We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Ayeka sighed as she sat by the edge of the lake. It had been a few days now since she and Jun had been attacked in the forest and yet she still had been unable to shake the memories from her mind. Despite all the crazy things that had happened to her since then such as the incident in the garden of silver light the attack still ran through her mind constantly.
Ayeka grabbed a handful of pebbles from beside her and started skimming the rocks across the surface of the pond. Skimming rocks was something she used to do frequently when she lived with her hippy parents. She had become quite skilled at it as it gave her away to be away from her family.
She hadn't figured out why she was avoiding Jun, it had become more difficult as the days went on. She had managed to avoid him a few times in the school however when she saw him again in the garden she completely froze . She sighed again and threw another rock into the pond. She knew despite how large the school was eventually they would see each other again and next time she would be more prepared.

*He had been walking thru the forest around the lake. He was not totaly sure as to why he was walking around it. He could feel the chi of the world almost as if it was leading him some where. He frowned slightly. It had been several years since this had happened last time. He noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. He snapped his head that way, just in time to see a stone sink into the water.
The feeling he had been follow just vanished. He smirked and moved towards where the rock had come from. After a while he saw the person who was tossing them. He continued to move towards the person. Soon enough he recognised the chi and the figure. It wa female and he soon knew it was the lass from the forest. He smiled and nodded slightly. He approched her with a soft smile.*

Ayeka's head cocked up and stared directly into Jun's eyes. For a horrifying moment her throat closed up on her and she felt herself completely unable to speak, she didn't fear Jun in any way it was more that despite telling herself she was ready to face him, now that he was here she found herself feeling like a dear in the headlights.
Rather then look at Jun she instead chose to return to skipping rocks across the pond. She concentrated all of her energy into trying to seem calm as she skipped another rock across the pond, it skimmed five times before eventually sinking below the surface of the water lucky rock she thought to herself.
"Considering i almost had my trachea torn out by a vicious dog monster a few days ago I'm doing okay." She threw another rock across the pond watching it sink below the water, and again cursing it for it's luck.

He was saddened that she felt off by it. He had to remind him self that no matter how much of a fighter he was, others were not like him.*
"Well it seems that the forest event is still bothering you. I appologise for the events that unfolded there. I am sort of a protector of the school against the monsters. I had hoped the monsters would not show up while you were in there."

A wave of guilt suddenly rushed over Ayeka, she finally realised how unfair pinning the events on Jun were. She had never thought such things would live around the school, but then again considering the extraordinary abilities most of the students possessed she guessed nothing was out of the question.
"I know it's not your fault Jun, there is no need to apologize, i just have never seen a living creature die before, much less by her hands. And it seems no matter how much i tell myself that it was the right thing to do it still haunts me." Ayeka shook her head as if trying to remove the memories from her mind. She felt almost silly telling this to Jun, especially considering he obviously dealt with these beings alot.

"Do not worry. You never get over the haunting feeling for good, but you do get use to the thought of having, had to protect your self. Then you think of the fact that you had to kill to protect your self and another and it took killing to do that protection. Once you learn that single truth, you mind will be able to rest easy."

Ayeka shifted in her place as Jun ruffled her hair in a comforting manner. It was not that she felt uneasy around him more that she was uncomfortable about men touching her in any sense other then John, who was an obvious exception. She listened to him speak about the actions of killing for the sake of preserving oneself. She wasn't sure she wanted to hear it but she understood why he had told her.
"I simply hope i am never put in that situation again." She muttered as she threw another rock across the pond. "It's a strange feeling though, i don't feel remorse for the creature but for the action. Does that make sense to you?"

Ayeka began to feel better when Jun clarified that her feelings were normal, in no way did they go away but they did subside for the time being. She wondered if Jun knew he had a calming quality about him, perhaps that was why he seemed to be in so much trouble with that witch Sakura and Hawthorne.
When he mentioned that people were more touchy feely around here she couldn't help but laugh as the first thought that flashed into her mind was Chris and Hawthorne in the garden together. Or more the look she gave her to get him off her.
"I have noticed that, the problem is though i've always interacted in such a formal way and usually with people that are much more mature, i almost don't know how to relate to some of the other students."

Ayeka looked at Jun, had he just said that he was hundreds of years old? He certainly didn't look as if he was "Several hundreds of years old" Ayeka sat upright and looked Jun up and down once more.

Ayeka didn't understand alot of what Jun had said especially all that stuff about chi or about relearning his powers but what she did understand was what he had said about his age. The girl did a quick double take at Jun, he certainly looked no older then she was, perhaps a few years but several hundred? The idea was impossible in her views but then again since coming to MHS nothing seemed impossible.
"So then....how?" She wasn't sure exactly how to put his thoughts into to speech but from what she had seen and heard she knew Jun was good at reading peoples speech and facial expressions to understand what they had intended.

"Well most of my powers use chi to be used. I have a move called Rise of the Phoenix, that uses all the chi in my body to turn my body to ashe when I die. Then a week later I come back in a body that is roughly tweenty years younger. Then I have to retrain most of my powers when I come back. Once I have retrained them, I can use Rise of the Phoenix again."

Ayeka looked at Jun still with confusion. While she didn't fully understand it did make her envious. It seemed everyone she met at this school was so powerful, either they had combat training or just good powers. It made her feel very weak in comparison because all she could do was talk to trees...
"So um...does it hurt?" She asked not realising how stupid the question sounded until it had come out. Whenever she thought of phoenix's she thought of firebirds crashing into a heap and burning to death...perhaps she didn't envy Jun much after all....

Ayeka listened to Jun speak about his powers and could only nod. She had never imagined anyone at this school would be able to have such an interesting power. She laughed then picked up another rock and threw it across the waters edge.
"Yes well i can't imagine burning to death would be very enjoyable. At least your powers are useful, all i can do is talk to trees." She shuddered and thought about what had happened between her and that girl Sakura on the roof the other night.
"Like the other day, this wretched slut Sakura attacked me on the roof and i could do nothing to stop her." She didnt want to got to much in details, the event had shook her a little.

*He listened to her speak and shrugged lightly. He had wished he had knowen what plants said, because he used them for practice often. He now only used this one very old tree, which in itself seems magical, because it is the only tree he had hit and not damage.*

Ayeka was glad to hear that she was not the only one who had crossed Sakura. The girl was obviously crazy and it made Ayeka feel slightly more comfortable to know that she had not been singled out by the girl.
Ayeka listened to jun as he spoke, although the offer to be trained by someone who was obviously as skilled as Jun was very tempting Ayeka wasn't sure if she could take up the offer. Although she would have loved to improve her current attack arsenal which consisted of, scream, spray them with mace, then run she obviously couldn't learn to fight in her normal attire.
"I would appreciate it" she finally answered after a very long pause.

Ayeka laughed as Jun spoke about the training and school. She had been here quite a while now and she had yet to go to many classes, she seemed to spend most of her time being attacked by strange monsters...or Sakura...or Ryoko....the idea of adding school into that mix seemed chaotic to her. Oddly enough she had come here to learn how to control her powers better, and it seemed simply by interacting with others that she was obtaining that wish.
"Yes i agree, i have yet to see many students take their schooling seriously, it all seems more of a hostel then a school. More of a place for people with unique powers to interact with others like them wouldn't you agree?" In an odd way it was the first glimpse of normality that she had shown Jun, normally her manner of speech was proper and formal however now she spoke casually and without a tone of upper class to her voice.
