and just have a quick wedding." Ben said ecstatically. Thats when it clicked in Josh's head.
"Oh thats great Ben, k bye." Josh said just hanging up.
"Oh Christ!" Josh said as he buried his head in his hands.
"What?" Katie asked
"Ben told me him and Kyelly are running off to get married tomorrow, that means 1) Michael and Ben and Patrick soon wont be able to do any work, and 2) I haven't planned anything for our wedding and its in 2 months!" Josh said sadly.
"Well since you have this break we could work on the wedding, and its great for all the guys I think....why dont you take a break and resume this CD this summer?" Katie asked, she knew Josh wouldnt like it, they had only made about 2 songs since they began
"Yeah I guess....at least I'll have a wife then." he smiled.

Re: The new opening act
Well J was still pretty bummed about all the members leaving and not working on the album. “Well maybe in a couple months we can get back to work. I hope.” J said as he picked up Maia. “Well, you can always work on the album yourself. You know, write some music, add some words, and after you get it together, share your ideas with the other members.” Katie said as she sat next to J and Maia. “Yea, it is a good idea, but since I have some more time off with you, and Maia, Im gonna take advantage of that.” J said as he held Katie in with one arm and Maia in the other. “Besides! We need to plan the wedding.” J replied with excitement.
After a couple weeks passed Mary wasn’t feeling very well. Patrick had to keep Anny out of the room, and try to take care of Mary, and clean house. It was around mid January, and Mary was really hurting, and was expecting at any time. One day, Anny was just getting into everything! She was drawing on the wall, throwing her toys all over the place, and just being a little pain. Patrick called Katie.”Hey, this is Patrick, are you and J busy?” “No, we were just cleaning, and J was about to give Maia a bath. You sound a little distraught. Are you ok? Katie asked concerned “Yea, Im fine. Mary is just in pain, I think I need to get her to the hospital, and Anny is being a pain. She is getting into everything. Anny…NO! Stop running!” Patrick replied trying to talk to Katie. “J, Maia, and I can be there in 2 minutes.” Katie replied. “Oh, thank you! See you then…bye. Patrick hung up. After 5 minutes of trying to keep Anny out of Mary’s room, and out of things, Katie, J, and Maia arrived. “Please come in Patrick yelled as he got Anny out of the bathroom. “You know, of all days for her to act like a NUT, she does!” Patrick said as he handed her to Katie. J put Maia down on the floor in her seat so he could take Anny from Katie. “Here J, Im gonna check on Mary, I’ll be right back. Mary was laying in bed, and ready to kill someone. “Hey, you ok?” Katie asked her. “Katie…out of all do respect…do I look like Im ok? Im having a baby and you ask me if Im ok? Think really hard on that one!” Mary said in a sassy tone. “Ok, let’s get you to the hospital.” Patrick said as he helped Mary up. As Mary was getting up, she looked at Patrick and said: “If you EVER mention having another baby…Im soooo gonna kill you!” “Ok dear, I love you to.” Patrick said worryingly. He was remembering when Mary had Anny, and she wasn’t nearly in this much pain. All Patrick could think was, something was wrong. He was worried and didn’t really know what it could be, but he felt something was. Finally after getting Mary to the car, Katie ran back to get Mary suitcase. After 3 minutes of getting ready, Mary and Patrick left. The whole way to the hospital Mary yelled and hit Patrick. Patrick knew she wasn’t feeling well, she was having the baby, so all the mean things she said…he knew Mary didn’t mean it. Finally after a LONG 15-minute ride to the hospital, they arrived. Patrick got a wheel chair to help Mary get in. Mary didn’t even have to wait they took her right in. Patrick stayed with her the whole time. After doing a sonogram, the doctor noticed the baby wasn’t in the proper position. After about 3 ½ hours the doctors finally got the baby in the correct position. After another 12 ½ hours, Mary delivered a healthy 5lbs. 6lbs little boy. Patrick was so ecstatic! He was so proud of Mary, and his new son. “Wow, he is so tiny Patrick said as the nurse laid the baby in Mary’s arms. “Yep, baby Patrick Bruce King the 3rd.” Mary said with a big smile. “So, Patrick, what do you think? First a girl now a boy. Isn’t he just adorable?” Mary said as she laid her head on Patrick. “Thank you Mary. I love you, and thank you.” Patrick replied. “For what?” Mary said suspiciously. “For giving me two of the most beautiful children anyone could ask for.” Patrick said. “You are amazing, and awesome!” Patrick said as he kissed her on the head. After 10 minutes, the nurse took baby Patrick to clean him off and get him a bed. “I will bring him back in here with you two in just a few minutes.” The nurse replied. “OK, thank you.” Said Mary and Patrick. Not long after, Mary went to sleep. So, Patrick went out to call J, his parents, Mary’s parents, and all he could think of. After about 45-minutes Patrick came back. Little Patrick was sleeping in his bed next to Mary’s. Since everyone was asleep, and doing well. Patrick went home to check on Anny, and everything.

The rest of Janurary passed and Natural barely got together at all! Patrick was busy with Anny and lil Patrick and Mary recovering. Michael was busy with Justin and Kaylie, and Marc was busy with his twins. Ben was *still* on his honeymoon with Kyelly, they were coming back after Valentine's day (hey they both worked hard, they deserved a long break!) Josh of course, was busy planning the wedding. Maia was a pretty good baby, she was usually quiet, and she didnt cry much (maybe because Josh was always holding her and spoiling her !) Everyday seemed to be busy in Janurary for Katie and Josh. They hadn't spent any time together alone since Maia was born! On the 20th of Janurary they started planning the wedding in detail. The dress was picked out, and all the other little details were taken care of. They were going to get married at a nice little beach in Hawaii. Then they were going to honeymoon in Italy. It was the 1st of Janurary when Josh actually realized he'd have to leave Maia alone for awhile.
"Josh how long is the honeymoon?" Katie asked as she put the dishes away from dinner. Josh was holding Maia.
"Ummm...we haven't booked it yet, where and how long should it be?" Josh asked as he reput Maia's sock on, she liked to pull it off!
"Well how about Italy, I've always wanted to go there..." Katie suggested.
"Italy? Alright only because I picked where the wedding would be. Are we going to fly out our honeymoon night?" Josh asked concerened, he didnt want to fly out right away !
"Well we could leave 2 days after the wedding, that gives us time to rest." Katie said with a laugh
"Okay, but how long will we be gone?" Josh asked
"I dunno, can't we do something like Ben and Kyelly? I want to be gone for at least a month, we're rich, we can afford it!" Katie said as she sat down at the table by Josh and Maia.
"But what about....Maia?" Josh asked as he realized for the first time that he wouldn't see his baby girl for awhile.
"Well I'll ask around, maybe your mom could." Katie said.
"Well she could....but I don't wanna leave Maia alone for that long..." Josh said as he looked at Maia, she was chewing on her thumb
"Well we haven't even had sex since she was born! Every time we try she wakes up and interupts! I think we need a vacation, very VERY badly." Katie said emphasizing the last part.
"I know.....but Maia...." Josh said as he looked at her again.
"Josh you never put that baby down I swear! You can't just be a daddy, your more then that. I mean I love Maia too, but I put her down when shes sleeping! And I wouldn't mind a break from her." Katie said a little annoyed
"I guess...I mean I do want to spend a lot of time with you, its just I haven't got a chance....well EVER! When we were dating we barely ever got to be alone, and then we made up after almost 2 years of being apart, and then you got pregnant and well, we haven't had much time! I guess I'm just used to it..." Josh said a little upset.
"Well get used to it, because just because we have a baby, doesn't mean we can't be more then parents! I'm tired I think I'll go take a nap." Katie said as she got up, it was only 6:30pm so Josh knew something was wrong, especially because she slept tell noon!
Josh called his mom and asked her if she'd watch Maia so him and Katie could finish the wedding plans. Mrs. Horn was thrilled because everytime she came to see the baby, Josh wouldn't put Maia down!
Josh dropped Maia off and drove back. He walked into the bedroom and Katie was just laying in the bed, but it was obvious she wasn't asleep.
"Hey honey, I dropped Maia off at my moms for the night, I figured we could finish our wedding plans, and have some of that alone time we both want." he said as he cuddled next to her.
"I'll spend time with you, and I'll make the plans, but we aren't doing anything further tell our honeymoon night! I don't need another Maia!" Katie said as she rolled over and faced him.
"aww...okay you spoiled some of my fun, but I respect that, I wish I would have 3 years ago..." Josh said a little sadly, "I missed out on so much!"
"yeah ya did, but we can't go back into the past and change it. So what do we need to finish planning?" Katie said as she gave him a kiss
"hmmmm....I think actually everything is in line, I called the travel agent and got us a little suite of our own in one of the old castles in Italy, and I booked the hotel in Hawaii for a little longer." Josh said as he gave her a kiss.
"Ah so you were just after alone time." She laughed.
"I just miss being able to hold you....when I sleep I'm so dead asleep I dont even get to enjoy you then!" Josh said as he cuddled a little closer.
"are you excited about the wedding?" Josh asked Katie
"Yeah actually I am, I just hope it all goes good." Katie said a little worried
"It will, but I got to admit I worry just as much! I'm gonna be so nervous!" he said as he kissed her again.
