Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber too was submerged knee deep in the water, hacking away at the arms. Knowing that there were in danger, the arms reached out to the two of them. They tried to grasp them, claw them, maybe even trying to push them down so that they can hold their bodies underwater until they drowned.
Blood dyed the lake darker than it was, even with the illumination of the moonlight. If another soul were to stumble into the area, would it resemble a murder scene? A few bloodied stumps of powder white arms protruded from the shallow parts of the lake. A few hands floated on the surface of the lake before being submerged into the dark water.
Amber hacked her sword towards a pair of arms, but instead of the wet sound of metal sinking into flesh, the two arms caught the blade of the sword between its palms. Arms behind Amber sprung out to snatch her legs, which she promptly tried to kick off.
They're not just arms...they learn?
"Knives, watch out! They're tricky!"
While Knives hacked away at the arms that tried to reach for him, there were a small group of arms that submerged themselves underwater. They manuevered under the water, reaching for the boy's legs.
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
While Knives continued to slash at the arms, it became more and more difficult. They began to dodge, to defend, even to attack! But the dog boy was still quicker, and was able to compensate. Arms fell left and right; and every time one would return an attack, he would simply dodge it; he was fast enough to do so with ease, the fists slamming into the water around him, causing huge splashes. He would actually use that to his advantage, slashing the fist as it flew by, and destroying that arm....yet, they kept coming. And it was getting more difficult. "Why won't they stop coming!" He shouted.
He could tell the arms were coming from underneath him. He didn't see it, but he smelled it; his nose worked like a dog's, and could separate specific smells. Therefore, as the hands sped through the water towards him, he could pick up that specific scent that they were giving off. When they came near, he leapt out of the water, several feet into the air. Both hands were tensed in front of him, as more arms came towards him. Now, he'd gotten used to the sound; he could concentrate. As he focused his energy into his claws, causing them to glow blue. Now, as he slashed, his claws left behind trails of blue light; they were much stronger now, and were able to hack through several enemies in a quick swing with ease.
"Knives, watch out! They're tricky!" Upon hearing Amber's voice, he turned his head. He now saw that she was in trouble, both her sword and her legs having been trapped by these monsters. As soon as he hit the ground, he moved to spin around in her direction, hoping to leap towards her, and help her. But it was in that moment that he was blind-sided, a fist hitting him hard in the side of the face, catching him completely by surprise. The hit had force behind it, causing him to fly through the air, the impact spinning him around several times during the flight. By luck, though, he hit one of the arms holding Amber's sword, knocking it away and freeing the sword.
When he hit the water's surface, he slipped through, flying into the water a bit. But the water's consistency not only slowed his movement, it also gave him the chance to use his arms and legs to stop himself. As soon as he could stand up, he did, and then lunged back into the battle....

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Thanks to Knives quick thinking, her sword was freed and she was able to slash the arms that had held the sword in place, divine retribution as the hacked wrists dropped into the murky water. A quick survey tolld her Knives was all right, but she had to wonder how long both of them would last. Everytime one would be hacked, another arm would blossom. Even stranger, Amber realized that the arms had began to leave a part in the lake.
What are they trying to do...
She turned her attention to the arms that clawed at her legs, trying to dislodge her from standing. The first slash suceeded in the arms releasing her left leg. Her right leg recieved a rough and deep grab, claws digging in just below the back of her knee. It had hurt enough that Amber had kneeled.
"Intereo," a frozen but dulcet voice hissed, though where it came from Amber was not sure of. Latin, she realized too late...
Split seconds, her eyes widened, a pair of arms reached out and grabbed her neck. These arms were not powder white, though the skin was fair and sleeved in dark leather. She gave a small noise before the arms dragged her underwater. At the same time, the majority of the hands began to move to Knives; maybe to keep him busy.
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber could only make a small noise from her choked throat; but that was more than enough for the sensitive hearing of the dog boy. He heard her, and immediately turned to run to her rescue. This time, of course, he kept his attention focused behind him, his ears and nose keeping track of what the arms were doing. And, unfortunately, all of them wanted to get him now...even the arms in front of him, which had before been focused on Amber.
