We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

A time to train (open if you can make it up here)
X-oshi had finally reached the peak. Or better yet one of the peaks. It had been a gruling batlle to the top. Many of the worn notches and foot holes had been eroded away. But X-oshi had his heart set on getting to the top. The fighter pulled himself upto the ledge and stood up. Looking as far as he could X-oshi looked around at his surroundings and to his amazment the lowest peak was kinda just above cloud level. Up here was a whole different world. Vibrant trees had made there home here. There was a nest of eagles who had also made home. The sun was brightly shining, and the clouds had seem to have gotten a bit darker under him. The sky was clear. It was way different than being below. X-oshi slung his back pack from his shoulders. Hitting the ground it popped open reealing a change of clothes some bread, water bottles, some power bars and some towels. X-oshi walking away from the ledge spotted a nice slab of stone that he could sit and meditate. It must have been his lucky day because he had found a rock with an overhead (so he could sleep).
"Well this is a nice looking place, Time for me to do some stretching."

Doing some of his usual training where noone else tends to wander, Merciah is almost caught off gaurd when he hears another voice on the Shiro Peak, of Aira Mountain. (I picked one of the few named peaks of the mountain. Just so happened to be that it is also the most common male name at the school hehe)
Stopping his exercises, Merciah is sure to approach the voice from a direction that would allow him to seem unthreatening.

X-oshi began his streaching so his body could become less tense. After the strenous workout he reaceaved while climbing up the mountain it would be good to do a couple of quick stretches to ease away some of the pain. X-oshi proceeds with the toe touch, then moving forward with the butterfly stretch, and so on a calf stretch. X-oshi continued with his cool down excercises.
As X-oshi finished his routine, X-oshi moved to the nearest slab of stone and sat down. Stretching his legs out forward and bringing them in. He uses his arms for a lock around his legs, holding them in place. X-oshi leans forward to place his head into his legs. Closing his eyes and resting just a bit. Using this time to free his mind. X-oshi begins to reflect on his life.

Continuing to walk up to X-oshi from an easily visible position Merciah hopes that he doesn't startle the kid. Seeing that his eyes are closed Merciah decides to anounce his presence as politely as possible. "The veiw up here is one that will stay in your mind forever. Don't you think?" Merciah begins hoping that X-oshi hears him and so he awaits a reply.

X-oshi slowly raises his head, Slightly revealing his eyes.
"Merciah it's been some time since we last met. How did the fight between you and the guy in white. I heard you got pretty banged up. However you seem fine enough- to have made it up here. So what brings you all the way up here."

As X-oshi recognizes Merciah and speaks his name, Merciah tries to think of where it is that they met as he doesn't remember. "I am sure I've seen you around before." Merciah begins, "Though I regret to say I don't remember your name. If I am right, you were at the arena, correct?"

"I apologize. I am just not used to knowing to many people. The whole time I have been here I haven't been one for social interaction. Though I have been trying to improve at what areas of such a thing that I could." Merciah admits.
Looking to the veiw that is visible from the mountains peak Merciah proceeds with their small conversation with a question. "What brings you to the mountain today?"

"Well, I need to get away and do some training. A tpe of training I have never done before. Some meditation. you know. I wanna see if I can become closer to nature. But more than all I have been feeling differently. Like I have more energy than I actually need. So I wanna see if I can do something about it."

"So you climb a mountain and meditate at the peak." Merciah adds in his own way. Stopping to look down the length of the climb Merciah continues after a few seconds. "Well, if you feel that you have to much energy, I guess it is a good thing that you are putting to use instead of letting it waste away on its own."

X-oshi rising to his feet.
"But you know what I don't understand why I do, I feel I need to release this or I don't know. It could go to waste.
Hey since you are up here lets have a little fun. i hear you have been at this school for a long time. However I want to spar with you. I know you could beat me so go easy. But I sill want to spar. Maybe I could learn something?"
X-oshi turns his back to Merciah and faces the sun. X-oshi taking a deep breath of fresh air. The school is usually kept pretty cleran however The air up was a bit thinner however it was considerably cleaner. X-oshi then crouches down and picks up a stone and immeadiatly trhows it towards Merciah's face, challenging him to a match.

Catching the stone in his hand and setting it down Merciah looks from X-oshi to the rest of the mountains. "I am going to have to decline your request." Merciah says as he turns back to X-oshi. "I honestly do not like fighting, and I would rather not if I didn't have to. You might think that I train to be a better fighter, but in all truths. I train at my skills in fighting only to be better at not having to fight." Merciah admits to X-oshi with a small bow in apology for not fulfilling his request.

