Also, I bet you came across plenty of bad reviews along the way, but neglected to post them. And why bother buying two versions? Who wants to hear some dried up old has-been say fuck a few times or make orgasmic noises? You obviousley have money to waste.
And so what if the album is no1 in america? America knows shit-all about music. The album's only got to no1 because it's janet jackson; if it had been another artist, it would probably have been no20 or something.

Actually, I said Americans know shit-all about music, which is true, and that I wouldn't buy a special version of a cd just to hear janet say fuck. I'm not banding about the f-word, just saying i wouldn't want to hear her do it.
And there's a difference between being civilised and speaking your mind. I speak my mind, and I don't try to dress up my thoughts and be all nice and polite and sycophantic like some people on here. and i'm not being hostile either, just giving an opinion.
Speaking your mind and being civilised are nothing you can compare. You can speak your mind and be civilised in the process, you choose not to.

What I meant by speaking my mind was, I say the first thing that cames into my head, because that's what feels natural to me ie I don't think "oh maybe I shouldn't have typed shit," and then hit back space and delete it.

I've just listened to the whole album but I wasn't really impressed by anything. The only tracks I kind of like are
All Nite
Strawberry Bounce
Warmth
Truly
I have to say her voice sounds very weak on this album. I don't know if she just didn't feel the need to 'sing' or if her voice has somehow weakened.
But my main criticsm is that the album is very much same/same. There's nothing really fresh about it and the whole album has a continual mellow/sexual/sensual feel. That's not a bad thing except for the fact that it gets a bit tired.

One bad thing about this album, is that there is no new sound at all. Every song sounds like it could have been recorded 3 years ago for All For You. Very dated and samey.
Velvet Rope and Janet were groundbreaking lyrically and musically but this is a big let down.

Ive said it before and ill say it again, this album is fucking crap!
Im so glad i downloaded it and not wasted my money on owning it. Im really sorry to say that as i used to be aq big Janet fan, now im not.
I think Janet is a lazy whore, the new album all sounds the same full of inerludes. The only track i liked from it was the very last one 'Just a little while'
Nothing sounds like that track so i dont know why she bothered putting it on there.
It was probably to trick people into buying it.
