We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Amber was not sure what sort of reaction she expected from Akai. After all, there were words that some could take with greater ease than others...

One of same mind, same body sometimes.
Her mind could echo his at times, though the winged girl never understood why. It was just one of those mysteries on this plane of reality. Just as she was so able to connect with a few on campus; a dunpeal, a golden-haired princess, a perfect lab-creation, one possessed to be destructive. The winged girl simply watched Akai, his movements:
"We both have our good sides. . ." Good as they could be.
". . .and our bad sides." As terrible as they could be. The winged girl nodded at him in approval and looked to Ramsey, wondering what crossed his/her mind.

Ramsey turned to watch Akai, face was still no smile. Something clicked int the deep workings of Ramseys mind. The lilac eyes flickered to Amber were these other battle bots. Would they kill the people here for thier masters. Ramsey began to go into a denensive gesture. The wings came down to form a metal cacoon. The body was covered but the head was visible.
" Are you weapons of war like me... Akai your too cold to do anything but kill...like the Jonah's.. They can be so cold .but actually..I was just wondering why you look different from Amber .....has....a different body. What are you both?"
A very complexed look might have passed over Ramsey's face. Was all shi was wanting to know was thier sexes. Was shi that naive shi didn't know about the human body.

Has even that amount of time has passed since Ramsey met Akai and Amber. A brow raises up at this. . .thing's lack of proper etiquette. Akai was never one to drag things on or beat around the bush, but he didn't just ask people are they killers straight up without even knowing the person -- and again with the blunt question of what are you. . .
The world is not set in black and white -- but rater shades of gray.
Patient runs thin, that hand supported his weight against the ledge lifted up and rub against his brow -- eyes turned away from Ramsey towards the roof of the building, the headache started to grow more intense by the moment his voice was quiet and soft, directed towards Amber--
". . .your turn." Indicating he had just given up on this battle -- it was like talking to a disobient microwave or something.

A puzzle, a puzzle broken in uneven peices. The being asked her question, if they too were weapons of war or was is about what they were biologically? Weapons of war? Now where would one get an idea like that with the little bit of information Akai had spoken of. Not enough to implement or give a sense of that kind of question.
Whatver the question was, Akai's words to his friend was simple.
". . .your turn."
In response, Amber patted his back; he could go ahead and take a break. The headache wasn't a transferable thing but she could sense a pressure over Akai. Silent frustration most likely. The white winged girl looked over at the androgynous being, midnight eyes settled on her.
"Genderwise, Akai and I are different. He's a boy, I'm a girl. We have biological differences, both visible and not so visible."

Ramsey let the wings part, they swept up, they would seem like a giant blanket being pulled back. Something is wrong with that Akai thing was the only thought in hir head. A wind blew a few strands of hair across hir mouth, pouty lips pale and soft. Hir hand comes up and pushes it down..

That was a boy she had said and she was a girl, their had been something in a book. Hir feet carried Ramsey over, well worn and in need of replacement. Shi stood in front of them both, a tiny spark of something in the depths of those vacant eyes.
“ Ohhh…that * points to Akai and mimics one of his looks * is a boy… and you * points to Amber * are a girl.. I see, I thought he looked like father. I once read about boys and girls in a book but father never let me meet anyone who came to the training center. I am sorry if I my questions were bad but you are the first to ..people I have meet and …I just noticed you were different. My other siblings have these differences think..but I am a Ramsey. We are everything and nothing..Can I ask what the differences are for a ..boy …and..a girl?”

Now this just turned weird--er.
Akai was silent for only a moment longer - Amber, she was the one who had more patient, far exceeding that of his own for instructing people and this wasn't a subject he was ready to delve into further detail about. A scoff left his lips as his eyes turned up towards black winged being -- words coming out in husk, heavy, weighted.
"Why don't you wait--" A deep sigh, a deep inhale. Speak. "--take a sex education class or something?" Change his attempt to good intentions, to spare Amber the effort perhaps, or spare himself?

