talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka strolled through the forest admiring the various forms of wildlife that she saw, she had never been in such a beautiful place. The forest she had grown up in was littered with garbage and hippies. The trees there were also very hippish and once she moved to the city the only trees she saw were at Princeton's park.

But now as she walked she felt enriched with life. She was wearing one of her traditional light blue dresses with her favorite purple road draped over it, it was not tied in the center like she normally had it because of the weather. Of course her bow was draped over her shoulder alongside her quiver just in case.

"Hello there." Ayeka said stopping at an old oak tree.

" Why hello there, it is unusual for a young human to be able to speak our language." The tree responded.

The conversation continued, Ayeka sat down beside the tree and continued to speak to it completely lost to the world.

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
*He was running along the branches and then from tree to tree thru the edge of the forest. He was moving along on his normal path to make sure the monsters were staying in the forest. The past few battles with the monsters were getting tougher and tougher. He was honestly expecting the monsters to invade the school some time soon. As such he set it upon him self to keep watch every evening/night to keep they from laying seige on the school.

He noticed someone walking into the forest. The person had something with them, but he could not see what it was. He figure it was some sort of weapon but was not sure what type. It was on their back. He shifted the direction and moved quickly thru the branchs towards them. When he got with in tweenty feet of the person he slowed his advance to the point where he could hide his foot steps.

He could easily pick up the chi signal from the person. He moved very quietly when he moved around tell he was in the tree above the person with the bow. He started trying to take in the details about the person. He keep his senses open trying to make sure the monsters were not around. He smiled as he noticed it was female. He wondered if she was a good fighter.

He looked to the cloths he was wearing. If some one did not know him, they might thing he was a military man. He have cammo pants that were tight enough that he would not snag them, but plenty loose for movement. His sleevless shirt was also cammo. He had an ammo vest on, to carry all the items he thought he might need on his trip out here. He carried dual blades on his back. One hilt wad up and the other was down. It was his combat blades. He used these when he hunted.

He looked back to the woman and he cruched down, and then stayed prefectly still. His mongoose reaction was itching. He did not know why, but he had a feeling that he should not be where he was.*

Ayeka was completely oblivious to the man hiding in the tree jumping between the trees, as she continued her discussion with the oak tree. As soon as the man jumped into the oak tree however the tree said to Ayeka.

"There is someone sitting in my branches, he seems to be watching you."

Ayeka's head quickly cocked upwards. Instinctively she cocked her bow knowing fully well she probably wouldn't be strong enough to fight him off but she wouldn't go down without at least trying.

"Alright you pervert show your face!" She yelled.

*With only a slight smile he flipped off the tree branch fliping four times. His hands moved to grab the hilts of his swords and drew them as he flipped. His steel skin took effect protecting him from any damage that would come his way.

He looked competly normal. His skin moved and was tight againest his muscles like with out the power actived. There was no way to tell he was useing his powers.

As his feet landed on the ground he leaned slightly forward and held his right blade stright behind him and his left blade slightly in front of him. The look in his eye was one of amusement.*

"I am surprised you could sense me. But you have me wrong if you think I was watching you because I am perverted."

*His sense continued to scan the forest. He could pickup a few smaller chi signals, but nothing he was worried about. His stance was easily one that could move fast if he needed to close the small distance between them.*

Ayeka was frightened when the man flipped out of the trees and pulled his swords on her. She jumped back a little as he spoke to her. She lowered her bow slightly trying to show she did not want to fight him. She knew if he attempted to attack her would have no chance against her.

"Ayeka, do you need assistance?" The oak tree said to her. Ayeka shook her head trying with every inch of her body to show she wasn't scared.

"just wait friend." She said. Ayeka turned her attention back to the man and stared at him. "The why were you watching me?" She asked taking a step backwards.

*With but a small movement his hands moved and the swords went back into their sheaths. He tilted his head to her bow. He did not often see people these days useing that sort of weapon. He heard her question and he just strightened his head and smiled.*

"I was trying to see if you came into the forest to fight the monsters or if you had any knowledge to the monsters they lay in this forest killing people at every turn."

*He slides his hands into his pockets and relaxed his stance. She had a weapon out still, but it was nothing that his steel skin could not defend againest with almost no effort. He looked to the bow and the quality of work done on it.*

"Nice bow. Seems some one spent a good deal of time making it of good quality."

