We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

After the Cave Adventure (Reikia....open, maybe?)
(Continued from the Waterfall)
Knives led Reikia right up to the entrance of the Hot Springs, but didn't go in yet. There were two doors, for the male and female locker rooms. And of course, they would have to separate here. Knives frowned as he looked at the doors, then over to his new friend. After he tilted his head to the side, he shrugged, and his smile quickly returned to replace the frown.
"I guess we'll see each other on the other side!" He exclaimed, none of his excitement gone. And, without any more hesitation, he stepped through the door into the boys' locker room. He didn't stop in there, for he had nothing with him but a shirt and a pair of sunglasses, which were currently perched on the top of his head - he had no reason to wear them inside. He simply walked straight through the locker room, through the door, and into the steamy room on the other side.
Knives dropped his shirt near the door he'd just come through, then set his sunglasses on top of it. He paid no more attention to those objects, and walked straight over to the hot springs. He was already wet, and wearing his swim suit - he'd been swimming in the pool beneath the waterfall just before this.
As he slipped into the water, he sighed happily. The hot water washed over his aching body, beaten up from the battle with the snake and from falling through the hole in that cave. It was an amazing feeling, very soothing - just what he needed right now. Knives simply sat back, resting his head against the edge of the pool, eyes closed, waiting for Reikia to arrive.

Reikia didn’t have time to respond to his usual playfulness, he had already disappeared through the male changing room door. She sighed contently, walking up and swinging open the female locker room entrance. She didn’t stay long in there though, like Knives she didn’t have much.
Quickly, she pulled the white dress, damp from been put on top of her soaked tankini, over her head and folded it up placing it on the side. Thoughtfully, her hand went around her neck to her pendant. After nearly losing it early she was more wary with what she did with it on, not really caring that up till that day she had never taken it off. Indifferently she removed it off around her neck, placing it on top of her sodden dress.
Reikia entered the hot spring area, Knives already in the water with his eyes closed, presumably waiting for her. Carefully she slid into the warm water. She’d hate to admit it, but this was her first time she had ever been in a hot spring. A lot of things recently had been her first.
As her sore knee submerged under the tepid water, she felt it sting somewhat in objection. She winced, and then turned to face Knives giving him a huge grin. The cut wasn’t a problem, and she didn’t think it was worth herself healing it. It could repair itself without any aid. After her knee had calm down in protest, she found the water was of some great comfort; soothing their aches and pains.
“Hello Knives!” Reikia exclaimed, giving him a good-natured splash. She giggled, waiting for his resort.

He heard her coming, knew her scent as it trailed in, and he even heard the ripple of the water as she eased into the pool. But he didn't move; it was too relaxing to sit there, in that position. He felt as if he could even fall asleep. But when he got splashed, he couldn't keep from moving any longer. He jumped as the hot water hit him in the face, and then turned to look at Reikia.
There was a playful glint in his eye as he sat up, no longer leaning against the spring's wall. He turned to face her, and gave a playful growl, as he began to advance. When he got closer, he returned the splash, only he made it a little bigger than hers. As the water moved towards her face, it gave her only a few options: of course, she could let it hit her; or she could move her head or turn it to the side. No matter what, her vision would be hindered.
And Knives took that moment to advance further. When she'd turn back to look, he'd be standing over her. There was a smirk on his face, as he reached out and placed his hands on her shoulders. "You don't wanna get into a splashing match with me..." He said, reaching up to poke her in the nose. "I'm pretty good!"
As he said that, he laughed and backed up, splashing at her again on his way back. Then, he moved just out of her splashing range, and continued to smirk at her.

As the water Knives had just splashed towards her made contact, she closed her eyes instinctively, bowing her head down as she did so. She grinned, looking back towards Knives, who were now stood over her. She kept gazing up at him, her mischievously grin still etched on her pale features. Not once backing down.
"You don't wanna get into a splashing match with me..." He said, reaching up to poke her in the nose. "I'm pretty good!"
She watched his finger touch her nose, making her sky blue eyes cross for a few brief seconds before she blinked. Then her stare returned back to Knives himself. She watched him gradually backing up away from her, laughing as he did so. Then abruptly he splashed her once more, just as he left her splashing scope. For a moment, she sat there, not bothering to move. She saw Knives smirking across towards her, not in a malevolence way, but in his usually light-hearted behaviour.
Slyly she waded over to him, deciding she was going to resort to his liveliness. Within minutes, she was stood in front of him, her head slanting back faintly so she could see his face. She might not have been as tall as he was, but her height was slightly above average for her age group. Slowly, she let her index finger extend, the end gently poking his nose. She giggled playfully, retracting her hand to her chest.
“I think it’s you who doesn’t want a splashing match with me.”