The question was met with a stare of confusion from the nephilim, not quite understanding the context of Ramsey's question. It took a breif moment of mulling over the question before she realized what Ramsey probably wanted to know.
"Eh?!" A blush crossed her face and Amber quickly bowed her head to conceal her embaressment. How could Ramsey be so blunt with such a question? How could he (she) not know of the differences? It didn't help that Amber still didn't know the gender, all the more confusing.

Ramsey looked back at Akai, what in the world was he talking about. Hir mind raced back to the time shi spent with father. Nothing he spoke of was of this ...sex education. A confused look came over Ramsy's normally blank face.

Ramsey opened hir mouth, nothing came out..Deep breath...
" Ummmmmm... I am sorry ....i don't know this class you speak of...Maybe I should explain about the Ramsey series... Thier are a total of three of us.... I am the last but am just a tad bit different.... We have no........we are neither boy or girl...we are cold killers....we sleep only when necessary, we eat only a little... I am the only one who has ever left the center.. without the full training... Actually as father calls me the ....lost one....So when you speak of these things I just honestly do not understand....."
Thier it was laid out, more than was necessary to know...less that actually explained anything.

That last fleeting few words that graced Akai's ears before everything else was shut out. Lids closed over those pale powder blues, dark shadows hang from the curtain of long bangs -- consealing all of his visiable emotions. He was quiet - letting those words wash over him again and again like a cool crisp rain.
His lips twisted when silence came from this. . .thing. Was it a machine, an android. . .malfunctioning? Is that why its speech pattern is so broken. The pain grew more intense, writhing through Akai's mind.
The impending roit wasn't evident.
"Cold killer. . ." He stood up from the ledge of the building, his eyes never opened up as what little distance between he and Ramsey soon disappeared into nothingness. "So tell me then. . ." Open, open up before the machine with fist clenched knuckles white hot -- eyes glowing as golden as the mid-day sun. "Does a machine such as yourself ever experience fear."
A growl words fleeted from lips that peeled back, revealing teeth that snap shut -- his right arm lifted up to his side the soft leather didn't slow his moves, as the clenched fist started to glow with a vibrant flame -- shining -- shining, and shining brighter.

Lost...Different, unknown cold killer. How would a normal person react to such a thing? Being that Amber was far from normal, being someone guilty in precipitating death, the winged girl listened with silence. She could not cast a stone on Ramsey, simply because it was guilt of her own there.
"Cold killer. . ."
"Eh?" Amber said as heard her friend's movement, standingg up and away from her towards the android-like being.
"So tell me then...Does a machine such as yourself ever experience fear."
Though Amber could not see his eyes, the way he spoke and the tone in his voice was...different. It was hard to explain and harder to dismiss. His hand clenched and fist began to glow with a flame brighter than anything.
"Akai?" Amber said, now swinging her legs from over the ledge to stand up. A feeling that her voice may not pacify him but a hope it could try.

Ramsey watched his movements, his anger showed through tenssion in his body. The wind blew hir hair back, no real emotions to speak of yet. Fear, Ramsey thinks, would I have anything to fear from this boy. Something clicked in hir mind, the wings swept around to cover the medium sized body. A small clank can be heard as they connect to form a seamless cacoon. This was just a defensive reflex, somthing about him spelled trouble.
"Akai?"
Ramsey heard Amber call the other boys name, but hir gaze never strayed to her.
" I suppose I do feel fear....since I am still learing to know what emotions are...Should I fear you...are you going to make me feel pain?"