Ayeka watched as the man lowered his weapons and put them away. Ayeka held her bow out to the man in case he wanted to inspect it. The man seemed to know alot about weaponary. She admitted though he was still very intimidating.

"I was not here to hunt monsters, i merely wanted to meet some of the trees in the area, you see i am able to communicate to them." She said crossing her arms.

"My bow has been handcrafted for me by Don Ichigochi, he's a renowned crafter where i am from." Ayeka said nodding her head.

*She spoke to him about her power and about her bow. He continued to look over the weapon. When she held it out he moved over and laid his hands on it looking it over. He would take it and inspect it more closely. He smirked and then held it back out to her.

When he thought about it he understood how she knew he was there when she said she could talk to the trees. He smiled and looked to the tree. That would be quite the power. Most tree were older then him.*

"Interesting bow and even more interesting power. Though by giving me the bow you inspect you did leave your self open for an attack. You are more trusting them some people.

Though you should be more careful in the forest with the monsters around. They are powerfull and not as nice as me. They have badly hurt many people."

*He moved over and patted the tree that had given him away. He smirked and looked back to her. He wondered if she found him odd*

Ayeka took the bow back and threw it over her shoulder. Although the man did have an intimidating figure and attitude she felt oddly comforted by him. She smiled back at the tree and whispered a polite thank you to it.

"I may not have had my bow but i wasn't exactly defenseless, the tree behind you did offer to help me, although I'm sure you would have been able to fight it off it would have at least bought me some time." She said. The oak tree behind him whispered to Ayeka to be weary of this man, apparently he must have spent alot of time in this forest.

The thought of monsters roaming the forest scared her a little bit although she was sure she could rely on at least some of these trees to protect her.

"So why are you hunting these monsters? Have they wronged you somehow?" She asked.

*He looked to the tree and raised an eyebrow. He wondered why the tree would want to fight him. He thought about it and he could not remember having ever used this tree for practice so he was not sure why it would hate him. He shurgged and looked back to her.*

"You would be correct that I could defeat this tree, though it would have been interesting to be attacked by one. It would be an odd change to have one fight back."

*He looked to her as she mentioned the monsters and then asked him why he hunted them. With a tilted head he thought about it and smiled. He figured he could tell her.*

"I hunt them to keep them from attacking the school. I protect everyone there by fighting in their stead. The monsters have come out of the forest before and they have been coming out alot lately and in much greater numbers so I am trying to find out why and how I can stop it. While in the mean time, putting as many done as I can get my hands on."

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka shudded slightly at the thought of monsters in the forest. Most people didn't realise but every single tree had feelings and thoughts. The thought that anyone would hurt a tree upsetted her and the idea of monsters roaming in this area made her even sadder.

"Trees will normally attempt to stay neutral and witness events, however i feel as though this tree would have helped me if i needed it. There is also the risk the tree who uproots itself may be unable to reroot itself and die." Ayeka said subconsiously stroking her engagment ring, it was something she always did when she was nervous to calm herself.

"So tell me about these monsters, i'd like to help in someway defend these trees."

*He smiled and looked to the ring on her finger. He gave her a puzzled look and tilted his head as he thought about it. It would be very interesting if a tree uprooted it self and tried to attack it. He had heard of it and even seen it once, but it was so long ago he was not sure it could still happen.*

"The monsters I speak of are the mutant wolf type. They are huge and heavy and red. They are fast as hell too. I have seen more then one person get biten by them have marks left on them for quite a while. If not forever."

*He motioned to the ring and smiled lightly. He wondered if she would be honest with him and explain the reason behind the ring. He was a curious man and was interested in knowing everything in the world.*

"So whats the story behind the ring?"

Ayeka noticed she had once again started stroking her ring, she wished she didnt always do it as it always lead to people asking her about it. Although she wasn't ashamed of her engagement she thought most people wouldnt understand her young engagement.

"The ring represents my engagement to my fiancee John, we met along time ago and got engaged earlier this year." She said as she forced her hands to stop stroking the ring. She instead sat down on the grass and began picking at the blades.