A fist slammed down right where Knives had been. With a quick roll to the side, the dog boy had barely been able to avoid it, and watched as it moved only inches from his body, and hit the water's surface with a huge splash. And with that, he realized he had to focus on his own problems, and prevent himself from being killed or captured - at least, if he planned to actually make it to Amber.
As soon as his toes hit the bottom of the lake, he kicked off again, this time leaping high into the air. With both hands ready, his fingers tensed, Knives leaned his weight in one direction, forcing his body to spin around. In the process, he stretched his arms out, so that his claws slashed through everything that came close...and, as his energy was still focused into his claws, making them stronger, he was able to destroy all of the arms that were nearby. Knives knew this wouldn't stop them; but it would give him a quick chance to get to Amber.
Once he hit the ground again, he made a run for it in the angel's direction. When he was somewhat nearby, he pushed off with this legs, launching himself into the air once again, flying through it towards Amber to help her. He reared back with one hand, and slashed hard at the arms choking her...
(ooc: you can go anywhere with this...make them attack Knives while he's not on guard, or make Knives's attack actually work. Whatever works best for whatever you're doing here..)

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
What would Knives see in the murky water? The arms did look different, but even in the murky water, he would able to see the arms (unlike the others that continue to try and attack him) were attached to a bright light just underneath the water's surface. The blood-drenched water only dimmed this brilliant light. He slashed hard, chunks of flesh ripped from the arms. However, it seemed to be pulling Amber back in the water.
Drown the sinful breed of angel.
[From there, time seems to slow down.]
To Amber, she could clearly see past that light. A woman...no a man, she wasn't too sure. The being had long hair that fanned out in the water, and golden eyes. They were not like her friend V's brilliant eyes, but a more cold and ominous kind of gold. The being's arms squeezed her throat tighter and the facial expression was one of a vile, expectant smile.
"How is your mother, my dear?"
A voice floating in her mind, one that was unfamiliar and quite harsh in the way it had said 'mother'. Amber clawed at the hands around her throat, she was getting lightheaded. She could see Knives close by. The being's golden eyes stared up at him and then stared into her dark eyes again.
"You don't want me to kill him, I suppose...you're no fun little Ambriel. Listen well: ponder over why the Grigori had not found you yet, but I have. Ponder your fate when you cross the threshold where angels stray."
It probably seemed as if seconds had passed between Knives's hard slash at the arms, the message from and the sweet release. Amber had took one breath; one full, sweet breath! The brilliant light suddenly melted away, the several powder white arms retracted into the water and the lake became calm again. Even the blood that had filled the lake melted away.
Amber scrambled for her sword in the water. She couldn't even remember dropping it. She felt the cool metal and grabbed the handle before standing up. Yes, the lake was calm, without a trace of the strange events that had transpired. Both students were drenched, as if they had merely been playing in the lake.
The winged girl looked over at Knives, but she did not know what to say to him, how to explain. How could a dream come to life?

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
The arms had come back upon Knives. His last attack had only succeeded in destroying those nearby, buying him time...but there were still more. And this time, they wouldn't fall for that trick. So the dog boy returned to slashing, his claws tearing through the flesh of several of the arms at a time; but there were always more. Fists came smashing down around him; he was starting to have a little trouble dodging so many attacks, when they all came at him so quickly, and from every direction.
Out of the corner of his eye, Knives noticed Amber struggling. As he took a quick glance over at her, he realized that the arms were choking her, and she seemed to have difficulty trying to get free. Then, a light suddenly shone from beneath him. His quick glance at Amber became a long stare at the water beneath him, as he squinted and tried to see past the blood and the light, to whatever was truly there. But he didn't have much time to focus, as the arms suddenly attacked, many hands falling down upon him and taking hold. He was lifted into the air, and though he struggled tremendously, his entire body remained in the many grips of the hands.
And suddenly, they went away. Every hand let go of him, and slipped back into the water, leaving not even a ripple behind. As soon as they did, Knives fell, landing on his back in the water and causing a large splash. After sinking a little, he rolled over so that his feet touched the ground, and stood up. Though his eyes searched the area, his nose sniffed the air, and his ears twitched about for any sign of whatever that thing was, he could not find it. It was gone.