Amber called his name in hopes of stopping him, but he did not - that attempt was futile and it showed in his increasing actions -- the blazing arm drew back in a blur of motions before the flames dispersed into nothing -- his fist clenched tighter and tighter as the machine erected its defences -- the hellish golden glow in those once cold eyes shimmered with power.
This machine pronounced itself as a killer -- who exactly is the Dean of Admissions again? They should be fired by now, one would think that there was some moral code that school would abide by and this was something that Akai would not stand for, a machine confessing to be killer?
What right do they have. . .
. . .NONE
"Arrgh!"
Muscles flexed and snap taut as his anger exploded in flash of power. Before either of them could blink - his fist came forward in a black blur of motion, screeming forward with all of his power packed into this first punch.
Knuckles slammed into the cacoon of wings with the force of a mack truck. No doubt that this machine would be moved from its place - just before it could react, before it could process one thought of what just happened to it -- an elbow came striking down like the hammer of dawn - These were not glancing blows -- this was full on contact from an over power teenager who apprently has issues with machinery.
Where ever it lay -- Akai walked slowly toward it, his jacket was tossed to the side to be taken with the wind -- ripe muscles ache for more action, he stopped close -- looking on down this. . .thing and spoke aloud. Well well, what do we have here. . ." That cocky smirk of his took up residence upon his lips, those golden orbs leering down at the metal winged machine.
"Oh yes. . .the ultimate, androgynous, bucket of bolts!" A sneer of disbelief rushed past his lips as he tightened his knuckles again - ready for this thing to move, ready for it to make its last mistake.

The fist came towards Ramsey, the glow in Akai's eyes seemed more of that hidden anger. The fist struck hir massive wings they shook from the force. Before the shock of a hit could register another one pounded into Ramsey's cacoon. A loud wham is heard, it rocks Ramsey back a few feet. The metal held steady, the desgin perfect for human weapons. Nothing seemed different, just the startled look on hir face. He moved closer to again, the lilac eyes filled with a confusion.
"Well well, what do we have here. . .Oh yes. . .the ultimate, androgynous, bucket of bolts!"
Ramsey looked up from the deep blackness of hir wings.
" Why are you doing this...I am not trying to hurt you..Please I wish not to fight...I came her to learn to be more human...nit a a weapon."

A surge of fury that flushed through Akai's body, seeping into his aura; whatever the androgynous being had said, it had set him off. Akai punched with all of his might into the android's metal wings, the force knocking her back a few feet. By the, Amber had taken to standing and heading towards the door; not to leave but a retrieval.
Hurry!
She had brought her sword and allowed it to rest close by the door; there was little worry in someone trying to take it, for it was bound to her, burning all others who would dare touch it. Amber's hand gripped the hilt and spun around in Akai and Ramsey's direction. Akai: Clenching his fists for another attack.
"Oh yes. . .the ultimate, androgynous, bucket of bolts!"
Ramsey: Sheilded in her wings, inquiring why and wanting to be human.
"Akai, stop it!" Amber said, slashing the air. What would form, nothing. What would be felt was a gust of wind that could cut from the inside. Knowing, feeling that wouldn't be enough, Amber shot her left arm down, the pendulum sliding from her sleeve and into the center of her palm.

He did expect Amber to not see things the way that he sees them -- There was no room for this thing to exsist on the same plane as he, occupying anything close to the same time and space. So when swung her sword, he knew he would feel it. . .something tearing and ripping at him from the inside.
It was more than Ambers attack.
Golden fury, with conviction he moved again - to fast for their to keep up with in such a close proximity. After the feelings of Amber's attacks had been felt - he made a note to himself of her growing strength and not to take her lightly in any battle - practice or other wise. When he stopped moving he was standing directly behind Ramsey.
At the very core of her defense, the diamond plated wings had to have a weak spot, everything has a weak spot, and its usually at the core - the starting point. Can this thing feel? Feel Akai's grip tighten at the base of the wing cacoon, white knuckle tight -- he started to pull. He would, he will. . .rip these things from her back if has to.
"Look at this thing. . .its brain must be malfunctioning. . ." Words spoken through a raze of anger, his eyes looming towards Amber -- showing her Ramsey, showing off this thing for the machine it is. " Fresh out of the factory with no warranty" Scoff. He bit down into his lips as his tremdous strength started to pull even harder at the base of the wings.

