Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Kobita sighed as V said she wasn't hungry. The boy should have saw that answer coming. It was the usual answer. Kobita leaned back and supported himself on his hands, emitted a tired yawn. He hadn't slept much at all in the last few days.
Kobita stopped mid-yawn as Amber requested rice. "There should be some in there somewhere." Kobita got to his feet and began rummaging through the paper bag until he found the right container. He didn't know what exactly V would want, so he bought at least one of most things on the menu. He would be throughly broke for a while but it didn't matter. Kobita pulled the container out, forcing it through a few others and laid it down next to the things already pulled out on his search for the rice.
"I wonder how they manage to fit all that in one paper bag." Kobita thought aloud as he set the open rice container down infront of Amber. "They you go, the best take out chinesse can offer." Kobita grabbed another random chinesse container and set it infront of V. "If you don't eat anything now, at least do so later. You need to get some energy back unless you want to be sitting around here for even longer." The boy spoke while grinning. "If that happens we won't have any more interesting tennis matches."
Re: Four and AfterIt was not your fault either. No one's. . .
"You think so?" V replies, mild; an ambiguous response.
Paper bag crackles. Paper bag rattles. V's bed begins to smell less like honeysuckle, more like Chinese food as the little parade of pagoda shaped boxes in white and red and trotted out.
When Kobita sets a container in front of V, the teenager blinks (once) gold-as-honey eyes. The entire feast is displayed. And then (lashes lower; a shadow), inclines her head and holds out a hand. "The smell is so delicious I find I'm becoming hungry. Chopsticks, please?" Polite is too mild a word.
If that happens we won't have any more interesting tennis matches. V stares at the food for an instant; is he trying to entice her to eat it, or not? The last tennis match: "You can't really call that a match; it never went beyond one round."
"And, you didn't answer: How is it you were at the furniture store?"
Re: Four and After
There comes a knock on the door just about the time she asked him a second time. Standing in the doorway is Jun dressed as if he stepped out of a samurai movie, competle with two katanas. His left hand was behind his back as he looked in at the three. He had been forced to postpone his trip to his home land, because he was not of the mind set to leave his friends in a weakened state even if it was at a school with a bunch of super naturals. He had been around the room alot since that day, in fact he had hardly left the room since that day. Once the first one had awaken he had finnaly left it for food, mainly because he had no really chose. It was eat or pass out.
"Good to see you awake and in good health."
He entered the room smiling calmly. Kobita would probely notice something small and green behind his back as he slowly worked his way towards the group. He did not want to keep them from eating so, he moved around then three so he could get to the table where the food was. He had noticed all the flowers and felt more or less foolish for what he had brought for them, but he was not trying to impress them, just prove that he had been worried. His left hand moved from behind his back and he set a single pure white rose next to each of the two women's food. He had found the purest white rose in the city to bring. It was no same feat finding two of them that were unblemished of color and marks.
"I hope all is well, considering."
He smiled at the two of them as if he was doing as he did every day. He looked to Kobita and his smile grew a little bigger, he had thought about getting the two lasses food, but Kobita had left there mumbling about it a pervious time so he had withfrained from getting food for them. He stepped back from the table after the two roses had been set down, he contuined to back up tell his back lightly touched a wall. He was not going to crowd their food while they ate, that would be rude. He had reschedled his plane for tommrow so at least today he was free to keep an eye on them a little more.
Re: Four and After
Ah, white steaming rice. One of the few foods of comfort to her. Using the wooden chopsticks, she (almost expertly) eats the rice from the take-out box. White rice had never tasted so good!
She glanced over at V and Kobita, smiling softly. Kobita had been kind enough to bring food, and she had accepted. At least she would get her strength up again. Amber was sure V wanted to get up and move around as much as she wanted to.
"Thanks for the rice Kobichi."
Another entered, Jun, and she bowed her head to him. She knew Kobita and V had no quarrels (probably) with her after the ordeal. Would it be the same with Akai, Saku and Jun? Jun spoke kindly of course, as he always had.
"Feeling much better." The winged girl said so gently, taking more bites of the rice. The young man then set something down next to her and her eyes locked on the white rose next to her. At first, the treat was pleasent to her eyes. She had always liked flowers-
And then Amber's eyes widened in fear, nearly dropping the takeout box and chopsticks. It was just a matter of seconds.
Oh no...Roses! V!
"Jun! No, not-!" She shouted, but it would already be too late.
Re: Four and After
Kobita grabbed a container and lied out on the bed, setting the container on his stomach as he pulled the pieces of chicken from it, dropping them into his mouth.