Immediately, he turned to run towards Amber. He slid to a stop beside her, and placed both of his hands on her shoulders gently, comfortingly. He leaned slightly to the side, so that he could look at her face (as he was beside her, he needed to do this..). There was a worried look on his as he gazed at her, though it was combined with a confused look as well.
"Are you ok?" Was his first question; then, "What was that?"

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber's dark eyes were wide and staring into the spot in the water where she saw the being, where he (or she) had almost choked the life out of her without remorse. The voice of the being stuck most in her mind, chillingly familiar yet the face she did not recognize at all. A beautiful face with the most vile smile; who was that person?
He...It knows my mother...
Heaven had found a loophole somehow, her previous notion of the school being a safe-place from both sides had been dispelled. If Heaven found a way inside the safety ofd the school, then Hell certainly could too. The hard days are coming, an ancient voice from her past told her while pressing his cool hand onto her forehead, be ready for the strangest of days...
Amber glanced up at Knives now, realizing that he was still there and still alive. The being had spared his life, just as she had begged in her own mind and without ever speaking. A life had been spared, even if more troubles threaten to pile into her life.
It'll come back you know...
"I...did you see...too?" Broken words from a clearly frightened half-angel. It was hard to tell if it was just her being drenched or if her eyes had become misty with tears.
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber was soaking wet, and her face carried a look that told Knives she was scared beyond reason. His ears drooped when he saw this look on her face; it made his heart sink to look at those big, frightened eyes. Without knowing what else to do, the dog boy slid his hands down from her shoulders, and wrapped his arms around her. He pulled her into a tight, friendly hug; nothing special, other than it was to be comforting. He felt her body against his, her chin on his shoulder...but he thought nothing of it, he was far too worried about Amber, and wanted only to comfort her. Gently, he tilted his head to the side, letting it rest against hers, so that his mouth was close to her ear.
"It's alright....whatever that thing was is gone now....and I'm here for you." He let his grip loosen a little, and his hands slid from the middle of her back to her arms. He took a step back, and looked down at her face, giving her a big, encouraging smile. "You don't have to worry about it anymore."
"I...did you see...too?" He nodded a little. He had seen something...some sort of light had shone from underneath him, deep at the bottom of the lake. Though, he hadn't been able to determine what exactly it was that shone so brightly. As Knives looked down into her face, he saw her cheeks stained with tears, and some of the water had even welled up in her eyes. Gently, he removed one hand from her arm, so that he could lift it to her face. He placed his index finger beneath her eye, so that he could wipe away the tears that had formed there. "Yeah...I saw it. That was pretty scary...but we did alright, those things are gone now."
He turned his head to gaze out across the water. They were truly gone, having disappeared beneath the lake's surface just as they had shown up. He wondered if they truly were gone, though; somehow, it seemed to end too easily, too quickly.

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)They're all gone, like a passing nightmare.
Amber did not react to Knives gesture of wiping her tears. Instead she followed up his gesture, wiping her own tears on her already soaked sleeve. Around her wrist, the pendulum was no longer glowing but there was a definite red mark. The crystal may have burned her sometime when she had been hacking away at the swords.
That's right, she remembered fighting those powder white hands, smelling the blood mix with lake water and the sound of steel cutting through flesh. The entire time Amber felt as if she had been walking through a lucid dream, trying to control the things around her. Dreams are different in that respect; they usually changed.
The lake water had wiped her blade clean, she had took a look at it when she had initially scrambled for it. Not a trace left of the strange occurance. After a long period of silence from Amber, she started wading towards land. Anything to get away from the water, away from the lake...
"That man..." She murmured, less scared than she had been earlier. Her words however still sounded distant or delusional.
"Or woman...spared you. But I don't understand how he knew, or what it all meant..."
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Of course she didn't respond to his actions; he never expected her to. His actions hadn't been for any reason other than to comfort her, and he didn't think twice about her reaction. She was scared, he could tell by her actions...who wouldn't be, after being attacked by arms, attached to nothing but a bright light? Knives sighed as he gazed down at her, his ears drooped to show he felt the same way as her.
