*He grinned and waved to her. He was sure she wanted to talk about something else so he was glad to change it. With a chuckled he started to speak.*

"You can give me the long story at a time we are both bored to tears and got nothing better to then eh? Sound like a deal?"

*He chuckled and after getting her answer started speaking again. his voice was calm and at ease. He wondered if he was too calm some times.*

"Just so you know there are several people here, who's powers are primaraly for fighting. There are even a couple here who are evil by nature and cause trouble. But that is life as a whole. Well then lets see. Do you like swimming?"

*He knew of a creek not too far from there that they could do some mild swimming in. The water would be a little cold, but not so bad as to stop him or most people that liek swimming from going in.*

Ayeka shook her head, she didn't like to go swimming not because she disliked it but because she was so uber conservative that she didn't like to show of any part of her body especially to perfect strangers.

"Um i appreciate the offer but no one is allowed to see in a bathing suit except for John." She said smiling at Jun. Considering Jun's history and japanese heritage she assumed he would understand her reasoning.

*He gave he an puzzled look. He some what understood what she meant. Though it was a little different in Japan, swimming was not a huge issue. He had swam with alot of people, he knew that in Japan only a family would swim together or those of the same sex. He figured that it was the same way.

He nodded to her and thought about it. After a moment he decided that he should tell her about the springs then. He was alot more open with his body then a tradtional Japanese man was, but that was because of the american way of life he had to adapt to.*

"I would suggest not going to the hot springs if I was you if you do not like allowing people to see your body at all. It is co-ed springs and often people go in their naked.

I do understand how you feel, and I feel your morals are good. I hope he treats you right and that you enjoy life with him."

*He smiled and reached up to cover his eyes and let his mind settle. He found it interesting to meet some one with the morals he use to have and still have to some level and degree.*

Ayeka considered his words carefully. Although she had originally come here solely to learn to train her powers, perhaps she should also attempt to learn how to be more like a normal girl, she planned to fully keep her morals in tact however living in luxury had deprived her of a lot of normality.

"I have been raised in a very particular manner, that is something i do not plan on changing." She said referring to her morals and beliefs. She was very quickly discovering that not a lot of people agreed with her style of living.

"Although, since I'm here i suppose perhaps it would be advisable to to try and blend in."

*He nodded and smiled. With her words ringing in his ears he closed his eyes. There was a nice breaze brushing his face. It made him want to sleep here, or fly a kite. He thought about the first time and last time he fly a kite. It had been relaxing.*

"I need a kite."

*He noticed that he said it aloud and chuckled at him self. With a smile he ran his fingers thru his hair.*

"I would suggest learning what people have to offer and then coming up with what works best for you. No one can tell you just how to live your life."

*He thinks to him self 'we can only tell you how we do it and you pick from there'*

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka was confused by his suggestion of kite flying, among other things. She wondered where his head was while she was speaking. Her opinion of him was slowly dropping as he drifted off into his own world. She decided to throw the conversation back onto him.

"So where are you from." She asked realising she knew nothing about him.

*He could tell that she was confused by his comment and shrugged. He guessed she was not use to people thinking about multiple things at once. Or at least not of them speaking of them aloud. He smiled lightly.*

"Sorry, Had a memory come up from the things we were talking about and I spoke only part of the memory, which I am sure it made no sense.

I am from Japan for the most part, though I have traveled over most of the world. I have seen a good many places.*

*He thought back to a few of the places he had been to trying to find something of interest amongest them to speak again. He had found most people loved to hear of other places and how they were different from where they have been.*

"Have you ever been to Japan?"

Ayeka shook her head she was starting to become confused by Jun's attitude perhaps he was not interested in talking to her any longer, or perhaps he was simply a strange person.

"Um no i have never been to Japan, i have had a flight lay over there once on a business trip but i have never actually visited the country."

