Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Internal Bleeding (Amber and Yakoutio)
Ness slowly wakes up, to see the nurse looking over him. He dimly recalls what had happened to him ... something about a kid who nearly spilled something alcoholic on him ... a guy with shrubbery coming out of his body ... a shining knight in metallic armor ... and ... a girl with wings. "Amber!" he cries, coming into a sitting position before crying out in the pain and sinking back. He can feel something broken on the inside, with shards of ribs embedded in a few of his vital organs, and the remains of a concussion and a wound on the back of his head ... but fortunately some of his insides had already turned to sand, and were healing and coaxing the injured muscles, sinews, nerves and tissues back into place and into their alignment--he wouldn't die from this, though it would hurt quite a bit for a while.
He looked from the side of the bed, and wandered if anyone had come to visit him while he was injured ... and was glad that no one had covered him in cold water and found out about his embarresment, since he was still a guy.

A soft voice, gentle as whisp of white feathers. Amber was sitting next to the bed in a chair, her delicate hands laced together in her lap and her eyes in a distant stare. That lasted a moment and then her eyes focused now on Ness and she smiled softly, there was a sadness there too.
"I'm really sorry you got hurt..." An apology from her. She really was sorry, Yakoutio had lost his grip on the world and hurt more students. The winged girl bowed her head.

At her second, he smiles sadly at her, his dark blue eyes fastened upon hers as he gently lays his hands upon hers--not in a sexual manner, but one of understanding. "Do not apologize. It was my decision that made me get hurt--and my decision to ask you for help that made you come and get drawn into the whole mess," he continues to smile at her, but slowly his face changes into a visage of despair as something occurs to him, and he twists onto his side, ignoring the pain, and curls up into a ball before beginning to cry miserably into a pillow he holds near his midriff.
"My ... my God, what have I done?" he moans, his weeping unceasing as his salty tears are soaked into the pillow his head is tucked into.

Amber was taken aback by the sudden burst of tears. Now she was even more confused than she already have been. Why would this person shed tears for her so suddenly? Granted she may just have been at the wrong place at the right time, or something like that and ended up being involved. However, Amber wasn't hurt at all.
The girl stood up from her chair, giving the young man a hug. After a moment of doing so, she asked her own question. It was one she had refrained from asking, due to the fact she had to deal with Yakoutio first.

Ness continued sobbing at his pillow, and sobbed into it between ragged breaths, "Me? Ness," as he continued weeping disconsolately. His fine silvery hair spreads out about him like a fine mist and then begins to clump together as it gets wet when it touches the pillow. His pale skin can be clearly seen against the white pillow, not too different in color other than the feverish flush of red on his skin from his injuries and the crying.

The girl released Ness from her hug, her dark eyes questioning. Yes, the young man was much too familiar yet she was sure she never met this person before. She took her seat again and the girl rested her hands on her lap. Contemplating...wondering...curiousity.

His sobbing grows soft as he looks at her, his storm-blue eyes red with tears as they continue to make a track down his face. "I ... I attacked another human being out of anger! It wasn't out of wanting to protect you--though that made me angrier! I gave into my anger, and it took control of me, forcing me to do that to the poor boy ... I hope he's alright..." he looks at Amber gloomily, and waits for her to respond.

The girl's dark eyes periced his stormy blue ones before she bowed her head. No, Yakoutio wasn't all right, and has not been all right in the longest time. She knew what was wrong with him, but little by little her patience was wearing thin. She knew she couldn't give up on Yakoutio, but it's difficult to keep him from hurting others without reason.
Amber lifted her head and smiled. Maybe there was a little sadness behind the smile, but she tried hard to mask it.
"He'll be all right."
The winged girl in Gothic Lolita attire, hints of delicate white lace along her black dress, had to lie again. Why worry Ness? The girl crossed her legs and thumbed her pendulum, faithfully clasped to her wrist, between her fingers. Quartz with perfect clarity, clear and smooth.

Ness suddenly gets a shifty look about him, and he rubs his feet together as he lays back into the bed. "Yeah, I get that a lot," he laughs softly, hoping that she won't discover his secret ... but if anyone did discover it, he preferred Amber, since she appeared the nicest person from everyone he had met so far. But he was so used to hiding his dual sexuality that he wasn't ready to give it up at the drop of a hat--sure, if she said that she'd made a connection, then he'd show her--but as long as the situation was ambiguous, it would stay that way.