He blinked as he watched her approach. Though he didn't move, his muscles tensed, as if he was getting ready to jump out of the way in case she suddenly made movement to splash him. But she didn't. She just came closer. And as he watched her finger move towards his nose, he laughed a little. She didn't get the chance to poke him, as he opened his mouth and grabbed her finger with his teeth, biting down without applying pressure. He let go quickly, though; he was just being playful, nothing more.
“I think it’s you who doesn’t want a splashing match with me.”
Again, a laugh escaped him, He looked back down at her again, a wide smirk on his face. "Oh really?" He questioned, his voice carrying a tone that told her to try it. "How's this for a splash?" He bent his knees slightly, so that he was eye level with her, then reached out with both arms to place his hands on her hips. This allowed him to pick her up off of the ground, lifting her high into the air. As he straightened his legs out, he swung her around, tossing her gently through the air, so that she fell into the water and created a big splash.
"Betcha can't beat that!" he called out to her.

Reikia grinned, when he gently bit her finger. She should have been expecting something, knowing full well he probable wasn’t going to let her poke his nose. What she didn’t know was how but the action he took seemed to fit reasonably accurate.
She knew Knives was playful, there was no doubting that, but what he did next nevertheless was rather unanticipated to her. She found herself getting lifted up and then falling into the warm pool. As soon as the astonishment was other, Reikia ruptured into happy laughter, not believing what just happened.
"Betcha can't beat that!" he called out to her.
Her laughter died down, being replaced with a teasing sparkle gleaming in her sapphire eyes and mischievous grin forming on her soft features. Deviously she told him, twisting a blue strand of hair around her index finger, “I never said I could beat you.”
Heedlessly, she waded over to him once more but this time stopped just about two feet away. Carefully, she crouched down into the water which rose up stopping just below her shoulders. She grinned at him, placing the outstretched palm of her right hand onto of the swirling water.
She then turned her gaze to her hand, fixing a concentrated stare at it as her left hand positioned itself under the cloudy water. She hoped that Knives wouldn’t see it and she knew that she would have to just get the timing perfect for it to work. "Ready?" she asked, her watch quickly flickering to him then back to her right hand.

Knives blinked, his eyes falling upon the hand resting just atop the surface. The smirk on his face grew, and he turned his gaze to her face, tilting his head to the side slightly. He didn't notice the hand under the water; he wasn't really paying attention. It was obvious he had no idea what she was planning: the hand above the water wouldn't be able to do much to him. But he wasn't worried...it was all fun to him.
"Of course, ready whenever you are."
He stood up straight, and crossed his arms over his chest. He looked completely unafraid of whatever was gonna happen next, especially with the unfading smirk upon his lips. And he waited, just watching her. It was still her turn to make the next move, and he was going to give it to her.

Reikia laughed momentarily, then sticking her tongue slightly out of her mouth as she concentrated her gaze unblinkingly onto her palm above the surface. She was only pretending, acting if you will. She really had no idea if her power would actually do anything to the water, but she knew anything that happened would do for effect alone.
For an instance, a pale flicker of blue glow appeared, illuminating the water's surface around her out stretched palm. If her will had been to use her powers on the water, it wouldn't work. Not because it was liquid, but merely because the pendant she usually wore was left with her snow white dress. Unknown to her, she was actually powerless at this precise moment.
Reikia grinned at the shimmering surface of the water, but decided however that it wasn’t enough. Carefully, without trying to draw attention to it, she moved her hand under the water to simulate it. Then she curved her finger into a slight arch, as she glanced up at Knives. The grin was still plastered to her face.
Quickly, she brought to the surface her hidden hand, splashing him as she did so. The splash wasn’t that huge but with her curved fingers; it increased the size of what she could do with a regularly flat hand. She hoped she had caught him off guard, so she could administrate her next move while his sight was temporarily unclear. Still of course there was that slight chance he had seen it. She knew his senses were much better then her own.
(Hmmm... it's okay. I would of carried on, but I need to know what Knives does. ^.^)