Ramsey moved back on unsteady feet, unceartinty made her feet falter. Shi triped, the clang of the metal is heard as Ramsey goes down. Lilac eyes filled with some emotion that was not yet named to the poor little bot. Hir mind was trying to figure out a way to escape with out hurting anyone.
" Stop ....I want to leave.."
His hand was on the wings, noone was supposed to touch them. They were razor sharp, any soft object could be cut with ease. The thought of his blood on hir wings made Ramsey sick. He began to pull, it didn't hurt since they were more of her mechanical body.
"Look at this thing. . .its brain must be malfunctioning. . . Fresh out of the factory with no warranty. And already broken. . ."
His words made her go stil, was shi nothing more than a object. No Ramsy had a haeart and the ability to make decsions, so shi made one. With all the force shi could her foot kicked out and connected with Akai's arm. Ramsey had powerful strength, she heard the crack of his bones. She tried to roll away from him, she pushed her head into the cacoon to protect it incase he tried to to hit hir again.

It wasn't even her own wings being pulled and yet the very notion made Amber sick to her stomach. In a instantaneous flash, a mental image crossed the nephilim's mind. A nightmare -
but it felt so much more...
-of her arms restrained, her wings restrained by metal hooks. Struggling was useless, for the rash act of escape only allowed the hooks to latch tighter, yanking her wings from her back. And the human shaped mists that spoke old languages, whispering about her-
This image horrified Amber; how terrifying, painful! It may not have been so painful to the android, but for the little nephilim clad in lace and softness...The Tai chi sword fell from the girl's hand and clattered on the roof.
"Akai, stop! Stop please!"
Amber, who always spoke gently, screamed at her friend. Ramsey had been able to push back and roll away from him, but it would not take long before Akai would make the move to try again.

A plea -- for him to stop, or a plea for Akai to stop. But who was Akai really, what did one really know about this boy who claims to be created inside the confines of a unknown lab half around the world - where did he really go after he vanished from the rocks on the beachshore.
His eyes still glowed with all the intent of destroying this vile creation trying to pose as a human. It had kicked at Akai's arm -- but even the with all the machines strength - when Akai's eyes glowed gold, he was more than human, he was even moreperfect. Razor sharp just wasn't quite enough to draw blood from those hands when she pulled away.
"Pathetic machine. . ." The corner of the entry was close to Akai -- arm's length, then whip like he lashes out with a grunt of fury, smashing through the concrete edge of the building with relative ease. ". . .when its programming fails and it kills an innocent being--" He narrowed down on Ramsey, fist gripping tighter with each word spoken.
"--I will show no mercy"
Bide his time, that's all is to be done -- watch the machine, wait for it to make that one fatal mistake.

Ramsey hudled in the protective cover of wings. Shi had never hurt anyone, why was he doing this. The first time a real emotion had come tot the wayword being. It was cold hard fear, this was not one it wanted. Breathing became hard as Ramsey began to hypervenilate. The fear gripped like icy fingers around Ramseys heart.
" No...not a killer....Won't hurt.....please.....stop..."
Breathing becomes harder, Ramsey's eyes roll up into the back of hir head, shi slumps into a faint.

She had told him, pleaded for her friend to stop attacking the android. The huddled machine's voice, pleading for him to stop with the icy edge of fear before saying nothing else. Akai had what he wanted, to scare the "machine"; success. Thank goodness he stopped pulling Ramsey's wings, the thought still made her feel queasy.
But the nephilim had hated to see it, hated to see this caused by a close friend. What had happened to him in that time he had vanished? And that thought led to the strange mark on her back, pulsating once, twice. Would she change eventually too, command fear from other beings?
Or had that started?
He have stopped, but she had to make sure. Akai was quick, so Amber had to react in similar speed. The angelic girl dashed forward to Akai, thrusting out her arm and clutched on to his arm. One mistake her friend had made: he should've kept the jacket on. The crystalline companion, Djibril, would burn white-hot once it touched skin.