"Me too...."
They stayed up the rest of the night just talking. Then they got to sleep in for the first time in a long time!
Early Feburary seemed to fly right by. Every Friday, since the band couldn't get together, Josh would send Maia over to his moms house, and him and Katie would spend time together. He realized he hadn't known her as well as he thought he did! But it didn't matter, he still loved her more then anything, even Maia (but he'll never admit it !)
Feburary 14th came and Katie woke up to a kiss.
"Honey you gotta get up, we gotta fly out today..." Josh said as he gave her another kiss.
"ohhhhh I dont want to I want to sleep!" Katie said tiredly
"But you gotta, otherwise we'll miss our wedding tomorrow!" Josh said as he hugged her. Katie rolled over,
"Okay I'm up I'm up!"
Katie slept most of the flight, so did Josh!
When they got to Hawaii they both agreed they would leave each other tell the wedding, although they both hated it. When Katie got into her huge hotel she got a call.
"Hello?"
"Hey Katie its Mary! Me and the other girls are here and we wanted to know if you wanted to come shopping." Mary said excitdly.
"Whos all there?" Katie asked
"Lisa, Kyelly, Kaylie, and Sarah and me."
"No kids?" Katie laughed
"Nope we all got sitters for the few days were here."
"Okay I'm comin."
Katie walked down to their room number and opened the door to a really tan Kyelly.
"Kyelly you dont look like yourself!" Katie laughed
"Nope, me n Ben spent a lot of time in the sun..." Kyelly said with a laugh
"Whoa, your fans wouldn't believe this! Their rocker idol tanned and married to a boyband member!" Katie laughed. Kyelly had exploded on to the rock scene with her CD's that Ben and Michael had helped produce. Her fans had no clue she'd even dated Ben let alone married him!
Katie walked in to find her friends all different. Mary and Sarah and Kaylie had mostly regained their figures. Lisa was happily showing off her engagment ring, her wedding was next she insisted!
As the girls shopped Mary asked, "So how ya feeling?"
"Not good, I'm way to nervous, and I really dont know why!" Katie said as she looked through a rack of clothes
"Nah dont ve, I vet J ist more nervous den du!" Sarah said with a laugh.
"Yeah he is, Billy called me and said Josh was a wreck!" Lisa said.
"Oh whats Josh doin?" Katie asked
"Billy said he just keeps asking questions and making up worst case scenarios, he wont even have a bachelor party because he doesnt want to be hung over!" Lisa laughed a lil
"aww thats so sweet." Katie said.
Meanwhile Billy hadn't lied, Josh was spazzing! A little after he got to his hotel room the guys called him.
"hello?"
"Hey Josh can we come up?" It was Billy
"Sure, since me and Katie aren't going to see each other tell....tomorrow." Josh said.
"Alright see ya then."
The guys came in shortly after.
They decided that even if Josh didnt want a bachelor party, they'd have one for him in his honor ! Marc brought a few 6 packs of Bud and they decided to watch TV because they didnt want to hire a stripper (well okay they considered it, but decided against it lol!)
"So are ya nervous?" Marc asked as he opened his 2nd beer.
"Yes so so much! I just want to wake up and have it over with!" Josh said nervously.
"You know if you drank a lil you'd be a little more relaxed, thats how I got through the night before my wedding!" Marc said as he took a sip
"Me too!" Replied Ben, Michael, and Patrick
"How much did you drink?"
"Only a few..." they each said.
"Yeah well I'm not gonna risk it, I need to NOT have a hangover, throwing up over Katie is the last thing I want to do, and I might do that anyways with how nervous I am!" Josh said worridly.
The guys stayed mostly in Josh's hotel room that night, and the girls stayed in Katie's.
The next morning Josh woke up at 5AM!
"Marc....Marc wake up!" Josh said as he tried to shake Marc (who was now slumped on a chair) awake
"wha huh? Sarah you watch the twins today, I dont feel so good..." Marc said groggily
"I'm not sarah I'm Josh! Wake up!"
"What the hell? Josh its 5 AM I just went to bed an hour ago! I'm sleepin!" Marc said as he rolled over and passed out asleep.
"Billy....Billy...." Josh said as he tried to wake Billy up
"What?" Billy said tiredly, he was used to Josh doing this, he'd done it everytime something big in his life was happening (also it helped that Billy hadn't drank much !)
"Help me get ready!" Josh said excitdley
"Ya know Josh, why dont you call Maia and tell her all about it? Besides your wedding isn't until 6pm!" Billy said as he shut his eyes again
"Fine I will call Maia, but then at 7 your getting up and helping me!" Josh said firmly.
He called Maia (who was in a dif time zone, so it was like 10 am there) and talked to her and his mom awhile. He talked to his dad too.
By the time Billy woke up it was noon, the other guys didn't wake up tell about 2 (lol!)
The minute Katie and Josh got in the limo Josh could barely control himself! After makeing out for about 5 minutes, it was getting pretty heated (it was only a 15 minute ride !)
But before anything much could happen, they pulled up at the hotel. They were both so glad just to be finally married! The 2 days in Hawaii passed, then 2 weeks in Italy passed and they just enjoyed every minute of it. The next monday Katie wasn't feeling so good. When Josh got out of the shower she was laying on the bed.
"Whats wrong honey?" Josh asked concerened
"I dont know...I feel like I did when I was going to have Maia!" Katie said VERY concerned.
"Oh god.....do you think...?" Josh asked as he gave her a kiss on the forhead.
"I dont know what I think!" Katie said as she got up to run into the bathroom and throw up.
Josh scheduled an appointment with a doctor for the next day
All night they both worried.
"Josh I dont want another baby...." Katie said about an hour later. Josh had just been layin next to her holding her.
"I know....well we just have to wait..." Josh said as he kissed her cheek
"I hate waiting....I dont want a baby....I'm having my tubes tied after this if I'm pregnant!" Katie said as she closed her eyes
"Alright....2 kids I guess is okay...." Josh said worried
The next day they both waited patiently as the doctor took test and finally read a result
"Well your not pregnant, you just have the flu." the doctor said as he read out his prescription. Katie almost screamed she was so happy! Josh tried to hide it, but he was actually really disappointed.
On the way back to the hotel Katie said,
"Oh I am so glad I'm not pregnant! I havent been this glad to be sick since I was in school! Oh wait....honey you'll probably get sick....im sorry." Katie said as she opened her eyes a little.
"Oh its okay...it wont last more then a day or 2, and the doctor said you should be better tomorrow." Josh said tonelessly
"Yeah...are you okay honey? You sound different..." Katie said concerned.
"Oh....a yeah I'm fine just upset that your sick, I'm sorry honey!" Josh said as he held her hand
Josh didnt say much when they got back. Katie laid down and took a nap. Josh kinda sat mopeing around because all of last night all he could think of was what if he was gonna be a daddy again. Now he was kinda let down. He'd actually cried but he didnt want Katie to know! Katie slept pretty much for the rest of the night. Josh decided about 6 (they'd gotten back at 3pm) that he was going to go get something to eat. He left her a note just in case she woke up.
He drove to a local cafe and ate some soup there. He decided he'd call Patrick though he had know clue what time it was in America!
"hello?" Patrick said, it was 11AM where he was
"Hey Patrick its Josh."
"Oh hey how come your calling me on your honey moon? Whats wrong?" Patrick hadn't even remembered what a phone was during his honeymoon lol!
"Katie has the flu, and we thought maybe she was pregnant all last night, but nope..." Josh said as he played with his soup.
"Ah I see...so whats wrong other then her being sick? Are you sick too?"
"Not yet, but I probably will be. I guess I was just kinda well...I got my hopes up."
"What do you mean are you insane!? This is the first time in your life you can be alone with her, and not have kids or anything, and you want one!?" Patrick laughed, "Your nuts Josh!"
Josh thought a second and then said, "Your right, I love spending time with Katie, I've really gotten to know her so well! But I couldnt help but want maybe one more kid...I mean it would have been nice...." Josh said as he looked at his soup again
"Well enjoy the time you have with only 1 kid, Anny is driving me nuts and Lil Patrick wont stop crying! I gotta go talk to you later." Patrick said as he hung up.
When Josh got back to the hotel Katie was still sleeping and he realized he didnt feel so good. By the next morning when Katie felt better, Josh was throwing up!
"Honey are you okay?" Katie asked
"No....I got the flu now!" Josh said.
The next day Josh was thankfully better. The rest of their honeymoon went well, and Josh didnt mention the baby.

About 3 Katie was getting ready for the ceremony.
"Okay Katie you look so beautiful!" Mary said.
Katies dress was actually a form fitting one that went down to the floor, and it had light silver sparkles on it. She had her hair all down and it was wavy and blonde. The makeup matched her dress, and she had on a veil. Mary, Sarah, Kyelly, Kaylie, and Lisa were all bridesmaids, and Mary was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids and maid of honor wore dresses of the same style as Katie's, but theirs were all light blue.