Knives blinked as he saw the blue glow under the water. Expecting some sort of power, the dog boy took a small step backwards, his muscles readying themselves for a sideways leap. Then the blue glow faded. Knives didn't know what that meant; he just continued to watch curiously. What would happen next? He waited, his eyes focused on Rei's hand, as he waited to see what she was going to do....
When he saw her other hand shoot up from underneath the water, he blinked, taken a little by surprise. He jumped, but not the way that he should have: he should have leapt sideways, out of the way of the splash. Instead, he just jumped out of surprise, and was still covered with water. But once his feet touched the ground, he smirked. He'd closed his eyes when the water came at him, but he didn't need sight: he had smell and hearing.
Now that he as on the ground again, he could counter. He dove forward without warning, extending both arms forward. Of course, she had time to continue her attack first...But if it couldn't stop him, his shoulder would come in contact with her legs, his arms wrapping around them, and as soon as his knees hit the ground, he'd lift her into the air, and drop her head-first over his shoulder. If she did stop him, of course that wouldn't happen.

Knives was one for doing stuff which always seemed to surprise Reikia. His next actions were one of them. She didn’t avoid it however, just merely watched him in interest. She knew they were only playing, and anything he did was purely out of entertaining. Anything he did wouldn’t be to harm her on purpose.
She felt him lift him over her shoulder, suppressing a giggle or shout. She could tell the moment he grabbed her around the legs what he was about to do, and didn’t want a mouth of hot spring water. Swiftly, she was over his shoulder and back into the steamy water with a miniature splash. She felt like she had done some sort of somersault in midair, which was probable true.
As she lay on her back, under the waters surface, she looked around under the misty water. She spied several seats on a far end then Knives feet just inches away from her face. Slowly, she moved a hand and touched the back of his ankle gently. She watched him move, turning around to her direction. He obviously had felt it.
Reikia rolled onto her stomach, preparing to make her return above the warm water and back under it if everything went to plan. It wasn’t how she initially intended to carry it out, but now was as good a time as any. As soon as she surfaced, she laughed briefly and then launched herself at Knives. She knew it was a feeble effort, but she didn’t really care at that moment. She was enjoying herself and it was clearly shown in her behaviour.

Knives blinked as he felt her tap his ankle, and turned around. He knew it was her...who else would it be? Then he looked down, his eyes falling upon her figure, slightly blurred by the water. He tilted his head to the side, curious as to why she tapped him. When nothing happened for a moment, he shrugged, and just stood there. He didn't know what she'd do next, but he just waited.
Then, he watched as she got out of the water. Once she was standing, he splashed her again; just a simple splash, nothing like what he'd been doing so far. It didn't stop her from lunging at him, though. He laughed a little as he saw her make such an attempt, and he opened his arms, ready for it. She hit him, but he didn't go down. Instead, he caught her, holding her up above the water. Her face was close enough, he just smirked at her, and then stuck his tongue out.
"You're very light. You'll need more force than that to tackle me." He laughed a little, and lifted her whole body up in the air, before he dropped her again, to let her fall back into the water below. And then he stood there again, standing over her while he waited for her to surface again.

Reikia resurfaced without hesitation and sighed deeply. She looked up at him, tilting her head to one side and stuck her tongue out at him. It was merely to return the one he had given her when he caught her. “I just can’t win can I?” She asked, followed by a giggle. Steadily she got up to her feat, a fake pout on her face. She laughed again, the mischievous grin back on her features.
Reikia gazed around the hot spring, only occupied by herself and Knives. She frowned in thought as her look returned to him. “Is it usually this empty?”
Warily, she waded over him poking him gently in the stomach. She knew she couldn’t get him down with an open frontal assault. She would have to wait for an opening. Also sooner, rather than later. She was getting rather tired of getting simply thrown back into the water, but it was fun all the same.