"I know it seems strange for a 16 year old girl to be engaged but i love my fiancee so it doesnt matter." She said

*He listened to her story and smiled the whole time. He shook his head as she started to to doubt her self and got nervous. He smirrked and wondered what she would think if she knew how old he was and and how many lifes he had lived, not to mention just how many times he had been married.*

"I am from tradtional Japan family so that if not very odd at all. In fact it seems normal to me. I am happy for you. I hope John treats you like you deserve to be treated."

*He smirked and sat down with his back to the tree, He looked to her and smiled as she still fidgeted with the geass. It seemed she had alot of things she wanted to say, but did not know how.*

Ayeka smiled at the man's comforting words. Although she didnt know him there was something comforting about his words maybe it was because he was the first person at this school to actually not consider it strange.

"Most people don't tend to think that way." She said looking at him instead of twitching. She looked into the mans eyes and smiled a warm smile, it was the first genuine smile she had made since she arrived at the school.

"My name is Ayeka Brown." She said crawling towards him with her hand extended for a handshake, "It is a pleasure to meet you."

*He smiled as she spoke to him. her words were easy to understand. Most people did not agree with gettin married at a young age or even becomign engaged at a young age. He was use to it from Japan. He had seen young women of the age of 14 get married back in Japan. Once they were able to birth childern they were often married off. Though recently that had changed to a more american way of life. He did not honestly like the change. He thought they should have stayed with their old traindtion.

When she crawled forward to shake his hand he reach out and took her hand. He shook it gently with a smile. Though his hand held hers firmly. As she seemed to think he was nice he just smiled.*

"It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Jun-Bo Tsuen. What are you thoughts of this school so far?"

Ayeka smiled as the man took her hand, displaying a gentleness that didn't suit his external appearance. She sat back down on the grass and looked the man over again. His appearance him seem cold however he had a nice heart.

"I'm not sure yet whether I'm happy to be here or not, it's certainly very different from where i come from. The other students for example are not people I would ever associate with. Like this Ryoko woman I was walking through the quad today and she runs me down on her skateboard." Ayeka said. She suddenly stopped herself realising she had started to ramble again.

"I'm sorry."

*He smiled as the lass seemed she had alot she wanted to say. She was more open then she showed to begin with. It seemed they both differed from what their shell showed the world. He had a hard shell so that way trouble knew they would only get trouble back.*

"Do not worry. I do not mind if you ramble on some. I am a good listener and do care to hear what you have to say.

If you do not associate with the type of people that are here, then what type do you associate with?"

*He smiled as he relaxed againest the tree. He figured the tree would not mind he leaning on it. And if it did, then he would just owe the tree one and if it ever needed to lean on him, he would let it. He smiled at his thoughts.*

"Though I think there is no one type a person can like to associate with. If there is then you limit the knowledge one can gain from others."

Ayeka paused for a moment as she considered his words. Although at first she thought MHS was supposed to be a private school it seemed to her that this school was for anyone who possessed abilities similar to hers. Although the thought of going to school with some of these people upset her she remembered why she was here in the first place.

"I grew up in a wealthy family so i'm used to dealing with people who are more sophisticated, in fact i thought this was going to be a private rich school, boy was i wrong." She said looking up at the sky.

*He listened to her as she spoke of what she had expected and of what she was use to. He raised an eyebrow and shrugged lightly.*

"So you are upset because some of the people here are not rich? This school is less of one for people rich of money then it is for people rich of power. This school was made so that people with powers could learn to control them and live in the normal world with out getting into trouble with the powers they have.

To be honest it is one of the best places to train your powers, because there are so many people here that train powers, that you can get help from many different people. I allows your powers to grow in ways you never thought of before."

*He smiled as he spoke, because he was trying to be nice and yet explain why it was a good place to be. He knew that most of the students here were from the lower class and did not act as a rich person would be use to, but she might find out she likes the way they act if she gave them a chance.*

"The only thing I ask is that you do not write off the people of this school by the amount of money they have, or the manners they use. But instead by who they really are."

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka nodded at Jun's words. She had come here to learn how to train her powers, considering the future of her fiance's fathers business depended on her success was a burden she was happy to carry even if she had to continue at this school.

"I never thought about it like that, for me learning to control my powers is of the utmost of importance. My fiance's father owns a nature theme park and for some unexplained reason some of the trees are failing. I know that if i can learn more about my gifts i can help." She said looking skyward as she thought back to the day she originally helped Princeton's business.

"But anyway thats a long story." She said smiling to urge him to change the subject.