The girl's face was solemn, she was studying him and yet there was little in the way she showed it. Amber was very capable of reading the gestures of humans. She had observed them for such a long time that she was able to know things. Humans had a way of telling what they felt through their gestures, through expressions. Amber had quite the poker face when it came to reading others.
"Interesting. Since you and I don't know each other..." she said gently started, standing up again. The winged girl brushed her fingers through her hair, not in a suggestive manner, but as if just out of kitten-like curiousity. However, humans do have a abit of jumping to conclusions when suggestive gestures are involved.
"I'd to start on the right foot by saying that I don't like being lied to." Never losing that gentle air in her voice, but it would almost seem as if a sharp glare would cross that face any second.

Ness's tear-stained face looked up guiltily at Amber, and he shook his head sadly. "It wasn't a lie ... a lot of people tell me that I look familiar ... sometimes they figure out who I am, sometimes they don't. So it's not a lie at all, it's quite true even." He looks down at his current body, and at the loose hospital robe he wears. His clothes are on a nearby chair, folded neatly, and he wonders if it's the nurse who undressed him--he hoped so, at least. "I suppose you want to see, huh?" he asked sadly. "Everyone wants to see it..."
He slowly forces himself up, and clutches at his side as he hobbles over to the door, and makes sure that no one is near and the coast is clear before forcing a chair under it so that it can't be forced open, making sure it's secure, and then hobbling over to the windows, making sure all the blinds are shut, and then proceeds to a sink. He gets a cleaning bucket off the floor, and proceeds to fill it full of cold water. Before Amber can make any sign of protest, he dumps the lot on his head. "This is also me. I'm still Ness ... and Nessa at the same time. We are one person--the same personality, the same core--just this body changes. And now..." she shivers slightly at the cold as her breasts jut out prominently from the thin cotton robe, the long luxurious hair she had before shortening to shoulder-length hair, and she lost a few inches as her face gained a little roundness, though still keeping the general shape, before she filled up the bucket once more with hot water, then dumped it on herself. The eyes however--the eyes had stayed the same color, always that deep stormy-blue. "And this is still me," Ness says sadly. "And now comes the awkward part--am I a guy, or a girl? Can you be comfortable with me not knowing exactly which? And are you afraid of me--and of becoming intimate with something like me? --Not on a sexual scale, I mean on an emotional one. Does this facet of me change anything? Of course it does. No one acts the same way once they know about the whole me," he finishes his monologue sadly, gloomily certain at the changes that will take place in their relationship.

Angels have the ability to change their appearence and gender as they please. Sexless, androgynous...they can take on either form, but susually they can choose the one that pleases them the most...
Amber had been quiet, watching Nessa...well Ness now, change before her eyes with temperature-sensitive water. The girl's eyes suddenly misted over, as if she wanted to cry but was holding back all that she could.
Angels...can do that...
Had she inadvertedly made friends with an angel? The dark irony...in all her years, both angels and demons were unkind to her, violent or cold-blooded. To die by their hands or join a side. But why did she not catch the feeling before? Had she lost her nerve or did a part of her not want to scrutinize Nessa? The kind girl that had comforted her through one night of rest, breaking the cycle of nightmares for a single, needed night. Amber literally closed up on the chair, closing off her body, her copper blond hair hiding her face and hiding her gentle sobs. She felt trapped in the room now, trapped where she was sitting.
They'll hurt me again, try to cut my wings off...please don't do that...
"I'm...not ready yet...please don't hurt me again..."

Ness sees the girl in agony far deeper than his own, and quietly goes closer to comfort her. Should she try to get away, he simply holds her closer in a firm, yet utterly gentle grip, pressing her wings closer to her back and holding her protectively to him. Underneath the thin cotton robe she can feel his lean, hard, long muscles, and his ribs gently poke her as he holds her close. After a few moments he strokes her hair, and whispers gently in her ear, "Shhh ... you know I'd never hurt you. I'd rather harm myself than hurt you ... shhhh ... it'll be alright ... there, there, that's right, get it all out ... shhh..."
He continues with this, making sure to hold her close until her weeping stops. Once she finishes, he holds her for another minute or so before stepping back a little, and holding her at arms length to get a good look at her. "Feel better? Got it all out? That's good," he smiles at her once again, his pale face awash in gentleness and ready comfort to heal a weary heart and help bear the burden of years of doubt, pain, betrayal, and anything else someone might wish to share.

