We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

She was excited about meeting with Jun-Bo in the garden. It was where they had first met, which made it a rather appropriate place for what she hoped was about to take place. She chewed on her lip ring as she considered how many things needed to be laid to rest between them, and she hoped that was what his intentions truly were. Hopefully the subject of Christopher wouldn't come up. She was still embarassed about that one.
She dressed carefully for this meeting, taking her time. She carefully remembered the things Ayeka had been teaching her in the mall. Her jeans were neatly pressed, dark wash with no stains or holes. She had on a long sleeve white t-shirt with a delicate pattern of roses stitched across the chest, and her new favourite jacket, all brown leather with a fringe, which matched her brand-new moccasins.
She arrived at the garden, pushing up her sleeve to check her map. She remembered the first time she was here with him, her map hadn't made any sense to her at all. He had helped her decipher it then. Now she could read it clearly, and she had a good idea where she would find her friend. She headed into the garden, and sure enough, in a few moments she saw him standing there, in the exact spot she had first seen him.
She had her first moment of hesitation. Pausing at the edge of the nearest alcove, watching him. She knew he could tell that she was there, but still, she wanted to get a good look at him before she approached. Memorizing him with a softness in her eyes that was rarely there. He was a good man, all things told.

She hoped she didn't seem too nervous, but she was really one big bundle of nerves. She had no idea what was about to go down, though she knew what she hoped would happen. Things were getting weird around here, especially between the two of them.
"Welcome. How are you?"
She gave a weak smile in response to his greeting, and had to actually physically restrain herself from wringing her hands. This was bad, she was turning into a little stress ball. As he moved towards her she breathed in deeply and shook herself. It was a sad attempt at control, but it worked, mostly.
"I'm fine Jun-Bo, how are you?"
She had grasped the edge of her shirt in her hands and was twisting it methodically. It was the only movement her body was making anymore.

Hawthorne blushed and lowered her head to her hands. She was embarassed, but she had learned not to argue when someone gave her a compliment. She didn't feel sexy, she felt awkward, like a fish wearing wings.
"Uhmmm, thank you."
He mussed up her hair, and she almost cracked a smile. He was back to his old self around her, it seemed. It was nice to have a sense of friendship with the boy again. She had missed their closeness. Though right now it seemed to be only on his part.

She let go of the twisted clump of fabric in her hand, and tried to relax. It was hard to do, especially with Jun-Bo so close by. She just couldn't think with a wall of violent male flesh in front of her. She had to stop thinking about him that way.
"I know, I just . . . I haven't had good luck meeting men alone in the garden . . ."
It might be a little risky to make reference to the scene so quickly. She had been rather harsh and abrupt with Jun, because she was nervous and embarassed about Chris and his behaviour. She shouldn't have snapped though.

It was a long speech, and a little preachy, but she smiled. It was typical Jun-Bo, and he was very sweet. She had a lot of fun the first time they had met in the garden.
"I suppose so. The last time we met here I was unkind to you though, and I apologize. I was confused and distressed by Christopher hanging off of me. I am not used to that much closeness with a boy I hardly know."
She went over to the tree he indicated, and carefully sat at its base, leaning on the wide trunk. It was a comfortable position, and she closed her eyes in appreciation.

She thought about what question to ask, and a billion thoughts skittered through her head. Who was Maaz? How close were they? Do you like me? Am I just to brioken to interract with? Why don't you love me? She shook her head. She couldn't ask any of those. She started with something easy.

She smiled in relief. She was glad that they could put that behind them. Apologies weren't her forte, but that one had earned it. Her actions had been foolish.

713! That was forever ago! She counted sereptitiously on her fingers, but stopped around one thousand and something. Apparently her friend Jun-Bo was VERY old. Very, very old. She blushed. So much of what she did must seem silly and childish, compared to all the things he had prolly seen.
"I was born in 1990. You were . . . 1277 when I was born!"
His answer sent a million more questions spinning through her head. She assumed since he had returned her question, that that would make it her turn to ask again. She thought about this one very carefully, rather than just plucking some random query out of the air.

That was the real question. After all, she wasn't sure how her math was compared to other students. After all, it had been at her mother's knee all those years that she had learned 'the three R's'; readin' 'ritin', and 'rithmatic.

Oh good, so she hadn't lost the talent. Apparently dear old mum had actually managed to teach her something between whining about welfare and bemoaning her sister's illness. It was nice to know, and it made Hawthorne's opinion of the woman brighten slightly.

She was curious as to why he was chuckling. The thought of a long life was rather terrifying. She wondered how Jun-Bo was still sane, after all the horrors he must have seen. The thought gave her the willies.
"Well lets see. What do you think of a man who is playful like I am?"
That was a toughie. She liked to think of herself as playful, sorta. Still, playful often pushed into uncomfortable ground. Sometimes it went too far, and then she was left feeling all awkward and freaky.
"Playfulness attracts me, but it also distresses me sometimes. I get a little awkward and uncomfortable if things get too . . . physical, y'know? I've never been a big touch person, and then after Drewe . . . well. Let's just say things went downhill."
She had to think of a question for him now, and he had been very depthful (I know, I know, not a word. Call it literary liscence) with that question. She could try to at least figure out that much.
"Why don't you and Sakura get along anymore?"
She didn't really like the girl, but she wanted to know what about her Jun didn't take to. She had seen a lot of similarities between herself and Saku, and she wanted to know how to avoid becoming like her. Which shouldn't be hard, since she would never be promiscuous.

