We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

She smiled at him, blushing slighly. It was funny how things that seemed innocuous in your mind sounded so awkward when they were spoken aloud.
" And for my other power, my eyes go a very deep purple colour. It's a very weird side effect to 'ave, since it doesn't really do anything but make me look a little strange."
"I think its a fabulous side effect, it makes you unique. So . . . what is your other power anyway?"
She settled down into the hot spring, soaking in the warmth, and starting to relax a little bit.

Kane looked to her as she blushed again. He couldn't understand why she did, and it showed on the young French fighters face. He seemed to make her blush quite often, and he wondered if it was because of him or if she was like this around other people as well. Oh well, it didn't bother him, he just lightly splashed her with water.

" I 'ave the ability to freeze an attacker for three seconds. It's pretty useful as an escape maneuver, but because I can fight I don't use it that much." Kane explained. He remembered the first time he used the power, when his father was about to attack him and his mother. The pain of remembering that memory was rather clear on his face as he tried not to think about it.

The boy splashed her and she returned the favour, reaching over and dunking his head under the water briefly. She giggled and moved out of arm's reach as he returned to the surface of the water. She didn't want to get HER hair wet after all.

Something seemed to be distressing him, so she decided not to push the subject too far, and she swirled around in a circle in the water, making little waves ripple around the handsome boy.
"Not me, I can hold my own in a fair fight I suppose, I've enough practice being attacked . . . " she indicated her scarred legs, "but I don't really have any powers that help me out with that . . ."

When Kane came up from being under the water, he flicked his hair in her direction to try and have the excess water hit her. He tried to reach for her to do the same thing but she moved out of arms length so he couldn't. Shrugging, Kane sat back in his original position. He would get back at her later.

Kane looked to the scars that she had on her legs. He didn't have powers that really helped him fight, that was all his own strength, but they could assist him if he knew a fight was one that he couldn't win. " Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating because my powers give me a big advantage. That's why I don't use them that much." He said.
Kane then wondered what her powers were. He'd never seen them before and it was interesting to see what other student could do. " So what abilities do you 'ave?" He asked.

She laughed. Hawthorne was glad that she had backed up, otherwise he might have gotten ahold of her. She gave him a saucy grin and moved around in the hot springs, trying to find a more comfortable place to sit.

Kane shook his head. The stuffed Llama thing might not have been that useful, but being able to make a map would be a very handy thing to do. " They both sound like interesting powers to 'ave. I'm sure being able to make a map is useful, especially if you ever get lost." He began. He watched her move around to try and find somewhere to sit.
If Hawthorne moved anywhere near Kane, he would probably dunk her head in the water just like she did to him. Though when he thought about it, nothing was really stopping him from jumping over and doing it anyway, but he would just sit and wait for a perfect opportunity.

Hawthorne blinked at him, she supposed that perhaps the map power would be useful, come to think of it though, she hadn't been lost in a very long time. Perhaps her power was flourishing in ways she had never expected. After all, she used to get lost all the time.
"I don't really get lost anymore, that's true. But I've developed a rather accurate sense of direction lately."
Finally she settled down across the pool from Kane, where she could look into his beautiful eyes. There was just something about him, you wanted to look at him as much as possible. He was just so . . . manly, and handsome.
"So Kane, what do you like to do for fun? Besides wander around topless, I mean."

Kane gave a out a short nervous laughter at what she had said. It seemed that both times they'd met up, he was shirtless. It was a rather odd coincidence. " Well, I do like wandering around topless..." He joked, splashing her with water lightly.
" I train a lot but I don't let it control me. I like to do most things, go out with friends, but like most other people I like to be alone sometimes too. It helps me think about stuff when I'm not distracted by other people, but sometimes its good to have friends you can talk to." Kane explained, possibly getting sidetracked as he spoke.

