Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Max looked around the small cavern reprieve he had created for the situation. The entrance was cleverly covered with a pathc of rocks near the base of the mountain and towards the 'backside' of the rock face. It would prove sufficient enough for the moment. He merely had to keep his captive safe from prying eyes right now. He then looked over at the still unconsious Amber.
She was tied to a chair, slumped back in about as comfortable a position as he could position her. He was crewl man, but the last thing he needed was a little girl crying about a neck cramp. Her legs were bound to the legs of the chair and her arms were bound and tied to her lap. A third rope also kept her fastened to the chair. It was a clever set up, but had also used quite a length of rope. All good plans needed good resources, he supposed. The spy then looked to the pendalum he had wrapped up in a shred of cloth. He had been careful to remove it with the metal covered. Yakoutio had dropped a hint into his reports about doing so that he had remembered on the way to the mountain while searching for soft spots to attack during his interogation.
The agent then leaned against the cave wall, half his face and body now covered in a shadow. It was the perfect thing to see when she woke up. Things like these were always planned before hand. It was all a stage for the interogator and he needed to make sure the audience believed he ment business. For a final affect, Maxwell drew his standard issue beretta and unloaded then reloaded it. He wanted to make sure it seemed as real as possible. Of course he would never shoot her, that was just bad business. He planned to use her like a puppet, much like Yakoutio. The stage was set, now all he needed was his audience to wake up...

It was a state of dreamless sleep, a blessing if it had not been brought on without warning and coupled with pain. No nightmares, no blood on her hands, nothing but listless sleep. The pain was gone now and she felt herself on the verge of waking up, though her eyes still felt heavy.
The winged girl moaned softly as she woke up. Something was not right, but her mind was still coming to. She blinked, looking down at her lap where her hands were bound with rope. She tried to move her hands, shift her body in some way to move, but without any luck. Her wings were unbound, but they pressed up against the chair enough to keep them from being useful. The girl struggled a little more until she stopped; no reason to hurt herself if she was stuck.
"What...what the-?" She said softly. The girl gasped, remembering Sakura walking towards the bed with several weapons and then...what had happened? She had been pinned to the wall by her dresser, losing her pendulum sometime then and she could remember the air being heavy with a smoke. It burned her eyes, she couldn't breathe and then something sharp stabbed her neck. Amber glanced around, realizing she was not in her dorm room, but a cavern.
Where am I? Where's Sakura?
The girl lifted her head, realizing someone was with her. A figure was leaning against the cave wall, his face hidden by the shadows. The last image she had before passing out was a figure in the smoke, a figure with a malicious voice. It had to be the same person, she thought to herself. Amber narrowed her eyes at the figure.
"Who are you? What is going on?" Her voice tried to remain calm, but wavered. She was frightened of course, unsure of what was going to happen.
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
"I told you I would be back for you. I just never suspected it to be this soon..." he said in his eerily flat voice.
Maxwell then straightened himself out adn walked towards the girl. His figure was impending, if only because he was dressed to look that way. The inability to focus on his eyes, the sharp suit that spelled authority, and the beretta hanging by his side, held loosely in his right hand. Max was definately someone to look out for, especially once you got to know him. He then looked down at Amber, still a couple feet from her.
"I want some answers, freak, and you're going to give them to me." he said, only putting some emotion into the insult. "What is Shalamar up to? Why are all you abnormals being conscripted into this 'school'?"

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
"Shalamar...?"
Snap.
Just a she had thought, it was the same voice that spoke to her. Who was he calling a freak, the angry thought crossed her mind and her nephilim blood reacting to the insult. The presence of the gun subsided the anger, she had to remain calm. The girl's dark eyes looked to his.
"How should I know?" She told him the truth. "I haven't even really seen him since I got to this school."