Japan was one of the places she had always wanted to visit, mainly because she had never had the chance to speak to a native Bonsai tree. In her experience each type of tree had a particular personality type, although she had spoken to American Bonsai trees they normally had been affected by living with other types of plants.

*He smiled and leaned back looking to her. His eyes looked soft yet wise. He was in a sage like mood at this time, mainly because the danger of the forest was minimal at this time.*

"I think that Japan has one of the riched cultures and greatest histories of the countries, Though I am partialy biased since I was born and lived most my life there.

If you are interested in Japan, I could tell you more about it, or maybe the next time I go back there to visit my home town, you could join me. They are both possible."

*He smiled lightly as the wind picked up and changed direction. It blow his hair out to the side. He smirked at the sound of the leaves moving in the wind. If he was alone he might have taken a nap to this sound. It was so peacefully. In fact there was one tree in this forest that he often sleep in for it was so comfortable.*

"If you do not mind me asking, what do trees normal talk about. It is a topic that I have thought about many times in the past. Also do they feel true pain when some one hits them with a fist or leg?"

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka nodded as Jun spoke. Japan was one of the countries she was interested in visiting however due to her hectic schedule working for both Princeton and her grandfather's companies she seldom had time to do anything for fun.

"I would very much like to see Japan one day as you can probably tell i appreciate their customs and beliefs."

Ayeka nodded as he began to talk about the feelings of trees. The ignorance of the common person to the feelings and emotions of trees bothered her so any chance she had to enlighten someone of their existence she would normally take.

"Trees are much like people only much wiser, they are multilingual and understand most forms of slang. This is mainly because trees prefer discussions of knowledge over discussions of pop culture. Also trees do feel pain when they are attacked however it is normally minimal you shouldn't worry about snapping a branch off."

Suddenly the oak tree Ayeka had been speaking to spoke to Ayeka.

"Ayeka, the trees to the east have spoken to me, apparently a disturbance is heading this way." Ayeka cocked her head towards the tree and reached for her bow.

"What is it?" She asked the tree replied

"We are not sure but it is moving with much haste and and little regard for the trees it passes. Apparently there is more then one." Ayeka knew what that meant, this thing must be one of the beasts that Jun had spoken of earlier. She grabbed one of her arrows and cocked it.

"Jun, arm yourself." She said to him knowing he probably knew something was coming already.

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
*He smiled lightly as she went over the feelings of the trees. The biggest reason he had asked is he often used the biggest and strongest among the trees to train against since it withstood his attacks with ease, but if it truely hurt them, he might have to start doing something to repay the tree for all his abuse he puts it thru. He was thinking this over when he felt the signals coming this way. Oh yes it was the beasts he had been looking for.

He was a little surprised that there was only four of them that he could sense. Normally they travel in a pack of well over ten. He got to his feet with out even useing his hands. He looked to her as she spoke and nocked an arrow. He was pretty sure at ranged combat as would be good, but these things were super fast and dog like. The were big so made good targets, but they were still really fast.

He figured he would stand near her and keep the dogs at by. The red hounds of war, he had started to call them. They were not that powerful, but often came in massive numbers. Him and his friends had fought more then two dozen at one time. He keep his sense reaching out to find the others that he was sure were some where.*

"I feel them. Four of them thus far. Be very careful they are very fast and have very powerful jaws. If they bite you, they will take the limb with them. They rest about up to mid chest in height and are about 8 feet long, red in color. I am sure you will see them, before they are with in range to attack."

*He jumped stright up grabbing a branch on the tree he swung him self up into the tree and smirked as he walked along the branch with the ease of a professional gymnist. His hands moved to the hilts as he drew the blades. They were deathly silent to his pulling of them. The beast would be there with in the next mintue.*

"They come."

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
The four beasts charged towards the clearing Ayeka stood in. She remembered her training and zoned every disturbance from her mind. She focused solely on the charging enemy ahead of her. The dogs were almost at the clearing when suddenly the oak tree let out a grunt and one it's buried roots whipped to the service.