He laughed and shook his head. Then, as he watched her stick her tongue back out at him, he responded by doing it a second time. He gave her a shrug, and a smile, then turned around to walk back over to the seats. On the way, he listened closely to her, keeping track of whether she was following him, and any loud noises she might make to attack him; in which case he'd simply step aside, or let her jump on his back, depending on what she did. He plopped down on the seat, sprawling out, with his arms resting on the hot spring's edge. Then, he turned to look at her. "Nope, you can't win" He said with a grin.
“Is it usually this empty?”
His head spun around, his eyes glancing around. It was too misty to see too far into the spring; they could see one another, and a few feet around them, but that was about it. He gave her a shrug, and then a nod, letting her know it was. In fact, every time he'd been here so far, it had only been with one or two other people.
"Yeah, it's usually pretty empty. It's a popular place, but it's pretty easy to find a time to relax here with just one or two people." He smiled, watching as she poked him in the stomach. Then, in response, he reached out and poked her right between the eyes. A laugh escaped him, and he looked up at her, as if daring her to do something else.

Reikia pouted again, but the gleam in her eyes gave it away she was only yet faking again. "No fair!" She sat next to him, just a couple of inches away just in case the two decided to have yet another splash war. Feebly, she patted the water in front of him causing a splatter to be sent in his direction and she giggled wistfully.
She grinned lazily as he poked her forehead, but didn’t bother to look or avoid it. It wouldn’t hurt and it was only expected after her own poke. Slowly she slid downwards in the water, so it came to stop just underneath her chin. Her head was still tilted to one side, causing the misty pool just to brush her cheek.
Her thoughts strayed to earlier and the conversation between Knives and the computer generated dog. Her features changed into a frown trying to recall what they had been talking about. Her face then went back to a content smile as she remembered.
“Why’s the sword legendary?” she mumbled softly, flickering a glance towards him.

As Reikia splashed in front of him, Knives just smiled and tilted his head back, closed his eyes, and relaxed. He didn't mind the splashing, as it was just a small amount and didn't affect him much. And he was enjoying the water and the steam. It was all very relaxing, very comfortable. At this point, he didn't even feel his soreness anymore. Of course, it would all come back the next day....that's how these things worked...but he just shrugged. For now, he'd enjoy the hot springs. He'd worry about tomorrow when it came.
“Why’s the sword legendary?”
He opened one eye, and looked down at her. For a moment, he just looked, smiling happily. Then, he opened the other eye, and lifted his head, so that he could look straight at her, still smiling. He gave a shrug, as his mind wandered back to the stories his father told him, or legendary warriors of their race. They always made him smile, and he wanted to be just like them...to be a strong, powerful warrior who saved the day. He wanted that sword....
"Uhmmm....well, it's a special sword. It's been created twice before, for two different warriors....Uhhm, it's actually made from the inner energy of the fighter, and therefore can only be weilded by him. I'm guessing the three items to create it each hold a different energy: two hold the energies of the warriors before me, and the last will hold my energy. It's legendary cause it was used both times to save the world. I'm guessing since it popped up again, something big's about to happen."
He shrugged, and smiled to her. "I'm gonna try to get it! Every since my dad started telling me these stories, I always wanted to be one of the legendary warriors!"
He frowned, and tilted his head to the side. "I wonder who I'll bring with me on each trip though..."

Reikia slid lower and lower into the water. Soon the only things above the surface was her sky blue eyes. Her stare fixed on Knives, but not on his face. Being so low down in the water made it difficult to look up, so she would have to make do with looking at his arm and side.
"Uhmmm....well, it's a special sword………something big's about to happen."
Unconsciously Reikia had pulled herself back up from under the water and straightened herself up as she did so. She watched with mild fascination to his explanation, his enthusiasm clearly shown in his expressions and voice. She laughed when he came to his conclusion of him wanting to be just like them, a legendary warrior. For some reason, she could just picture that. She hummed pleasantly, flickering the water with a gentle finger tip as she did so.
"I wonder who I'll bring with me on each trip though…”
She watched as a frown appeared on his features and she chewed a bitten finger nail. Casually she looked up towards the sky, almost visible in the heavy mist around them.
“Ah,” she voiced simply. Slowly she turned her gaze to him and asked, “So you don’t want to go alone? Would you still go if no one would go with you?”
She was merely interested in his answer and was of course expressing a concern. She frowned thoughtfully and watched him with curiosity. She sighed deeply, her watch returning to the sky above them as she whispered, “Who would you want to take?”