"Meditation. Well I am always meditating. It is the most efficient way I have learned to search for things that are hidden within yourself." Merciah allows as he turns back to X-oshi.
"Why the sudden curiousity, in meditation and dueling?" Merciah asks X-oshi as he clears a smooth spot on the ground as though he were going to ready it as a place to sit.

"I like to meditate. ( I just have not done it in so long.) I have been quite busy here. The school is nice... i guess. Some stuff be going down alot but ya know. And I like to fight one on one but I haven't done that since the last fight against my brother. I just have not found the right place and time for such things. Until now. "
X-oshi rises from his spot and walks over to the edge of the cliff and squats as if he were looking for something.
"Plus there is some stuff I wanna try however I can't do it on my own. Concerning, "Kung Fu" and other styles of martial arts! It is experimental but I think it will work"

"Why do you you like to fight? I have never understood why people can find joy in combating others. Especially when such things are bound to injur somebody and pull them farther from Nirvana." Merciah asks X-oshi.
As He then speaks of a few things about Kung Fu, Merciah becomes curious as to what it is that he is hoping to try. And so, he voices his curiousity. "What exactly are you hoping to learn?"

Speaking in a calm tone of voice.
"It's an outlet. Someties that is the best way for someone to know someone else. Is through fist and blood. And we all have roles in life. Some roles are for people to kill others as opposed to those who must stop those. There will come when I will have the fight of my life. Once that happens then I don't know what will happen to me. I will no thave a purpose on earth. But foe now I must fight for it is my role. We martial know each other through the heat of battle, so I will know as many as I can. Also I might be able to quell the squalls in my own mind. So you can say some people Nirvana is actually on the traning floor or out and about on the killing fields."
X-oshi said to Merciah.
"I hope that gives you some insight."
X-oshi takes a stance. It's not an actual stance just something that he came up with.
"I wanna become stronger for that day I do need to battle. I wanna become more in tune with Kung Fu. I was hoping I could try some TAI CHI. It may sound funny but I kinda wanna learn it. I thought by coming here this would be the best place. To my understanding Tai Chi is moving like the wind."
As X-oshi spoke a rush of wind came across the mountain top. X-oshi's hair had gotten a bit longer and the wind went through what it could.

"You might be on the correct set of an idea to understand what you are meaning to say. As Tai Chi is not moving like the wind as you might think." Merciah begins. Though he is fully proficient in Kung-Fu, Merciah has aswell studied the Martial Art known as Tai Chi Chuan which X-oshi speaks of.
"Tai Chi as you speak of, follows the principles of yielding, softness, centeredness, slowness, balance, suppleness and rootedness." Merciah explains. "Such as the actions of the philosophy behind Tai Chi Chuan's movements." He continues, using the full name of the martial art.
"For example." Merciah begins, as he stands still and quickly moves his hands forward in a striking motion, seeming to slow, even though they don't at the end of the strike. "Cloud Hands." He says finishing the move, "Is the title of this movement. This form of martial art is not necessarrily for combat, yet for gaining structure withing the body, as the move Brush Dust Against the Wind." Merciah adds using the English translation for the move, while moving into its actions as he finishes its title. With a fluid movement he comlpetes two full sweeping kicks that barely brush the gound, spinning twice on he returns to his standing position as small amounts of dust are disturbed and blow away with the breeze.
"These movements can be used for combat against another not highly skilled in certain forms of martial arts, but as you see, they require the principles I spoke of. Bringing it to be a practice used mostly for finding ones center."

X-oshi stands in front of Merciah as he spoke on about the principles of the Art form. He showed him some demostrations and provided more insight on the moves,
All the while, X-oshi withdrew into his mind and pictured himself doing such moves. He also began to try and unravel the mystery and pysics behind such said principles.
X-oshi spoke to himself: "If I can umderstand the physics then I could learn better."
X-oshi then began the moves in real time.
He thrusted his hand forward way too quickly and tried to do do the sweep kicks but unfortunaltly could not accomplish brushing the ground. Instead he swung his foot across it and stirred up more dirt than Merciah.

"I can attempt to give you a few pointers, though I am not not sure I would be a great instructer. If you wished to learn what I would now about the martial art, it would take a great deal of committment. And even more of your time. Aswell, I would not expect any form of failure and I would be harsh and in noway lenient. Do you understand what I would require of you?" Merciah asks after explaining to X-oshi that it won't be a simple task, learning Tai Chi, as he is no Capitalist Dojo instructer.
(No, he's not communist, it is just a way to say that he isn't doing it for anything in return.)

X-oshi lifts his head reaviling just the tops of his eyes. "I can handle it. Lets do it. Perfection does not come easy. This the X-oshi knows. Bring the first lesson."