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Maxwell calmly turned around on his feet, placing both hands behind his back. She was testing his patience, no doubt. Someone in this school had to know about Shalamar and he was determined to get his information. The spy then quickly snapped back to life, his free hand back handing her hard across the face. The crack resounded through the cave, but was undoubtebly muffled by the cover that hid the entrance. Max then looked at her again, letting his sunglasses slide down slightly so she could see the anger and determination in his eyes.
"Now, what is Shalamar up to?" he stated again, hoping for a more co-operative responce this time.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Amber's cheek stung like hell, and the captor's back hand knocked the wind out of her for a moment. In that moment, she could remember...she had seen this guy only once, Christmas Day talking with Yakoutio.
He's crazy...
The girl faced him again, and she tried everything in her power to keep from breaking down...or waking up. The thought of killing him pleased her, speaking the forbidden words. The girl clenched her fists so tight her nails dug into her palm.
No! Don't think that way!
"I don't know." She repeated in a calm voice. "You're wasting your time."
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)Number three. That's when you'll know, Max. After the third time they're usually clueless or damn good at keeping information. Either way, you stop there."
He could remember his training clearly like it was yesterday. That was one of the advantages of having an advanced mind. He quickly tightened his grip on the beretta and pointed it to her forehead. Once again, in another quick and skillful movement, he flipped the gun so that he was holding the barrel and pistol whipped the poor girl across the opposite cheek. He then flipped it back around and forced her head down with the tip right in the back of her head.
"Last chance. What is Shalamar up to?" he said, a little bit of anger in his voice.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
The girl had finally winced when he had pistol whipped her. What could he want to know? Whoever he was, he wasn't too great at finding someone who actually knew something. Her forced her head down and she could feel the gun digging into the back of her head.
Her copper blonde hair draped over her face, hiding the look in her eyes. She had always been against wishing for death, but this one...tears formed in her eyes.
What does he want me to say? I don't even know...
"What the hell is wrong with you!" The winged girl shouted at him. She was trembling, both of fear and an anger that surpassed her usual threshold.
"I don't even know what you could possibly want to know! I don't know anything about Shalamar!"
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Maxwell quickly etarcted his firearm, spinning it twice in his hand before getting a firm grip on it. His grip then loosened back to it's original form, letting the gun almost hang in mid-air. so she didn't know anything about the prinicpal. no one did around here. He would kill someone for any information...Well, another person, at least. The agent was satisfied with her ignorence to the principal's where abouts and plans and decided to give some easier questions. He slowly walked over to a small wooden table he has pilfered earlier and looked at the bundled little package upon it. He removed the cloth with the tip of his gun to reveal Amber's pendant. He could almost see the energy coming off of it, though he suspected it as being hot instead of writhing with power.
"What exactly is this?" he questioned meanacingly. "I want to know the specifications of this weapon."

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Amber lifted her head, slowly regaining her composure as he turned away. Her face was burning with pain from the slap and the pistol...another pleasent experience to add to her nightmares.
I leave LA to get away from angels and demons...and instead I get this psycho. Thanks a bunch, God.
The girl looked up, her dark eyes resting on her pendulum. It was glowing the eerie dark blue light again, pulsating along with her own heartbeat. Amber looked up at him, her eyes misty and slowly clearing up.
Dad...
"Pendulum," she said softly. She was willing to talk about it, just as long as he didn't hit her again.
"A gift from father...it utilizes my chi energy, changing it into light beams. It can bless things too...just not wise to touch it."
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Chi energy!? Did she really expect him to believe that? Maybe she was a freak but he needed to know for sure. The pendulum was denifately doing some weird things, like that glow. How did it glow like that without her even touching it? Had he flipped a switch by accident? No, no, he was sure he hadn't hit anything like that. So it was her power. He shyed away from the thing adn turned towards the girl. He needed to know more.
Walking up to her, he swiftly kicked her gut, most likely knocking the wind right out of her. The chair leaning back slightly but kept it's ground, coming back down to the earth below. That would grab her attention and make his questions sink in a little better. Pain, or the lack there of, was always a good insentive to keep hostages talking.