She smiled sardonically. Therein lay the problem. She didn't know who she could trust, though she felt that Jun-Bo was one of the people she could. It was one of the reasons she kept balking in her interactions with him, since her discretion had not been fabulous in the past.
He had a very dim view of Sakura, which was unfortunate. She couldn't immagine throwing away a relationship with someone like Jun-Bo, it was unfathomable to her. Then he asked her a question.
"What are your thoughts of Sakura?"
"I don't want to be mean, but I don't like her very much. She's rather charismatic, and I feel like I could easily get swept up into her little world, which is very scary for me. And I think she might be promiscuous . . . which I hate. Or at least, don't understand.
I never want to do anything sexual ever again, I don't know why girls seek it out. It's disgusting, degrading, demeaning. The pain and the discomfort aren't worth making some guy happy for."
Hawthorne's eyes were hooded and there was a rather violent ferver in her voice. She was a firm believer in this matter, and she could not, would not be swayed.

It was an odd sensation to be pet like an animal, but she kinda enjoyed it. It was a gentle touch, and she couldn't help but feel calmer under it's influence. She closed her eyes and listened to him speak.
She wasn't sure if she believed him on the whole sex issue. After all, he was a man. But he was also a man she trusted. Maybe one day she would be open to something like that, but it was far into the future. So far that she couldn't even immagine it actually coming up as a possibility.
He lifted her chin, in that gentle way he had of touching, of making her feel safe. She allowed him so many more touches, liberties she thought of them, that she would never accept from another man. On a lot of levels she trusted him more than anyone she had ever met. Except maybe old Pete.
"What do you want from 'us'?"
There was the million dollar question. She resisted the urge to shoot it right back at him, with some inconsequential answer like 'I dunno.' She wasn't sure though. She wanted someone to love and care for, but she wasn't sure if it was Jun-Bo, her emotions were so conflicted. She turned her face away from him, searching for answers in the seclusion of the garden. She spoke again and her voice was quiet, raw with barely contained emotion.
"I don't know what I want from us, Jun-Bo. I really don't. My emotions are all astir, and so many things need to be laid to rest in my mind. I can't tell what parts of me are wanting you, and what parts are just . . . wanting. I don't need a protector, which seems to be the role you tend to play around here, but I do need a . . . " she paused, " . . . a friend."

*He smiled to her and nodded lightly. She seemed to be very nervous about what he had asked. He had meant to bring it up early so that way they could kill it early. He wanted to make sure they both knew where they stood. He tilted his head and listend calmly. She seemed like she wanted to know where they were.*
"I am kind of a protector. Well as for my self, I figured that you and I would remain friends for now. Get to know each other better and see what happens. I figure that if everything was meant to work out and for us to be together it will work its self out and it will happen. I do not know what the fucture holds, but we can see what happens."
*He chuckled and beeped her nose with a smile. It was something odd to end his odd speach.*

We live so that way the energy of life can continue to use us to as carriers in the world. Each and ever person effects the flow of life energy in the world. If one person was removed, the flow would be altered and everyone in the world is effected even if only on the most basic level. Life is very nice that way. But there are some people out there who have bad chi or life flow and effect everyone in a bad way. They are the ones that need to be removed. When the balance between good and bad chi is upset nature changes. If it shifts to the good side, nature will grew and become stronger. The world becomes more pure and more close to natural. If it shifts to bad, the nature around us starts to die. It can cause the nature around us to rear up and attack us with storms and earthquakes.

He seemed to take such a logical approach to things. He had thought them through, had thoroughly checked all the angles, and had let her down very gently. He had even left that hope for a future between them open. Very suave.
Then he beeped her nose and any thought of him having ulterior motives fled her mind. Obviously he wasn't trying to manipulate her. He was just being . . . well, him. She supposed it was her turn to ask a question.
"Why do you ruffle hair and beep noses? It seems an odd affectation for someone . . . your age."

*He laughed as she asked him about the ruffling of hair and beeping of noses. He shrugged and gave her a soft smile. It was not easy being this old with a child hormones. It was like a rollercoster where logic fights instinct*
"To be honest, I think it is because I can show emoution for the people around me and show them that I care and not have them think that I am hitting on them when I do it. I do not know. I picked it up from a past life, where my kids were animals. I could not kiss them easily, but beeping their noses and stroking their fur, show them that I cared."
*Yes he had just giving out the fact that he had sleep with animal or something like that. It was the only way he could have kids that were animals. He trusted Haw enough to tell her something he had not told another here yet.*