Knives saw Amber's eyes drift downwards, and he followed suit, his own eyes trying to see what she was looking at. When he looked down, he saw the pendulum dangling from her arm, out of her sleeve. It didn't seem to be doing anything special now, so he didn't understand what was so interesting down there; he didn't see the mark that it had left. So he returned his gaze on Amber's face, trying to smile to make her feel better.
"That man...Or woman...spared you. But I don't understand how he knew, or what it all meant..." Knives blinked, and thought back. Now that he remembered, that fight did seem like it was far too easy. In the end, the arms seemed to have the definite advantage....and then just disappeared. He sighed, and scratched the back of his head. It gave him a bit of a sheepish look. "wow, that makes sense, huh? Those arms coulda killed me, and then they just let me go..." He tilted his head to the side. "Well, at least it's over, huh?"
Now that it was over, Knives felt much better. He was no longer afraid of the arms, and his adrenaline rush had left him, leaving him feeling completely relieved, his whole body full of that tingling feeling that comes right after such an incident. He gave her a big smile; his upbeat personality had come back, and the seriousness had gone away.
"But you were great! You prolly coulda beat whatever that thing was even if it hadn't come!" He laughed, and gave her a big smile, his ears perking back up again. He was happier now, and wanted to make her feel better too.

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber did smile, but it was a bitter one. Whatever the being was, she knew it only meant disaster. The aura around it was certainly heavenly...and then it occured to her what it was. In her room, there would be a notebook hidden away in her desk. Notes scribbled down from a few years of research and notes about the Angelic Heiarchy.
Now finding herself out of the water, Amber drops to her knees in the grass, her hand smoothing out her dress over her legs. This notion about what the being was upset her more than her dress being soaked. She set her sword next to her and crossed her arms, the mark probably visible now. It didn't hurt anymore at least, but then she couldn't even remember feeling such a burn.
"No...I can't beat a virtue..."
She shook her head, competely changing the subject before Knives could question what that could mean. The being knew now of Knives, so was it possible that it knew about Akai and V too. Amber looked up at Knives, visibly she had calmed down from her shock. He seemed to know what he would be in for being a friend to her, the tip of the iceburg...but there may be no need for words.
"But I should take it as a compliment that you said I could beat that thing..."
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber slid out of his grasp, falling to her knees, too low for his hands to remain gripping her arms. She had a smile on her face, but he could tell it wasn't a pleased one; she was still bothered greatly by the situation, and Knives could tell. He sighed, and took a seat in front of her, his legs crossed. He leaned forward, placing both hands on the grassy ground beneath him, to get just a little closer to Amber. His eyes gazed at her, and he frowned a little - he didn't look unhappy, and his fear had subsided, he simply seemed bothered by the fact that Amber was still worried, even after the battle was over.
"No...I can't beat a virtue..." Knives blinked a little. Virtue? He had never heard of a "virtue" as a being. The word "virtue" meant a trait, some part of a person's personality to be proud of. His head tilted to the side as he looked at Amber, giving her a look of curiosity. "A-a virtue? That was called....a virtue?" He looked out towards the lake, his mind drifting back to the incident as his eyes gazed at the silvery surface; he couldn't even tell anything had happened by looking at the water.
"But I should take it as a compliment that you said I could beat that thing..." He nodded, and gave her a big smile.
He thought for a moment, about all that had just happened. It seemed something deep was going on with Amber, some sort of insane history was behind this little angel. That battle had given him a little bit of insight into the girl's life, so he understood why she was this way a little more. He did not know what that thing was...but it was after her. Which meant that something big wanted to get her....something he couldn't understand. As his mind went over these new thoughts, he knew that such a thing would scare off most people, that they would not want to be drawn into something that dealt with such high and powerful beings. But it didn't frighten Knives away. On the contrary, it made him feel the need to help this girl, to protect her - even though she was probably more powerful than he was. He couldn't understand why anyone would want something bad to happen to this cute, sweet little angel girl...but it didn't change the fact that he wanted to prevent anything bad from happening, if it was at all possible.