"I said everything, you little mutant." he said, almost growling at her. "How does it work? You can't be serious when you say you use this 'chi' crap. Now, I want the truth and I want all of the truth!"
Most people think time is like a river that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of time, and I can tell you, they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. The moment he had kicked her in the gut, the girl cried out and the pendulum reacted. The crystal pendelum began shift into a dark color and heated up as if a flame begant to burn inside of it. The girl gasped to regain her breath. She hated this man...her nephilim blood was provoked and a part of Amber prayed the pendulum could fight back and cleanse her.
She slowly lifted her head. Her eyes were so dark that it seemed that light would diminish under her gaze. Her wings spread out as much as they could and she sat upwards as if she was sitting on a throne. She seemed to be the same girl, but at the same time...
"For a cunning mortal such as yourself, you know nothing. It is attached to my soul," the girl said in an ice-cold tone of voice. The soft voice she had previously was vanishing, changing like the light in the pendulum. "Do you know what energy is? Energy is a God-given gift, present in everything in this universe. Chi is that same energy, utilized into that pendulum and used as a weapon. There is nothing more to say than that, child."
The winged girl had not blinked at all as she spoke to him. She seemed to be staring off far away, somewhere beyond what one could ever see.
"A freak...mutant." The girl mused to herself, momentarily looking sad again, but that expression melted away. "Maybe that's what one would call the Nephilim, the children of the Sons of God and the daughters of man."
The winged girl fixed her eyes on him. She had a smile on her face, terrible and sweet at the same time.
"That is...if you believe in such a thing. God. Heaven. Hell."

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Maxwell stroked his chin for a second, wondering what exactly she was talking about. He had read about Seraphim, arch-angels in their own respects. It was all mythology, of course, though seeing Amber had made him wonder. The Nephilim, who were they exactly? He had also noticed the girl had entered a rage-like state. Probably from beating her around all this time, Max didn't care that much. At least he was getting some answers now.
"So who are these Nephilim, exactly?" he inquired. "From what I gather, they're supposedly celestial beingswith the blood of man in their genes. A history would be more appropriate, though, wouldn't you think?" he threated, tilting the beretta sideways and pointing it to her chest.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
The girl was eerily calm, and had not even looked down at the gun pointing to her chest. If she had been in her normal state, the girl would've reacted.
"We should not exist, and we do...a paradox in God's plan for creation and because of that, we're cursed. Emotions, love, desire...those are things forbidden to the angels. And yet few devloped feelings for humans below, certain humans that may share affinity for each other. The Sons of God and the daughters of man mated and bore wonderous children. However, those children grew up and became monsters carrying a great capacity of sinfulness from the union of the parents. They devoured the earth, humans, everything. Those nephilim fell victim to the Great Flood. The nephilim of now are cursed with the presence of their wings. Because of their birth, they are both gifted and cursed-"
The pendulum suddenly shot up into the air and shifted from black to white, and a beam light bathed over the winged girl. Amber stopped speaking and suddenly her body was limp. The pendulum dropped back into Max's cloth-clad hands.
Amber lifted her head up and glanced at Max with the most confused expression on her face. She glanced down at the gun pointing to her chest and her soft voice returned.
"I already told you what it was, it runs on my chi energy. I'm not sure exactly how it works or what it can tell me. What more can I tell you? Just let me go!"
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
"Foolish girl." he merely replied.
Another with a hidden talent they could never comprehend. Such a waste of a person. So the questions were answered, and he was sure this girl was totally oblivious to most things around her. It seemed the power deep inside was the one to ask questions to. He simpyl sighed to himself and withdrew his pistol, putting it back in his shoulder slung hoslter.
"Well, well, well. It seems you're more useful than I first thought. Luckily for you, that means I don't have to kill you now. But, there is a catch..."
He then reached into his pocket a drew a golden bracelet and a rough looking pad with a small button on it, resembling a garage door opener. The bracelet was quite beautiful in it's own respects. A thin golden band that locked in place with a large ruby heart on it. It would easily pass off as a regular bracelet, though there were always tricks up Maxwell's sleeve. He then walked over to Amber and put the bracelet on her.