His head turned to V as she asked her question again. He didn't really have an answer the first time she asked and he didn't really have one now. It was more of a gut instinct thing moreso than anything else.
Kobita swallowed the piece of chicken resting in his mouth and prepared himself to speak. "I don't know...I heard something...something I could just sort of tell was wrong coming from the warehouse. So I went to check it out. Speaking of which, what were you doing there? They seemed to be after yo..."
Kobita was cut off as he turned his attention to the incoming visitor. "Hey Jun-Bo. And No problem Amber, glad I could help" Kobita said quietly, halfway dissapointed and halfway relieved that he didn't get an answer out of V at the moment, he didn't really want to know what she was doing there.
Kobita picked up another piece of chicken with the chopsticks. Well...on the fifth try. Kobita lacked the chopstick talent that Amber possessed and quickly gave up on picking it up and reverted to spearing it and eating it off the stick.
Kobita watched as Jun-Bo set the flower down and Amber started to yell...what was going on?
Re: Four and After
While Kobita explains, Genevieve is a mannerly eater; small and delicate bites, artistry, practiced, etc. It also looks like she's eating more noodles and mushrooms than she actually is. One bite; then nothing else at all. She listens, intent. "It was luck, then," she says, and her voice is so quiet and so steady. Was it a question?
Enter, Jun-bo; the samurai with ink-red hair and a hand behind his back. The last time she saw him he was twisting a man's head around. And around. And around. And around. V inclines her head slightly, in polite acknowledgement; and then her glance falls, and she says, "What?"
And then he puts a rose (and it's a perfect rose; as white as snow, as white as the moon; just beginning to open, with still so much bloom) next to V.
And the fifteen year old's muscles go rigid. Her gold-as-honey eyes go wide; wide; wide; and there's a quick sharp-as-a-knife gasp. The carton of garlic noodles-and-chicken drops from her hand; rolls onto the floor. The sound: squash, squish. The chopsticks follow: clatter, clatter.
Her throat clogs; her wide [lovely, scared] eyes begin to fill. She whispers: "Traitors. You were supposed to ..." No, Jun Bo - Amber says.
Re: Four and After
Smiling as he had set down the roses he notices her body go rigid as the rose is set near her. His mind was racing to keep up with the details coming in. He did not know anyone that was afraid of roses. He was just about to get confused before he heard the words from amber. His hands moved faster then his mind or thought track could. His reaction time would shock most people and make him think he had not moved. He had taken both roses off the tables in a blink of an eye and hide them behind his back; as he backed away from the woman about to spasm out of control or do something of that such. He keep his eyes on her to make sure she was not about to attack him because he had brought a rose. He back away from all three of them. His feet moved on their own. following the exact steps he had taken coming in. In fact it almost seemed like god had hit rewind, except for his eyes and his second hand behind his back.
His steel skin actived as he moved, he did not release he was doing it. He keep the rosses hiden as he moved backwards towards the door. He could sense his way with out looking. His eyes looked between the three in the room. Taking in details faster then he was use to. Her reaction has actived the training he had been doing and he was useing his chi to keep details coming to him fast.
As he reached the door his hand took ahold of the door handle and he was about to open it and leave, in fact his hand was moving with out him even thinking. His body was alive with energy. The roses in his hands were crushed by his hands being clenchs as he moved. He was not allowed anyone to see them. He body was moving thru the door as he went.

Re: Four and After
Sakura had gotten all her unopened snacks and put them in a basket : cookies, crackers, some fruit she had bought form the cafeteria, a variety of nuts, and whatever candy she had been hiding. Then she had found a few of her older mangas to bring, something for them to read as they healed. She had missed Amber not being thier in the room at night, she had not realized how much she missed her.
Her dreams had been full of the juggler, she was so mad at her self for not helping. She had not been able to do much more than stand and stare in horror. She could still hear the scremas, and she had even tried to help get out of the building. She hung her head in shame, she had almost reached the infiramry. She had to really use her makeup to cover her black rings, her pufffy eyes, and over all tired complexion.
She had put on a simple black lolita style dress, she had wanted to wear something more normal. But she needed this to help calm her. Her red hair was combed straight and the had ruffled headress on, was very much like the ones Amber wore.. She was wearing black and purple thigh high striped stockings, and the dress barely covered the top of them. Her little black maryjanes, were soft on the carpet, she felt so out of place.