"I'll definitely protect you." He said, suddenly, out of the blue. He hadn't meant to speak that aloud; but when he said it, he realized that he had no desire to take it back. he gave her a huge smile, but there was a look of seriousness in his eyes; he meant every word. "That is, if I can..."
Suddenly, something caught his attention. He snapped out of his sequence of thoughts, to look down at what he'd seen. It was a mark, a red burn mark on her wrist. His eyes widened at the sight, and his hands instantly shot out to grasp her arm, turning it over gently so he could get a better look. His ears drooped, and he looked up at her, frowning. "How did this happen?" He seemed genuinely worried about it. "Are you alright?"

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)"I'll definitely protect you."
"What?"
The winged girl looked up at him. Those words chilled her, but she forced her body not to react to it. No, no that was something she wanted to prevent. Everyone who had that desire to protect her always vanished from her life. A being from the shadows told her once that even those involved in her life would suffer misfortune. It had to be part of the curse!
And now...Knives will...
"How did this happen? Are you all right?"
Amber seemed bewildered by those concerned words, that is until she followed Knives' gaze and found herself staring at a red mark on her palm. Djibril had burned her? She could never remember feeling that happen...unless it had occured when she was being choked.
"...Yeah." She said, her voice sounding as if she was waking up. "It doesn't hurt...I don't even remember where this came from..."
Amber suddenly seemed to collapse, resting on her back and staring up at the sky. Her wings fanned out a little so that there was no discomfort when she had landed on the grass. The moon had shifted since the two of them looked up. How much did time pass during that dream?
"Knives...you should becareful with promises, with your words..."
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)"What?" Knives smiled to her as he heard this response. He saw the look on her face immediately after he said it, and mistook it for a look of surprise. After all, he had seen all of this; he was sure she expected him not to want to be her friend anymore. But he gave her a nod, and a big smile, in response to this, and repeated himself again. "I will definitely protect you, if I can."
But he was wrong about her reaction. As he watched her, he noticed that she was struck by his words in the opposite way he'd expected. In fact, she practically cringed, as if his help had been some sort of horrible threat. Knives's eyes widened, and his ears drooped, as he saw the body language that she was giving him. His head tilted to the side, giving him a completely confused look. He could not understand why such a simple thing would bother her; especially when such a promise was usually a good one!
"Are....what's wrong?" He blinked.
But now she'd responded to his other question. In seeing her reaction, he had nearly forgotten about the wound on her arm. As she spoke of it, he blinked, and his eyes widened in realization. He immediately looked back down at her arm, his hands putting pressure against her soft skin, in order to lift her arm up towards him once more. He looked at the burn mark, and then back up to Amber's eyes. He let out a small sigh, and nodded. "If...you're sure you're alright." He gently lowered her arm back to her lap, and removed his hands, placing them on the ground between the two of them once more.
"Knives...you should becareful with promises, with your words..."
He blinked. Again, he could not understand it. His head tilted to the side, and he gave her the same confused look as before. Why should he be careful? What was making her worry about him protecting her? He could not believe that his help would be a bad thing. In response to her comment, he asked, bewildered, "What do you mean?"

"It's...nothing. Things don't always turn out so wonderful is all that I mean."
Of course she wasn't going to tell him now. Knives would probably end up finding out for himself one way or another. All part of that god-given curse of hers. The half-angel closed her eyes, her eyes were heavy from all the fighting going on, all the thoughts that circled endlessly in her mind.
"All I ask is that you're careful with your words..."
She would drift off to sleep, hopefully a dream that wouldn't shape into a nightmare.
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)"It's...nothing. Things don't always turn out so wonderful is all that I mean."
Knives blinked at her, and sighed. His eyes continued to gaze at her, as she lay there, eyes closing, about to go to sleep. He didn't want her to be hurt, to feel bad; she was a pretty girl with a cute little personality, and on top of that, she was his first friend. If he didn't help her, he would feel bad about it....yet, somehow, what he had said had the same effect on Amber that he was trying to prevent with his words....a sigh escaped him, and his ears drooped even lower than before, as he continued watching her, even as he found she was asleep.