Kane grinned at Hawthorne as she started sending waves in his direction. She continued to splash him, even when she was talking. Kane grabbed one of her arms when she pushed another lot of water in his direction and pulled her towards him. He then put his arms around her, locking her arms in place. Now she couldn't splash him anymore! He felt rather clever right about now. " Do you like splashing people a lot?" He asked, smiling widely as he still held onto her.

All the air rushed out of Hawthorne as Kane grabbed ahold of her arm and pulled her right into his lap, strong arms wrapping around her waist, pinning her to the rippling muscles of his naked torso. She tightened her entire body, going rigid in his arms in an attempt to put as much space as possible between their two bodies.
" Do you like splashing people a lot?"
She was blushing fiercely, fully aware of how close all of her curves were to all of his rigidness. She knew the gesture was innocent, at least she thought it was, but she was still rather uncomfortable. What was she gonna do?

She blushed more fiercely as he laughed at her clutched in his arms. She was starting to get very uncomfortable, and she squirmed a bit, testing to see whether he would let her go. She didn't know what to do, and she vaguely thought about Jun-Bo. He wouldn't let her go, especially if she explained why. At least, she didn't think he would.
Still, her discomfort was stamped clearly across her face, and she didn't know what to do. She couldn't ask Kane to let her go, it would require explanations that Hawthorne didn't want to give. They were at an impasse.

Kane chuckled lightly when he saw her blush even more. When she squirmed, Kane sighed lightly. He then noticed the discomfort on her face and decided that enough was enough. He frowned slightly, moving his arms back to his sides as he freed her from his grasp. He quickly changed the expression on his face to that of a happy one as a grin appeared on the young French boy's face. " Alright, you can stop blushing now." He commented, friendliness in his voice.

Hawthorne supposed that she was doomed to have muscular, attractive males laugh at her. Why was that? Still, everything Kane did tended to make her think of Jun-Bo. She wondered what the French boy would say if he knew what she was thinking about . . .
Then he released her, and she let her air out with a rushing sigh. Carefully she moved to sit down beside him, after all, she didn't need to run away. It's not like the guy was going to try to have his way with her, he wasn't into her that way.
" Alright, you can stop blushing now."
She laughed, a little uncomfortably at his statement. It was cute, like things a dumb puppy would say if it could talk. She smiled at him.

There it was again. Kane's behaviour was echoing Jun's, just slightly different. He lacked something that was always in Jun's voice, or maybe Hawthorne's infatuation always added that little bit of oomph to the samurai's words. She wasn't sure whether they did or not.
"I dunno, I didn't really have a plan this afternoon. I'm trying to learn not to structure my whole life so much, at least one of my friend Jun-Bo is trying to teach me."
There, she had mentioned the other boy's name. She looked down at the water, making little ripples in the water around her. She wasn't sure what she was trying to achieve here. She was pretty sure that if the older boy knew where she was right noe any chance she'd have had left would be gone.

The name Jun-Bo was one Kane had never heard before. " Jun-Bo? Never 'eard of 'im." He replied. He watched her look down at the water. Maybe this Jun guy meant something to her. Oh well, if she liked him or whatever, that was alright. Kane shrugged the thoughts off his shoulders. They were all just his guesses anyway, they were probably not right. She looked up from playing in the water and smiled at Kane. He was such a sweet guy, he just lacked some of the social graces, and those could be learned in time, easy. If she wasn't still taken with the samurai . . .

When Hawthorne smiled at Kane, he gave her a full toothed smile in return. " I guess if 'e is your friend than I should probably meet 'im." He replied. He wondered what this Jun-Bo guy was like. Maybe one of those popular types. That was what Kane assumed, since Hawthorne mentioned that he knew everyone.

Kane was shocked at her display of affection, but more or less he was surprised by it. She had just been blushing two seconds ago when he was joking around with her and now she was hugging him! No matter, Kane reached around and patted her on the back a few time. " Alright then, it's a date. I'll just 'ave to find something to wear and I'll be set!" He replied.