As she makes her way to the room , she doesn't see the door open. Nor does she realize that Jun was walking out of it, she just needs to drop this off and go back to her room.
Re: Four and After
Kobita watched the scene unfold infront of him, a bewildered and utterly shocked look showed on his face. For a good ten seconds all Kobita could do was look at the door in silence, unsure of what just happened.
Kobita blinked slowly as if to replay the chaotic scene in his mind. Jun placed a rose down; Amber screamed; V called them tratiors and screamed at the roses;Jun picked them up and sprinted off, and now Kobita sat there, completely unaware of what was going on around him.
The boy leaned back against the wall, waiting for an explanation to come to him. "Well..."
Re: Four and After"Get it away from me. GET IT AWAY NOW!"
Jun snatched up the lovely white rose as fast as he possibly could and started backing away. Unbeknownst to everyone in the room, Saku was on her way (copy the style of the angel, like sisters) with nice snacks and Kobita predictably confused by everything that was going on.
Amber was not sure when she had found the strength, or movement really to slide off her bed, brush by the puzzled Kobita and wrap V in a calm hug. Her muscles ached and her wing tinged with pain (slight movement, still tender) but she had to. What else could there be done before she'd hurt herself?
Also, she felt the need to bap Jun for scaring V like that - he may not have known, but she still would've done so if she could move more.
Until Jun-Bo is gone, the pale-as-milk girl stares (she is her grandfather's granddaughter, after al: get away from mel) at him; her muscles remain locked.
Amber gets up, brushes past Kobita and the mess of noodles and mushrooms on the infirmary floor, and half-distracts V's vision of the door, because the hug shifts her body, the different allotment of weight on the mattress tips V closer to her friend. Otherwise, she does not move.
Her hands are clenched on the sheets, and her shoulders are up, defensive; Well, Kobita says, and V, calm down, they're gone now, and V closes her eyes, although she still doesn't move. It's a relief: the terrible and radiant gold, given a chance in the darkness behind her eyelids. Her eyes had filled, and two tears catch in her eyelashes, before trailing downward; she doesn't move.
Re: Four and After
He moved out the door and with a turn, he sidestepped Sakura with out even noticing her there. The look on his face was one of primal instinct, as if he was not in control of his body. He bolted down the hall moving with every ounce of speed he had. He literly steps up and puts his feet on the wall for a meer 10 feet span of wall so he could get by the several students that were walking in a group. He looked like as if life or death was at stake. He did not listen or hear anyone behind him. He jsut ran. His mind raced as he ran as to why he was called a traitor, all he had tried to do was give the two woman a rose as a get well gift. He shook his head as he figured it was something bad to the lass who called him it. He moved trying to think as to what they could have thought he ment by it. He leaped rolling off the wall and then landing on the floor skidding on his knees around the corner. He contuined to move fast. He disappeared around the corner getting to his feet and running full force again.
He thought of the way she acted and came to teh conculstion that either the women thought he was trying to kill the one woman or that maybe the rose ment something else to her equaly bad as death to her. He thought about it and that maybe the checmicals in it would have killed her to touch it. He whimpered as he bolted straight by the principal moving fast enough he did not notice. He turned another corner and heading out of the main building to hit up the gym. He needed time to think.
Re: Four and After
Sakura held the basket in her arms, she felt a cool wind blow past her. She stopped and looked back the way she walked all she saw was the fluttering of the papers on the wall. She shrugged, time to check on her friends. She moved to the door, she pushes it open, her back stiff from carrying the basket.
" Here guys i brought yummy get well goodies, where can i put them this basket weighs a ton."
She looks up over the basket handle, she notices the silence. the faces she thought to see happy and better. Were pale and mad, she waondder if it was her fault.
" I can take the basket back, if you don't like it."
Re: Four and After
Kobita didn't like the silence, but after whatever just happened, Kobita wasn't intent on bringing more bad luck to the room. So instead the boy sat quietly up against the wall, wondering how he could help.
Kobita saw Sakura enter through the door with an assortment of treats. Normally, Kobita's eyes would have lit up and he'd have been passing those treats out like crazy.
Kobita quickly got to his feet and relieved her of the basket. "No thats ok...something...strange just happened...not sure what." The boy whispered under his breath. "Just find a seat somewhere I guess."
Kobita plopped back down on the bed and set the treats on the table infront of the girls. "Incase you're not in the mood for chinesse?" Kobita said, a weak laugh escaping him.
Re: Four and After"No thats ok...something...strange just happened...not sure what. Just find a seat somewhere I guess."