"Aww thanxs Mary, god I'm so nervous! I wonder how Josh is doing....." Katie said as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"I'm sure he's fine, Lisa went to check remember? Besides aren't you hungry? You haven't eaten all morning!" Mary said a little concerned
"I'm fine, I ate breakfast, I'm not really hungry though! I just want today to end!" Katie said, she was so nervous she was almost shaking
"We're here!!!" said Pam and the rest of Katie's family as the came into the small room.
"OMG mom I didnt think you could make it!" Katie said, she really didnt know they were coming
"Well Josh flew us out, and we brought someone..." she said as Brittni walked in holding Maia.
"Oh Maia!" Katie said as she picked her up
"Yeah Mrs. Horn's here too, her and Mr. Horn flew in after Josh called them." Pam said as she went to change into her dress.
"Hey Katie," said Lisa as she walked into the room.
"Oh hi Lisa how's Josh?" Katie asked quickly
"Hes excited, and nervous! He even threw up once, but hes okay now." Lisa said as she sat down
A few hours later it was time.
"Katie come on, its your cue!" Lisa said as she dragged Katie out into the manmade aisly.
Katie walked down the aisle, to some pretty harp music but not the traditional 'bridal march.' She got up to the altar and Josh was there. He looked so nervous. The priest started out and said the traditional boring stuff. Katie and Josh just looked into each others eyes and held hands. Then they both said I do.
"I know pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride" Said the priest. Josh didnt hesitate on that! He'd been starring at her almost an hour, he was ready ! The french kiss lasted about 2 minutes before Josh remembered all of their family and friends were there! The reception was a blast! Hey its Feburary in Hawaii, not that bad . The reception was actually part inside part outiside. It was on the deck of a house they rented, but people were celebrating inside too. Josh and Katie sat at the table. After eating for the first time in awhile Katie said, "So hows it feel to be married finally?"
"Its great, I gotta admit I was so worried something would go wrong...but it didnt! I love you..." Josh said as he gave her a kiss. hey its his wedding night he can be over friendly in public if he wants! As most of the guest ate and drank, Katie and Josh were pulled away from each other for a few moments so they could talk to their friends. Josh went to talk with his friends, so Katie figured she'd go speak with hers.
"Hey!" Katie said as she walked over
"Oh hi congrautlations!" Kyelly, Kaylie, Lisa, Sarah, and Brittni said as she sat down.
"Aww thanxs....hey wheres Mary?" Katie asked a little thrown off.
"Oh her and Patrick snuck off to the closet, I wouldn't go in there if I were you!" Kyelly said with a laugh.
"OMG thanxs for the overshare!" Katie laughed
Just then Mary came back, she looked a little flushed, and her hair was a little messy though she'd tried to comb it.
"Hey Mary, theres sometin on your dress!" Brittni teased and everyone laughed
"Oh shush up!" Mary said as she checked just in case.
The night ended really well and then Josh and Katie got into the limo to go to their other hotel, where they would spend the first two nights of their honeymoon

Mean while after a couple weeks of having lil Pat, Mary was feeling much better. She was able to help poor Patrick out more, and able to get around. Since there was now two Patrick's in the house, they had to come up with a nickname for the baby. Since Anny was just learning to talk she called the baby Pat. So, that was the name that stuck. Since Pat was so young and he was so small Mary had to take care of him a little more then she did Anny. Now, Anny wasn't very thrilled of this new change. Every time she tried to see the baby, or play with him, Patrick or Mary would stop her. Anny was beginning to fill a little left out. Since she wasn't able to talk much, she just got into everything so Patrick or Mary would pay her some attention. Anny wasn't minding, getting into everything, and make this a little miserable for her parents. "Anny, would you please stop whining! If you want something, ask me in a normal and understandable tone." Patrick said to her when she tried to get something, ask a question, or just to get attention. Anny loved her little brother, but she wasn't very thrilled with all the attention he was receiving. "Anny, what is wrong? Tell mommy what you want. Stop whining Anny." Mary said. I want you mum. I want to play." Anny replied. "Anny I'm feeding Pat right now, we can play later. Go draw in you coloring book, or go get your letter blocks and sit here on the floor and we will try to make some new words." Mary replied. "NO! I want to play with mommy!" Anny said. "Paaattrriick!" Mary yelled. "Yea, what's is it?" Patrick said as he walked in to Pat's room. 'Would you please take Anny and do something with her. She wants to play but Im feeding the baby, and I can't watch her right now." Mary replied. "Umm…well I was working on some music and I was about to run over to Ben's to work." Patrick said worriedly. "Take Anny with you. She can keep Mrs. Bledsoe company." Mary said. "Honey, I don't want to take her. After a while Mrs. B. is ready for her to leave, and she will drive Mrs. B. NUTS! Besides Laura is over there with her new baby." Patrick said. "Patrick! I am feeding the baby, I need to clean, and I can't clean if I have Anny, and Pat. You need to help me! Now, take her, or you are staying her also!" Mary snapped. "My God! You really don't need to get a attitude. I will take Anny with me, and let you have your quiet time!" Patrick snapped back. "Let's go bye bye Anny." Patrick said as he took Anny's hand. "No! I want mommy! Not you! You mean!" Anny said as she started to cry. As Patrick put Anny in the car, she just cried harder. "Anny, mommy and I have a new baby, and we need your help. Will you please, start helping mommy and me by cleaning up your toys, and just play quietly so mommy and I can get some work done? It would be a big help Anny." Patrick said as he and Anny went to Ben's house. "No, mommy likes baby, not me! You, like baby, Not me!" Anny said in her little sad voice. "Anny, we love you A LOT! You are our baby girl! Anny why do you think that we don't like you?" Patrick said shockingly. "You play with baby, not me. Mommy won't play. She is with baby. Daddy won't play. You with mommy, an baby." Anny said under her breath. As Patrick drove to Ben's all he could think of is what Anny just said. He really felt bad. He never thought Anny would think that. "Boy, do I feel like a idiot." Patrick thought to himself. "Anny, is that why you make messes, and get into things, so mommy and I will play with you?" Patrick asked her. "Yes." Anny put her head down, she thought her daddy was mad at her. Finally after 30-minutes they arrived at Ben's.
"Hey." Ben said as he opened the door. "You won't believe what just happened!" Patrick said as he walked in with Anny. "What Mrs. B. said as she took Anny from Patrick. "Anny thinks we don't like her and she is feeling left out." Patrick said as he closed the door. "Awww…well, I think you need to talk to Mary, and tell her what Anny said." Ben replied. "Yea, I don't think I will be here long. I think I will go home and talk to Mary about this." Said Patrick. After about 20-minutes, Patrick took Anny and went home. "Marry!" Patrick said as he came in the house. "shshshsh..Pat is asleep. What's wrong?" Mary said as she walked through. Patrick told Mary everything Anny told him. "Well, we need to explain things to her. I will talk to her. Where did she go?" Mary asked. "Umm…I am not sure." Patrick said oddly. Mary had an idea where Anny might be. Mary went to Pat's room. Anny was in there quietly playing with her doll. "Anny, come here baby." Mary whispered. Mary took Anny's little hand and took her into her room where Patrick was. Patrick sat Anny on the bed. "Anny, daddy told me what you said about the baby. Im sorry you thought we didn't like you. Anny, we love you very much! You see, Pat is just a baby, and he is younger then you, so daddy and I just need to watch him more since he is so young. Anny you are now almost 2 and ½. You are getting to be a big girl. So, daddy and I just kind forgot you are still a baby yourself, and you need us to. Anny, we love you VERY, VERY much. We are sorry, and daddy and I will play with you more, and you just need to keep telling us. Ok?" Mary said as she held Anny tightly. "Ok, let's play house! Mommy." Anny said with a BIG smile. "Ok, sounds good to me. Let's go." Mary said as she took Anny's hand. "Hey, can I come?" Patrick asked. "No! You work." Anny replied. Mary turned to Patrick and laughed. Well, now when Anny wants Mary or Patrick, she tells them. She doesn't let them forget she is around.

Re: The new opening act
Katie and Josh left for home on the 1st of April. Josh hadn't said anything about the baby but he'd thought on it a lot, and he realized he wanted one BADLY! He actually got a little upset on the flight (private plane) home. The whole morning had been a bit of a battle. First Josh complained about everything: getting up, breakfast, flying, driving, everything!!! Finally after 30 minutes of flying (and complaing from Josh) Katie said,
"Josh what the hell is wrong with you? I love you so much but all you have done is complain for the last few days....is something wrong?"
Josh just kind of looked away and said, "Im sick of being asked questions...."
"This was the first question I've asked you!"
"Your mad at me!"
"No I'm not I love you! Stop it!"
"You stop it!" Josh said as he continued to not look at her
"Josh what the hell is wrong!?" Katie almost screamed at him
"I want a baby!" Josh said quietly. Katie's eyes got huge and she almost wished she hadn't asked!
"Josh are you crazy?! Why another baby? I thought you wanted to tour...." Katie said very hesitantly.
"I do, but Ben called me a few days and said Kyelly was pregnant, so I'm going to have to wait longer anyways, and I'd really like another baby...." Josh said as he hesitantly looked at her
"Josh is this just because you miss Maia?"
"No its because I've been thinking on it since you got sick and I realized I really wanted another baby!" Josh said definisivly.