After a few moments, he fell back into a lying down position as well, sprawled out across the grass. His hands rested behind his head, holding it up, as if they were his pillow - it was the most comfortable position he could get into. Both legs stretched out on the grassy ground, and he was lying on his back. His hair had fallen everywhere around his head, and his eyes gazed up into the sky - most specifically, they were drawn to the moon, an object he seemed to enjoy every night.
There was nothing but silence now, a distinct difference from the battle earlier, and even from the conversation with Amber. There were no sounds coming to his sensitive ears, save the few noises of the nocturnal creatures. The moon hung low now; the night was nearing its end. Knives would have to sleep soon, if he wanted to catch any rest tonight....but he couldn't. Now that he had time to think, his mind was filled with thoughts. Questions about what had happened, what the creature had been, even who Amber really was....and thoughts, questions, and ideas filled his head about his new life at MHS. He had no clue what could happen....his first night had already been more eventful than his whole life thus far!
With all of these thoughts, he stayed awake for another couple of hours, lying next to Amber on the grassy ground, in the moonlit field by the lake. It was nearing sunrise when he finally fell asleep....
The next morning, he awoke; it had only been a short rest, but he couldn't sleep with the bright sun shining down upon him - one of the problems with sleeping outside. His eyes fluttered open slowly, and his mouth opened wide to let out a huge yawn. After a great big stretch, all of his limbs stretching out as best they could, he pushed himself into a seated position, leaning lazily back onto his hands. His head turned slowly, and he looked through half-lidded eyes to see if Amber was still asleep...or even still there...

Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Amber Ramius had vanished. When was it that she left? Maybe in the morning while he was still asleep. Maybe she prayed once to protect Knives from anything and had went on her way. The only trace of her left was a pristine white feather and a short note held in place by a small stone. The paper smelled like jasmine and green tea, maybe even a hint of cherry blossoms.
Knives,
My room is Floor 3, Room 3. Drop by anytime for tea. Thank you for your help, I suppose I owe you one now. Watch yourself and see you around campus.
~Amber
No answers to all of the questions in his mind, no explaination for what happened that night. They would surely meet again; it would not be too difficult at all to find the lonely winged angel wandering the grounds of MHS.
Re: New student on a midnight walk about campus. (open!)
Knives looked groggily at the spot where Amber had lain, his eyes just staring blankly for a moment. He was still sleepy, and his mind wasn't working correctly. But, after a few moments, his mind seemed to connect the different things together. His eyes finally noticed that the body of the cute little angel had disappeared from the spot where it was, where he was staring. His eyes opened wide, and he tilted his head to the side curiously. One hand moved up to the back of his head, so that he could scratch it, as he thought about what could be going on....why would she leave? He let out a sigh, and shrugged. It really did not matter; maybe she was a morning person, or maybe she had something important to do.
Then, he saw what she had left behind. His eyes stared at the paper and the feather for a couple of moments, examining them, before he reached out with the same hand he'd scratched his head with. His fingers closed around the items, and he lifted them up to look at them more closely. Blue eyes drifted back and forth across the page, following the words written on it. A smile crossed his face; he would definitely stop by to see her. As he finished the letter, he set it down in his lap, and tilted his head back to look up to the sky.
"First night, and I'm almost killed? I think I'm gonna like the excitement here!" He laughed a little at his own thoughts.
Then he returned his gaze to the feather that he had picked up. It was a soft, white, bird-like feather....just like an angel's feather! Knives smiled. Had she really left him one of her own feathers? His fingers rubbed the feather gently, enjoying the feel of it against his skin. He wondered if her wings felt like this, or if they were even better, being covered in feathers like this one....His smile grew. This was a nice gift, one he'd keep and treasure. Too bad he didn't have something similar to give in return.
And with that, he stood up. After one more gaze out across the water, he turned back to head towards the school. It was his first full day at school....he'd have to find something to do.
And somewhere to rest after the night....
(And so, my first thread comes to an end, huh?)
