We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Hawthorne thought about that one for a moment. The idea of Jun-Bo having had kids was more confusing for her than for his children being animals. After all, she grew up immersed in Native American culture. Animals were family members, and she was weaned on stories of animals and people marrying. It was like Jun-Bo stepped out of the story The Man Who Married a Bear. Musing to herself, she spoke aloud.
"I will leave you as soon as the sun is up. This blood you see coming out of my mouth is my own blood. The hunters are close by, and will soon be here... Such tragedies lie within cross-culture marriages."

"I apologize Jun-Bo, it is a line from a story about a man who married a bear. Many such tales exist in the culture of my ancestors, and I learned them all when I was still a child. I used to search out the village elders so that I could learn the tales, and pass them on to my younger sister. She was always ill, and could rarely go out. Many of our stories involve commingling between human and animal bloodlines."

She ducked her head. She didn't like to talk about Lily. If she spoke about her, she missed her. She thought about the final days of Lily's illness, where she was coughing up blood, after all of her lovely black hair had fallen out. The thought made her shiver, luckily it coincided with Giddy spinning in a circle, so he missed the involuntary movement.
"Sorry. Whats the next question? Hmm. What are your plans now?"
"I don't really have any plans. I don't make plans, because everything goes to Hell too quickly. I can't trust my life to stay still."

That was one way to look at it. Personally, Hawthorne tried not to make plans, so that no one would be left hanging when Drewe showed up and she had to split. That was how she had lived her life for three long years, and she was no where near ready to change it yet. That was all there was to it. Then Jun-Bo completely messed up her hair, and she sighed.
Reaching into the pocket of her jacket she pulled out her new brush, and quickly straightened out her hair, then, taking an elastic off of the brush handle, she deftly braided the hank of hair. That should keep it mostly contained. She stuck her tongue out at Jun, the barbell that went through it catching the fading light of the garden.
"So your turn for a question. Besides I think you got some questions you want to ask."
"Not really. I guess I don't usually get close enough to people to know about things like that. I have no idea what I want to ask anymore."
She shrugged. Still, she didn't want him to think her dull, or uninterested, so she racked her brains, thinking of something, anything to ask the much older man.

She could picture it, red would be a good colour. She wondered if he was more inclined towards it because of that whole pheonix thing he had spoken about earlier, or if maybe it had more to do with the vengeance he mentioned seeking against the people who killed him . . .

Thorny laughed out loud, and shook her head. Now there was an interesting question. Still, how on earth could she answer it? She wracked her brains for an answer, to go along with her explanation.
"I dunno about after school activities, since I haven't gone to school even one day in my entire life, but I do like to read, and I love to swim. Other than that, I really don't know what I like to do, except maybe sing. I love to sing."

Now that sounded like fun! She grinned at Jun-Bo in honest excitement, nodded emphatically. What an evening that would be, fun, frienship, and offkey karaoke. Maybe she'd do "I Will Survive", that song was hilarious . . . though she might do something a little more emotional . . .
"I'd love to go do karaoke with you and a few close friends Jun-Bo. I'm a little shy in front of a crowd, but if there are familiar faces in the audience, it prolly will be okay."

"Other than swimming? No. I did get to the gym here once, but it was very confusing for me. The equipment was very unfamiliar."
Honestly, the gym here intimidated her. It was really set up for people with offensive-style abilities, and everything had lights and buttons and gadgets. They were really freaky.

X-oshi? She'd never heard of him, but from the sound of Jun-Bo's chuckle, the guy must be amusing. Whatever, as long as Ryoko and Stella were there, Hawthorne would be comfortable. She liked those two a lot.

This evening? So soon! That would be awesome! Hawthorne jumped up and down and clapped her hands with the excitement of it all. So many fun people all in one space, it would be grand! Plus, a little part of her wanted to show off to Jun-Bo the one area where she really excelled.

That seemed like a pretty cool idea. Hawthorne was fairly certain that she could already pick her way to the top of the mountain by way of a simple path. She made a mental note to check that out later.