"I think I need a nap..." Katie said as she turned over
Josh felt bad for yelling at her, so he put his arm around her and cuddled up to her.
When they got home it was midnight. Maia looked so much older! She was 7 months old. Josh was glad to get her back. Him and Katie hadn't spoke at all the rest of the trip, and now was no different. When they got home they just went straight to sleep.
The next few days everything went back to normal, Josh just played with Maia, and Katie went to her studio to record. They didnt barely talk the first day home. The first night home as they were getting into bed Josh said,
"Honey...its been a day since I well told you how I felt...have you really thought about another baby?"
"Yeah I have....and I made an appointment to get my tubes tied next week!" Katie said as she laid down. Josh immediatly propped himself up on one elbow and put his arm around her and moved her so she was facing him and said,
"Honey no whos crazy now?!?!? Dont I have any say in this?!?" He was shocked and upset
"No you dont really....its my life!" Katie said as she turned away
"Why are you doing this?" Josh asked sadly
"Because I dont want any more kids! When we have kids around you just spend all your time with them, and you barely spend time with me, and kids hurt, and I want to tour and record, I dont want one more kid!" Katie said a bit upset.
Josh thought about it a minute and said,
"I'm sorry honey, babies requiere a lot of attention and you dont want to give Maia any attention, so I have to!" He was a bit upset now
"Wow Josh we've only been off our honey moon for 2 days now and we're already having a fight! Fine I should have known I should have known!" Katie said as she got out of the bed, "I'm sick of this, alls we ever do is fight, and you always bring it on! You can have custody of Maia I dont care, I WANT A DIVORCE!" Katie said as she left the room, Josh had really hurt her with the last comment.
Josh didnt know what to do, he hadnt meant to insult her, he loved her, he thought she'd want another baby at least someday too!
Katie left the house and drove over to Mary and Patricks. She knocked on the door because she didnt want to wake up the kids. But after 5 minutes of that she had to ding the doorbell because no one was coming. Not 2 minutes later Mary came to the door, she was out of breathe and her hair was all messy.
"Oh Im sorry I didnt mean to interupt anything!" Katie said as she wiped away her tears
"Oh *breath* no you didnt *breath* interupt anything come in." Mary said, "Here gimme a second I'll be out."
After 5 more minutes (and some moans that escaped the doors ) Mary came out in her pajamas and had her hair combed and caught her breathe. Katie had just thought about Josh and hadn't even realized anything other then that!
"Whats wrong?" Mary asked as she seen Katie try not to cry
"Oh nothing new! Me and Josh are just fighting again!" She said as she broke down crying
"oh its okay....what happened?" Mary asked as she sat next to her.
"He told me he wanted another baby, and I told him Im getting my tubes tied next week! I dont want one, and I told him it was because he does nothing but spend time with the baby, its like I dont exist! I mean Patrick *obviously* makes time for you but hes still a good daddy! Then...then..." Katie said as she started crying more.
"Its okay...then what?"
"Then he said he had to spend all that time with Maia because she was a baby and needed attention, because I never give her any!" Katie said through her tears.
"He shouldnt have said that! What an ass!" mary said as she gave Katie a hug, Patrick came out now, holding Anny who was half awake in his arms. He sat in the rocking chair to rock her and noticed Katie crying, "Whats wrong?" he asked
"Josh said Katie wasnt a good mother!" Mary said angrily as Katie cried
"What why would he say that?" Patrick didn't believe Josh could say that.
"Because I didnt want another baby!" Katie cried
"Here Katie calm down, you can stay here tonight, and I'll go talk to Josh tomorrow." Mary said as she got up and showed Katie her room.
When Mary came back out Patrick said, "I cant believe their already fighting! They've only been married 3 months, and off the honeymoon 2 days!"
"Yeah me neither...but I know Josh always does stupid things to make Katie upset, you know I went over there one day before they were married, and when I came in Josh was sitting their playing with Maia, and then I found Katie in the studio and I asked if they took turns or something and she said no, josh just plays with the baby all day!"
"Yeah Katie asked me to help produce a few songs for her new CD and I said sure, and she showed me all she'd wrote, and all of the songs were about being ignored by a guy!" Patrick said as he noticed anny had fallen asleep.
"They love each other, its just I dont think either of them know how to get along!" Mary said as she got up.

Mary knocked on the door and Josh answered it slowly, by peeking his head out.
"Hey Josh its Mary, can I come in?"
"Umm...yeah sure." Josh said as he opened the door. He looked terrible! His hair was messy, and his eyes looked like he hadnt slept and been crying, and he just looked downright depressing.
"Wheres Maia?" Mary asked
"Oh I asked Ben and Kyelly to watch her..." He said as he walked over and plopped on the sofa. There were used tissues everywhere.
"So how you been?" Mary asked, at first she'd been really mad at Josh, but now she realized maybe he hadn't meant to be so evil after all!
"Not good...I'm sure Katie went over to your guys house last night, I feel so terrible! I always do this I'm so stupid! I dont deserve her!" He said as he started crying again
"Josh listen, yes she came over last night and she cried herself to sleep! At first I thought you were just a jerk, but what is wrong with you two why do you always fight? You would have done anything to have her back when you first met her, you almost lost your job for her, you could be arrested for what you two did, and obviously you two care about each other! So what in the world is your problem?!?"
Josh thought a minute and said, "You know, I honestly do not know! I love her so much, I just seem to be stupid sometimes...none of its really her fault......"
"Well shes no angel herself, but I really dont understand why you two cant get along!" Mary said
"Me neither....hey Mary when you leave could you tell Patrick to meet me at Lou's studio? Thats where we got all our stuff anyways...." Josh said on second thought
"Sure....you really gotta think this out Josh, if you two are gonna be married you cant be pulling these little fights everyday!" Mary said as she got up and left.
When Mary got back Patrick was letting Anny do his hair (lol!) and they were watching beauty and the beast. Lil Pat was sleeping.
"Wheres Katie....and what on earth happend to your hair?!" Mary asked with a laugh, Patrick's hair was in pigtails and had glitter on it.
"Anny's doing my hair, Katie went over to Lou's Studio, she said she had to write some songs about how she felt while she could..." Patrick said matter of factly. Anny was very busy with her work .
"Oh thats interesting, Josh was heading over to Lou's studio too, and he wanted me to tell you to come meet him there." Mary said as she sat down
"Daddy pretty!" Anny squealed with delight
"Yes daddys very pretty, Anny did a good job." Mary said as she gave Anny a kiss on the cheek
"Well I think I'll just stay here, let those 2 kids fix their own problems." Patrick said
Katie had been at the studio for about an hour. She only had a few minutes left to record when Josh arrived at the studio. They told him he could have her studio after she was done, but he didnt know who had it currently. Katie didnt know anyone was waiting for her studio, so she decided to try to squeeze in more time. After 10 minutes of waiting overtime, and Patrick not being there, Josh got annoyed and knocked on the studio door.
Katie answered it and said, "Oh its you....what do you want?"
"I want my studio time I guess...whats taken you so long?" Josh said not so annoyed now
"Well Im sorry, this is the only studio I'm coming to anymore, so I figured I'd record some songs about some certain jerks, I'm done anyways!" She said as she went to pick up her purse (the cat one remember?) and went to leave. Josh decided they needed to talk, so he blocked the exit.
"Please move...I got to get back and watch Anny." Katie said as she tried to find away around him, but Josh wouldn't budge
"Not tell you'll talk to me....we need to talk and I know this is probably the only chance I'll get." Josh said hopeingly
After a few more attempts to leave, Katie gave in and said
"Fine, what do you want to talk about?" as she walked back to the sofa.
"I want to talk about us....why do we always fight?" Josh said as he shut the door and walked over to sit by her.
"Because we just cant get along! We should have gave up before we had a child involved..." Katie said as she looked down at her cat purse.
"Thats not true we can get along, I've been thinking about it since you left last night, and I'd do anything for you, I love you so much Katie, and I think we just have to adjust to all the changes, I know you didnt want to be a mommy, and I really believe you blame me for that which is fine, I'll take the blame, but I cant change it! Your such a good mommy, I've seen you I know you are, and your such a good wife.....we just gotta talk like adults." Josh said as quickly as he could hopeing she wouldnt leave or yell at him.
Katie thought about it a second and then gave him a hug and a kiss, "I'm sorry, I overeact sometimes....why dont we go home and talk?"
"Okay, I dont think Patrick's coming anyways." Josh said as they got up and left. They didnt say anything on the way home, and when they got inside they both sat down on the couch and started talking again.
"Okay whats wrong? What do we need to discuss?" Josh asked
"Well I guess kids..." Katie said quietly.
"Honey how many kids do you want? Overall?" Josh asked
"2 or 3 I guess...." Katie said. Josh almost fainted! He thought she never wanted kids.
"Really? I'd like at least 2...." Josh said
"Well then we can try for one more I guess....but lets wait another year or two, tell Maia's a little older." Katie said.
"Alright, I agree."
"Wow have we ever agreed on anything?" Katie asked with a laugh
"That we love each other." Josh said as he gave her a kiss.