The root knocked two of the dogs back and caught one of the dogs legs causing it to fall inside the clearing. Ayeka quickly saw a chance and fired and arrow at the fallen dog hitting it where she assumed it's heart would before she could confirm the kill though the dog that hadn't been hit by the root charged towards her.

Ayeka ducked as the dog flew over her. The dog quickly landed and turned then charged Ayeka down, Ayeka attempted to draw another arrow however knew she wouldn't be able to quick enough to draw and fire at this one.

"JUN!!" She screamed praying Jun could come to her rescue.

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
*He smirked as the tree ripped up a root and attacked the dogs. He though it humorous to have a tree fighting on his side. He watcjed clearly as she fired an arrow into the one that got tripped. He nodded slightly and allows his eyes to follow the last one which leaped over her. He smiled and grabbed the branch leaning over the side of it towards the dog.

He aimed his sword directly at him and launched off he maxium force. His other sword came up to meet the first. Just as the dog was about the lunge at her again, it got hit in the back full force, buring his blades hilt deep in its back. He used his chi signal to keep track of all the anaimals. This ones chi signal was quickly fading.

He wondered lightly if she had been hit when the dog jumped over her. He set a foot on the dog and pulled with all his might to rip his blades from its back. He smiled and turned to her whipping both blades out from him, sending blood flying from his blades.*

"You ok?"

*He moved over to where he could better protect her from the ground. He had been right about it being over if she was attacked and also about her needing protection in close range.*

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka looked up at Jun in shock, partially because of the event but mainly because it was the first time she had ever taken a life using her bow. She dropped the bow beside her as she returned to her feet woozily. She felt no remorse for killing the beast but still, the shock of actually committing the act was setting in.

"I'll be alright, i just..." Suddenly she remembered the other two monsters that had been hit by the Oak tree, she attempted to reach for her bow knowing the blow would have only at best knocked them back a bit. When she reached for her bow though she couldn't bring herself to use it.

"What happened to the other two monsters?" She asked looking around to try and see where they were.

"And you said the beasts normally travel in groups of ten, so where are the other six?"

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
*He reached out to the limit of his sense and could only find the two. It looked like one was slinking around the side of them about 100 feet to his left and the other was running off. Most likely to get reenforcements. He frowned lightly as he could feel the chi in her body shift greatly as she got upset with her self and having killed. It was something he had felt many times before in his life.

He moved his eyes to look back to her and smiled calmly. It was a reassuring smile. He knew that she was scared of her action and that she was in shock. They always were. He reached out and patted her shoulder. He grinned and looked to her eyes.*

"Stay here with your back to this tree. I will see if I can take down the other two, before they can get help. Do not move from this spot tell I get back."

*He looked to the tree and smiled patting it lightly. He hoped the tree knew what he would be saying next.*

"I am counting on you to protect her in case I do not get back before the help comes."

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka fell back against the oak tree Jun had told her to stand by. She sunk down to a sitting position with her back pressed against the oak she didn't want to be so close to the creature she had killed but she felt as though she couldn't have moved even if she had wanted to. The tree behind her was burying it's roots again.

She was surprised that the tree had helped them, trees normally trees never fought, even when being attacked by an enemy. The tree continued burying it's roots Ayeka wanted to say thankyou but she found herself unable to speak, her bow had fallen from her grasp and was in the center of the clearing.

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
*He looked to her sit back against the tree. He could tell she was hurting bad from what she had done. He wanted to comfort her and tell her she did the right thing, but he did not have the time. He had to stop the two monsters or they would bring the rest of their pack if not more down on their heads.

Looking up to the branchs above him, he leapped up and grabbed the branch. With one hand he lifted him self up and swung his leg over. He smiled as his swords found their way securely home. He moved along the branch quietly. He knew the dog would catch his movement on the ground. He just hoped he could stick to branchs strong enough to support him as he moved off.