She looks at the girls, thier faces were troubled and pale. She finds an empty chair, she gently sits down. She smooths down her skirt, and adjust her sleeves. She looks down at her shoes, she is not sure what to say.
" I wanted to say I was sorry for not helping out. I brought some snacks, is thier anything I can do for you."
She tries to keep back the tears she had beeen letting build up, her shoulders sag. She begins to cry, her tears drip down her face, they drip onto the front of her dress.
The girl's voice was gentle. If anything she should be crying at how much pain there was in her wing, the dull pain in her joints, in her muscles. She kept her arms around V, looking over her shoulder from confused little Kobita and Sakura in tears.
"She has a phobia of roses."
It was all the explaination Amber could give and slowly, the winged girl released V from the hug, sitting back on the bed. She tried with all her might to ignore the pain in her wing. Less than a quiet second in the room, the door opens and a cheerful voice fills the room:
"Ah good, the girls are awake!"
The owner of the voice looked like it could be Amber as an adult, except the woman's hair was a shade lighter (and brighter it seems) and her eyes were a sapphire blue. She was quite fit for a woman her age as well, but wore a pink long sleeved shirt and a fit pair of jeans. And so cheerful! She poked her head out the door as if talking to someone else in the hall.
"They're both up now!"
Ignoring both Kobita and Sakura, she walks over to her daughter and V. Immediately (yet carefully as a mother should) she wrapped Amber in a hug.
"Little wing, what are you doing up? You should be resting! And V, are you okay sweetie? You look so pale! I was so worried about you two!"
Re: Four and After
Amber says: No need to be. "Don't be," says Genevieve, at the same time; their voices overlap. When Amber's arms fall away, Genevieve is galvanized into straightening up; she wipes her eyes, and offers her friend a pale (almost) smile. The most serious smile anyone will ever see. "Thank you, Sakura. Look at all of this food."
Enter Ciana. Blue-eyed, an adult Amber; entirely human, and vivacious, vibrant, quick. To recap: Amber and V are on the bed closest to the window. Kobita's on the second bed. Sakura's standing between, eyes filled with tears. There's a box of garlic noodles and mushrooms on the floor (untended to!). There are sakura blossoms everywhere, and honeysuckle, too.
And now there's a gorgeous grown woman hugging Amber, turning to V. Who, having regained shreds of poise and balance, says, "Thank you."
Ciana was talking to someone out in the hall. That someone - well. Has yet to arrive!
Re: Four and After
Kobita watched the next person enter and rush in to hug Amber and V. Kobita blinked slowly at the mass of people going in and out of the room. Kobita also noticed the lack acknowledgement he and Sakura got. This resulted in Kobita lying back on the bed and staring at the roof.
Kobita laughed inside his head as he thought of the prospect of one of his family members coming to see him if he was hurt. If they came at all it would be to dispose quickly of his body.
Kobita watched the three women out of the corner of his eye and then looked back up at the ceiling.
Re: Four and After
Sakura watches as this replica of Amber pushes her out of the way, she huugs V and Amber. She hides her face in her hair, she doesn't want to draw any attention to her self she looks over at Kobita she walks over to his bed, she leans agaisnt it. She has to keep out of the way, she can't really say anything to the older Amber. She watches the open door she can hear voices, she needs to hide some where.
She knew they both forgave her which menas now her dreams might be quite. She really needed that, she anted to still be thier friend even though she didn't help save them.
Re: Four and After
Amber was embarressed, but it wasn't too apparent on her face at the moment. She seemed quite calm, otherwise that sheepish look would cross the winged girl's face. Her ever cheerful mother...how could she manage to be so energetic?
"I'm...I'm fine mom," Amber said softly, "V's okay too."
Ciana was now inspecting her hurt wing, looking at the cut that had been made. Amber wondered if her mother knew what had transpired in that furniture store, or if she knew at all. She didn't seem to, but then she knew how her mother was; cheerfulness is a deceptive mask.
"My goodness Amber, you should be more careful!" her mother said, brushing her fingers through her feathers. "You know what'll happen if your wing had it had been severed. You're a fast healer, and the school nurse does her job well to speed that up, but that gives you no excuse to be reckless."
Amber bowed her head and mumbled what sounded like "sorry mom".
Ciana kissed the top of her head, and her sapphire blue eyes gazed over to Kobita first, then she looked around to look at Sakura. She patted her own forehead with her hand, silly-silly.
"Oh, good! You had company with you, I'm glad. Thank you two for keeping Little Wing and V-Hime company."