There was a hesitation before he answered, but it was obvious he didn't have to think about it. In fact, he'd never expected to have the opportunity to bring others with: he thought he would have to go alone. But friends were always better. So, finally, he gave Reikia a nod.
"Yeah, I'd prefer to bring someone. I don't like doing stuff alone, most of the time." He shrugged; it was true, he liked being around his friends. "Buuuuut...if I have to....I guess I'll do it alone."
“Who would you want to take?”
He blinked, and tilted his head to the side. It seemed that he suddenly realized...he really wasn't sure yet. In fact, this was the first time he'd begun to think of who he might want to join him on his expedition. He let out a bit of a "Hmmmm..." sound, as he lifted a finger to his chin thoughtfully. He thought through the different names of his friends, considering who he might prefer to journey with...and who might be the most help. Finally, he shrugged.
"I dunno yet. Maybe Isamu, he's my friend and I know he can fight. I'd ask you or Dango....but I don't wanna put ya'll in danger..." He shrugged. "But I'm not going right now anyways, I've got time to plan." He smiled at her, and sank into the water again.

Reikia nodded in agreement as she lifted her cut knee out of the steamy water. She watched it surface with a glimmer of something red, unmistakable blood and she frowned. If it was only shallow, the bleeding should have stopped by now normally, perhaps it’s deeper than I thought?
Carelessly, so not to draw attention to it, she poked it with her finger causing the droplet to run down her knee. Then she spread her full palm over it, but she wasn’t so surprised when the cut still remained etched on her knee. She had used Azrael that day, and it was a miracle that she hadn’t passed out after that. She thought it was only natural for her to be unable to use her other power. Slowly, she returned her knee back under the water and smiled contently as she listened to Knives.
"I dunno yet. Maybe Isamu, he's my friend and I know he can fight. I'd ask you or Dango....but I don't wanna put ya'll in danger...But I'm not going right now anyways, I've got time to plan.”

He nodded, and turned to smile at her. There wasn't any proof there would be something dreadful, and he was sure it was a fairly long way off....but even so, if there was, they would need to be ready. And it wasn't a big deal yet....Besides, they needed to heal. It was very likely that they would wake up the next morning to a body even more sore than it had been right after the fall, despite the pleasant feeling the spring gave them. So it would obviously be a bit before he was ready to make these journeys....
As he thought of healing, he suddenly realized something. The scent of blood, however faint, was nearby. When his eyes had come to rest on Reikia, he looked down to see the red swirl in the water at her knees. That was when he remembered the cut she'd recieved; but it should have clotted over by now, right? He frowned, as he lifted his eyes to meet hers.
"Are you alright? That should be better by now..."
He reached out, grasping her leg with both hands, and lifted the leg above the water. This way, he could get a better look at her knee, without the water blurring his view. Once her leg came above the water, he saw the red liquid flow out from the gash, mixing with the water around it. Again, he frowned and looked at her. One hand, the one that supported her thigh, slid around, his fingers sliding across her skin to rest on either side of the cut.
"Listen, tell me if this hurts...." And then, he placed his finger over the cut. He didn't apply pressure, he just touched it gently.

Reikia nodded in response but couldn’t help frown. She knew it should have scabbed over by now, but she didn’t want to make a big fuss over it. It was only a cut, nothing to moan about; many people had suffered worse pains without complaint.
”Listen, tell me if this hurts...."
She grimaced lightly spite the fact he hadn’t applied any form of pressure too it. Her cheeks where tinted pink somewhat; the reason not being that he was holding her leg as physical contact meant nothing to her but that she had simply got injured. She would have cursed herself for bringing Knives attention to it, but being polite only answered his question.
“Well… not really but yet again, you might as well just burn me with a lit cigarette and ask me if this hurts? I would give you the same answer,” Reikia shuck her head before speaking again. “Okay, maybe a little… nothing to worry about.”

He nodded a bit, and sighed, as he looked down at the wound – which he was still holding above the water, though she’d said it was alright. His hand brushed over it a few more times – not actually touching the cut, to avoid bringing pain to Reikia; just around it. Though it wasn’t a big problem, it was still something that worried him. Finally, he let go of her leg, allowing it to sink into the water once again, and he turned to look at her.
“Yeah….I know it’s not bad….but still, that’s kind of odd.” He shrugged. “And I’m just worried for my new friend.” He gave her a big grin.
Then, he sunk back into the water, sighing, as he tilted his head back to look up at the ceiling above. He thought for a moment, before remembering Reikia’s powers. At that moment, he smirked. Without turning his head, he spoke to her.
“So, Reikia….where’d you get such cool powers?”