"This, my little puppet, is your new bond to my little family. You are now officially a member of S.I.N.S.! You're going to be doing small jobs for me, and I hope, for your sake, that you obay them without questions. That bracelet there isn't just any old bracelet. It's very special indeed."
Max then walked over to a shaded corner. Before he even came back out, someone being kciked hard could be ehard. Then, a small boy came out of the darkness, skidding across the ground hard to a stop. The boy was pale and skinny. He had obviously been kept prisoner for awhile now. He looked jittery and scared of Amber, though as Max walked out of the shadows the boy cringed with fear. His captor was a crewl one indeed.
"Let me give you a little demonstration of what happens to those who have no further use to me."
Max then pressed the button and an electrical shock was sent through the boy. He writhed in pain while Max simply watched him. The screams were terrible, making any normal person's skin crawl. Max smiply had a twisted smile on his face as he thouroughly enjoyed the small boy's pain. As the screams stopped, Max let go of the button and the boy went limp, twitching every so often. He was bleeding from his ears and eyes, clearly dead now from the voltage.
"And don't think that I'll hesitate just because it's you on the other side. Also, if you're thinking about being some self rightious prick about this whole situation, you can keep this in the back of your head: I have more toys than this. Nerve gases, explosives, leathal syrums, and many other interesting tools. The school is a ticking time bomb set to my whim. If you even think of mentioning any of this to anyone, I will make that school simply a puff of smoke from a satellite picture. Get it?"
To make his point, the spy extracted another button similar to the one he had thrown away and used to kill the small boy. He then pressed it and Amber's bracelet activated, shocking her violently. He kept his thumb on it for about five seconds and then let it go. He knew she would be in amazing pain, mybe even have some internal bleeding if she was unlucky. The spy then simply walked away, leaving her there. Either way he won. Someone would be along to save her eventually, and if she was still alive that would be even better for the two of them. Snickering at his little web, he felt pleased with his work and intended to get a nice cup of coffee.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
The girl screamed at the shock. Never had she felt so much pain in such a short period of time, and for a moment she was sure she was going to die.
It felt forever before it stopped, and the girl's body went limp. Tears rolled down her cheeks at her dilemma. Her entire body was hurting, the rope was digging into her skin. There would be rope-burns there, she could feel it. She wasn't dead.
I'm trapped...I can't tell...or everyone will die.
The girl glanced up for the last time at the body of the poor boy with her. She whispered a something in Latin, something to lead the boy to Heaven and she slowly felt everything turn dark. She cosed her eyes and allowed herself to fall into numb darkness. There was no pain in that sleep, no nightmares.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Vash was just starting to prepare for his evening runs as he ran past the familiar mountain at the school. The breeze was invigorating and it filled him with an amazing energy. His eyes then shifted qucikyl to a figure who was walking away from the mountain. He had never seen him before, but he was sure the boy didn't want to be bothered. He seemed to be thinking about something and moved in a very methodical way. He was shying away from something, though, and that peaked Vash's interest.
With the speed and stealth of the wind, Vash raced towards the mountain, making sure to avoid the boy's gaze. He didn't want to alarm anyone by straying from his usual route. Creeping around the rocks, he found a small enterance to a cave and smirked to himself. So the boy in the suit had a small hideout for himself. Very clever. Wanting a closer look, Vash snuck into the opening. What he found was not anything he had ever expected to see.
The cave was a hideout alright, but for one of nefarious deeds. The room was almost empty, save for a table, a boy who clearly looked dead, and-
Amber!? the hunter thought in horror.
He quickly raced to her body, limp in the chair. He could feel a fear like no other he had ever experienced as he checked for her pulse. She was still alive, but he knew that would change if he didn't get her some help. His heart was racing and the thoughts of a broken promise haunted his mind. Drawing his sword, Vash made a few quick slashes and the ropes unraveled onto the floor. He then sheathed the blade and put both of his hands on her shoulders. Shaking her lightly, he looked to see if there were any signs of life in her.