He leaped off one branch and landed in the next tree on a branch. He was almost close enough to see the one circling them. He figured he would take that one out first. It would allow her more time to rest and get her self back to normal, before the next monster appeared to rip her throat out. He continued to move calmly.

The monster shifted its stance and moved as if to intersept him. It was then that he noticed the wind was blowing towards the beast. He had made a very stupid mistake and this one would cost him an easy kill. His sense showed that this one had greater chi then the last one he fought. He figured it meant that this one was much bigger.

After a moment he found out that his thoughts were true. He saw a massive red wolf like monster moving towards the tree he was in. It had not noticed him yet with sight or it would have attacked. Though it knew he was there never the less. He smiled and drew a single blade quietly. It was at this time he thanked him self for for putting the cheese cloth in his sheath that made them dead silent.

A second more and he leaped out of the tree. The beast's eyes shot up to look at him. He leaped back and out of the way of his slash. He smiled and reached down drawing his second blade. He was not allowing this wolf to have the advantage on him. He noticed the length of his fangs and knew they were deadly. Each tooth was about the length of a dagger. He actived his steel skin and started to circle the monster looking for an opening.

The monster was so big that if it had wanted to, it could have pinned him with its weight. He was not happy with the idea of having a monster this big lunging at him. He knew this was going to be a quick fight if he did not act faster then the monster did.

With that thought he leaped forward and to the side. The monster head swung over and bite onto his side. His steel skin withheld the bite and the teeth ripped thru his shirt as he flew by. Both of his blade slashed out opening wounds in the side of the monster. He rolled twice then poped tall before the monster could attack him again. He held his blades out in front of him ready to attack.

His smile of fun disappeared when he noticed the wounds on the side of the monster start to disappear and heal. He cursed his luck for fighting a monster powerful enough to regenerate his swords damage. He leaped and rolled to the side as the monster lunged at him. He quickly got up and squared off with the beast.*

Re: talking to the trees (gideon)
Ayeka could hear the sounds of battle in the trees beyond she didn't know how it was going but she had faith Jun would destroy the monsters. The oak tree above her stood silently, she could tell from the whispers that it was probably talking to other trees to try and see how the battle was going.

She attempted to stand but she wasn't able to despite her best efforts. Suddenly the oak tree above her lifted it's root again over her.

"Something is coming" The tree said to her. Ayeka began to freak out she knew her bow was to far away and that the tree was unable to fend for itself for to long. Suddenly she saw the monster come into view, it was another of those demon dogs. The dog noticed the two dogs that had been murdered and looked them over, it them glanced at Ayeka and charged. The tree swung it's root and knocked the beast back.

"JUN!" Ayeka screamed again knowing the old trees roots wouldn't be able to fight for much longer.

*He sighed as he heard the noise from behind. Fine he thought as the monster got ready to lunge again. He would have to finish this one in a single attack. If not his friend would be dead. He moved to the side as the mosnter lunged and leaped forward him self spinning like a hurcane with his blade held out. They cut the side of the monster every time he spun. When he landed on the other side he took off running back hearing her scream his name.

He moved as fast as he could thru the forest. His blade held out. He scream out in rage as he moved. His eyes took on a deadly hint to them. You would almost swear they were turning red. He scream out as loud as he could as he moved towards the monster. He could see it now and see it moving towards her.*

"Die foul demon!"

Ayeka closed her eyes as the monster came closer, she knew the monster would soon best the tree and then be on her. She could not bear to watch the scene any longer Ayeka suddenly she heard Jun scream something and attack the beast. When she opened her eyes the beast had fallen.

Quickly Ayeka jumped to her feet and grabbed her bow. Without a word to Jun she started sprinting, a feet not easily accomplished in a dress. Se wanted to get far away from the death and violence. Despite not feeling bad for the dead creatures she still did not want to see them. She also wanted to be away from Jun, she almost felt as if this was his fault.

She knew in her logical mind that Jun had nothing wrong but at the same time she wanted to be away from him, she wanted to be away from all the violence.
