Janet is simply in touch with her sexual self! Just because someone choses to express themselves sexually, why are they slammed for it?! Madonna did this kind of thing 12 years ago, and people hated her for it because they were afraid of a woman in power speaking truthfully about sex. Sex happens, it's pointless trying to sugar-coat it!
The album arrived this morning and I have to say I think it's quite good. I like Damita Jo, Strawberry Bounce and Spending Time With You! I've only heard up to track 9 though, so I still have to listen more! Love the interludes as well, really relaxing!

I've got nothing against artists singing about sex, but when they record themselves saying things like "oh, but i didn't get to cum," (an interlude from her all for you album) it's just pathetic! She thinks its cool to swear and brag about sex, but it's not. If you want to hear people talking dirty, phone one of those seedy numbers for crying out loud. Albums should be music, not some daft bitch moaning and groaning and faking orgasm.
At least Madonna did the whole sex thing with some style!

There isn't a rule relating to Janet, however there is one along the lines saying it's an offense to criticise other peoples posts when they have taken the time to find/scan etc the material. It's under section 4, but the way it's worded it applys to everything. And i'm not backseat modding here, he asked i pointed him in the direction.

That's true. Some people take what other people and critics say about movies/music/games and it plants a seed in their mind which tells them, 'You won't enjoy this for x reason'.
I learnt a while ago to ignore this until I can make my own opinion of something and then be open to the opinions of others.
I only have a problem when people and ciritcs starting adding personal comments to their reviews. I recently read a review in the Daily Telegraph here in Sydney of 'In this Skin' by Jessica Simpson where the reviewer gave the album 1 star. Not only did they incorrectly title the album 'In the skin', but they made comments about how ditzy she is and that Nick is stupid for marrying someone like her.
I also remember a review for Charmbracelet by Mariah where the supposed well-thought-of critic completely slandered Mariah and her life instead of critiquing the music at hand. He also misspelt two of the track titles...one was Mariah's tribute to her late father 'Sunflowers for Alfred Roy, he called it 'Sunflowers for Alfred Boy'. How disrespectful.
It just shows these critics don't always know what they're talking about, and even when they do - it's still their own opinion. They have preferences like all of us.

I don't think thats so bad considering a single hasn't been released, and the video that has been released is probably the weakest song on the whole album.
And correct me if i'm wrong but im pretty sure Britney, and Christina's albums didn't go top ten - yet those are both fantastic albums, and are both considered sucessful.
But congrats to Anastacia if she goes to no 1, her last album was amazing (i haven't got a copy of her new one yet).
I think sales figures will be the real test, then we'll see how she measures up to her peers - Madonna, Mariah, Whitney- (whos last albums didn't do well with sales)

Just because American Life topped the charts, doesn't mean to say it sold a lot - one of the lowest first-week sales in the US of that year I think.
I'm not really bothered if Damita Jo goes in at No.25 this week, it's gonna be big all over the world, although All For You went straight in at No.2 three years ago!

Are ya all talking about in UK I hope so that wud be such a disappointment if it was that low in America does anyone have the stats for that I dont care about the charts here.
I listened to the album, wow not a disappointment at all yay its so happy! And now so am I
Love the interludes as well, really relaxing!