"Amber! Amber, wake up!" he pleaded, his voice hinting to his anxiety.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
The pendulum resting on the table reacted, still wrapped in the cloth. Inside the crystal was only a glimmer of white light, but it would be little more than enough.
In her sleep, the winged girl felt a warmth deep inside herself. So sure that it was nothing more than an illusion, she almost didn't feel it. The warmth became more prominent, flowing through her entire body. It felt as if someone was holding her, comforting her after enduring the pain she felt in her waking moments.
"Wake up, little wing...you're safe now." A familiar voice whispered to her, a voice she had not heard since that one snowy midnight. The last promise he had made to her, he would watch over no matter what. The voice had no face, no body...
Dad?
The feeling remained, even as she started to find herself waking up. Yes, her face was hurting with a dull pain that would be tender to the touch. The cold metal bracelet was still there on her wrist like the mark of the beast.
Hands on her shoulders, gently shaking her; she could feel it though she had not even opened her eyes.
Please let it not be that monster...it'll hurt again...he'll do it again...
Though they felt heavy, Amber opened her eyes. A part of her longed to return to that numb sleep, especially if her blurred vision cleared and it was that person smiling in that twisted way.
No, it wasn't that person. Not the one that had threatened her life, or killed the poor boy before her eyes. The comforting voice had been right. She would've smiled if she had the energy to, or cried if she was able to.
"...Vash." One word of relief; Vash would never hurt her. The girl passed out again, returning to the comforting, numb sleep.
Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
She was alive, at least, and that calmed Vash down to some degree. He still needed to get her help, though, and fast. The dunpeal quickly picked the girl up and cradled her in his arms. She may have been unconsious, but that didn't mean he could treat her like a rag doll and throw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatos. Checking the small boy once more for any signs of life, and finding none, he quickly made his way out of the cave.
Who could have done such a thing? he thought to himself. I swear, if I ever catch who did this I will-
His train fo thought was halted by the sudden appearence of trees. He quickly jumped to his left and looked around to ensure his safety. Not paying attention at such high speeds was not a good plan. He then focused on the task at hand and left his cursing for later.
Like a flash they were at the school and Vash blew through the door with a hard kick. The hinged creeked in pain and almost gave in to the mighty blow as the dunpeal picked up speed once more. The nurse's office was his goal and he almost knew the route by heart now. The strange thing was that Amber was now the one in trouble instead of Yakoutio or himself.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Following the trail left by Amber's captor, Karrody finally finds himself at the cave that she had been taken to. Entering both with out sound and any possibility of being spotted he finds himself in the cave standing ove the body of one boy who apparently has been burnt some how from the inside out, as though he were cooked.
Continuing to search the cave for any sign of Amber he finally concludes that two people left the cave. One alone, another apparently caring whatever was tied up in the chair. Deciding this to be the way Amber was taken Karrody searches through the cave once more, and before he leaves, finds Ambers pendullum.
Returning to the exit of the cave, the pendent now tucked safely away inside his coat Karrody follows the easily seen trail left behind by Vash as far as the school when he notices it heads towards the nurses office.

Re: The Botched Interogation Plan. (Amber)
Rayd sat in his room, his sunglasses on the bed next to him. His real eyes were visible, indication he was using his powers. He had seen which direction Karrody went but lost him later. He was now searching the area in which Karrody went, rapidly searching before stopping at a cave in the mountains.
"There!"
Rayd said as he disappeared in a white flash. Suddenly he was standing in the middle of the cave and the first thing to catch his eye was the boy lying on the ground Rayd quickly teleported next to the body kneeling down to examine the wounds.
"No neck wounds, so it definately wasn't Karrody. Nope this kid was somebodies prisoner... I'm gonna have to find Karrody and see what exactly's going on."
He stood up from the body and began searching the rest of the cave, making sure nothing was left behind that could provide a clue.
