We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Lucas looked to Jun-Bo and smiled. " Well I am interested in hearing about the both of you. Maybe after I do I can think of some questions to ask about you." He replied. He was interested in hearing about his new roommate. Lucas didn't usually share so much information about himself at one time, especially to strangers, but it was his roommate, and they wouldn't be strangers for long if they were living together.
He looked over to Stella. " So tell me about you?" He asked.

Stella nodded as Jun-Bo gave her the go ahead to talk about herself. She thought about what Lucas had said, and tried to reply in kind.
"Well, I'm not sure about my grades. I was homeschooled by my uncle Mark." She paused slightly, thinking how much she should tell. "He's not really my uncle, but ever since he found me on his door he raised me. My parents disapeared when I was 2." She closed her eyes as she thought about it, not because it was painful, but to try and collect her thoughts.
"So I lived with my uncle until I came here. He was pretty protective," she glanced over at Jun, smiling, "and he didn't let me out much in case something happend to me. I like star gazing alot, I read a bit..." She trailed off, not sure what else there was to say. Then she thought about her powers. And her glow! What if it kept him up at night?
"Oh, I should have told you." she looked down, worried he would want to move if she told him. She liked her room mate, he was nice. But she had to tell him, it was only fair. "At night, I..." she looked up at Jun-Bo for support, "I sort of, glow. Since I have not had a room mate it hasn't been a problem, but it might keep you up. Sorry."

*He smirked lightly as they spoke about each other. To him self it was nothing to hear about them and talk of him self. It was just his way of life. He heard her speak about the glowing and seemed like it upset her to think it might bother her room mate. He smiled calmly.*
"I normally get excelent grades and I am a Shih. I live for balance and do what is needed to cause balance to remain in the world. I am a fighter to the biter end. I spend more time fighting or training then I do sleeping. I enjoy quiet times where I get to rest and watch stars and animals."
*He smiled and wondered what this man would think of this. It was something different then he was use to . He not only had to get to know this kid but had to had the kid trust him. Because he was the big brother.*

We live so that way the energy of life can continue to use us to as carriers in the world. Each and ever person effects the flow of life energy in the world. If one person was removed, the flow would be altered and everyone in the world is effected even if only on the most basic level. Life is very nice that way. But there are some people out there who have bad chi or life flow and effect everyone in a bad way. They are the ones that need to be removed. When the balance between good and bad chi is upset nature changes. If it shifts to the good side, nature will grew and become stronger. The world becomes more pure and more close to natural. If it shifts to bad, the nature around us starts to die. It can cause the nature around us to rear up and attack us with storms and earthquakes.

Lucas laughed lightly as she seemed worried that he might move out if he found out. " Don't worry about it. I'm used to sleeping with light, because my little brother Mark was always afraid of the dark. Don't worry about it, it won't bother me." He explained, smiling to let her know that he was telling the truth.
He listened to Jun-Bo talk about himself, and what he was. " A shih, that sounds very interesting. I'll have to learn up about them sometime." He commented. He wasn't just trying to look good in front of the guy either, Lucas was pretty interested in what a Shih was. He'd never heard of them before.
"What are your powers like?"
Lucas' emerald eyes traveled to the toy soldier that was on his table. He walked over to it and picked it up before sitting back down again. " It isn't a combat power, but it's interesting none the less." He explained. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the lifeless toy in his hands. A yellow light went down through his arms from his heart and into the soldier.
When his eyes opened again, the soldier jumped off the plastic he usually stood on. He ran to the edge of Lucas' hands and looked at the two strangers. " Lucas, who are these two?" He asked, looking back at him. " That is Stella and Jun-Bo. Stella is my new roommate." He explained. The soldier looked back at the two and grinned. " The name's Jon. I look after the boy." He explained.

Stella smiled in relief at Luca's attitude to her glowing problem. It was quite a weight off her chest. Back home, Mark had asked her to swap rooms becasue her light kept the neighbors up, as her bed was so near the window.
"You have a little brother? What is it like having a sibling?" Stella asked, curious. When Lucas mentioned her brothers occupation thing, Stella nodded. Of course Jun-Bo was interesting, he was Jun-Bo.
Stella watched Lucas' power with delight. Her wide eyes followed the little toy soldier as he ran over Lucas's palms, and her blue eyes faded slightly in shock when the toy spoke up. But she remembered her mannars.
"It is a great pleasure to meet you Jon." She said, nodding at the little thing. Her face showed she was not mocking or jokeing, and she looked up at Lucas. "That is amazing! My powers are not nearly as interesting." She thought about it, and wondered if she should show her room mate. But it was still light outside, and Night Sky was draining when she used it during the day.
"My powers only work at night. Well, if I use one I can kind of make it night, at least in a small area. And then I can shoot little stars. And heal." She said all this quietly, not wanting to show off. She looked up at Jun, smiling. She was wondering if Jun-Bo would talk about all of his abilitys.