The next few months were a bit dull. Katie and Josh settled into their married life, and Katie actually handled being a mother really well! Natural didnt record but once or twice the whole time, because all the members were busy with family life. They'd all agreed that in June (even though Ben's wife would be 5 months pregnant) they would start recording again, and hopefully be finished by Janurary. They also agreed they would tour and promote next June no matter what! June passed, the guys met up and caught each other up on their lives, and then they started recording. By August they had 6 songs completed and picked out for their new CD. Anny had turned two in May, Marc's twins turned 1 in July, and Maia turned 1 in September. In October Ben became a daddy for the first time and he was thrilled! It was a baby boy named Scott. In November Justin (Michael's son) turned 1, and in December Lil Pat turned 1. So all the guys where busy celebrating those things. On New Years Eve at 11pm Josh came in excitdly. Katie thought he'd be gone recording all night, but he wasnt. Katie had finished her CD on Maia's birthday. "Katie! Katie! Katie guess what guess what!" Josh said as he ran over to her on the couch excitdley.
"What what mmmm what?" Katie said as he gave her a kiss between questions.
"We finsihed the CD! Its off to Lou's desk then we can release it and tour and everything!" Josh said excitdley.
"Thats great honey....but what about all your guys kids and families...." Katie asked a little suspicious
"Well you, Kyelly, and Sarah can open for us switching every other show, so you, sarah, Kyelly, and me and Ben and marc's kids can come, and Mary works for Lou so her and her kids can come, if they choose to, and Kaylie is a dancer so she can come, and Michael's son can too, and I guess its all up to everyone if they wanna bring kids or not." Josh said
"Okay, well do we wanna bring Maia? She's so young...." Katie asked
"Well....it will be a hassle keeping track of her...but were probably gonna start in March, and not be done tell August, thats a long time not to be with her!" Josh said concerned. Over the months Katie had become a better mother, and her and Josh had barely fought at all!
"Well we gotta think whats best for her, we need money, we could take her with but we wont spend much time with her...." Katie said concerned
"Yeah we do.....well I know mom always offered to watch her if I needed her to for touring, so we could leave her...." Josh said hesitantly.
"I think its best....." Katie said
"Yeah....alright I'll call mom tomorrow....." Josh said really upset
A week later Lou approved the CD, and opening acts, and the families coming with. Patrick and Mary decided it would be better to leave their kids with Patrick's mom. But they both agreed they'd come home for Anny's birthday. Michael and Kaylie decided they'd bring Justin with because Kaylie wouldnt be gone as much as Michael. Marc and Sarah decided to leave the twins with Marc's mother, and Ben was mortified to find out Kyelly wasnt going to tour, and she'd keep Scott home with her. So it was settled.
On April 1st everyone left to NYC so they could start rehearsing for the tour. Natural and Katie's singles were going to be released the next Tuesday. On the day before they left Josh insisted he spent every moment with Maia. She was getting so big.
Katie walked in the room from packing and heard Josh say,
"Come on Maia, say da da, please?"
"What are you doing?" Katie asked as she came in
"Trying to get Maia to say her first word before we leave....I really dont wanna miss it!" Josh said sadly. He was holding Maia and she was looking at him.
"Ma ma!" Maia squealed when she seen Katie.
"Hi honey," Katie said as she walked over to pick her up, "whos that?" she said as she pointed at Josh
"Da da!" Maia squealed.
That made Josh's day. He had Katie drop Maia off at his moms that night because he couldnt do it himself.

On the plane Josh even cried a little. He was flying with all of Natural, and the wives who decided to come, and Justin . Josh really missed Maia.
"Honey its okay." Katie said as she gave him a hug
Just then Justin squealed "Da da!" to Michael and Josh cried more
"I miss Maia, she would be saying da da if she were here!" Josh said as he hugged Katie back
"Well if its any consulation, she did say da da when we got out of the car at your moms house." Katie said
"Doesnt make it better...." Josh said stubbornly.
When they got to NYC it was 2:30 pm. They would stay there and rehearse for 2 months, and on June 1st have their first show. The first thing Josh did when he got to his hotel room was drop the bags, run to the phone, and call Maia.
As he was doing that Katie shut the door came in and turned the TV on which happened to be on MTV.
"And today we have a special announcment from a suprise guest who will be calling in...." Carson said as he blabbed on.
Just then Katie's cell phone rang
"Hey Katie would Josh like to call into TRL? None of the other guys wanna talk to that ass (carson)?" Lou asked urgently
"Just a sec I'll ask" Katie said as she asked Josh. Josh said quickly, "No Carson sucks, you do it, yeah Maia da da, thats right." He said as he talked back to his daughter on the phone
"Josh dont want to, I wouldnt mind. I could go down there if you want." Katie volunteered, sure she hated Carson, and MTV but what the hell Josh would be glued to the phone anyways!
Katie took out her cell phone and called Patrick.
"Hey Patrick I know you dont wanna face Carson alone, will ya join me?" Katie teased
"Sure I guess...I'm missing my Anny and lil Pat....I guess I could call mom and have her turn on the TV so I can say hi to them." Patrick said a little down, then excitdley.
10 minutes later Lou had called TRL executives and told them that Patrick and Katie were on their way. Mary joined them for the ride. It was crazy! Time square was filled as usual, and it was hard sneaking past all the lunatic teeny fans. They finally got in the studio, and dressed and went out.
"And its time for the phone....oh wait I'm being told their here. Ladies and gentlemen Kalliope and Patrick from Natural are here and their on their way out..." Carson said a little suprised. The crowd all took a minute for that to sink in, and then roared with excitment.
Katie and Patrick gave each other a hug for luck, and then walked out into the screaming fans. It was crazy, most of those fans had just adorded Natural and Kalliope so they were shocked to see people from their favriote acts of all time.
"Hey guys how are you!?" Carson said as they walked out.
"Good good." Katie and Patrick both said. The fans were almost hysterical now.
"So your here with some news right?" Carson asked, he was such an idiot, he had no clue what was going on.
"Yeah thats right....shhh" Katie said as the fans screamed their excitment
"We came here to let America know that Natural has reunited." Patrick said as the crowd errupted. They couldnt believe it.
"And why are you here Kalliope?" Carson asked, Katie was still getting reuse to hearing that name.
"I'm here to announce part 2!" She laughed, "I'm back too, and me and Natural are going to have some CD's out soon, and..." she said as she was interuptted by the loudness, even when NSYNC had been there in their height, it wasnt this loud.
"And were going to tour." Patrick finished her sentence.
The crowd was so loud Carson couldnt talk. It was probably two minutes of akward silence before the fans shut up so they could talk.
"Thats awesome, so any videos for us?" Carson asked smiling like the tool he was.
"Actually we dont today, but on Friday we will bring it right here to TRL." Katie said as the crowd went nuts. The people down outside had no clue what was going on but they were just as excited to see Katie and Patrick up there.
"Cool cool, so where have Natural and Kalliope been? We havent heard anything since they announced their departure, and Michael and Ben released solo albums." Carson said in his idiot tone. Katie and Patrick looked at each other and laughed, Katie decided to go first,
"Well we've all been very busy, umm Patrick you want to tell why Natural broke up?" Katie asked him. The fans only knew that Marc and Patrick had wives, they didnt know anyone else did, or that any of them had kids.
"Well we broke up not because of fights or anything like the press said, but because well me and my wife Mary had a baby, and Marc and Sarah wanted a family, and we all figured it was time to take a break." Patrick said a little shyly. The fans screamed in shock, they hadnt known that!
Carson's eyes looked a little shocked though it was apparent he really didnt give a damn.
"Anything else you want to tell us?" Carson asked, not sure what was coming next, the girl fans were crying, the ones of Pat anyways.
"Well..." Katie started shyly, "Marc and Sarah had twins, twin girls, named Kayla and McKayla. Ben married his girlfriend Kyelly, and they just had a baby last October named Scott, Patrick not only had one kid, his daughter Anny, but another baby named lil Pat last december, and Michael married Kaylie one of the dancers, and they had a son named Justin who just turned a year old last year, and....." Katie paused there, the fans were just looking on in shock, all the members were married and fathers, that wasnt right to them!
"And...." Patrick said teasingly, he was waiting for Katie to finish
"And how has your life been?" Carson asked obviously confused. The fans were going crazy, they were just waiting
"And me and Josh got married in Feburary a year ago, and we had a baby named Maia 2 Septembers ago...." Katie said hopeing no one would do the math. Carson obviously hadn't expected that, there had been rumors about Josh and Katie, but no one thought to much of them after the break up.
"Wow thats a lot for one sitting!" Carson said as the fans roared back.
Katie and Patrick and Mary left after that, and after 1 nights sleep they woke up to every page and channel and program and website saying something about all the news they'd given.
Josh was the first one to notice. Katie was sleeping the next morning, and Josh woke up and decided while he ate breakfast he would watch CNN (it was early, nothin good was on .)