Angels wouldn't do such a thing to her as comforting her. By now she had expected a pain in her wings, the flow of blood from a wound given to her. Benevolent beings, watching over humanity yet they would leave her for dead if possible. The girl's cries did ease, slowly she come to realize that if Ness was an angel, then the advantage to judge her had passed.
How would she come to explain such a thing to cover her outburst? Even half angels can jump to conclusions, and that aspect made her more human than angel. The girl wiped her eyes along her own sleeve and looked up at Ness.

Ness asked gently, and wiped the last of her tears away with his thumbs, and then raised a hand to her chin, and tilted it up gently so that he looks at her straight in the eyes with his own piercing stormy-blue ones as he feels the burden in her heart.
Suddenly, became aware of his near-nakedness, and jumped for the bed with a pained groan as he flushed a bright crimson from the embaressment of being caught half-naked, in only a thin cotton robe.

Her voice ceased and she said nothing else about that. The girl's body opened up again and her wings spread out. How would she explain herself, or maybe Nessa wouldn't press on about it. Either way, she had something in mind just in case.
Amber blushed a little at Ness's realization of near-nudity and she bowed her head. This would definetly take a little bit to adjust to. She had known Ness as Nessa (now that she thought of it, the name would've given it away...) and had shared a sleeping bag with her. What could she do?
"So...your gender is affected by water? How did that happen, or was it something that always happened?"

Ness pulls up the sheets higher, though most of his body is covered with strands his long silvery-white hair anyway, and gives a little laugh, deciding that if Amber wanted to tell him something, she'd do it in her own time, and only if she wanted to. "Yeah, it's been that way forever--I've always been affected by hot and cold water--it's why I'm so careful whenever I shower or handle hot or cold drinks, or go to the pool or hot springs." He sighed a little sadly. "So, what do we want to do about this? Does this change anything for us? I mean, it must change it quite a bit ... but are we still friends?" he asked her softly, and looked down at the soft sheets as he waited for an answer.

How troublesome it must be to always be cautious of water temperature, Amber thought to herself. However, Ness was not an angel, there was no way there would be angel with such a blatent power. Besides, Ness(a) had been around Amber long enough to make a move to kill her and yet she was still alive.
I worry too much...
The girl smiled at Ness, all calm again. Her eyes were less misty now that she had released those fears.
"It's really not that strange..." she said. It was and it wasn't, but Amber was willing to try and deal with it. After all, it had been the same to try and deal with the appearence of her wings. She rememberd that day well enough, so she could sympathize in Nessa's situation.
"I'm just happy you're not what I thought you were. I don't know wat I would do if you were..." She shook her head, not wishing to pick it apart more than she had to. It was clearly a sensitive subject for her.

Ness slid a little to the side of the bed with a groan, and patted the side of the bed, inviting Amber to sit next to him should she wish to. Ness's brow furrowed as he tilted his head to the side. "What did you ... think ... I was? You don't have to tell me, but it might feel better if you told someone and got it off of your shoulder," he asked carefully, making sure to give her the room she needed should she not want to answer him. He waited expectantly for her answer, not pressuring her, but being open to whatever she might want to tell or share with him. He wouldn't push her, but if she needed to get some burden off that only she had been carrying, he'd willingly give a ready ear should she need one, or simply a comforting presence if that should help.
He remembered the scent of her and the feel of her soft body and delicate wings in his hands, and felt something stir deep inside him, but he forced himself to repress this line of thought and these feelings--here was neither the time nor place to develop a relationship of that type, and should she give no sign of wanting one, he would not force anything on her. He waited patiently, extending his friendship to her should she still want it.

The winged girl was well adverse to sit on the bedside, her legs dangling off the side of the bed and the tips of her platform mary jane heels touching the floor. The black little ribbons in her hair encircled locks of her copper blond hair and her finger would twirl the end of her hair. She was quiet at first and it took a few moments before she could find herself speaking again.
"Someone who wants to hurt me," she said softly. "But I'd rather not talk about that."
She cast her dark eyes over her shoulder, looking over at Ness with a sad smile.

Yakoutio was in the doorway looking very stern, his eyes were his normal colour but they were fixed on her with a look of total seriousness despite his normal attitude around her, the side of his head was bleeding, clearly why he had come here but something Amber had said made him look so concerned.
“Outside” He continued, suddenly his eyes flickered as they diluted slightly, signalling something though what was unsure, it seemed that he wanted to tell her something without using words at all.