*He watched the young man go and get the toy. It was interesting to see him with that toy. He had been wondering why the man keep the toy, but then he showed his power. His thoughts were answered and they were answered quite well. He was mildly impressed. He had not seen that before. He thought it was assoume to be honest.*
"Now that is a power that is worth having. I could honestly enjoy that sort of thing. And It is most wonderful to meet you Jon."
*He thought about the different powers he had and was curious which one he would be able speak about and which had to be shown. It was very interesting to think about.*

Looking over to Jun-Bo, Lucas tried to imagine all his powers. This guy seemed like a very strong one, both by the way he looked and by the powers he had. " They sound interesting as well Jun-Bo, you must be an excellent fighter." He said.

Listening to Lucas talk about his bother made Stella feel a little sad. She had lived her life with only the company of a middle aged man and herself up until she had started here. And while she knew her uncle and Jun-Bo cared about her, hearing about how close Lucas was with her brother made her feel a little lost. One hand travelled to her silver pendent.
Stella’s eyes followed Jon as he scrambled up to Lucas's shoulder, still finding the solider fascinating. And it ('he' she told herself) seemed to have as much of a personality as any human. He had called itself Lucas’s protector, and he seemed quite determined to do his job. “So Jon, what do you think of your new home?” she asked him. Then Lucas mentioned her powers, and her eyes slid from the toy on his shoulder to his face.
“It is useful.” She agreed, thinking about all the cuts and bruises normal childhood included that she had been able to vanish away. “I’d be happy to show you anytime, but I’d need to think of a way of showing that did not involve anyone getting hurt.” She was sure she would think of something by the time he wanted a demonstration. After all, Jun-Bo had asked her to shoot him once to show her powers.
Speaking of which… she saw Lucas’s reaction to Jun-Bo’s powers. She nodded, remembering her own reaction to learning about her brother’s rather impressive array of abilities.

Lucas wondered what her powers would look like. They certainly were a useful thing to have, though it was a shame they only worked at night. " That would be something we would have to think about." He replied, trying to think of something to do. Instead though, he thought of a question to ask the two of them. " How long have you both been attending this school?" Lucas asked.

Stella remembered her shock when Jun-Bo had asked her to fire at him, and her relief when she found it had not harmed him badly. "I could do that, if you wish to see." her gave drifted to the window. The sky outside was pale blue, smeared with white clouds. Stella pictured how it would look after she had used Night Sky. Dark blue with pinpricks of white light. A false night.
Stella looked back to the toy on Lucas's soldier. "Do you want to see my abilitys?" she asked, the question directed at Jon, but open to Lucas.
" How long have you both been attending this school?"
Stella smiled softly, turning to look out the window. "About 3 weeks, though sometimes it feels like I've been here all my life." She turned back to Lucas and Jun-Bo, "and sometimes it feels like I've only been here a day. Time does odd things at Manga High." she finished with a laugh.

Jon looked over at Stella. " Your powers sound like somethin' worth takin' a look at." He replied. Jon stood up and held onto Lucas' ear for support. " But if they only work at night time we can wait, can't we boy?" He asked Lucas, tugging on his ear a little. Lucas grabbed Jon from his shoulder and held onto him in his hands. " Yes, I suppose so." He replied.

Both Jon and Lucas looked at Jun-Bo as he spoke. They moved to look at him at the exact same time as well. Jon sat on the top of Lucas' finger as he thought about it. " It makes me sad that all those people have to die in wars and yet it seems like little is being resolved from it." Lucas explained. He wasn't heavily into fighting, Lucas was more of a talker, using his words to help fix situations instead of his fists.

Stella tugged on a bit of her hair, thinking.
"I could make it night... for an hour or so..." She spoke so quietly that for Jun-Bo, Lucas or Jon to hear they would have to strain. But if they're willing to wait, why tire myself out? Watching the antics of the toy soldier brought a smile to her face again.
"How long can you keep him moving?" She asked, watching.
"So what do you two think about the affiars of the world, as in wars and such?"
Stella listened to Lucas's reponse, and thought about her own. She had watched the news back at home, but was not sure how she really felt about it all.
"My heart goes out to the innocent who always seem to get caught up in the fighting." she said slowly. "The people who had played no part in the fighting but were hurt or killed anyway."

"I agree we can wait untill tonight. It is not that long of a wait. As far as wars go, I agree the people that are not in the wars need to be left alone. Though the people in the wars need to meet at one place and settle the war in one battle. It would be more simple."

Lucas nodded at what Jun-Bo said as he watched him talk before looking back to Stella. " I'm fine with waiting. But it's interesting that you can make it night time." He said. Jon jumped off Lucas' finger and hit the bed, bouncing up a little before landing firmly. He ran over to the end and climbed up the head of the bed before jumping onto the windowsill.
He looked out to the view before turning back to Lucas. " I like this place kid. Good view," Jon began, pointing out the window, " Good room," He said, pointing around the room, " Good people," He added, pointing over at Jun-Bo, " And a nice roommate." He finished, pointing over to Stella. Lucas simply smiled at the toy. He often got side tracked like that. " I agree." He replied.