"And now for our entertainment report heres Alisha Davis...." said a reporter. The screen went to the Alisha Davis,
"Big news in the entertainment world today. Yesterday Patrick from the smash group Natural, and the first white female rapper/singer Kalliope went on the MTV teen show TRL, Natural and Kalliope have both been on unexplained hiatus for 2 almost 3 years! But yesterday the mystery was solved as the two explained to the TV teenage audience and Carson, that the group and singer have been gone due to thats right: families. Apparently all the members are now married and have wives, and Kalliope has been married to Josh Horn of the group for a year. Not only did they explain the hiatus, but they also announced a new video from each act will be debuting on TRL this Friday, and a tour and CD are to follow. Good news for music lovers everywhere, and one of pop's biggest mysteries is now solved! Teenage fans seem to not be taking the marriage and family news as well as they are the up and coming tour and CD's though...back to you Robyn." Said the reporter with a smile. Josh almost spilled his ceral. He knew Katie asked him to go on TRL the other day, but he hadn't known that they were going to tell the public their whole lives! All of a sudden Josh's cell phone rang, it was Lou.
"Josh listen Natural and Kalliope are on the tounges of everyone in America, and Europe! I need you to get down here right away so we can spend extra time working on the video set." Lou said urgently
"Alright I'll be there, just let me get dressed and finish breakfast, I'll be there by 9." Josh said as he hung up.
"Katie honey....Katie wake up...." Josh said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She woke up and said tiredly,
"What? Why are you wakeing me up?" as she rolled over and streched.
"I got to go shoot the video, I just wanted to know why you told the public everything." Josh said a little annoyed as he got up to put some jeans on.
"I told them because they needed to know." Katie said as she rolled back to her sleeping postion
"Katie their going to realize Maia was concieved before you were 18, and their going to realize she was born before we're married!" Josh said urgently as he put on his shirt
"So? I'm 18 now they cant do anything about it, besides I thought you didnt care what people thought." Katie mumbled.
"I dont....I'm sorry honey it just upset me a little." Josh said as he laid by her to give her a kiss good bye.
"I'm sorry your upset. Love you bye bye." Katie said as she gave him a goodbye kiss.

The next morning Natural and their wives went to the TRL studio to appear for interviews and say hi to their fans. As the guys sat backstage and got ready, Carson Daily came in. "Hey guys. How are things? Long time since we have seen or heard from you. What's been going on?" he said. "Well we have been busy with our new families, children, and just taking a break." Marc replied. "Oh yea. Patrick and Kalliope told us about the new families, and all. That really shocked everyone with the news Patrick and Kalliope here shared with us the other week." Carson replied with a light laugh. "Yea, we have wives, kids and a new sound. We are back and better then ever," Michael chuckled. "Well you guys have 10 min. so let's get ready." Carson said as he went out the door.
"Good afternoon everyone! It is June 24, 2006, and today we have the group Natural with us along with Katie the new sensation today. They will be here to answer questions, say hi to everyone, and chill with us for the next hour." Carson announced on air. "Well, without anymore ado here is Natural and Kalliope!" Carson shouted. As the Natural walked out with Kalliope, girls were screaming, crying, and going nuts. "Welcome, guys. How have you all been?" Carson said as the guys walked out. "We are good. Just busy and having fun as we go." Marc replied. "Things are good with me as well." Kalliope replied. "Now, Im told your wives are here with you? With a laugh, "Kalliope, your husband is here also? Am I correct? "Ummmm..yea, he is." Kalliope replied. "You think they might like to come out and say hello?" Carson asked. "Sure, let's bring out the wives. Patrick said. "Ok, let's meet these wives. Let's welcome Natural wives!" Carson announced. The fans stood up with a light clap, and watched the ladies walk in. "Welcome everyone." Carson said. As the wives went and stood by their husbands, all the fans got quiet as they sat down. "Any questions?" Carson asked. (Fan) "Hi, I was wondering when you all got married? "We all married in the last couple years." Michael answered. (Fan) "Kalliope, who are you married to?" Katie was standing next to J, but for some reason the fans never put two and two together. "J. Im married to J." Kalliope replied. The room got silent, and you could hear fans breath with a gasp. J just stood there, he really didn't know what to say. "Yea, he and Katie married about a year and a 1 year ago." Patrick chirped in. (Fan) "Patrick, where did you meet your wife?" "We met through Lou Pearlman. Mary was a scout for Lou, and she and I met and we just kept going out, and after a year, we married." Patrick replied. (Fan) Mary, what kind of husband is Patrick?" "He is a great guy, and he is my best friend." Mary said with a smile. (Fan) "J, How did you and Kalliope meet?" "She opened for us, and she and I just clicked, and we married." J answered. (Fan) "Kalliope, if u married J 1 year ago...that made u 17. Then u was under age? Right?" "Oh! I don't feel I need to comment on that. That's really know ones business. Next question." Kalliope replied.

"Actually," Josh said stepping up for Katie, "She was 18 and a half when we got married, I dont see why thats anyones buisness anyways." He was very annoyed with that fan, because Katie hated it when people asked her personal questions like that. "Anyways lets get to the videos. Whos is first?" Carson asked with his idiot smile, he was such a tool! “Umm I think we’re debuting Natural’s first.” Carson turned to the camera and said, “Well okay then here’s Natural’s debut single, the single comes out in stores Tuesday, it’s called ‘Change.’” The crowd went wild as the video debuted. As it was playing everyone just kinda watched while the fans made teenyboppers out of themselves though most of the Natural fans were 30 years old now or older! After the video was over Carson asked some of the fans what they thought and it was all good responses with a lot of screaming! “Okay lets get to it now, Kalliope’s new video, her single also is released Tuesday here is the debut of Kalliope’s ‘Everything.’” Said Carson as only the male fans cheered, it was pretty apparent the girl fans (especially of Josh) loathed Kalliope. After the video Carson asked some fans and again it was to good review. So after some good-byes Natural and Katie left the studio.
“I hate Carson so much, I hate TRL!” Katie said to Josh when they were in the car.
“Yeah me to but that’s where Maia’s college money is coming from, so we gotta put up with him!” Josh said with a laugh. The next Tuesday the singles would be released all over America. That night Katie and Josh were just watching TV when they seen ANOTHER (the 10th in a day) story about them on MTV. Katie's cellphone rang and it was Eboro (Jim's assistant.)
"Hi Katie it's Eboro. Listen a lot of fans are asking questions about you and your relationships, I think its time we straighten it all out. Would you mind calling in to TRL on Monday and explaining everything?"
"Why TRL? I HATE TRL!!!" Katie said a little angry, Josh rubbed her back to calm her down.
"Because its where a lot of our fanbase comes from." Eboro said.
"No....book me a spot on the Tonight Show for Monday, I like Jay Leno WAY better." Katie said defiantly
"Fine....but we'll have to release a bunch of media on it." Eboro said comprimisingly.
The weekend passed and everyone just rehearsed. Katie was going on the Tonight show herself, then the next day her and Natural were having signings of the new singles at the Virgin Mega Stores in Times Square. Sadly TRL would be tracking them again.
Katie was a bit nervous about her appearance on the Tonight Show, she'd been on once before she'd met Josh, but it was just a quick thing, no interview. After all the interviews before her were done, it was time for her to perform. Josh wished her luck as she walked over to the stage to get ready. After performing her new single she walked over to the interviewing area, to talk to Jay Leno.
"so how have ya been? You haven't been on this show in awhile!" Jay said excitdley
"I'm good I'm good. Yeah its been forever!" Katie laughed a little. She just wanted this to be over.
"So now so much has changed whats been going on in your life?" Jay asked, he wasnt one for the gossip but had strict orders to ask her certain questions (most came from Eboro .)
"Well I got married had a baby, and now finished the CD and I'm going to tour with my husband and friends Natural." She said as the crowd roared at the mention of Natural
"Well thats a lot to do in 3 years! How's it feel to be going on the TRL scene again?" Jay asked with a laugh
"I hate TRL I honestly do, in fact I begged Eboro my assitant to get me on here instead of TRL because I just hate it so much, I really hate Carson too but *shhh* I'm not supposed to say it." Katie said as the crowd laughed
"Dont worry most people do hate Carson!" Jay said as a joke.
"Yeah I know! The worst part is when our singles come out Tuesday I'll have to be on TRL again." Katie said rolling her eyes.
"Now why do you hate TRL so much?" Jay asked
"Because its like a Nazi interegation or something, they pry into every part of your life, and its so cheesy, MTV just is blah." Katie said, she was just going to say how she felt, she had enough money anyways
"Now is that because of some recent comments made to you on TRL?" Jay asked reluctantly, he didnt want to but he had to.
"Yeah some Natural fans have it out for me....they cant even add right! Then Josh got a little upset and well yeah it wasnt good." Katie said looking at her nails.
"So what did they ask? Wasnt it that you were 17 when you married Josh?"
"Yeah."
"But thats not right is it?" Jay said with a laugh, "I guess theres a lot of rumors out there right now about you. Have any comments on them?" He asked.
"No it isnt right, and yes I would like to address them. The ones I know of anyways! I'll just tell my personal life right here and now and then no one can speculate though I'm sure they'll twist my words!!" Katie said now kinda angry with the whole situation, "First off, I met Josh when I was 16 and touring with Natural, and we were just friends for awhile then we started dating, we broke up after only 2 months of dating, which was when the Natural tour ended anyways. I didnt see him again tell I was 17 and it was at a club that I'd gone to with Ben and Michael and some of my friends. Anyways I didnt feel like talking to him, so we didnt see each other again tell Christmas Eve when I was going to record and finish my then CD, and he was in there before me working on some solo stuff because as you know Natural had broken up. Anyways he came out and he begged me to meet him tomorrow (Christmas Day) to talk, I said yes but I seen him that night at Patrick and Mary's house unexpectdly. Anyways after a long discussion and help from Billy, we decided to make up, and later that night he propesed to me though I was yes 17!" Katie said kinda matter of factly, everyone was hanging on to her every word, even Jay! "Anyways then I went to visit my family on the 27th, tell Janurary 20th I think....anyways when I was there I found out I was pregnant....towards the end of the trip. So yes I wasnt 18 when I got pregnant.....anyways we postponed the wedding and I turned 18 and in September we had our beautiful baby daughter Maia. Anyways then that Feburary we got married and then all summer we just worked on our CD's and now here we are and I'm 19 and I'm almost 20 and thats all the dirty details I hope the press and TRL is happy!" Katie said with a laugh and a smile.
It took Jay and the audience a minute to get over that and then Jay and Katie continued to talk about the Virgin Mega Store signing and then Katie left. When Katie and Josh got in the car the radio was on as they started it up, and the first thing they heard was the DJ say to watch Jay Leno tonight for the 'big Kalliope interview.' Katie just leaned back in her seat and said, "Enjoy it honey, we only have 5 to 6 hours until the whole country knows everything!"
"Don't worry, I think you told it good." Josh said as he kissed her hand, he was driving he couldnt do much else!
"I do worry, I hate having to tell everyone everything, it's going to be everywhere....Your mom's going to know, she didnt know I was 17 when I got pregnant!" Katie said a little worried
"I told her, she didnt care, it's fine. At least we have tell noon to face it all." Josh said with a laugh, thats when the signing started.
"Yeah, I'm going to get killed by one of those crazed Natural fans." Katie said sarcastically.
"No you wont, it'll be okay." Josh said as he kissed her again. That night Katie insisted she didnt want to see the interview and went to bed at 9, before Jay Leno came on. Josh decided he'd join her, he'd already seen it all.
The next morning Katie woke up about 10 and turned on the TV, CNN was just roaring with the news (not like since the war with Iraq had ended they hadn't had anything else to talk about...) and so was MTV, VH1, and E!. The first thing she seen was a report by the ethinic Carson: Gideon Yago. Basically he just recounted the whole thing for people who'd missed it. Katie didn't feel like facing the world today, but she had to. She just got up and got a shower. When she came out Josh was sitting in bed eating a bowl of cheerios and watching the TV.
"You know whats interesting honey?" Josh said as he looked at her, "We've been on like 5 TV shows and specials since I woke up!" He laughed and took another bite of his ceral.
"Thats great, I guess..." Katie said a little hesitantly as she went to pick out her outfit (She was wearing a towel.)
"What'd they say about us?" Katie asked
"They just told everything you told on the tonight show, and now their asking for peoples reactions. MTV asked some people and well it wasnt good from either of our fans, but a lot of people did say its our life it dont matter." Josh said as he finished his cereal and put it down on the desk.
"Great and we have to face psychotic teenyboppers today!" Katie said as she got dressed.
"It will be okay, dont worry." Said Josh as he got up to pick out some clothes too.
The rest of Natural got together and them and Katie went together in a van to the Virgin Mega Store. Thankfully no one noticed them sneaking inside! The sat at the tables, Katie on the end, Josh on the other end (which neither of them didnt like, Lou and Jim's orders.) The fans were piling up outside, with signs and gifts for their idols. Katie looked a little nervous because most of the fans were girls, and had Natural stuff, she didnt see any of her fans (thats cuz they were all in the back of the line, but she didnt know that.) She wondered how many insults she would get today.... Just then Lou asked if they were ready and they all said yes, and the doors opened and the fans rushed in.

The fans were *forced* to make a line so it wasnt utter chaos. Finally the first few fans went through. The usual teenyboppers some how made it in first. The first hour of signings went well, Katie did get a few nasty looks, but no one said anything. The guys hadnt done a signing in awhile.
"Owww my hand hurts." Michael said as he rubbed his hand
"Me too....Lou whens our lunch break?" Patrick asked
"You only have an hour left." Lou said sternly
"Dam...I mean dang it." Patrick said as a young fan walked up for her autograph.
A few more minutes passed and one fan of Katie's walked up to get her autograph. "Who are you?" She asked Mary
"Oh I'm Patrick's wife." Mary said, she was getting tired and didnt want to deal with the cruel fans.
"Oh can I ask you a question?" The fan asked excitdley
"Sure." Mary said
"Is Patrick a good kisser?" The fan asked joyfully.
"Well I got to kids out of the deal didnt I?" She laughed, she was just kidding. Unfortantely Patrick had heard that and didnt take it as a compliment. Another few moments passed uneventful, until one fan decided to say something not so nice. She had to be about 15, and was with some other girls of about the same age. They looked like the preppy cheerleader type. They got all of Natural's autographs and each girl told her favriote member why she loved him so much. Josh just said thanks to the one girl and she looked a little peeved off that he hadnt paid her much thought. Josh just happend to hear what she said next by chance.
She walked over to Katie's side of the table and said
"He only married you because he knocked you up! Your a no talent slut."
Katie didnt take much thought to it and said, "Well thats nice to know that you think you know everything, and you look more the slut type, anyways thanks for the comment, move on now." The girl was obviously offended and said,
"Well who did you sleep with to get up to the top?"
Josh had heard this all, and the other guys hadnt really taken notice, Josh got up from the autograph he was signing and walked over and said to the girl, "Well I'm sorry she didnt sleep with anyone, just because you'd like to know so you can be another talentless Christina dressed whore at the top, doesnt mean you have to insult true talent, Katie I think we should leave." He said before anyone had a chance to say anything and he grabbed her hand and Katie just came with him. They went out the back and Josh got into a car that had been waiting for when they were to leave (they had seperate interviews and such to do afterwards.) Josh started up the car and they drove off.
"Josh were going to get in trouble." Katie said hesitantly.
"I dont care, I HATE FANS LIKE THAT! In fact their no fans of mine!" Josh said very quietly in an angry tone.
"Josh just learn to ignore them." Katie said in a toneless tone.
"I cant ignore them when they insult someone I love. You cant tell me what she said didnt hurt you!" Josh said very sure of himself
"Well a little....but I just try to ignore it." Katie said reluctantly.
"See....they had no right to say stuff like that! I hate this all, we should have stayed home and just raised Maia." Josh said sadly.
"No you love touring, and I do too!" Katie said
"I do, but I hate people like that. I think I'll cancel all our interviews tonight and we'll just spend time together." Josh said as he held her hand.
"Eboro and Jim are going to kill me and Lou's going to murder you!" Katie said shocked that he would cancel everything for the night, tonight was a big night. Natural each divided up pretty much every talk and radio and TV show and magazine, and each had about 10 interviews to do in the next few days, especially tonight. Katie had about 50 interviews to do in the next 3 days also...
"I dont care, unless you want to work..." Josh said making sure he wasn't upsetting her.
"I dont care I guess...I mean we haven't barely had time to spend with each other since before this all started....the tour starts in 3 weeks." Katie said. It was May 1st. The tour started the day after her and Anny's birthday.
"Yeah exactly, we'll sell enough damn albums anyways." Josh said as he took out his cellphone and called every place he was supposed to go that night, and told them he cancelled. Katie did the same, this took them tell they got back to the hotel.
Back at the signing the fan had been escorted out, and Lou hadn't noticed Josh was gone tell the 5 year old girl that he'd be signing for, started crying and demanded to know where Josh was. Lou was terrified because Jim would be back any minute, and Katie wasnt there either.
"Patrick where did Josh go?" Lou asked him urgently. Patrick had been pouting since Mary had said her comment. He just signed autograph after autograph almost angrily.
"I dont know, I dont care..." Patrick said not even looking at Lou then he mumbled to himself "got two kids out of him...."
"Michael do you know where Josh and Katie went?" Lou asked again urgently. Michael had just started signing another autograph.
"No Josh just went over to where Katie was and then thats the last I seen of them."
Lou went over and asked Mary who was just trying to explain to the little girl Josh had had to leave.
"Mary where is Josh and Katie?" Lou asked. Mary told the girl just a second and took Lou away from the fans ear shot.
"A fan of his said some really nasty stuff to Katie, and Josh heard it and demanded that they both leave and then they left!" Mary said.
"What the....hello?" Lou started to swear as his cellphone rang.
It was the Late Night's head producer.
"What do you mean he quit?"
"He just called and said he wouldnt be on the show tonight." The man said
"Umm...I didnt okay that I will have to call him." Lou said very upset now. After they hung up 5 more people called and told Lou Josh had quit on them too. Just then Jim walked in.
"Lou where is Katie?" it was obvious he was mad too
"Her and Josh left, and now I'm getting all these calls saying Josh cancelled his work for tonight!" Lou said very confused and angry
"Yeah I got calls too, seems Katie cancelled all her stuff for today and tomorrow." Jim said as he tried to dial Katie's cellphone. Katie and Josh both turned off their cellphones and unplugged the hotel phone, and TV, they didnt want to hear from the crazy outside world for awhile!
"Dang no answer....she is in a lot of trouble when I find her!" Jim said as he walked off.
The autograph signing went on with a lot of "Where is Kalliope?" and "Where is Josh?" from their fans. The guys had been told by Lou just to say they had to leave for an emergency, but a lot of parents and fans didnt buy that...
Natural and Mary left at 2 as planned and went out for some lunch. When they got in the car Mary asked Patrick if he was feeling okay and he didnt answer, she thought maybe someone had upset him so she didnt push it. When they got to the hotel (Patrick said he wasnt hungry, so he wanted to leave by himself, but Mary followed) Patrick still hadn't spoke to her. When they got into their room Patrick just laid on the bed and said he was tired and didnt want to talk.
"Whats wrong? Are you mad at me?" Mary asked concerned because when she hugged him he pulled away.
"Hmmm lets see would you be mad if I told a fan that 'at least I got two kids out of her!'" he said very upsetly.
"Oh that! Patrick I was just kidding, your a good kisser, I'm just sick of telling the world it, thats all." Mary said as she tried to cuddle up to him and he pulled away.
"Yeah well I would never get sick of telling the world was a great kisser you WERE." Patrick said as he got up and put on his shoes.
"I'm going for a drive." and he left before Mary could say anything. Mary suspected Josh and Katie were in their room, and she didnt care what they were doing, she needed some help. She knocked on the door and no one answered. Katie and Josh were just cuddling and talking, but they thought it was Lou or Jim or Eboro at the door.
"Guys its Mary....can I come in?" Mary asked, she knew they'd never open the door unless they knew it was her.
Katie got up from her comfy spot and answered the door. Mary had tears in her eyes.
"Whats wrong?" Katie asked as she quickly shut the door behind Mary.
"Oh umm...I'm sorry to interupt you two, but I needed some advice and well I have no one else to ask anyways." Mary said through her tears.
"what happend?" Josh asked as Katie went back to the bed and laid by him.
"Oh something really stupid but Im upset about it....Katie remember what I said to that one fan?" Mary asked, Josh took that to mean the evil fan, but Katie said before he could comment, "Yeah the one who asked you if Patrick was a good kisser?"
"Yeah that one....anyways..." Mary said as she started up again and Josh interuptted her
"What did you say?"
"I was in a bad mood and I'm sick of telling everyone about my private life so I just said, I got two kids out of the deal." Mary said. Josh laughed,
"Thats a good one!"
"Anyways Patrick heard me say that, and he took it all wrong, and he didnt talk to me the whole way back, and when I tried to hug him and tell him I was sorry he just pulled away, and he left and said he needed to go on a drive." Mary said upsetly.
"Yeah that sounds like Patrick....he always takes everything wrong." Josh said matter of factly.
"Why? He knows I love him and hes a good kisser!" Mary asked
"Because he once had this girlfriend that was a real bitch, and she always told him he wasnt any good, and she told everyone behind his back even worse things, and he found out and he's been hurt ever since....He'll get over it, dont worry." Josh said again matter of factly.
"He never told me about that...." Mary said concerned. They'd been married almost 5 years.
"He doesnt like to talk about it." Josh said.
"Now I feel worse...thanks for your help." Mary said as she left the room. When she got back to hers it was a good 3 hours before Patrick called.
"Hey Mary I'm sorry I was gone so long, I just needed time to think....listen I gotta tape the tonight show right now, and then a few radio and a few more TV interviews, I'll be done by 10. Then I'll come back to the hotel okay?" Patrick said in his kinda depressed tone
"Okay I understand....Listen Patrick I'm sorry I hurt you, I didnt mean to, it was just a joke and I'll never do it again." Mary said quickly
"I know, it just got me thinking on some more things, has nothing to do with you. I love you see ya tonight. Bye." Patrick said before she could ask any more questions on the subject.
That night Lou had instructed the guys on what to say, especially because some people would ask what happend at the signing. Ben decided to go against it. He was on the Late show with David Letterman. Halfway through the interview Dave asked, "So how did the signing go?"
"It went good, lots of sweet fans!" Ben said as the crowd roared.
"And now as I mentioned in my monologe, something odd happend today with Josh and Kalliope leaving suddenly, what happen there?"
"Oh well I'm supposed to tell you Josh wasnt feeling well and Kalliope was worried about him so they left, but thats not the truth and I dont think its right to not tell the truth. I think the fans gotta know." Ben said as the crowd cheered at his last line. "Anyways what happend was some fan and her little friends came up and were all teenybopper on us, and when this one confessed her love to Josh, he just said thanks and brushed her aside. Anyways then she got angry went over to where Kalliope was and said some not so nice comments, Josh heard them, and got angry, and told Kalliope they should leave now, and they left! And I guess they both cancelled all their interviews for tonight from what I know." Ben said as the fans listened in awe.
"Thats not right." Dave said
"No its not, fans got to learn that were humans not monkies, we have lives too!" Ben said defiantly. He then went on to answer more questions and talk about Kyelly and his son Scott.
The next morning everyone had more interviews to do. Josh and Katie woke up to Mary banging on the door.
"Guys get up! Lou's gonna be here any minute you might want to leave before then." She warned.
"I dont want to get up, I hate the world." Katie said tiredly
"Me neither, but I dont want Lou to yell at you, come on honey get up." Josh said with a kiss. She reluctantly got up.
Katie and Josh both rushed to their interviews so they wouldnt have a chance to get yelled at by Lou. Katie was on the today show and made it out just in time. After the greetings and the 'how are yous' Matt Lauder got into some more 'fun' questions.
"So now whats it like to be living with the world wanting to know your every move?"
"It sucks really, thats all I can say, their into my life all over, I'm just glad my daughter is at home and is to young to know what or why the TV is talking about and has her parents faces on every channel!" Katie said a little tiredly
"Now you've faced a bit of controversy lately, you went on the tonight show and confessed your hate of the TRL world, and also about your private life, and just yesterday there was an incident at your autograph signing, which was reportdly due to some unruly fans. How do you feel on all this?"
"I think its unfair. I wanted to be a singer and rapper because I love music and the game of fame. I accepted I have to devote my life to practice and exercise and publicity, and to getting up at 5AM after going to bed at 3AM. But I never ever would or will accept the fact that everyone wants to know my goings on. Do you pry into the person who sits next to you at work or school that you dont know you just think you do? No of course not! But they pry into my life because to them they think they have the right!" Katie said a little upset.
"So how does it feel to be telling your life to the world?"
"Its just something I have to do because they will twist my words if I give them or not, and its better to at least have given them and have my half of the story out there! I shouldnt have had to tell all, but I do. Yesterday with the fan was a prime example. I went on the tonight show just so the rumors would stop. I'm not the only person to live a life like that, just minus the fame! Me and my husband love each other and thats unacceptable to everyone apparently, and I love my daughter and shes apparently unacceptable also. I just want to tour and release my CD, not be lynched because I married a boyband member!" Katie said
"Now were the reports about the fan true? And why did you and your husband cancel all your interviews that night?"
"Well from what I know Ben told it how it happend on the Late Show last night. Thats pretty much the truth right there. Anyways Josh was more upset then me, I was just going to stay, but he insisted we left because he said he didnt like seeing people hurt someone he loved. Anyways he just suggested we cancel all our plans for that night and unplug the tv and phone and just spend a night without knowing the world was talking about us. It was great!"
Meanwhile Josh and the other members had almost gotten the same questions, only for the other members it was about their families and wives. That night nobody got back tell about 4pm when they were all very tired. Lou thankfully wasnt around and they all just fell asleep! The next 3 weeks were filled with further controversy as rumors circulated. All Natural and Kalliope did was rehearse and get ready to release their full CD's. On May 18th the CD's were released to anxiously waiting fans and even enemies! Josh fans thought they might learn something from the lyrics, but they were horroibly disappointed. Natural and Katie did some more interviews that night, and on the 20th were given the next 2 days off, until the night of the 22nd when their first sold out show was at Madison Square Gardens. Everyone but Michael and Kaylie and Josh and Katie went home. Patrick and Mary went to celebrate Anny's 3rd birthday, and Ben went to spend time with his family as did Marc and Sarah. Josh and Katie stayed in NYC and just celebrated her birthday there. The 2 nights passed quickly and everyone flew back in for opening night. The first show went well, no booing or anything (like Natural fans sometimes liked to do to Katie!) They toured the whole US and in July took time out to celebrate Justin's 1st birthday and Marc's twins 2nd birthday. In August the tour was drawing to a close, it was going to end on the 31st only a few days before Maia's 2nd birthday. Everyone was worn and tired, but they had reallyt enjoyed the tour. They were some of the top acts in the world now. Lou gave them Michael's birthday off. They had only 2 more shows to go. Josh and Katie stayed in a hotel in LA (where the next show was.)
"Josh I think this should be our last tour tell the kids are growin up." Katie said as they were laying about to go to sleep.
"Yeah...wait...kidS?" Josh asked confused.
"Yeah I found out yesterday I was pregnant again." Katie said matter of factly. Josh was ecstatic!
"How come you didnt tell me?" he asked as he gave her a kiss.
"Didnt have a chance." Katie said almost asleep.
